Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #86 AI: The Somnium Files Since this game is a visual novel, I will not talk about the story, but to help picture it, it's like Ace Attorney and Id: Invaded had a perverted child. During the first hour I was already interested, and throughout my almost 34 hours, my interest only rose. The story will keep you thinking about the mysteries until the end, the characters are very lively, the game is funny, and the soundtrack is very good. The Somnium parts are very creative puzzles, I wish there were more. Sadly the graphics disappoint a bit. You dont play this kind of game thinking about the graphics, and they dont let down the majority of the time, but sometimes during zooms and the backgrounds are pixelated and ugly. Also, I dont know if this is my PS4 acting up or not, but after some hours my game would sometimes lag or I would experience random fps drops. Luckly they didnt hinder the experience. You will get almost all trophies just playing the game normally. The descriptions are pretty clear about what you have to do, but if you're having difficult, search for a guide and you will be ok. Ah, and dont worry about missables, you can return to any point of the story at any time. I dont know if masterpiece is the right word, might be a bit exaggerated, but if you like visual novels, dont sleep on this one. This game is very good.
Popular Post DamagingRob
#442- Injustice 2 World Destroyer Complete all Trophies KYC posts: Day 1 & Final Review. Yes, it did require playing (or rather turboing) as Catwoman for 3,000 minutes.. Such a stupid trophy. Could have finished days ago, but held off to pop it on my birthday. Knew I'd probably not finish DQ XI in time. Platinum and final trophy image: Spoiler Wanted to finish with Supergirl, because Laura Bailey (love her voice in almost everything). I already liked Supergirl, so that made it a really easy choice. Lol. And yes, I did use the more revealing Power Girl outfit. Popular Post Sunflower
#191 - Persona 5 Royal My experience for Persona 5 the first time wasn't that great, despite being a huge fan of the previous entries. I felt the game dragged and consequently got burnt out around the 3/4 point. Royal however, fixed pretty much all of my complaints. So many new additions, battles felt faster, characters that I thought were wasted in the vanilla version were given more screen time so I felt more attached to them and overall everything just felt satisfying. I'd highly recommend not bothering with the original and pick up Royal if you haven't played P5 yet, or if like me, you didn't have a great time with the original. The platinum is also far easier than the original, with less pressure and more leniency to do it. There's still a lot of missables and tricky requirements (especially if you want Royal's True Ending) but it's completely do-able as long as you check which dates you need to save on for critical choices (which really there aren't a huge amount for). Oh and without any spoilers, the final palace is just absolutely GORGEOUS and the music (especially the final boss theme) are some of the best tracks in the Persona series PERIOD.

Couldn't agree more, while I loved everything about P5, the biggest turnoff for me was the dragging aspect especially with the battles. The QoL changes royal implemented takes on the issues that I had on it. It's a great definitive version! I'm looking forward to the final palace! Popular Post Armidi
#70 Mortal Kombat (PS3) Platinum Trophy - You've unlocked all Trophies! Enjoyment 10 Difficulty 9 /10 Finally over! It was very long and difficult but i did it! I got this platinum after years. I love so much Mortal Kombat saga, and this game is come out as "remake" of the old school chapters, i remember when i was kid playing in the 90's Mortal Kombat Trilogy. This game carry me to old and pleasant emotions. Most difficult trophies are for sure all the challenges (some are the hell), "collectable moves" and the time spent on EVERY single characters for the trophy "My Kung fu is stronger"., damn one of the most difficult trophies i ever did! Popular Post Deluziion90
Platinum #271 - Resident Evil 3 So Long, RC Obtain all trophies. Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 8/10 Amazing followup from the Resident evil 2 remake however it lacks a lot.. The gameplay is short. REALLY SHORT. My first casual run took me 6 hours. After that it was speed run after speed run around 1 hour each to get new trophies. Another thing, when I was a kid I remembered Nemesis was an absolute bitch but here he felt like nothing in this game and not much of a threat even Mr. X was more annoying in RE2. The good side is however it's full action packed with not much filler and slow paced stuff. There's always happening something really fast and overal it was a great experience to play. But for anyone that's not a dumb hype buyer like myself, safe yourself some cash and wait till it's cheaper because it will probably be a lot cheaper in a few month's.

Popular Post Captain_Bone_666
#54 - Platinum Shadow of the Tomb Raider Chalice of Torment I have seen some hate with regard to this game, but to me it was an okay game. Yes, the camera is a little off at times which can get you killed while climbing, running or fighting - but even on my "Deadly Obsession" run (highest difficulty with reduced check point for saving that can make you repeat an hour of game play, if you die at the wrong place) I died like 5-6 times. And out of these, I guess 1 death was the result of the game mechanics, all other deaths were on me. What I am trying to say: the game play works, it's just not as good as e.g. the Uncharted games. And getting the platinum wasn't very hard. I recommend to do it in 2 runs, 1 on normal difficulty (or easy, if you want to be even faster) to get all collectibles and a fast Deadly Obsession run (probably 5-6 hours). If you now the levels, it's not hard although there are parts were it gets pretty tense, when you have already played for an hour and still don't get to save your game. There was hardly any believable character development. But then again - who cares? It's Lara.
Popular Post sk_lp_him
#54 - Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered Julius Caesar Earn every Trophy. Easy plat, short game but that's not always bad. I don't know why the plat's name is that of AC Brotherhood but I guess they didn't care much. It's an ok remaster.
Popular Post Karl-Kai
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Lionheart Now, this was a game I was really looking forward to; my first ever digital pre-order. I was absolutely enjoying myself playing this. Even in the very beginning I managed to waste away hours without progressing the story at all by doing "mundane" things such as exploring everywhere, drawing magic and carding enemies once I learned the appropriate skill, so that I could build up a deck with which to battle early on. I kind of got swept away by the Triple Triad mini game, challenging people repeatedly to hoard all different kinds of cards from them. While Triple Triad is very simple at the heart, it has charm. To the dismay of my parents, my first play session was an exceptional marathon of 19 hours straight (with bathroom breaks and meals). And later on to the dismay of yours truly; I had a persistent headache and nausea for the next two days. Teaches me to never do that again. But. FF8 is a great game. I found the gameplay really fun once I got the hang of the junction system and was mindful of it how much EXP I accumulated. I did use the "cheat" to disable random battles quite often, because I loved to sniff around the place to discover as many secrets as possible. The amount of hidden stuff in FF8 is mind-boggling, so I didn't have any dull moments while derailing from the path of story progression. Still, even with my running around like a headless chicken and sticking my nose in every business I could spot/accidentally fall upon, I'm sure I missed some side quests or little things (I even had to google help for that Lake Obel thing. The time I used circling around the colourful stones was ridiculous). And I failed to collect every single kind of Triple Tried card as well (maybe I'll get that done on another playthrough...). I also managed to lost my way at times because there are no markers on the map or a backlog to consult, so sometimes I even forgot what it was that I was supposed to do next and had to rake through different places to either stumble upon the right spot or refresh my memory --- things that bumped up the amount of hours I sank into this game. Once or twice I lost a chunk of data because there was no auto-save; on the fields, I kept forgetting that the save option was in the menu, ready to be used, just because the save point icons weren't there to remind me, haha! Speaking of forgetfulness, one time I also managed to forget where I parked the Balamb Garden and ran around like an idiot at the cost of multiple Seed ranks before I got reunited with it. x'D The game was enjoyable storywise, too; it was both grandeous and wacky at the same time. I like stories that can serve you both cool and funny scenes. Also, the characters were a nice group of individuals with their own personalities, Leon being one of my favourite Final Fantasy characters. And hey, those moombas are really adorable --- why can't they be a staple piece alongside duller creatures such as cactuars and moogles? The game did look remarkable as well. The design style of old-fashioned sci-fi meeting magic was awesome, and despite being an old game, I think the graphics were really beautiful. Then again, I do like the retro look of PS1/PS2 games. And of course, the soundtrack had absolutely fantastic melodies --- I think the PS1 era Final Fantasies have the most pleasing soundtracks of all FF games. Just lovely. I'm super happy I finally got the play this game from start to finish. I loved every moment of it (expect maybe when Odin rushed in my battles when I didn't want him, lol) and I'm very grateful this master piece found its way on the PS4 console.
Popular Post Starrk_01
Plat # 169: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered Not sure if it was just me or what, but Crushing mode was not that hard this time vs playing on the PS3. Popular Post SirDave1988
# 112 God Of War (2018) (PS4) Father and SonObtain all other trophies What more can be said about God Of War 2018 that hasn't already been said? For my money, this is one of the greatest all-round single player games of all time. It does require an element of needing to know what has happened in the story previously to get the full levels of enjoyment out of it, but with a series as good as this, that's not a bad thing. Apart from a small handful of glitches here and there and quite the slog of the collectables (looking at you Odin's Ravens), this game is really quite hard to fault anywhere. Graphics are about as good as the PS4 offers (especially for 2018), gameplay has hardly any faults, sound is great (fits the game perfectly) and the story is one of the best and most engaging I've ever played. Without spoiling anything, I am very much looking forward to the sequel to this, most likely on PS5 in a few years from now. Hope I can keep up the plats with that though as I have now finished the whole God Of War series. Edited April 4, 2020 by SirDave1988

Popular Post dermarx
# 120 The Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel III (and Trophy #9000) Enjoyment 10/10 Difficulty 6/10 Finally finished Trails of Cold Steel 3. Again it was absolutely great to play it, and of course again I missed some collectable. So I played it twice. Nightmare gave me a hart time, especially the boss and the end of chapter 4. That is the reason it is a 6/10 Difficulty. The Story is a little bit longer then the first two ToCS - I finished both playthrough in 170 Hours (but I took some time to enjoy the story and the side characters, which got me sidetracked). The Story starts one year after the end of ToCS II and everyone grew up a little bit; it is cool to see. Now I'm waiting for ToCS IV; allready preordered ofc
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#351 - Life Is Strange 2 This has been sat in my backlog for a while and I'm glad I finally got round to playing it. It's an emotional ride from the first episode and I found myself caring more and more about the fates of Sean & Daniel as the game went on. The dynamic between them was endearing and both brothers were likeable. One thing that really impressed me about the game besides it's underlying political and social commentaries is how each episode takes place in a completely different setting and all feel different from each other. On balance, I slightly preferred the first game purely because of it's much stronger cast of supporting characters which is where Life Is Strange 2 suffers somewhat. The first season had a B cast that were all memorable in their own way but that sadly isn't the case here and for the most part they're pretty forgettable with the exception of Cassidy & Finn. I gotta give a shout out to Brody though who reminded me of Seth Rogen Recommended to anyone that enjoys story driven games that pack an emotional punch. Absolutely gorgeous looking visuals and runs in 60fps except for cut scenes at 30fps to match the anime. Popular Post Intoner_Zero
Plat #141- Final Fantasy VII Wanted to take a trip down memory lane after playing the Remake demo, so here we are! I played this around a handful of times around a decade and a half ago, always liked playing through 2/3's of the game the most. I was always pretty amused how the dialogue is different depending on who you put into your party and impressed on how much materia you can acquire to make customized load outs. I did use speed up and God Mode when replaying, still ended up a little under 45 hrs lol. Getting Level 99 and making 99 million Gil is pretty useless, but oh well. Gotta get dem trophy gainz. Generally considered a classic RPG, if you haven't played it then I don't know what to tell you.(/ロ°)/ All in all, a nice refresher for when/if I get Remake. Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 219 - RESIDENT EVIL 3 REMAKE Okay this one deserves an actual feedback. After the outstanding remake of Resident Evil 2, Capcom decided to remake another iconic entry from their beloved series. The result is a game that can't fully reach the praised it deserves because of how rich in content REmake 2 was. Let's face it, the source material from the original game was already very limited, sure it had an awesome mercenaries mode, but the actual story was really short, specially compared to RE2. In the end, RE3 remake is an incredible experience nonetheless, even if some parts were left behind among the ashes of Raccoon City. Badass Jill sends her regards. for now, So Long RC!! I'll miss you!
