Popular Post insaneeeRob
Platinum Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered So... here's UC2 plat. This was a little bit easy than the first UC but with more chapters and crazy fights. The same as the other games, search all the collectibles, gun trophies, speedrun trophies, etc... Chapter 23-24 were so damn long and it took me like 2 hours to complete. I had a few bugs in certain chapters but the most impressive (the one that saved me) was that Lazarevic pushed me into a tree and I got stuck without space to shoot the blue things but thankfully I got left a tiny space between the tree to shoot the blue explosives and I finished the game, thanks UC for that lol. Now it's time for my fave in the entire saga... UNCHARTED 3.

Popular Post Mr_Fluffy_Pants_
157 - Gun Crazy Contra clone by ratalaika. As you’d expect it’s a very easy platinum. I liked the colors and the visual style. Someone told me it’s a megaman clone but I think it’s more of a contra or gun star heroes type game, although obviously not up to the quality of those. 156 - Mothmen 1966 (PS5) I enjoyed this one. Light horror game done in the style of an old DOS adventure game. Really wish it was cross buy because I’d do the ps4 version as well but not sure if I want to buy the same game twice lol. If you like horror or old DOS games definitely check this one out. Very short though, half hour platinum with guide.
Popular Post Redgrave
#281: Masters of the Multiverse - Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart I recently got PS Extra on discount and figured I would use it as an opportunity to play this among other games since I definitely wasn't going to spend $70 on this even though I figured it would have been fine. Either that or wait until it goes on PS Plus in who knows how long. But yeah it's a pretty decent game with a lot of fun weapons to use and the gimmicks in each level made every level feel like there was something new in them. I think the only downside is I felt like the game could have been bigger but what's there is good enough for what I paid for with Extra. On top of that it also made me wish we could at least get Resistance remasters more since Insomniac know how to make fun weapons to use and a couple of the weapons reminded me of the ones used in those games. The trophies are also pretty simple with only really needing a guide for the collectibles. I kind of wish there was a NG+ trophy since I would have liked to make the weapons more powerful but you only have to play up to the first weapon vendor to get the final two weapons you need.

Popular Post Spageos
#31: Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires This one is brutal to finish mainly because it requires multiple checklists and save files to actually manage. It has some frustrating things that are hard to obtain like "Prize Pick" and "Stormy Life" which both alone take at least an hour and they are just two of many, many things that must be acquired. Along with other annoyances like being locked out certain ways of life while playing if you make the wrong decisions at the wrong time. And as much as I love DW8 and DW8XL, this game never quite hit home with me like some of the other Empires titles but it's still a decent enough warriors title so I felt the need to complete it. I'm just glad it was the last mainline DW game that I needed to platinum.

Popular Post ChilledBrandon
The Ultimate Survivor Earn every Trophy in the game -------------- Really enjoyed this game, It's been sitting in my backlog for a long time now. Whilst the graphics are a tad outdated, I think it more than makes up for it with the atmosphere. There's not enough games out there set in London, especially horror games. It really shines with its level design. My only gripe is the difficulty trophies don't stack, I think playing through this game 3 times was a bit too excessive as there's not really anything different between the modes, only Permadeath on the hardest. Whilst I had a good time with it, I wasn't overly thrilled with having to go through it on a lower difficulty just to get the platinum personally, after already doing Normal and Survival. I will say that I'd definitely recommend that route still, after playing through it twice you should have a good feel for the game and can essentially speedrun through it, which makes getting that last trophy not so bad.
Popular Post parkerdip
#92 - Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Remastered (PS4) First trophy - 12th March 2016 Platinum - 19th June 2023 Time taken 7 years, 3 months Finally finished up the whole Uncharted remastered trilogy with this one. I was put off for a long time by the crushing trophies but decided to try it and wasn’t as bad as I feared. I would say this was more challenging than uncharted 2 in my opinion but not as hard as uncharted 1. There was some crazy difficulty spikes in this one. I have to credit a YouTuber I found that helped me out with crushing called Square One Games. He has a guide on every chapter of the whole trilogy with perfect strategies on where the best positions are on each section with commentary. Highly recommend. The guide was for brutal difficulty that was added in to this trilogy but the platinum is enough for me. I still have the ps3 versions of these games without platinum and now I’ve done it before maybe I will go backwards and finish them off but for now I need a break from uncharted and got uncharted 4 and lost legacy still to work on finishing. This is also my 3rd platinum of the month and 6th of 2023.

I've forgotten how close to the SNES games it was compared to FFI. Never did play FFIII since that one didn't come stateside until many years later. Not sure what game will be next. FFIII will be after that. ?
Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair (#1,229) - PS4 "Plan Beaten" It has been a very long while since I've posted on here. Figured it would do me good to do a post mortem more often. Somehow I fell for Yooka-Laylee once again. First it was the 3-D platformer a few years back. Almost immediately, I found it kind of large, empty, and soulless. It felt like the obvious emulation of Banjo-Kazooie with none of the charm. More recently, I have been craving 2-D platformers. The bar was set pretty high with Rayman Legends last year. I know it would be unreasonable to expect another game to have the same kind of flair, challenge and reward of Legends, I was hoping to find a worthy distraction. This game, once again, felt empty and soulless. There is some story about mind-controlled bees and the typical trope of collecting coins and feathers and tonics to progress thru the game. After the first few levels, hunting down the coins was a chore. I did not want to go thru the same level again to see what secret entrance I could have missed. Each level felt pretty tedious to just traverse. I must admit, I did enjoy trying to figure out how to trigger the alternate version of each chapter. Sometimes it was really obvious, others took a bit of puzzle solving, which I did find rewarding. The likely deal breaker for most would be the final level. A long gauntlet of platforming and boss battles with a finite amount of hits. After a few practice runs, I managed to get thru the whole thing in a single try, but I can see how it could be infuriating to a lot of players. The platforming sections have a few cheap sections that either you time perfectly or take a hit or two. The boss battles are the typical rhythmic attack sequences that you can read or potentially even memorize. Unfortunately, outside of those little puzzles, this game felt like breathing recycled air. It is telling that I could not derive much enjoyment from the former developers of some of my beloved platformers of years past. Somehow, I did enjoy stuff like Marsupilami: Hoobadventure and Kaze And The Wild Masks. It may be time to face the facts that I just have to pick up Rayman Origins.
Popular Post Mr_Fluffy_Pants_
158 - Dredge PS5 Really enjoyed this game, maybe my favourite one I’ve played this year. Very original. Has the addictive “one more day” type gameplay that reminds me of an old harvest moon game or stardew valley. Also I love how you don’t need a guide for this really. If you just explore the map (which isn’t very large) you will no doubt bump into all the side quests you need to do, and the different wharfs you need to find. For catching every fish the game tells you which ones you have and which ones your missing, where to find them and what time of day to find them at. This was very refreshing when compared to say stardew valley or story of seasons where you constantly need lists and guides to keep track of what things you’ve done and need to do. My only complaint is I wish it was longer, so you know you enjoyed a game when that’s your only complaint lol I really hope they make some dlc for this one. Think I will definitely do the ps4 version as well and platinum this gem twice. Edited June 20, 2023 by Mr_Fluffy_Pants_

Genre: Action, Adventure, Shooting, Death, Bloody, Hack and Slash and Beat em up. Playtime Hours: 91 hours and 10 minutes. Grind Difficulty: 9/10. Platinum Time: 3 weeks and 2 days. Devil May Cry 5: Nero's Unpaid Child Support Summary. Before I explained hahahahaha lol. I thought it would be hilarious to add "Nero's Unpaid Child Support" extra title to it and you know what? I just did it anyway. Now then, where do I exactly begin this entail turn of events. Well let me explained on how I move quick from the start. You see that I have been gathering over more then 9,000,000+ Red Orbs before starting the game on Devil May Cry 5 PS5. I have bought them from the PS Store. It did took me a little while but patience and all that was ultimately paid off. I don't like waiting for far too long and I wanna get this shit down and over with. It has been quite the long journey for me and again it was well worth the effort and everything else came to fruition. Upgraded Weapons and Fully Upgraded Everything On All Characters. Well like I said guys. I have collected and quite the mass over more then 9,000,000+ Red Orbs in order for me to fully upgraded on ALL 4 characters: Nero, Dante, Vergil and V. Vergil's quick hand on swords and Beowulf was pretty much the execution of judgment and his quick way was faster then Nero's handmade power of gadgets. Dante's almost got everything fully upgraded and loaded on both defence and offence and can instantly skewer enemies right down the middle and including bosses as well. I won't minced or sugared my words on Dante's excellency skills of being a legendary devil hunter. Nero's gun was quite impressive considering on much charges it can powered up at the max and can do quite the heavy damages on enemies and bosses. Quick and Painless I must say. Nero's power gadgets was very effective and useful to get a better grasp and executing enemies in a different ways of killing them perfectly and also combining his devil trigger transformation was much more effectived as well. V's pet monster was much easier to used and better long range attacks on enemies and having V finishing the final blow on enemies and bosses. It's a quick and fast way to butchered them down entirely. All S Ranks Difficulties and Bloody Palace Summary. Here's the deal guys. I have been going through hell and fucking hell when mastering on ALL S Ranks difficulties except HOH and LDK. I didn't think I would pull this off on those assholes but ultimately in the end. I have done it. The worst difficulties that I had a hard time with was Dante Must Die and Hell and Hell. Honestly, it was an absolute fucking tortured to me and I have to say it was quite the brutal fight to the death and managed to got all those S Ranks done and done. Those other difficulties such as Human, Devil Hunter and Son of Sparda wasn't too bad at all. It was easy and very fast for me to get the job done. It almost gave me a headache but I didn't give up. Somehow, I do feel really happy that I got it done. Bloody Palace was challenging but not impossible and I always have a way and planning it out on how to beat on all 101 stages completely. They were easy and great worthy fights but those Red Wolves (AKA Fury) was annoying and I didn't know how to counterattack those bitches but each time they used their red glowing claws and that's how I managed to counterattack their attacks quickly. Platnum Trophy! Nero's Final Assault! Back to Life Trophy! Obedience Training Trophy! Man on a Mission Trophy! Slick Moves Trophy! A New Job Trophy! Time for me to do another Devil May Cry 5 Platinum Milestone. Highly and strongly recommend this game! Next 1250th Platinum Milestone Goal: Devil May Cry 5 PS4. I enjoyed the game, it is the typical Ubisoft open-world videogame, so I know how it works. It was a fun time playing this!
