Popular Post Arzoden
------------- PLATINUM #105 | Marvel's Spider-Man ------------- Had great fun with this game, i was very invested in the story and most of the characters. Great storytelling with great humor! The gameplay was very smooth and enjoyable, the only thing i really had any problems with was the taskmaster drone challenges when it comes to getting the ultimate tokens. But with some patience and practice i managed to get them all in the end The bases & prisons you need to take out as part of the 100% completion rate reminds me a lot of Far Cry and outposts and i love those games so this has a good familiar feeling too it The slighty grindy part would be to do all the crimes, there is quite a few in each area so getting them all will take you a while. I don't have much else to say other than that it's a good game and i am excited to be playing the DLC's Took me around 30 hours to get platinum (Almost no cutscene skips) Edited June 17, 2023 by Arzoden

Popular Post reaperveteran86
Platinum #344 Summer in Mara (EU) Guardian - 46,09% Cute fetch quest simulator/Story of Seasons clone with Wind Waker influences (the game plays on different islands that can be traversed by boat). The game was fun and the setting/gameplay was relaxing. I just don`t get, why they choose the sad reaction picture of the heroine for the platinum image. Platinum #345 Clid the Snail Dark fable - 25,47% A slower paced (shorter) twin stick shooter set in an post apocalyptic world, where humans are extinct and the animals have form little ethno states and are threatened by a invasion of slugs. The atmoshere of the game reminded me a lot of Biomutant (without the narrator) and the story has a few dark turns and references to a few past events that sounds really fucked up. Spoiler For example: during a famine, the hedgehogs where genocided by the guinea pigs. Platinum #346 Gun Crazy (EU) Platinum Gun - 93,29% I bought this dirt cheap in the recent sale and hoped, that this would be more like Metaloids: Origins (a decent Mega Man clone with a somewhat challenging trophy list) instead it was more like Metagal (a decent Mega Man clone where you only have to play the first two levels to get the platinum). The graphics are nice and reminded me of a GBA game but the game is really easy, as it let you continue at the point of your death if you lose a life and gives you infinite continues. Popular Post Darghel
#185: Divine Force (Star Ocean: The Divine Force) Difficulty: Grindy and annoying Time to Complete: around 90 hours Recommended: maybe on discount Total score: 6.5/10 I remember my first time playing a Star Ocean, Till the end of time on ps2. Back then action jrpgs weren't as common as today, turn based was THE deal, and besides Tales games - which basically didn't exist in europe, because we suck - SO3 was one of the few action jrpgs that I was really hyped about. Even if the plot twist was one of the dumbest I've seen in gaming history. Still, I loved the game, and that's what kept me with them: even if their plots aren't stellar, their characters being stereotypically silly, and still having 1% sci-fi and 99% fantasy setting, I really love the Star Ocean series. More than final fantasy if I may add, because I know I'm gonna have fun with the game! And so Star Ocean the Divine force was announced, I was curious because by the looks of it the game seemed fine - better than 5, which I never managed to finish - and I can't lie that I really wanted to see if this game was any better. So after waiting for a big discount - hey something that square never disappoints at least! - I got it and...yeah it's definitely an improvement. But it has its issues too, as all Star Ocean games do. First things first, combat was fun enough. It's reminiscent of Ys this time around, with just dodges and free jumping, and also from other games: AP gauge is basically Berseria's gauge where you gain more if you do certain things and lose it if you get hit (more on that later). Free exploration of the environment is also reminiscent of Ys, 9 to be particularly honest, and it's fun: I really enjoy flying around and gliding to find items. Same thing for the map: it shows the map via a scanner, something that Ys does in their recent games. The game is fun so far. The game also lets you choose a character to start with, just like SO2, and it does give some insight on the story from a different point of view. Even though Raymond's PoV felt the most consistent of all and, in all fairness, this could've been omitted and just have the scene jump between the two characters. Xillia did this better in my opinion. And lastly the...story? Do I have to talk about the story of a Star Ocean? Well okay: it's a story that happens in a fantasy world and with sci-fi elements. Bad guy gets defeated and that's it. The divine force is not even explained. And frankly, it's just useless to think about it. The characters were okay. Sadly I really, really need to let out some things that were more than questionable because, of the many inspiration they took from, they failed on the basic premise of such idea: improving upon it. Combat is not bad but the AP system is probably the worst system in the entire franchise: you basically don't have normal attacks and special skills, ALL attacks are special skills and you chain them through a combo. Most skills are pretty boring and you'll be using Raymond's starting combo for the rest of the game (which I did) and maybe experiment a little with the rest until you realize that it doesn't matter much. Worst of all, AP decreases if you get hit too many times and it can be only raised (up to 15) by absorbing damage via the drive (basically levitation) or by blindsiding enemies. The system would be nice if the shield was easier to control and the blindside worked on every enemy, which the game tells you that it might ont work, and on top of that if you reload a save file you start with 5 AP again. I just...why couldn't have they simply upgraded AP to a static number instead?! Why make it so complicated to raise AP? I legitimately don't get this and this system is basically copied from Berseria, a game I loved so much that it's still one of my favorites of all time despite its flaws. And you know what flaws both this game and Berseria have in common? THEIR COMBAT <BLEEPING> SUCKED! Combat has also another issue with the "aggro", which is an issue I hardly - if ever - seen fixed in any action jrpg I have played: enemies will always aim toward your character - ALWAYS - and this can be annoying for several reasons: you can't use magic users as their spells will be constantly interrupted (hello Tales of!), enemies will stunlock you with THEIR spells and potentially kill you, and because you have the entire gang going after your character, in the end, you're forced to kite them so that your team does damage instead, meaning that I often had to use Nina, the only character who doesn't attack properly, to kite and heal whenever I needed. This is so annoying and I have yet to see an action game where they just don't have enemies stunlocking your character to death. Either have an aggro system or just have their attacks randomized! Next, is the talent tree...or at least it would be a tree if it was shaped as one and full of talents if there were any: it's just an overcomplicated version of a skill tree from many other games before (Digital Devil Saga 2 comes to mind) but you gain passives for the most and a few skills and abilities. Frankly they should've just made it automatic considering other games before did this better. Or at least have an automatic mode where you just press a button and automatically distributes SP alone. Doing this for 9 characterscan get tedious Crafting is also another tedious thing in this game, which isn't a surprise but you'd think they would improve upon it at one point! Well at least you can do it anywhere, which is something! Doesn't really alleviate the fact that it's pure RNG and one of the trophies is about creating 90% of the items available in the game. It is quite frustrating to say the least, especially if you come from games like Atelier, where crafting is super fun and really easy to grasp, whereas in this game is all about spamming one item until you get what you want. Add a super strict limit of 20 (!!!) for any materials you carry, and you'll see yourself going all over the galaxy just to refill your stocks of stones and metal. I guess asking for 99 is too much. And lastly, the game is not stable: I played the ps5 version and not only it crashed me several times while loading a new area but it drops CONSTANTLY on frame rates. This is inexcusable, especially when you go into certain areas and cities and the framerate drops really bad. And while the exploration is fun and opens some nice exploration shortcuts and such...well ys 9 did it better on every aspect as you can do more than just gliding. I would comment on the story but I only have one real critique about it: it takes nearly 20 to 30 hours to get the plot going, meaning that for those first hours nothing really happens and you'll just expect something important to happen. The big ball beside you? No idea what it is! Who's the one after you? "shrug". Why are those horned people after you? Eh, wait 10 more hours! I finished the first playthrough in about 50 hours and that's mostly due to side content, with another 20 for the postgame and crafting shenaningans. My second playthrough took me 15 about hours, probably slightly more due to the constant reloading for endings. Bottom line, this game is not great, it's really unpolished in certain aspects, the combat could have been better, the story is boring and i kept getting crashes! And yet...I can't really say I disliked it. Sure it might have a lot of flaws but at least I managed to finish it! Unlike 5 which still can't manage to get through! It's not the best Star ocean in the series, or the best action jrpg around, but I can't deny that I had fun with it, the character interactions are genuinely fine and some of them are very well done too (Midas and Melkya interactions are adorable, Nina comes out as more mature than I thought, and Albaird ends up being deeper than I thought). Raymond and Laeticia have also a nice chemistry and for once I enjoyed playing the role of two characters who are somewhat capable. Raymond is clearly no Edge Maverick and I'm thankful for that! Do I recommend it? On discount yes, I think it's a fine purchase if you can get it cheaper, although trophy wise it's a pain and might deter you if you're not into grinding mats and replaying the game twice (did I mention that there is no NG+?). Otherwise I'd just recommend to get Ys IX instead. or VIII which is a REAL divine force to be reckoned with. Popular Post ZitMeatloaf
The official logbook of the universe will show that I've obtained 5 more platinums. Law books across the multiverse therefore require an update to be posted to this thread. #151 - Riders Republic "King of the hill" Difficulty: 4.5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Very similar to Steep regarding the winter mountain sports on offer, with the addition of downhill mountain bike and road bike races, and bike tricks. It's a very fun game and the trophy list is more forgiving than Steep's. Difficulty is based mostly on capturing 30 districts in the tricks battles; it feels really random at first and if you're up against a team of veteran players, sometimes it can feel like you'll never capture any districts. But with some practice and familiarization with the maps, towards the end of the grind I was able to consistently capture between 1 and 3 districts per battle, so it wasn't so bad. The biggest hurdle towards the platinum in this game is the grind of completing 50 Mass Races. I can see a lot of players giving up at the thought of doing this after completing the first few, because they can't be completed quickly. Races are only available every 30 minutes, and take about 13-16 minutes to complete... which leaves you with about 15 minutes of mostly useless time in between races, if you've already completed everything else in the game. It's not very practical to jump into a different game for only 15 minutes to pass the time while you're waiting for the next mass race. To make things worse, sometimes the connectivity will glitch and you'll get kicked out of the race and that race won't be counted. This is most frustrating when you've joined and you're waiting for the race to start, but get kicked before the race even begins. You can't rejoin that race (you'll get an error message that you've already joined), and it's another 30 minute wait for the next race. Grrrrr ?. #152 - Unpacking (PS4) "All Moved In" Difficulty: 1.5/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 I'd already played the PS5 version of this game and hadn't really thought about playing the PS4 version... until I was playing Riders Republic and needed something to do in 15 minute increments while I was waiting for mass races ?. Most games aren't very conducive to playing for only 10 to 15 minutes at a time, but this one is. I enjoyed it the first time around, so figured why not play it again and get another plat. Satisfying sounds abound. #153 - Sackboy: A Big Adventure "Big Adventurer" Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 An excellent 3D platformer in the style of Super Mario 3D world, with some truly fantastic music levels sprinkled in. It's a very happy game that will have you smiling throughout... until you attempt the Ripsnorter. At first you'll think "I've done all these challenges before, how hard can it be?" Then you'll get hit or fall after you're 5+ minutes into a run... then you'll get hit or fall after you're 8+ minutes into a run and smiling time is over. Then you'll finally finish the Ripsnorter, get the platinum, feel very happy and the smile will come back one last time. #154 - Stick Fight: The Game "Xiao Xiao" Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 I played this game for the A-Z Platinum Title challenge (there aren't very many "X" options available). It's a fun stick figure fighting game, but is very glitchy. It's glitchier on PS5 and many of the trophies will only pop when playing on PS4.. and even then it's iffy. I found that many of the trophies can only be earned in online matches, so boosting is highly recommended. #155 - Lost Words: Beyond the Page "Platinum Guardian" Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 So I was in one of those situations where you're nearing completion of one game (in my case, Metroid Prime Remastered), and you're about to embark on a truly massive game (in my case, LoZ: Tears of the Kingdom), but you still want a secondary game to play. When looking for a secondary game to play in that situation I don't want to start anything too long or difficult. I came across this game and found it to be unique and moving. It deals with the death of a loved one (and the emotions we all feel when that happens) in a cathartic way, and it does so with some unique gameplay ideas. Not exactly a happy game, but a very good game.

Popular Post MrGarland
Platinum #160 Crash Bandicoot 4: It's about Time (PS5 version, no auto pop) Difficulty: 9/10 Playtime: 54 hours Enjoyment: 8/10 (excluding perfection relics and platinum relics) Here it is. The game that I've been referring to at least twice. If you guessed this and the upcoming game in this series, you were correct. I completed the PS4 version of this game two years ago, after an incredibly long and frustrating journey, but at least I made it. In case you want to read my overall thoughts about this game, as well my journey I had back then, you can do so here. Otherwise, I'll be focusing on this version. I will repeat myself a bit, but it won't be super long, like the first time doing it. I've already covered a large chunk of my thoughts and experiences before. That being said, let's start. First things first, what got me doing this again, even though doing it for the first time broke me and caused a lot of frustration? I had two reasons for that. First, the video from Caddicarus, where he sums up the game perfectly. I've watched it a few times, and I agree with what he says. However, the major reason why I chose to do this again was when I saw this thread and what I said there. Since then, I've been dreading the day when I'm going to do it again. Having accomplished that, I might as well say one thing right away. Compared to the first time doing this, it wasn't too bad, since they fixed one of the most annoying flaws the PS4 version had, with that being the riding levels. That being said, it's still riddled with glitches that are more or less fun. However, when compared to the first time, I didn't encounter them that often. Well with one exception, but I'll get to that in time. When it comes to the PS5 version, it goes without saying that it's the superior one, but in case you want to know how good it is, I'll tell you. The game looks great, it runs even smoother than the PS4 version and best of all, they got rid of those long load times, which made the platinum more annoying. Now, they only last about a few seconds, which are on par with the classic trilogy for the PS1. With all that being said, it's time to cover a couple of things about the journey I had in this version. Since I've talked about some of the levels before, I'm only going to talk about a few specific levels. Perfection relics These, along with the platinum time trial relics, are the reason what makes the platinum incredibly difficult. Having to restart from the beginning just because you lost a life, or you missed a box, becomes very repetitive. Even though it was slightly easier than the first time, replays always suck. Draggin' On - Getting the blue gem from this level was incredibly hard when doing it for the first time. When it was time to do it again, it went much better as I broke a crate once and that happened near the end of the level. It's still a pain to pull off, though. At least I managed to clear the bonus stage much easier. Off-Balance - Worst hidden boxes in the game. Enough said. Ship Happens - Notice something strange? Yes, the clock. I have no idea why is it there. Bears Repeating/Building Bridges - When it was time to redo these levels, I feared them for one reason. It's easy to miss boxes in the riding sections. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they actually fixed them. Thank God. Crash Landed - It wasn't the riding section that gave me trouble. It was the blue gem route, as well as the bonus stage. The image below will say that much. The Crate Escape - I probably don't have to say why I included this one, though I will say that this was the only level where I had to get the perfection relic from the N. Verted version. Only needed a few attempts. Toxic Tunnels - Screw the colored gem route. I spent more time on that than on the rest of the level. Cortex Castle - Still has the best end section. However, reaching that point without deaths took me a while. Seeing Double - This was easily the most infuriating level to get the perfection relic, and it's only because of one reason. The first two bats will sometimes glitch and they won't move at all, meaning that you can't advance further. If the first one doesn't glitch, the second one will likely do. It was annoying the first time, so when it was time to do it again in this version, I was wondering if I'd encounter the same glitch again, and it didn't take too long to get the answer. One time I got so unlucky that the first bat glitched at least 5-6 times in a row and I had to keep restarting till I got lucky enough. Another section that I find rather annoying is this. That jump and dash from the moving platform to the other side, while making sure that I don't get hit by the electric orb fired by that robot was bs. All you can hope is that all the stars align and you get the best possible timing. If you're a split-second too slow, you're done. After about an hour worth of restarts, I got all the luck I needed and managed to clear it perfectly. Screw this level, minus the second half, which is still awesome. Flashback levels These levels are easily one of the best features in this game. Besides the great amount of dialogue for each level, the fact that they use the music from the PS1 games is awesome. One thing, though. Where's the music from Warped? Since this is a direct sequel to that, it'd make sense to use at least 1-2 songs from that, but no. Bandicoot vs Wombat Eval - I only have one thing to say about this level. What the hell is happening in the background? What's Cortex planning to do with all those sheeps? N. Gin's N.Genious N.Bouncers - Same problem exists in this version as well. I'm talking about singular Nitro bounce crate (lower one) in the middle. Sometimes, when I tried to hit it from below, it didn't activate. Platinum relics I said it once and I'll say it again. The Triple Spin sucks. Not only is it pain for your thumb, but the sound from button-tapping gets incredibly annoying. Same goes for spinning. I usually had to mute everything, in order to stay focused, but only if I died too many times in a row. While most of the levels weren't too bad, there were a few levels that proved to be rather annoying. Besides those, I'm going to include a few levels that I had an easiest time with. Jetboard Jetty - Three attempts. For a level that's long and not exactly easy, I managed to get the platinum relic surprisingly fast. Out for Launch - Two attempts. That's how much I needed before I managed to get the platinum relic, and I have no idea how that was possible. Probably because I played Shipping Error before this, which was a far more annoying level. Rock Blocked - In the PS4 version, it took me five hours before I made it to the end, making it the worst platinum relic for me. This time, I only needed two. I also managed to get through some of the sections in Dingodile's half much easier, like blowing the first gate in one go, instead of wasting too much time. That being said, having to replay the first half whenever I failed got very tiresome. As for the second half, be aware that the glitch at the start of the second half still exists. Fortunately, I experienced that twice. Toxic Tunnels - The hardest level also had the hardest platinum relic. It took me at least three hours before I finally got it. Before that, I reached the end at least four times, only to lose just barely. Before I conclude this, I thought I'd mention a couple of things. Last time I said that just getting the platinum wasn't going to be enough, and I wanted to achieve something else, with these being the following: No auto pop. As hard and annoying as achieving the platinum was, auto popping wouldn't be satisfying. I've done a few of those, but for this one, I had to make an exception. It required a lot of effort, but the result was worth it. Clear it much faster than the first time. When I watched the video from Caddicarus, he also showed his time for 106% completion (68 hours). After seeing that, I decided that I'd beat my completion time from the PS4 version, which was around 103 hours or so. I haven't checked or downloaded my save file, so I can't say that for sure, but that's what I remember about it. The question is, how much I managed to shave off? The answer is shown below. You are not reading that wrong. Completing the PS5 version took me 54 hours, which is much faster than I expected. I could've done it in under 50 hours, but because of everything I said about Toxic Tunnels and Seeing Double, I didn't make it. Not that it's a loss or anything, I'm satisfied with this. Obtain at least three purple relics. When I finished the PS4 version, I mentioned in the platinum post that I managed to get one purple relic but got close to doing so in two other levels. Did I manage to get them this time? As a matter of fact, yes. Not only that, but I managed to record them, just so I can show my victory. The following three were the only ones where I managed to get the purple relic from. On some levels, they might be possible with some practice, but for most of them, they're impossible. Then again, it doesn't matter. I'm happy with what I got. Spoiler The first one is the easiest of the three. Last time, I managed to beat the developer time in this level just barely, but things went better this time. Only needed about 15 minutes before I got it. I also popped a trophy after I finished this, but it's not shown. The second one is also easy, aside from those two sections with bats carrying Nitro crates and they are something that I had to do carefully. Once I got past that, the rest is very easy. Also, you can probably see that I was being careful near the end when I reached those Nitro crates, but only because I lost a mask. Completing this took me about 20 minutes. I'm also satisfied with my current rank this run gave me. The third and final one, while beating the developer time wasn't hard, reaching the end was. So many sections where things can go wrong and there are just too many of them. For me, the most troublesome sections were those knights in Akano's section and flipping the gravity in Ika-Ika's section. I tried using a speerunning technique to clear the latter one faster, but it usually failed with me touching the laser in the ceiling which results in instant death, no matter what. In total, it took me at least 1,5 hours before I finally got to the end. One of the attempts ended really close, but at least I didn't get mad. When I finally did it, it was 2 am and I was ready to call it a day. Before that, I watched the 106% ending, giving me the platinum trophy in the process. Also, if you're wondering why I moved to Bermugula's Orbit, it's because I wanted to listen to the song in that dimension a bit. Of all the songs used in the dimensional map, that one is my favorite, thus I wanted to give this game a proper goodbye. Well, I suppose that covers it. Bottom line, it's the best Crash game in recent years. Like I mentioned two years ago, it's fun if you play casually. However, if you choose to go for the completion, prepare to be tested. Both skill and patience-wise. Despite all the knowledge I had, it wasn't enough for some of the levels. With a lot of luck and skill, I managed to get the platinum from this game again. Let's just hope that I don't have to do anything as frustrating as this never again. Oh, and before it slips my mind, here's a little bonus. It's something that I forgot to bring up the first time, so I'm going to fix that and do it now. Spoiler Rest in peace. To me, he was the one and only Aku-Aku. No other person has managed to do the role as perfectly as he did. The way "Holboga" is said in the PS1 classics and a couple of other games was perfect. Also, hearing it for the first time as a kid was fun and whenever I hear it in those games, it makes me nostalgic. Next project: Crash Team Rumble's release is just around the corner. The question is, am I excited? As someone who grew up with the PS1 Classics, it pains me to say this, but I'm somewhat excited. That being said, I won't start when it's released, since I don't know what to expect from it. I'll wait a while, read a couple of reviews and then I'll decide when I'm going to start it. As for what I'm going to play next, it probably goes without saying what game it's going to be. After all the shit I went through platinuming this game, I'm done with hard platinums for a while and instead, I'm going to play something that I consider as relaxing. Yes, it's time for me to finally jump into the lovely world of: Spoiler Edited June 22, 2023 by MrGarland

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#654 - Anno Mutationem (PS5) Fun little Action game that has a decent length. Combat is a bit simplistic and always takes place in 2D, which I don't mind. THere are some hacking mini-games (the final main one is somewhat annoying), a good amount of loot and some collectibles. It's one of those games that's partially voiced, limited to the main plot. Has some FPS issues on PS5. Enjoyment: 7 Difficulty: 3 (because of some of the hacking minigames)
Popular Post Anke
First time posting to this thread but I was particularly chuffed with this one. I was challenged by a friend to go for this and whilst I swore their name many many times this was a sweet one to finally pop. Trackmania Turbo - Trackmaster Difficulty 8/10 - practice and persistence will get you through. Edited June 18, 2023 by Anke

Popular Post Carol
#235 Kena: Bridge of Spirits All Trophies Obtained Obtained all Kena: Bridge of Spirits trophies. This game was wonderful and I really enjoyed my time with it. It’s beautiful in every way (graphics, story, animations…). If, like me, you like games with forests and lakes, then this game will be a delight to play. I liked the gameplay too and exploring for the collectibles. New gameplay elements were introduced often, keeping the game interesting. The bosses, even on Normal difficulty, were challenging, but still fair and satisfying to beat. The platinum was easy, because after beating the game once, I used the glitch to get the Master difficulty trophy. The glitch was surprisingly easy to accomplish, even for someone as clumsy as I am.
Popular Post Swotam
#206 - Rise of the Tomb Raider (PS4) Platinum 6% Very Rare Another game that time rescued from the "I'm not going to Platinum that" pile. I originally played it back in 2018 and got all the trophies except the Score Attack (time trial) ones, mostly because I didn't really feel like replaying the entire game again while trying to get a gold score on every mission and tomb after having just finished the game and all the other trophy requirements, so I put it on the back burner and moved on. Five years and one month later, after finally getting Shadow of the Tomb Raider done, I decided to jump back in and work my way through the Score Attack mode in Rise, finally getting that done as well and obtaining Platinum in all Tomb Raider games in the Crystal Dynamics trilogy. Aside from the Score Attack stuff it's a straightforward and fun Platinum, and the game has an open-world design so you can clean things up without much hassle. If you have the time and patience to get it done then it's a generally enjoyable game. The entire series is essentially Lara Croft meets Uncharted, so if you like the adventures of Nathan Drake you'll probably enjoy these games as well. Personally I've found them enjoyable if not occasionally frustrating, and accompanying Lara on her journey from academic scrub to bad-ass tomb raiding goddess has been quite fun overall. This game, and the trilogy as a whole, are definitely worth experiencing if you like Uncharted-style adventure games. Some may say it's just more of the same, but if you like these things then more is a good thing.
Popular Post iinzane
#42: Assassin's Creed: Valhalla Personal Difficulty 2/10 PSNP Difficulty 4/10 Where to start with this game, Overall it is a alright game plastered with the assassin's creed name, the story is mediocre at best (although this being my second time playing through it) I didn't feel compelled to fully invest in the characters or really care about the outcomes with the false decisions making which doesn't change all that much rather than some speech and the ending speech with Sigurd. On to the actual Plat and for this game I am currently going for the 100% and I only have the dawn of ragnarok left to do however most of the game felt like the collectors role in RDR2 multiplayer which i found frustrating to say the least while also having the do all of the collectibles in the dlc maps when most of it is Wealth and being usless to me as I cant really use it anymore. If they had put more love in to the game and created a new IP for this game then I feel like more people would be open to playing it and enjoying it however that isnt the case, I just hope they dont make the same mistake with mirage
Popular Post setobox
Hitman 3 #56 World of Assassination Complete all 47 trophies. Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 I had a lot of fun with the conclusion of the World of Assassination trilogy. I didn't know that I would find a Hitman game fun but this game and the previous games were a lot of fun. Popular Post No longer here
#200 - Super Meat Boy (PS4/Vita) Rating/Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 10/10 Time: 91 Hours PSNP Rarity: 0.33% (Rarest trophy for me on website now ) PSN Rarity: 0.4% (How?!) For a while I didn't think I would push this far for a platinum, but I did. After Wolfenstein 2 which was a game I loved, that platinum took a lot out of me, and this one was no different. I am a fan of Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and I loved the art direction and design these developers bring. So I picked this up without the intention of platinum, but once I beat the game, took a break, and went back to the permadeath trophies! I played this game on Vita mostly and switching to PS5 for some of the harder levels. It ran really well on Vita and I got used to it, but for the harder levels with more point-pin and precise jumps, I had to switch to PS5 and it helped a lot tbh. Zombie boy and Impossible Boy were insane, Zombie took at least 14 hours and impossible boy almost 19 Hours total, literally spent almost a full day gameplay wise for them. Thank gosh for the Youtubers that have their speedrun guides up and helped me achieve the impossible. As for the game itself, it was quite a very fun ride. After the first few levels, the game clicked and the pacing ramped up in a good way. It can be a very fast platforming but the design, ost and characters are what make the game. All these factors are really memorable and valuable which is why I will always remember this game. Just like Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, the game is appealing because of the same reasons. These games can be dark in terms of this themes but it executes them well and made it entertaining for players. The OST is just as good as it was in Binding of Isaac (especially Cotton Alley) and made it immersive. The game's design is sweet too, while brutal, it is trial and error and can take time to finish a level, but the ost and eye candy design helps keeps you going. The characters are great and have different moves that can help you finish a level fast. As a matter of fact, the game encourages speed runs to get a A+ rank so you can do the "dark world" levels, which is a harder version of the level! The game has more content than you think, even the boss fights are fun challenges and the animation cutscenes can be great to watch as well! As much praise as I give this game, it is not perfect and imo I didn't enjoy everything about it. Some of the later worlds other than Cotton Alley, were not that appealing in design and repetition. I did not enjoy the trial and error for some of these levels, which made me a little frustrated. While the game ramps up in difficulty, it may seem extreme because of how less fun some of the later worlds are, so rather for me, it seemed more unforgiving for a couple days. As you unlock new characters and develop more methods for speedrunning a level, it gets better and more tolerable. However the time and difficulty to get there can be a drag or rather frustrating if anything. Imo the last world of the game (Cotton Alley) is my favorite because the design is top notch and it is rather fun to work your way through them. However it is the last world and will need to get past the other worlds I didn't enjoy much. it can be hard to build up momentum too, but it takes a while, I can see how most people can get frustrated about this too! Overall, the game was great despite some things near the end, I would advise anyone to play this game JUST for the game, but can't recommend the platinum unless you're a masochist lol. I am very proud to make this a milestone!
Popular Post Viper
#318 & 319 LEGO Harry Potter Collection True Wizard 10 Points to Gryffindor Not a lot to say about these...they're LEGO games, you've played one you've them all really. Plus being a little spoiled by Hogwarts Legacy, and that being the definitive Harry Potter lore experience, earlier this year didn't help much lol. Overall I did like the atmosphere of these games, and your typical abilities being replaced by spells you had to learn in classes between story missions was a nice touch. The collectable clean up wasn't bad either...in both games I got so much stuff in the Hogwarts open areas just in passing that once you have everything from free playing the story levels there wasn't a lot to go back to, so the game didn't feel like it bogged you down with trying to figure out a bunch of useless puzzles. One thing I didn't care for was that in Free Play in Hogwarts, you couldn't just switch to whatever character you wanted...you had to go find a Poly Juice potion cauldron to change into that character. Wasn't an issue when free playing story missions, the game did great always giving you someone with special abilities that you needed (Safe Key user, Dark Magic user, etc.), but in the open world it was unneeded tedium when you're just focused on one collectable to the next. I also would have liked if Years 5-7 allowed some kind of instant travel to Hogwarts instead of walking through alleys and the train and the back roads to get there. So yeah, if you like LEGO games you'll like these. Maybe they were groundbreaking for their time on Gen 7 consoles? I don't know...the Harry Potter aesthetic does lend itself well to doing things none of the other LEGO games were at the time. Oh and apparently they say these games are still highly likely to glitch on you, not giving you gold bricks and what not...I didn't have any issues what so ever, so I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Popular Post Darghel
#186: CONGRATULATIONS!!!! (Onee Chanbara Origin) Difficulty: Surprisingly easy, with a few annoying trophies Time to Complete: 19 hours Recommended: on sale only! Total score: 6/10 I was working on this game while playing Star Ocean 6, with the crafting grind "grinding" my nerves so I played this to cool myself off. Anyway, few months ago I platted Oneechanbara Z2 chaos and I saw this one on the store, thought "Cool, will be fun to slash zombies again" and here we are: it was on sale, and decided to snatch it before it ran off. And let me say that "good thing it was on sale" because it's not worth the asking price. This game is basically a remake of the first 2 games - the first was named Zombie Zone in Europe while the second was Japan only - so I can't really make comparisons to the other game because that's a sequel - but I might mention a few things here and there. Regardless, Onee Chanbara Origin is an enjoyable game, flashy and fast, and combat is surprisingly smooth and responsive - sometimes too responsive! - and I never had issues with the controls. The camera on the other way is annoying. The game has 3 characters to control, Aya (the protagonist), Saki (the second protagonist), and Lei/Rei which can be unlocked later if you do the 100 floors survival (Spoilers: she's not really worth it) and they all have their quirks even though I found Saki to be the strongest in general: her Triangle->Square->Square can pretty much annihilate anything, has a large aoe range, and it's very quick. Plus her Xstasy drive is one of the best for long range and it is better than the other, so in the end I kept her for the entire playthrough while Aya was my reserve. I don't know what to say here, besides the fact it's simply too short (the story mode can take 2-3 hours to finish WITH cutscenes), some levels can take literally seconds to complete (fastest was 27) and there's not really much of a story behind (who's Eva? What's the organization? No idea!). Oh and unless I've suddenly become a God of action games - which I'm not - this game is TOO easy to get a high score and I have NEVER gotten a rank beneath V (which is the highest). Even during my Beast/Violent Run I still got myself plenty of V ranks no matter how bad I was doing! Okay I lied: I finally got an A rank at the submission 11 on hard. And that's because I was lazy! In all fairness, the game is only hard for 3 reasons: having to beat 3 bosses on survival mode without getting hit. The bosses themselves aren't hard - heck, Oboro died almost immediately! - but a single mistake will force you to replay all floors before reaching the boss again. So if you accidentally get hit by Oboro then have fun climbing all 30 floors again! They're quick but that's another 30 extra floor of annoyance! Otherwise there's not much else to say: a bit of a grind here and there but it's doable, certainly much easier and simpler than Z2 chaos. There's not even a requirement to complete all quests and I'm thankful for that! Do I recommend it? Only if you can find it on discount, because the game doesn't have much to offer, it's too short, the sub missions are just an extra that isn't even that difficult to do, the shop is pretty barebone (no extra weapons or skills to buy), enemies lack variety and the leveling system is unnecessary. If i didn't go for its platinum I might be finished way earlier than now! It's still a fun game, just a shame is too short - and too pricy.
