Popular Post The Alchemist
#727 (+100%) Fallout 76 Platinum Trophy (5.49%) This has been on my to-do list for a few years now, with it being a goal of mine to complete some of the longer games from my backlog. Playing Fallout 4 again when it got a next-gen update, combined with watching the Fallout TV show gave me the itch I needed to finally get started on it. So there really isn't much point in talking about how the game was when it launched, not only because those issues are well-documented already but because it's a totally different game now, and indeed my own experience was a mostly positive one. While I didn't enjoy it as much as Fallout 4, it's a solid game in its own right with a ton of content and things to do. In many ways it is just Fallout 4 but online, so if you enjoyed that game then I can't see why you wouldn't also enjoy this. That being said, there are certainly aspects that are weaker in this entry. The main story isn't as interesting, and that isn't to say the story in Fallout 4 was amazing or anything but it was even more forgettable here. The DLC and expansion storylines mixed things up a bit and I think I enjoyed those more to be honest. The setting and game world were also a bit disappointing, with just a few memorable locations and cool things to explore. I was constantly finding neat little locations and stuff in Fallout 4, but here it all felt a bit samey. Despite the fact that Fallout 76 is online-only, and with the exception of some quick and easy PvP trophies, you don't ever have to interact with another player for as long as you play the game if that's what you choose, so it can become just like a single player experience if that's what you prefer. It might sound weird but I actually prefer online/multiplayer experiences like this, ones that give you the option of engaging with other players (or not). That being said, should you choose to engage with other players you'll have nothing but a good time, because the community in this game is amazing. Players will frequently help you out, carry you through events if you're underpowered, drop items and other goods for you, price their vendor goods really cheap to help new players etc. the list goes on. I was so surprised by how pleasant the community is especially when you compare it to some other online games. Something else I wanted to mention is the monetisation, specifically the subscription - Fallout 1st. You do NOT need to subscribe to this to enjoy the game to the fullest. The main benefit of subscribing is that you get access to a scrapbox, meaning you can store unlimited junk without taking up precious space in your stash. You get some other perks too but they really aren't great, definitely not worth the price of subscribing even for a single month. I reached max capacity in my stash a couple of times throughout my playthrough, but once I learned to be more efficient at keeping only what I needed it was no longer an issue and I was able to keep a good chunk of my stash free at all times. Setting up your vendor and selling any excess items also provides a good passive income, and in my experience, players are more than happy to buy your stuff, probably to help you out more than out of necessity of owing whatever it is you're selling. This can also help massively to keep your stash in check, so it's worth setting up your vendor as soon as possible. Overall I really enjoyed my time in Appalachia. Despite the story lacking somewhat and the setting not living up to expectations, I still had lots of fun with it. It can be a little overwhelming in the beginning but it doesn't take too long to get on your feet and get some good gear and weapons early on. The one thing I advise however, is to pick a build you want to play from the start. If you want to main rifles, or melee, or pistols or whatever, just go with that from the start so that you can start investing in the right perk cards. I figured this out a little too late and it took me a while to correct everything and get a build I was happy with. Your build really does matter a lot more in this entry, if not you will find it difficult to deal much damage and you will feel constantly underpowered. I rate the platinum a 3/10 difficulty, and the DLC the same. There wasn't really anything difficult, it's about on a par with Fallout 4 in terms of difficulty. Time wise I clocked in at 195 hours, which includes getting the 100% and all DLC done. I'm sure that figure could be cut down by a decent chunk, because I spent a good amount of time doing just about everything, including many things not required for trophies. Still, you're probably looking at a 100 hour plat minimum, and another 20+ hours for the DLC. So that's Fallout 76 done, along with both versions of Fallout 4. I have started Fallout Shelter, but that's a work in progress and it can hardly be classed as a proper Fallout game anyway. That only leaves Fallout 3 and New Vegas for PS3, both of which I own but for reasons I've mentioned in the past (bugs, performance etc.) I am unlikely to ever get around to. Fallout 5 is probably an entire generation away, so that essentially brings by Fallout journey to an end unless FO3 and NV get remastered or more preferably, remade. Sad it's come to an end (for now), but I've had a great time experiencing the series up to now.
Popular Post Dantes_994
HONKAI STAR RAIL The Moment of Whistle Blowing As the train whistles and departs, transcending the speed of light, human beings will travel among the stars. PLAT NO.34 FUN: 9.5/10 DIFFICULTY: 6/10 If you had told me, a year ago, that I would be praising a gatcha game... I've had an absolute BLAST playing this game! Downloaded it back in october when it launched, played it on and off until February, when I started playing in earnest. Oh Boy! What a ride! Over a 100 hours of playtime for a game I had spent 0$ on? Comparing that to open world snooze fests that have been launching left and right for the past decade, this game remains a real breath of fresh air. The music and the graphics have been the biggest surprise. It looks like a sci fi fairy tale with a soundtrack of a truly emotional adventure. My top 3 characters so far have been Trailblazer (yes I am surprised too) Black Swan Sparkle And While I do plan on making a prolonged break from the game, along with FF14, it is the only game I see myself coming back to over and over again. Other gatcha/multiplayer games just don't interest me. If you have been on the fence on whether you should play it or not, do! The story is great for the most part, the worlds interesting and lived in, the characters colorful and the whole experience is just pure, raw fun! The only minus of the game are places where you get artificially blocked by the game until you level a certain character in order to beat a boss. Currently stuck on Sunday and yeah... he can fuck off. The rest? 10/10
Popular Post dj_lalle
Disney-pixar Toy story 2: buzz lightyear to the rescue for me, what a trip Down memory lane, in a positive Way. The game is actually pretty decent for a game that came Out in 1999 and has aged pretty well. The graphics are pretty good for that time, and I really enjoyed the game more than I had hoped I would, I really liked the game back on ps1 and really liked being back in the franchise. The gameplay still kinda holds up, the only issue I had was the damn camera other than that nothing to put a finger on. Overall a really fun experience and alot easier than I remember, in my childhood mind this was a hard game now not so much Fun: 8/10 Plat diff: 1-2/10, nothing hard and if anything is missed you Can just play the level again and get it Time: 6 hours

Popular Post Biertje373
Platinum #102 SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake One Sponge to Rule Them All Fun: 8/10 Difficulty 2.5/10 Time: 15 hours So when I heard that they were making another SpongeBob 3D platformer I was pretty excited, because I really enjoyed Battle for Bikini Bottom, but when it came out I heard quite a bit of negativity so I never bought it and eventually forgot about it. Until it dropped on PS+ last month and I am so happy that it did because I had so much more fun then I expected. Let's talk about the individual stuff: This is a platformer as I said in the introduction, I always wish that there are more of them on the PlayStation, it's a genre I am not amazing at but I love the genre regardless. And the platforming in this game was really good, it was a lot of fun to get from point A to point B, it was fun to get more abilities, some would add to the platforming. It's for me the highlight of the game. The 8 worlds (I am including the hub world as one) were cool, they each had their own theme, their own story and their own final challenge. Something that's important to me about platformers is that they need variety that fit the game. And each had their own theme, some of them were a bit similar but that's not a bad thing, they all had something that made them unique. my favourite was probably the beach level. The bosses/final challenges were mostly cool, the ones that just had a challenge to catch someone or get somewhere were probably my least favourites, but they were unique for the game. The bosses were mostly fun, the one thing that made them annoying was that every boss added an extra challenge, get to the end in a few minutes, don't get hit or have the boss kill some random guys. Especially the don't get hit-challenges were a huge pain, I had 0 fun with the Pom Pom fight. But it made the platinum more challeging so I can respect that. So yeah, I had a good time with this game, it was charming, cute and a lot of fun. There are things that could've been different but that's with everything. I am just happy that I had fun and that I got to play another platformer. Hopefully there's going to be another SpongeBob platformer in the future. And here's the platinum screenshot:
Popular Post JungleCat20
Milestone Platinum 4,800 TWD: Destinies As a fan of the TV show, especially the earlier seasons, this game reminded me of of a game that would've been released on PS3 eleven or twelve years ago. Most of the original characters were present in the game but I very much missed "Andrea's" character. The controls were bad and the graphics not so great but it was fun picking different fates for the characters. As a game I wouldn't recommend unless you love TWD.

Popular Post KenjiCBZ
#138: Life is Strange 2 All Roads Traveled (41.78% - Uncommon) Unlock all Life is Strange 2 trophies. I enjoyed my time with the game and following the story of Daniel and Sean, even through I think that some things in the story don't make much sense. Spoiler on the ending I also didn't like the ending I got, the one where Sean dies, but considering there are several ending, pretty much everyone can be pleased, and I found my most favourite one, which is the one where Sean is arrested for 15 years. Overall I think the first game is superior by a mile because of how emotional it was, this game felt more "static", but it's still good to me. Trophies as usual are very easy: you just need to finish the game and to get every collectable. Thankfully, collectable mode is there so you don't have to make a second playthrough, but for some reason some cutscenes are unskippable so it takes a long time to reach the desired collectable, which was annoying. In fact, I think it took me more than a couple of hours to collect them all.

Popular Post Lord_of_Ra
#135 - Call of Duty: Black Ops - Platinum (3.68% UR) Awarded when all other trophies have been unlocked Personal stats: Enjoyment: 9/10 Community difficulty 7/10 - Personal Difficulty: 7/10 Would recommend? 10/10 What an incredible game. Easily one of the best CODs ever done, and overall an excellent shooter that I would recommend to anyone. The modes are pretty fun, witha more toned down gameplay from the arcade-style of Modern Warfare. Zombie mode is really tough and annoying, but nevertheless enjoyable. You can tell they were still starting out with the mode. And now let's talk about the campaign. So, what if I told you this story is like an oscar-winning action movie with memorable characters, excellent storytelling, plot twists, and a hell of a WHAT ending? Yep, all of that is on this game. The campaign is incredible, easily one of the best from COD series. Yet another testament on how the old CODs had far better stories to tell. Difficulty wise, the Campaign requires to always use the "snap-aim" technique to progress. You will die a LOT, and I mean possibly more than 100 times, which can be frustrating, but nevertheless there's only a few checkpoints that are pretty brutal on here. Overall, it's frustrating, but not necessarily hard or impossible to do. Zombies might be an RNG nightmare. The trophies themselves can range from easy to downright frustrating. This is because you need to get two very rare weapons from the mystery box, and oh boy, the RNG is many times not in your favor. On the other hand, it might be easy if you get it pretty early. It's all just luck based. Overall, a very enjoyable plat, with nothing too nightmarish to get, just somewhat frustrating, but the story is so good this is totally worth it. @Honor_Hand Tagging you for viz. Certified excellent COD and I cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend it. Special thanks to TGWaluigi and WichoFloresM for the online boosts! Cheers!

Popular Post BEAST_IHMOTEP
Thumper!! Very very proud of this platinum as I spent like 3 years thinking I would never get it. I played it back in the day and even did some S ranks but I used to think going for the platinum would be madness and I just jumped to other stuff. Returned to it a couple of weeks ago and managed to get all S ranks with a bit of patience and never give up attitude. Today it stands on my cabinet as my 3rd proudest platinum just behind Wipeout HD and Vanquish. Oh and the game is amazing by the way. Thanks to @seblegamer for recommending it to me almost like 4 years ago! 😆 Edited Thursday at 11:28 PM by BEAST_IHMOTEP

Popular Post Valzentia Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM #233 - MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune vs. Zombies (NA) Difficulty: 2/10 Fun: 7/10 One of the comically large amount of Neptunia spin-offs, this one follows an alternate universe Blanc, who is a high-school student, as she attempts to film a zombie movie for her film class at school...only for the girls to unleash real zombies into their world. It's a hack-and-slash title with the interesting caveat of featuring tag team gameplay, along with co-op which is inexplicably unnecessary for the platinum. Other than that, it's nothing really memorable. If you're a fan of the series, you'll enjoy the game, but if you didn't like Neptunia to begin with, don't bother. (Though now I want to see them in Call of Duty Zombies. lmao)

Popular Post kkulifay
Fallout 76 (PS4) Platinum + 100% DLC Time for completion: 113 hours I found this game to be wildly addictive and it certainly exceeded my expectations. Most of the time after I d earned a platinum, I’ll delete it to free up storage and store it in the vault (pun intended), but I plan on still playing it in my spare time especially since the developers are still actively supporting it with new content, even after nearly 6 years post the initial release. It’s a very polarized game with a strong cult following. As a Fallout fan, I highly recommend it, especially in its current state. To get 100% DLC + the platinum, expect a grind but it’s really not that bad. Going from level 1 to 100 never felt like a chore to me since there’s so much diversity to earn XP. Like others have praised, it probably has one of the nicest online community that I’ve ever been a part of. I’ve met a lot of cool randoms and the sweaty, lifers (saying that respectfully) really go out of their way to help elevate your character. I have countless stories of randoms dropping vital loot, or offer to run daily ops for legendary rewards, to carrying others in public events, etc. Polar opposite of joining a Rockstar server during GTA 5 online or RDR2 when others are just trying to sabotage your experience. Huge shoutouts to the following individuals: @HuntingFever and @Vault-TecPhantom for providing great advice and resources for beginners on various Fallout76 posts. Huge thanks to @PlatinumPee and @illumiMatty for being such terrific co-op vault dwellers. Had a blast running the expeditions together and knocking out the PVP trophies so efficiently. The auto-axe melee build with the electrified mod is a BEAST by the way. Never had to worry about ammo, resource management and it would slice through most foes like butter. Fun OP build that I encourage players to focus on. I don’t typically write long posts, but I lived in this world virtually for a bulk of my early summer, so I couldn’t hold back. Only game in my later years that I’ve played into 2 AM not even realizing it…… confession Lastly, have I ever mentioned before that I’m f’n terrified of clowns? spoiler alert: they got theirs
