Pretty much a warehouse job. Just picking and packing. Could have gotten full time but been stressed out with everything which is slowing me down at work.

In there warehousing industry there is no need to go full time, you get paid more by working as a casual for a few days a week lol. Plus if you ever find that they stop offering you shifts there are 10,000,001 other warehouses that are always looking for staff.

On a side note, I have an exciting announcement to make! I'd like for everyone to welcome Matt (MattyH16) into an administration role for the competition! He messaged me a few days ago about the possibility of doing something for the competition (which is actually the second time he asked, I knocked him back the first time a while ago ) and has some great ideas for growth and just making it a more inclusive community. Most of you have probably noticed that I'm no around as much as I'd like to be which has kind of been holding the competition back a bit as I haven't been able to include as many stats or content for the monthly summary as I want, by bringing in Matt it'll obviously lessen the load and adds another creative outlet.

 

So from now onwards, Matt will be taking over the Division 1 updates and I will continue to do the Division 2 ones. We're going to try and keep the content of the updates as similar as possible but we'll both be free to include stats/information as we see fit, with each of us focused on a single division I think that it's safe to say that the quality of the content will pick up a bit. Any significant changes to the structure of the competition will be discussed before being implemented. So keep an eye out over the next few days for both updates, Matt will probably have his up before mine but mine will definitely be up over the weekend.

As mentioned above by Wayne, I am delighted to inform you all that I am now taking over the admin duties for the Division 1 group aka Team Vegemite. As Wayne is not able to be here as often as he would like to be, we decided that it would be beneficial to the competition and to you, the competitors to have more access. I am on PSNP everyday at some point so if anyone from either Division 1 or Division 2 has any queries, please feel free to send either Wayne or myself a message and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi everyone, firstly thank you all for your positive feedback and reactions to my points update. It means a lot to know that you like what I've done.

 

@adam1984123All good things come to those who...yeah mate I understand. Rest assured, your lead is going nowhere for a while!

@FeralI wonder if I would try harder if it was Nutella instead of Vegemite?

 

 

I just want to clarify something that has been brought to my attention. The difference in our timezones. I live in Western Australia and I know most of you live in the eastern states. I understand that my timezone is GMT+8 and many of you are GMT+10.The cut off times for earning trophies in a month end at midnight as you all know. What this means is that if for example, you earn a trophy on July 1st in between 12am and 2am your time, when I am counting your numbers, it appears to me as earned before midnight on June 30th. I have spoken to Wayne about this and we have decided that I must count all trophies as I see them. All this means is that a trophy or two you've earned may be counted a month earlier than you may have intended.

 

Please note that this only applies to the Division 1 players.

 

I apologise for any confusion this may have caused, feel free to message me for further information if needed.

Sorry Adam, just been a bit busy with work as it's just about to hit peak season in my industry. I will definitely be posting the Division 2 results on the weekend, plus I now need more time to work on my summary since Matt raised the bar!

 

CJ is a beast! He'll forever be remembered in the Hall of Fame as the inaugural champion of this competition. Hopefully he re-thinks his decision for next season, maybe I'll try and bribe him with a hole bunch of 2 hour platinum games and VNs?

Backlog games completed in May:

feral661 finished Assassin's Creed Syndicate for 6 points (Uncommon)

 

Summary:

June was a bit of a quiet months for us in Division 2, only 7 platinum trophies were earned from 4 different players. Although @Diagonis83 set a new points record for with an impressive 435 point haul this month, the previous record was adam1984123 with 393 points back in April. Congratulations! By doing this he also prevented @adam1984123 from making it back to back to back wins, however @adam1984123 has still never finished outside the top 3 in any given month! Shout-outs to @Z1MZUM for finishing 4th after having only ever finished 8th in all previous months, also to @Lightning_0608 for finishing 6th which is her highest finish having only finished in the bottom 2 every other month.

 

Also for the first time ever (I think anyway...) we've had a tie, I didn't skip a place for anyone after that hence why there are only 9 places this month. I have also removed IronMask75 from the competition after s/he not earning a single trophy since the beginning of the competition which leaves only 10 in Division 2 (points for everybody, yay! ).

 

Rarest platinum of the month for June was @Z1MZUM with Mafia 2 - Rare (14.22%). Thanks to Matt for this new addition to the competition.

The other platinums for the month were:

@Drew-013 with Lara Croft GO - Common (78.33%)

@Feral with Assassin's Creed Syndicate - Uncommon (21.50%)

@Diagonis83 with The World of Nubla - Common (97.31%), Nubla - Common (96.94%) & Goosebumps: The Game - Common (74.49%) - boo this man!

@Z1MZUM with Watch Dogs 2 - Uncommon (27.82%)

 

So after June there are a couple of changes to the leaderboard, @Feral jumps 2 spots from 4th to 2nd pushing @TheWayne-o and @mekktor into 3rd and 4th respectively. @Diagonis83 moves up a spot into 6th pushing @Drew-013 down into 7th. @adam1984123 extends his lead at the top of the table to 99 points and pretty much looks to have it wrapped up after only 4 rounds considering 2nd pace only has a total of 95 points... Therefore the focus of Division 2 moves to the battle for the Tim Tams between @Feral and @TheWayne-o who are only separated by 6 points!
