crimsonidol38
@DamagingRob @DeathShark22 @Metal Slime King Got your lists updated. Congrats on the games. @coldsphinx93 More games might be more impressive but it's not the amount that counts IMO. As an event host it's much nicer to see to see a large amount of people finishing their games in such a coordinated way.

Popular Post Undead Wolf
Happy (western) anniversary, Vita! It probably took about an hour to plat Undertale from where I left off at because of a rather difficult boss fight that I ended up using all of my health items on to clear. That made the fights against regular enemies that came after more difficult than they should have been. I was expecting the game to give me some trouble, though, which is why i got it out of the way first. Let me tell ya, it's quite a relief to know I never have to play this game again. Everything else went off without a hitch thankfully. I'm most proud of the Muramasa Rebirth plat/100%. I don't know how many people remember this, but back on the Vita's 5th anniversary thread, I said that I was going to platinum this game, but that never ended up happening. The fact that not only was I able complete way more games this time around, but I also got the 100% in a game I previously failed to platinum for one of these events makes me feel like I've redeemed myself. It was quite the task to 100% the game in a relativity short time frame like that, but I got it done. I'm also really happy that I got the platinum in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X. Without this event, who knows how much longer it would have taken me to finally finish the game? There's only so much you can do in the short bursts I was laying the game in prior to this event. It was quite a challenging plat too, especially for someone of my skill level in rhythm games. I feel like I've definitely improved in the genre. To end off, I just want to say that it has been really awesome seeing all this Vita love over the past few months. We may be small, but the Vita fanbase is still as passionate as ever! I'm really proud to be apart of such a great little community. Also, I've got to give a big shout-out to @Crimson Idol for running the event and giving people like me more of a reason to post on this site. It can't be an easy task compiling all of these stats from everyone! I hope we'll see this event return for the Vita's 8th anniversary. Or are we skipping a year again?

Popular Post mecharobot
Gratz to Vita with this exlusive JRPG (for now), Ys - Memories of Celceta: I think I read something about the game getting a PS4 port. Not that I really care one way or the other, but I kind of wish it doesn't steal the trophy list. Pretty sure it's going to be a fresh list if it happens. In any case, I've played almost every Ys game and this one is somewhere in the middle I guess. I still like the Origin/Oath style better than the party system, but the game has a fairly high pace going so it's still fun to play, though maybe a bit lacking in the finesse. Trophywise, lots of completionist stuff to keep track of (especially the damn map), but nothing too insane. One thing I do find interesting though, is that apparently the game used plot elements from both Dawn of Ys and Mask of the Sun and combined them into one game. I guess that's all: fun game, not too terrible trophies. On 20.2.2019 at 8:48 PM, Crimson Idol said: And yep, hugging all walls surely was an annoying thing. Should you be interested in playing Lacrimosa of Dana in the near future I'm sure you will be glad to hear that clearing the maps on there is much forgiving than in Celceta as the field of view for unlocking the map seems to be a bit larger. But that only matters should you decide to play it on a system with achievements (IIRC you also own a Switch where it's also available). Yeah, there is a good chance I'll pick it up for Switch, but I'll have to research the translation for that version. Not in a huge hurry, since I think I got my fix of Ys for now.

Popular Post DamagingRob
Finished up my final game. Full Throttle wasn't as good as Double Fine's other point-and-clicks.. Part of why I say that could be having to replay a portion of the game, but it also just wasn't as funny/had some sections with weird controls. Still not a bad game, though. Anyways, here are screenshots for most of the games (whiffed on Papers, Please :/). Spoiler A couple didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped, resulting in loading screens.. But what can you do? Thanks to @Crimson Idol for hosting this, and everyone that participated. Was a fun event, and a good way to clear some of my Vita backlog. Tempted to do the same thing now with lining up a number of PS3 Plats in a row. But with KYC right around the corner, it probably won't be for awhile. :/ Edited February 22, 2019 by DamagingRob

kkchan0323
Tetra's Escape Sound Shapes completed. Tetra's Escape is easy is uneventful. I enjoyed sound shapes soundtracks. Some minor rant: I have never be able to get cloud sync working. So if I somehow get its PS4 version I have to replay it all over there.

Arctic Cress
It's finally past midnight here! I popped Fill-A-Pix: Phil's Epic Adventure and One Word by POWGI's platinums. Unfortunately, I do not have the other two games ready, but there's still plenty of time. There's only four more pictures left in Pic-A-Pix Pieces and Reverie is a short game overall.

Popular Post crimsonidol38
OMG, the amounf of new notifications. Well, I'm quite astonished as we already surpassed the amount of finished games for the japanese anniversary as counting all reported games so far we come up with 77 different lists finished. That's quite a big number. Let's see if we can top the result from 2017 (145 lists finished). Bring it on! Got everyone who posted some progess updated. @Leon Castle @Alternatewarning @chellesan @DamagingRob @Kevvik @Fozzyabear @Arctic Cress @vanillamoose @Kishnabe @Caju_94 @Cisele80 Nice work guys and gals. Popular Post crimsonidol38
Okay, all games are now finished Flower First of all the concept of Flower is really nice and it was fun to fly through the levels and making everything bloom. There were only two things I disliked about the ame: The Pure-trophy was a bit annoying as it didn't pop on my first attempt. My second gripe are the controls. I used the ones requiring the gyro-sensor and sometimes it was totally messed up as it wasn't clear to me why the petal keeps going down while I pull the Vita up. This made the Pure-trophy even more of a PITA than it already was. forma.8 Overall it was an okay'ish Metroidvania. Biggest annoyance was probably the missing hit feedback for the bosses. Hatoful Boyfriend I knew that the game was rather quirky and I can understand that the BBL-route has some awkward and suprising elements, but overall I didn't really enjoy Hatoful Boyfriend. It was more or less an average VN for me. Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star Well, buying the fan-disc of a VN before even reading the main one and without knowing whether I will like it sounds kinda stupid, right? Right. And after having such a mixed experience with the main story I expected nothing good of Holiday Star but I was pleasently surprised as all those side-stories hit the right nerve. And with Miru and Kaku it also introduced two hilarious, but also damn cute, side-characters. Merry Christmas!!! Hitman Go I enjoyed this puzzle-game way more than Lara Croft Go. It will probably stay the only Hitman-related game I will play, though. London Detective Mysteria It's your run-of-the-mill otome but it was fun to read nonetheless. I already mentioned it but my favorite routes were the ones for Watson, Lupin, and Jack. Major downside is the "true ending". Spoiler The true ending is kinda open and after reading it's associated epilogue you get to know that the devs planned a sequel. That sequel never happened, though. And it's unlikely that it will ever get made. Super Stardust Delta Don't know why I restarted playing Super Stardust Delta but I'm glad I did because it was a lot of fun doing most of the tasks tied to the trophies. Doing the main game is quite easy but doing all the other things needs at least some planning. And after playing a bit of Super Stardust HD shortly after revisiting Delta I can surely say that the added features make this feel like the best version of Super Stardust. (haven't played Ultra yet but it seems quite similar to HD). Word Search by POWGI Thank you Switch for having a a demo for this. After hearing what this POWGI-game is about I didn't think I would like it but I still decided to give the demo a try.And after doing the few word searches I decided to grab the game in the next sale and all I can say is that it was mostly fun. Some of the categories felt a bit forced and there was a whole bunch of words I never heard of but some of the puns were hilarious. And doing all those word searches legit (aka without looking up solutions) was kinda demanding in some categories like Rhyme Time or Interesting Words. Word Sudoku by POWGI After enjoying Word Search I decided to give Word Sudoku a chance too but this made me realize that Sudoku ain't a puzzle-type I enjoy. I'm just glad that you only need to do about 50 of the 240 Sudokus. Edited February 22, 2019 by Crimson Idol Fixed image for Flower
