Yesterday, I have beaten The Raven for PS4, which is a remaster of the PS3 version. So, HC requirement NOT met for this one. But it's a game I started this month.

A couple more games to add to the pile this month:

Final Fantasy XII (10 years old, first trophy over a year ago)

Spyro 3 (10 years old, started this month)

Put together with the other two games, this gives me 4 games this month as well.

A question about the challenges for this event. Are they one-time things, or do the stars next to the challenge denote how many times you've done that challenge during the year? If it's the latter, sorry that I haven't been updating the challenges with each game (I did above).

Anyway, new percentages and counting stats:

Plats: 333

Completed games: 409

Completion%: 82.69%

@starcrunch061 Each challenge can be done multiple times. The first time a challenge is completed you'll get the :platinum: for that challenge. Each additional completion of that challenge will give you a gold star. So the platinum + the gold stars are the number you completed a challenge.

So far I tried to add challenges even when they weren't mentioned at least for the ones I can easily check.

I noticed that you finished NBA2K19: The Prelude.

You can use a skip with that game to at least get a :gold: rating for March instead of a :bronze:. Let me know if you want to do that.

Oh yeah, I'll take the :gold: then. Thanks for looking at it and mentioning! For some reason I didn't think about that one since it didn't have a platinum.

Got a game done, so already doing better than I did in March :D

Day of the Tentacle Remastered:

  • Complete a 10 year old game (Originally released in 1993.)
  • Complete a game that counts towards a different PSNP event (Bingo event)
  • Complete a game that fulfills the Hardcore requirement of that month (definitely before PS3 era)
  • Complete a game that you started this month

Working on my 4th game. Technology, I'm already done with it, but I need to do two games to make it count. In the meantime:

Adam’s Venture Origins: A remake/remaster/reimagining (not sure which. I've read all three on different sources) of a PC game

  • Complete a game that you started this month

Edit: Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, which counts with 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors.

Adam's Venture Origins :platinum:

  • Complete a game that counts towards another PSNP event (Spring 2019 Backlog Challenge)
  • Complete a 10 year old game. (the original came out for PC in 2009)

Burnout Paradise: Remastered :platinum:

I am working on finishing all of Burnout Paradise Remastered's DLC so there will likely be an update where I count Burnout Paradise: Remastered towards that challenge.

Borderlands [PS4] :platinum:

  • Complete a game that counts towards another PSNP event (Songkran Festival)
  • Complete a game that you started this month.

This is another one where I am currently working on the DLC so I will likely have an update for this and Burnout Paradise Remastered when those DLCs are finished. I am currently playing Another World 20th Anniversary Edition and Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus.

I am hoping to get both of those done by the end of the month and they would both end up counting towards the Hardcore challenge as well as complete a game that was released more than 10 years ago. For now, I am at three :platinum: games completed this month.

New Stats:

Platinum trophies: 36
100% completed: 44
Completion: 32.59%

Sorry for the long time without any updates. I'll update everything this weekend, so just a little more time before you can see your current progress.

Knocked out this months theme with the HC requirement. Finished Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, which also meets the requirements for the challenges complete a 10 year old game and a game that counts towards another event (Bingo). Nothing I can say about the game that hasn't already been said. I enjoyed it and am a little sad I waited this long to experience it. Next up is KH Re: CoM. Happy Easter all!

Another update from me before updating the thread.

I finished Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered today. I had to play through the game once more on Crushing which wasn't that bad for most parts. Still there where some annoying chapters like chapter 4 and the last one.

  • Another event: It counts for the "What the Hell is that still doing there" event.
  • Over a year: It only took 2 years and 10 months to get the plat.

Adam's Venture doen't count for the 10 year challenges because it was released in October. It only would count in October, November and December.

@Hunter226037 I'm on the fence for Jak II on PS4 for you. Rule 5 says instant completion is agains the rules. Your completion time suggests that you used the debug menue to unlock most trophies, which could be seen as instant copmpletion. However, because everyone can use that and it's not a time af a few second I counted it for now.

For everyone else you should be updated. Please check if I missed something.

Knocking back another game for this month's challenge:

Final Fantasy X-2 HD (10 years old, first trophy over a year ago)

I don't think this is a port. While the game itself is the international edition (I think), there is also the Last Mission, which was new (afaik) to this version. Of course, I wish it wasn't there, but oh well.

Current Stats:

Platinums: 334

Completed games: 410

Completion%: 82.69%

I'm hoping to get motivated to play Crash Bandicoot again, but I really don't enjoy that game so much. I mean, it's OK, but it feels so...plain. But it has DLC!!!

I got a game done for this month's theme. Gauntlet. It's got a platinum and should qualify for the Hardcore, I think the original version of this game was for the Atari 2400! It also qualifies for the other event challenge, I reviewed it for the last KYC event.

@Hunter226037 I had to make a correction for you. It was cleared somewhere in the thread that only proper remaster/remakes count for this month's challenge. That means that I can only count 3 from the 5 games you posted. The ones I had to remove where the Jak games on PS4 as the are just emulations of the PS2 game, whereas the PS3 versions are part of a HD collection.

@Metal Slime King I'm not sure if Gauntlet for PS4 is a remake of one of the earlier games or a new one. I can't really find any information on that matter. It could be a reboot of some sort so I'll count it.

Also everything is updated up to this post.

May's theme will be "Game of the Year"

This month is all about the best of the best. There are many great games but some are even greater.

Any game that was nominated for any GotY award, be it from the Game Awards, Giant Bomb or Famitsu Awards, counts this month.

Examples: Dark Souls II, Fallout 4, Inside, Persona 5

For the hardcore requirement you have to play the very best like no one ever was.

Your game of choice should be any game that actually won a GotY Award.

Examples: God of War(PS4), The Walking Dead, Skyrim, Bloodborn

I will provide a link with all the awards you can use for this month.

As of this post you still have 24h to finish any remaining games for April.

Here are the monthly reminders for the people who havn't submitted a game for April

@Ampplaca @ArdorTichy @ArtikSkarab @Caju_94 @cerafinn @Kevvik @NetEntity @Psy-Tychist @The_Accountant13

And last but not least the people without a game for three months in a row

@Dessane @Howling-Lady
