Personally I loved the game, well worth the wait for me. But even if I didn't, I just couldn't be arsed moaning about it. There's loads of games many like that I don't, but I don't waste my free time sticking the knife in like others do. MatThaRiPP3R84 Posted June 27, 2020 Share Posted June 27, 2020 mass effect 3 was changed after backlash and petitions, but ea are whores. im quite glad this happened the way it did though, aside from being shite it was profitable for sony, a win for them is a win for us, also it showed the world access media can't be trusted, I knew joel would pay for his actions, but the game reads like tumblr fan fiction from your average snowflake. im happy it did well enough, profitable for sony etc but i wouldn't play it for free and it could have sold so much better, but hey. if they wanna make shit have at it. but expecting nd to rewrite this, hell no they won't. To be fair, the end of ME3 wasn't changed, was "extended", they just explained a little more what happened in the three different endings, but it was still the same thing but longer. You can get a refund actually, though only if you ask for one before the allotted time has passed and movie endings and/or stories are changed because of test audiences quite frequently. Entitlement is wanting something without giving something in return and as I said, that's not the case when money is involved. I'm glad you don't care about censorship, i'm assuming you would also be fine if TLOU2 got censored as well? In other countries, they will censor content that they don't like (most of the time they censor any scenes with gay characters). The game was banned in the middle east for having gay characters in the game. But to have a petition made to change a storyline is the most ridiculous thing ever. Serious what has these entitled gamers think is going to happen. These Karens and Kevins are pathetic. I purposely let her get shot in the face hoping that was going to progress with the story but instead you have to beat the living hell out of Ellie which I did not enjoy. It is certainly not the worst game I have played, there were a lot of really strong points to it, but I couldn't feel for Abby the way I did for Joel and Ellie. It's just my personal opinion and I know that a lot of people agree and a lot of people disagree. I don't feel like calling for a change to the game is necessary though. I get the point that they were trying to make by showing that vengeance can swallow up anyone and that it usually doesn't lead to anything good. But if we're being completely honest here, if someone that you cared about that much had something terrible like that happen right in front of you, most of us would not be able to let it go. PREACH!
