PlayStation's new censorship making you move away from the brand?

Well with the quadrillion stacks of shitty visual novels with tits a galore and questionable content which gets approved almost every day people don't have anything to worry about, I'll never understand why not beat the meat watching porn which is free in most sites or straight up hentai instead of all this over the top drama, meh.

Hell, no, I'm not switching.  So what if they invoke some censorship, although I haven't noticed any real changes.  I play the games for some enjoyment and seeing how badly I can get my butt kicked, not for the blood or violence that PSN is targeting.

And, having the headquarters moving to San Mateo really is a non-issue.

A Bit. I won't buy any censored game on ps if i know about it. Whent PC for a few years waiting for ps4 to get good. So i'l just buy it on PC as there mostly uncensored or can be uncensored ver mods.

And if it a exclusive thing... well there's emulators. So i will buy it cheap and fix it though that. Like with the wii Fatal Frame game. Buy Japanese then play on pc with English patch

I feel like they've been a lot more lenient lately. Especially since the PS5 released. I never would have thought the Sakura series of visual novels would be on PSN. Doki Doki Literature Club either.

The answer is "No", they have not. I've actually read it and anytime I see chuds invoking it I die a little inside because their ignorance truly knows no bounds and they just put it on full display.

Reminds me when people were having a field day with a certain line in the House in Fata Morgana, after one of the translator's re-tweeted a fan's screenshot. That line is specifically non-canon and doesn't even exist in any of the non-PC versions as far as I'm aware. But of course people had to chime in with "this goes against the author's intent" and what not in regards to how it was translated. Was plain as day they had never played the visual novel, despite getting their panties in such a bunch over it.

There's nothing ironic about that...  If these people you speak of were demanding that others should be silenced, then you might have a point, but choosing to ignore someone is very different. Doesn't surprise me that you aren't able to distinguish between the two though.

You see, I appreciate your right to think that way. You’re entitled to your opinion. If I thought differently and added you to my ignore list, I’d be taking away those basic freedoms and censoring you out of my version of this site. It would literally be self-censoring the site to create a more happy go lucky environment... but I don’t do that because I’m not about censorship =)

Now if I was against censorship but decided to censor you out of my life anyways, that would make me a bit of a hypocrite, therefore making it ironic. Seems to me like I touched a bit of a nerve there with my previous comment lol.

In this politically correct, overly sensitive world we live in, people will report you for practically anything.

Just be wary if you guys get into a heated argument over PS messages on PSN. I got a warning from Sony several months back after I got into an argument with somebody.

Be careful what you say online.

you just have to look the brainwashing comments to see the problem, "they are not censoring my hippie games so i dont care" these people  it's the one that talks about empathy and care about others lol, but this it's a trend it will stop in some moment, keep the comment.

Yeah, rule of thumb when talking over console networks, keep it to hello/bye and GG. Anything else say over discord or just let it go.

Also don't connect your PSN to the official discord thing when it's released in a few months, that's just asking for trouble.

I have nothing to add to this discussion. I just wanted to give you a shout out for calling people chuds, LOL

Wasn't even aware this was a thing. I mean I know the hentai visual novels are censored to cut out the well... hentai part. But outside of that genre of game, what would be an example of this? If I've played a game that was censored in any way I definitely did not notice at all.

I don't need to be reminded, I'm 33 years old and have been using social media since I was around 17 years old. This needs to be a lesson for the young people, because I've seen many get in trouble over what they said regarding gestures and slang.

I intended that as more of an open advice thing to passers by than anything else. No need to display your age point average, I know you're experienced.
