GravityQueeen
Maybe getting to online level 5000 (Elite) in Just Dance 2015. It was insanely grindy. Would have gotten my platinum if it werent by the server closure. Also getting "Classic Master" in Q*bert Rebooted, damn, it was so hard! The newest "achievements" of mine Im proud of are being the fastest on Just Dance 2020 and simply completing Mega Man Legacy Collection.

PerryToxteth
I don’t think any of my achievements in decades of gaming, have matched the level of exhilaration as to when I finally beat Mike Tyson as an adolescent In Punch Out. Automatic entry into The 007 373 5963 Club for those who know what I’m talking about.

She thinks that because it's a simulated environment (read: not real), it shouldn't be frightening. She can't work out the difference between watching a spooky movie that you have no control over and actually having your actions result in survival or death. The saddest part about it is that she says it bores her, but in actuality, she won't even try to watch me play. How can she know it's boring if she's never even attempted to get involved? I hate that. My dad used to give it a shot with me, but I lost him in 2016. He would have loved RDR and Assassin's Creed. He enjoyed history and westerns.

FarSideOfSaturn
I never answer these posts seriously, so I'm gonna go with concealing my $100 million GTA dollars from all of my friends. The more money I accumulated, the more inventive I had to be with my excuses with little time to think of a reason why I always said I had only a few million (as far as they knew). Stuff like I spent it on interiors...I paid the entrance fee to premium races but DNF'ed (my favourite excuse), weapon upgrades, I gambled it all in the casino...the day I finally unveiled my $101 million bank account via a screenshot sent to groupchat was glorious. A more serious answer, probably running a fist only run of Dark Souls III is the first that comes to mind. That took way more practice and patience than any trophy I've ever earned Edited January 8, 2021 by FarSideOfSaturn

"Oh i hope you kill that a$$hole." etc etc. she's often disappointed when i stop for the night cause she wants to know what happens next. its a cool bonding experience and its the highlight of my day. I know I'm late to comment but I only recently saw this and my dad was the same way with my brother. He would watch my brother play Skyrim or Final Fantasy 12 or Dragon Age Inquisition and comment on the story. (My half-brother actually... as in father and stepmother's son.) As a result, he started playing Warframe on Steam so he could do something with him and keep his mind sharp after he retired. He played for 960 consecutive days, the last one being the day before he died (massive stroke last May). In my father's honor, my brother re-created my father's favorite Warframe suit to the best of his ability. My other relatives accept my gaming passion but do not understand it. Some of them call gaming music "not real music"... even the ones with lyrics. (Feel free to cringe... I did too.) As long as we accept one another, that is all that matters. Sadly, not always so.

Darling Baphomet
I'm very proud of my platinum in Battleborn, because it's probably my favorite current (oh shit, PS5 is out, last) gen team shooter and represents the ~280 hours I put into it. I'm not too much of a tryhard so I haven't gone for too many skill based achievements, although I have enjoyed games like Trackmania Turbo / Super Meat Boy / etc. My greatest accomplishments are all symbolic.

Popular Post Property_Damage
I wrote the guide on here and .org for Perils of Baking and the developer added my name to the special thanks and play testers section in the credits screen in game which is very cool! I have a 2nd in the world finish for the NA version behind him and he generously gave me a code for the EU version before release and allowed me be 1st in the world for the EU version! Such a great little game! Awesome dev, great dude! I had such a fun time doing it along side him. For more of a trophy achievement. I had an 8 year long platinum trophy streak that didnt skip a beat. I went from 0 to 306 platinums, unlocking atleast 1 platinum a month, for 8 years straight, never missing a single month. Most months i would unlock several, but my minimum requirement was atleast 1. This past leap year i almost ruined my streak but then i realized what day it was and what time it was, i really cut it close. I literally had minutes left on the 29th day of february or my streak would have ended, but i kept it alive, a winters daydream, you can check my timestamp for it on ps4..i had like 2minutes to spare before march rolled into effect to keep the ball rolling. I have since given up on my platinum streak, it ended at 306 platinums and i have to say, starting back in 2012 when games werent quite as easy to plow through as they are these days, i’d like to think thats quite the accomplishment for 1 man to do in his spare time playing video games. Sure there was some easy games in 2013 but they still took 10-12 hours to get through, not like the 10minute shovelware games of today Edited February 27, 2021 by Property_Damage

Shaun1094
Trials Fusion 100%. Took me a couple of years I think on and off, one challenge in particular took me several months. That’s just the base game, took a couple months of actively going for it to get the rest of the dlc trophies. It is completely skill dependant and requires a high skill level and also a lot of luck. Absolutely horrendous experience. Broke a few pads lol

steel6burgh
I use to play mike tyson punch out all the way through without a single punch being landed on me. There were about 5 fights in the game where if you blink it could screw you up, but the rest were pretty easy. I remember getting to tyson pretty consistently and having to start over so many times. needless to say i was a kid and very bored so this is what i did which is why i complete games today. Back then i invented things to accomplish in games that today might earn you a trophy. i was also really good at the the arcade mario game form the 80's and the first super mario game where i could reset the high score, get game over for too many lives, beat the game as fast as possible without being hit etc. Doesn't seem like much of a challenge but i recently picked up a old unresponsive NES controller and gave it a go and it made me realize how much practice that all took. I beat Ninja Gadiens, Double dragons, Castlevanias, a lot of games that are considered hard today where as back then it was just passing time. Games were short and sweet and re-playability was dying over and over.
