Should be enough time to finish them before end of the challenge! If you struggle to find boosting partners, let me know. I don't mind jumping in to help out. The trophies that need other people are quite quick to knock out. Though you need a group of 4 to do the ranked match trophy ?

It is absolutely brimming with memorable characters too. I love seeing more people pick that one up and give it a go. I hope you enjoy the rest of your time with it. Congrats on all your other progress too. I agree! The characters are amazing! And the story is good too, I'm excited to see what different choices will do to the narrative! I'm a tiny bit afraid of getting that feeling of emptiness one can feel at the end of a really good book. But hey, I would say it's 100% worth it for what it gives me right now! 1 hour ago, Heather342 said: If you struggle to find boosting partners, let me know. I don't mind jumping in to help out. I have a friend who also want to get some multiplayer trophies in it, so I think I can get most with him, but would love some help with the kill two at the same time + the ranked match one! I'll give you a poke when I find a fourth person to do it with and we can set up a time for it! Highly appreciate it!

The different choices actually end up making elements of it very fresh - you see some interesting sides to a lot of the characters if you choose to be a jerk to them or don't help them, or react negatively towards them. Turing is particularly interesting on subsequent playthroughs because of that. Hopefully you won't have that feeling at the end of it - I ended up just wanting more from that universe..... The good thing is there's actually another game set in that universe. I had no idea about it until one of my friends told me. I've not actually gotten around to playing it yet, but he said it was a good time, and suitably has the same atmosphere and feeling that 2064 does. I've been waiting on a sale for it for a while - but I might just go ahead and pick it up if one doesn't come up soon. You might have already heard of it, but if you haven't it's this. https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/9060-va-11-hall-a It's got Jess and Tomcat in it and I think Lexi too, so if you end up wanting more from that universe like I did, then that might be for you. Popular Post willythom88
Not much new to report, but in the interest of staying engaged, wanted to leave some thoughts on some of what I've been playing from my list. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - I put this down for a bit cause I'm trying to run through some other stuff, but I love this. The combat is smooth, the platforming is great. I wish the environments looked a tad more distinct, as I often forget which planet I'm on, but otherwise, big fan! Plan to plat Ghost of Tsushima - This one, on the other hand, I'm a bit less into. It's very early though, so I'm holding back my judgment. If it gets better and more engaging, will plat Mortal Kombat X - Lol I'm so bad at this game, I have no idea why I put it on the list. Fun as f*ck though. Lol probably won't but I'm gonna try Tales of Xillia - This is one of the reasons I put down Star Wars. I'm currently stuck on a boss, but I thoroughly enjoy this game. The web skill tree (can't remember the name off hand) is AMAZING, and while I'm not looking forward to balancing it once I have more characters, I currently have 5 and I think it works fine. Upgrading shops is fantastic as well, and about my only complaint so far is some of the dungeons aren't laid out particularly well (specifically a forest I passed through) so it's really easy to get turned around. Plan to plat
Popular Post Heather342
Update 15 So I know I only did an update a few days ago, but I just finished Alien Isolation and I'm still on an adrenaline high so I thought I'd update again ? I was on quite a good streak with the game the last few days, and got from Mission 7 to Mission 16 fairly straightforward. I was watching a YouTube guide doing a Nightmare run through of the game, applying their tips to my strategy was really helpful. Then today I went back to it to finish off the remaining missions. Mission 17 can absolutely get in the bin though....urgh. It's so difficult, much creeping up and down the same corridor over and over. I had to reload my save so many times during it. But it is done now, and thankfully both the Hard Mode and One Shot popped together with that shiny new platinum ?. I am glad that you don't have to do a Nightmare run for the plat though, no HUD, no map and a faulty motion tracker.... that's a whole new level of stress I don't need ? This game is one hell of an experience though, I do thoroughly recommend it. But now I need to go lie down ? Trophy progress: - Alien Isolation - 82 -> 100%

I've heard many good things, especially from TalesofGaming, about this game, so I'm excited to see how it goes. See the Tales influence on it. Dark Souls 3 continues to be progressing, but a bit slower this last week as I had @TalesofGaming with me in person, so less gaming got done. Finally, I was able to go back and finish off Overcooked 2 (which I don't have on this event, but was three trophies off of 100% for the longest time) and the campaign for Beat Saber.

Popular Post Bl4ckb1rd92
Update: Well, end of the long weekend. Didn't wind up getting a chance to play DSII because I got called in at the last second for a 24 hour duty. Over the 24 hours of dealing with a rowdy barracks over a long weekend, I compiled my notes for another guide that I'll be typing up over the week. Dark Souls II - started at 50% --> currently at 82% Did three battles with Lucatiel and getting ready to do three with Benhart. Just need the four old one souls and two spells from Wellager and BOOM! Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - 13% --> Haven't touched it, yet. Plan is finished, I'll get to it eventually, maybe. FFVII - started at 10% --> currently at 86% I didn't get Best Bromance. But that's ok, since I would have to hold off on getting the plat anyway, I can just grind out the 99,999,999 gil and finish the game before I bring myself just before going to the Golden Saucer. Dark Cloud - started at 0% --> 12NOV2021 Spyro 3 - started at 8% --> 30OCT2021 Call of Cthulhu - started at 22% --> I don't remember why I dropped this one to begin with, so I'll probably be starting over when I get to it. Naruto: UNS - started at 10% --> 01NOV2021 Greedfall - started at 14% --> Another game that I don't remember why I dropped it. Found a really in-depth guide that I'm going to be using, looking forward to this one after FFVII since I took Berserk off the list. Fernz Gate - started at 1% --> 12NOV2021 Antiquia Lost - started at 0% --> currently at 97% I'm sitting at 100 steps short so I don't pop the plat until after I finish DSII. After a few questions on the author Discord, it looks like I'm going to clicky-clack across the keyboard. For once, I started and finished a Vita game outside of my home. Sadly, it was all in one sitting. Which also defeats the purpose. Revenant Dogma - started at 0% --> currently at 5% Tried looking up information for the game and found it's in the same state that Antiquia was in. I'll just write down everything as I go again, but I don't want to do it during my lunch break, I'll set aside some time to sit comfortably for an hour a day and snag a different game for work. So I've completed 5/12 games on my list, used 1/5 swaps, and 1/2 games started above 33% (but still below 50%). The second guide is up for review, looks like I'll be publishing two guides over the course of this challenge. Sitting at 149 plats with a count of 2 plats waiting behind Dark Souls. I'm adding Gravity Rush as lucky number 13 to the challenge.

I'm not sure how I feel about it, sometimes it's just all over the place. I don't want to spoil anything but... how do I put this... you learn interesting things that don't necessarily help the main mystery (move forward) in the game and the ending doesn't make much sense. Oh well, there's still plenty more to grind for, so I'll be doing that. Next week I'll have a 4 day weekend with basically not much obligations, meaning lots of free time. I have finished up Sonic Forces too and now I can focus on these games only. I don't want to spend all my time playing The Good Life. I will most likely start Shadow of the Tomb Raider, read Tomb Raider comics and catch up on some shows... a whole lotta shows. I won't do another update before next Sunday, so Happy Thanksgiving people. Those who celebrate it I hope you have a great time. And keep up the good work everyone.
Popular Post iXanon
Update #3 Once again, I come bearing good news! Another platinum.. ? Thankfully I'd already finished the worst of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, and the remaining few challenges were relatively simple in comparison. Afterwards I just had to grind the last few remaining SCPD levels and.. *pop* Now I could have used the rest of the week to make good progress in Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, but honestly that game is beginning to grind on me somewhat. The map just keeps frickin' expanding.. So instead, I started x2 new PS3 titles that I'm going to add to my list - ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron (which I've already finished, so I hope this is allowed) - and Fallout 3. I'm almost ashamed to admit that I've hardly touched Fallout 3 in the past, so decided it was perhaps time that I ought to experience it.. I have to say that it's not really my cup of tea, I found Oblivion quite the chore to play on X360.. but I'll try to stick with it and hopefully I can still finish the challenge in time. Alien Breed: Impact (PS3) - 5%Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (PS3) - 44% Fallout 3 - 0% => 3% L.A Noire (PS3) - 30% => 59% => 100% Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom (PS3) - 18% => 22% Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (PS3) - 7% => 72% => 100% ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron - 0% => 100% *Two games can have a completion percentage of up to 50%, but the rest must be 33% or under.

Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update 13 - It's been a while since my last proper update because I've been back home visiting my family. But I'm settled back in now and I made some decent progress towards my 200th Platinum. I haven't been able to update for a bit, but I have really enjoyed reading all of your updates in the meantime Platinum 195 - Guardians of the Galaxy Spoiler I am a pretty big comic book and Marvel Cinematic Universe fan so I think this really helped with how much I enjoyed the experience overall. I'm a big fan of the MCU movies and the Guardians movies are definitely up there as my favourites, but this movie appreciation actually worked against my enjoyment initially because my brain was so used to seeing the actors from the films playing these now iconic characters. And this was reinforced by how much of a great job the game writers did with matching the type of banter and humour you'd see with the big-screen versions of the characters. Thankfully, by the time I was done with the first level it was clear that while it paid pretty fantastic tributes to the movies in tone, the game was more than strong enough to stand up on its own two feet. It is clear that the creators put so much love and attention into this game and a great example of this was the way the interior of The Romano was so meticulously built and decorated to really give the impression that a mix of very different personalities were all co-existing on board. I spent ages walking around the ship, looking on every shelf and inside every room, listening to the countless lines of dialogue from different characters all conversing or arguing. The detail opens up even further with the adventure environments where your group explore and follow the story to each conclusion point. They did such a great job of really showing how varied the planetary terrain was so when you landed on a new planet, it really really felt like a new planet and not a re-used skin of the previous one. The combat elements were fun and engaging, especially when you opened up all of the character abilities for each team member and I really like how the stagger-mechanic grew to become a really strategic element to fights. Figuring out what order of companion abilities I should use for a particular enemy like making sure to use Groot to ensare a fast enemy to give the rest of the group time to land hits. I had some trouble at first because I assumed Star-Lord would be the fight leader all the time, him being the group leader and all. But then I realised he is meant to be mid-range, light and effectively the air support for the rest of the team. So my end-game strategies were extremely different to my opening attempts. It got way easier flying and dodging around the edge of a battle and issuing commands before joining in the fray. Guardians was a wild ride for me and I got completely sucked in by the whole experience. Platinum 196 - Deathloop Spoiler This was a huge surprise for me and probably one of the most interesting games i've played in a long long time. It takes elements from Dishonored, Majora's Mask, the movie 'Groundhog Day' and the TV show 'Lost' - mixing them up into a really fascinating and enjoyable story. I actually don't want to talk too much about this one, because I think that a great deal of the enjoyment you'll get out of it is going in completely blind. Let yourself stumble upon things and start investigating them. The more you loop, the more you learn. The more you learn, the better you become at navigating enemies, the more powerful you become and ultimately equip yourself to complete the final and most definite loop. The alternative mode - which effectively equates to PvP - where you play as Julianna, trying to foil your main character at every turn is really engaging too but I'm actually not sure if many people will make the most of it beyond the trophies. They definitely put a strong amount of effort into this game mode and I hope they invest some more time into growing it further to incentivise more people to stick with it. I still have Life is Strange 3, Psychonauts 2 and Lost Judgment to get through before the end of the year, but Deathloop so far is my game of the year 2022. Next up - I'm in full prep for popping Resident Evil 0 as my 200th. I'll be clearing Psychonauts, Psychonauts 2 and Life is Strange 3 before jumping into RE0 and popping the last trophy I need to get the platinum (which is to kill a leech monster using only the knife). I hope everyone is doing okay as the end of year madness slowly begins and looking forward to reading more updates from you all as the weather gets colder and nights longer! Stay safe and take care. Have you given any thought to starting a checklist? I would happily subscribe. Loved Res 2, in fact I tackled it for the Spring challenge, and it's so well done. Hell of a Sheriff was definitely trying, but damn if it didn't feel good to knock it out - I wanna say that took an entire afternoon for me! I wish I had done like you and started with 0 and 1, but it's probably because I've already played them way back when. Still lookin forward to to though, and really glad you're enjoying the franchise! Thank you Smevz! I appreciate the kind words, and your support. ? Truthfully I have never thought about starting my own checklist before now, but my progress posts for recent events on these forums have gone deeper than I originally planned and have kind of morphed into reviews and my thoughts/opinions on what I’ve been playing. For some reason people seem to enjoy reading my ramblings so I’m starting to consider making one. ? I find the writing process to be rather relaxing too. I move from game to game so quickly that it is nice to be able to actually sit down and reflect on a project after finishing it, and to be able to share it with my peers. I think it would be beneficial to continue this habit and to have a space of my own to collect my thoughts after this event wraps up. I will definitely consider it. And I agree that RE2 was a hell of a game. Even without the childhood nostalgia goggles that most people view it with, I found it to be an amazing experience and a perfect dose of survival horror. I can see why the source material is considered a classic. And from a trophy standpoint it’s exactly what I love, hard work but fun, challenging but not frustrating. It’s very satisfying to finish a game like that and feel like you really earned that shiny new platinum!
Popular Post skeggah
Hey! Finally finished Jak & Daxter, the only game I've played in my bedroom when I am slow at getting out of bed. Had a pretty sweet experience with it this time. Biggest frustration was missing 1 Precursor Orb in the Spider Cave. Next "bedgame" has to be Legend of Kay, but as I procrastinate on Olympian levels I have trouble seeing it ? Started playing Sackboy and The Smurfs pretty much back to back. At the moment I prefer Sackboy for the co-op, but them thar Smurfs are pretty sweet too In Samurai Warriors I have finished all 6 of Nobunagas chapters, and started playing Mitsuhide Ch5. I'm seriously feeling the burn on this one.. Completed games! 1) Dark Cloud (PS4) 2) Altered Beast (PS3) 3) Brave (PS3) 4) Moving Out! (PS4) 5) Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (PS4) 6) MediEvil (PS4) 7) Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride (PS4) 8) Hotel Transylvania 3: Monsters Overboard (PS4) 9) Order Up!! Popular Post damcrac5
Completion #9 Phew! Another Souls game down. I'd put this one a notch under the Demon's Souls remakester for PS5. Nonetheless, the level design was impressive. How each area seemed to have multiple connecting paths that seamlessly flowed from one zone to another. The Four Kings were the only boss that gave me significant troubles, taking about 45 minutes each time I had to fight them. I did follow a really detailed guide that allowed me to get the plat in around 40 hours, which is well above the guide's suggested 70 hours. I know, not a true souls experience, but I still enjoyed the game very much and the challenges it provided. Now I can really focus down The Touryst. My goal for the remainder of the month is hopefully finish Sly 2 and The Touryst, and hopefully crank out The Wolf Among Us on PS3 as well. If I can complete The Touryst and Wolf Among US, that would bring my total to 6 games that fit the required colors for the Trophies against Cancer event, and my overall completions to 7, which I will donate $5 for each game regardless of color. I'll likely give one more update prior to the end of the month, but I will be going on a work trip for 3 or so weeks towards the end of the month and I will not have internet for that time. I'll definitely have my Vita, but am working on a set-up for my PS5. If it all works out, I will try to knock out Spider-Man Remastered while away. A fun game that doesn't seem to need a detailed guide for. Happy hunting everyone, and keep 'em coming! My Thoughts on Afterparty I'll try and keep this one fairly brief - because even after playing through Afterparty twice, and very much enjoying it. I'm still not quite sure exactly how I feel about it. That's even after writing a fairly lengthy review about it, I'm still trying to piece together exactly what I think of it wholly. I know I really liked it, that's the easy part though. I very much enjoyed it - but I can't quite tell if the game had some genuine glaring issues, or whether the fact I was sort of trying to balance about 5 different spinning plates with two hands, whilst I played through it the second time, and also focus on other things might have meant I sullied the experience for myself. I'd still say it's pretty much worthy of your time though if you like narrative focused video games..... It's made by the same crew that made Oxenfree, so if you liked that you'll almost certainly have a good time with this. Although perhaps try and keep the comparisons out of your mind when you played it, which I didn't quite do. But it's a very different story to Oxenfree - it's a comedy, and thankfully the comedy is actually funny unlike some games where they just fruitlessly throw everything at something and desperately pray that something sticks. If for some bizarre reason you wanted to read my full and much much more detailed thoughts on Afterparty you can find them in the usual place here. Pink thumbnail too - so it's another cricket bat to the throat of cancer, for the Trophies to Fight Cancer Event. You can still join too, even though there's 8 days left, if you've completed anything with Orange or Pink in the thumbnail over the last two months it counts, even now, so consider having a look over what you've played and see if anything fits, and throw a comment into that thread here as every contribution towards that excellent cause is a lovely bonus. What's Next? I think next up I'm going to tackle Mars War Logs - as I should be able to get that done in a day or two, and have that as another one ticked off for the Trophies to Fight Cancer event - and then I might just be able to get VA-11 Hall-A done in time, and that'd take me to a nice ten completions for the event I think. If I can fit in anymore then I will, but we'll see. Loving reading everyone's progress as ever! Keep it up folks. I would literally have had no idea if you hadn't posted that. Talk about doing a public service, honestly thank you - I went straight to the store and bought that pretty much straight away. I'm going to play it in the next week too. So I'll add it to the event - and I guess see how I get on with it. Although I'd be lying if I wasn't a little sad that, that's the last of the awesome Alien Isolation updates, those were a blast to read, but congrats nonetheless. I keep hoping for the version with all the DLC to go on sale, but I've not noticed it go on sale recently - it probably has, I'm just probably too much of a blinkered mole person to notice ?.... But if I see it I'll probably pick it up, the awesome time you had with it sounds like it'd definitely be worth playing - I've always had half an eye on it too. It was getting to be a slog at the end, but I at least had some fantastic company while I got my final titles for the trophies. For as much as I love Symphonia - I'd love to say that that wasn't the case for me when I was nearing the end, but it was for me too. Bits of it definitely do feel like a slog, it's what like 200+ hours by that point? So I definitely understand it. Congrats on that though. Awesome job! I might shoot you a message at some point to see what you think of some of the various bits and bobs from the story, and all that good stuff. I'd be interested to know if you're planning on ever doing Symphonia's sequel. Edited November 24, 2021 by rjkclarke
Popular Post xItsLesterx
Update #1 Here we go with my first update 3 months into the event because that's just the type of person I am ? Before the event started, I had just finished Bloodborne so to stay on that souls-borne like theme, I decided to do Nioh. I've had this game for a longest time, not knowing what I am getting myself into. Same thing happened to me with Wolfenstein II. Well, what can I say? I have never raged so much in a game. Not only did I start the event 2 months late but the game itself was full of BS deaths. Just about everything 1 or 2 hit kills you and that's just not fun. The game had to be beat on the NG++ difficulty, even though it had trophies requiring them to do them on NG+. Why? Beats me. Lots of side missions were just recycled ones from main story and/or 2 bosses at once. It wasn't fair. However, some Bloodborne streamer said Nioh 2 was a much better game, how the first one was much like a testing one and guess what I'm going for after? Yes. I'm a masochist. Don't at me ? I can't do the first game and not the second one if it's gonna expand on the story. I will give them that tho. Story-wise, it was phenomenal. Either way, right now I will be out of town for about 10 days and won't get to it until I get back. I need the break. Doctor told me to uninstall the game but mom didn't raise no bitch ? I have a list of about 30 games, hoping to do at least half of them but given that Nioh took me over 200+ hours, I say if I complete 10 of them, then I will say this event was a success. I'm a lousy trophy hunter and I will move on to another game until I am done with the one I am playing. So instead of listing them all, I will just add whatever progress what I am doing at that time. 1 - Nioh (10% => 100%) Great seeing everyone's progress though. You guys are killing it. Keep up the great work.
