Popular Post Abby_TheLastofUs
The list just went up on Exophase. If you haven't ever played Chrono Cross, and don't want parts of the game spoiled, be weary of this thread because spoilers are going to come up when discussing how to achieve certain trophies. The minigame trophies might annoy some, and could be the most frustrating trophies to get, but they are easier in NG+ due to having the ability to slow down or speed up time. I recommend saving the Dragon minigame trophy for NG+ as not only is it easer with the slow down mechanic, but the in-game rewards for it aren't that great in the first place, so the added effort on you first playthrough isn't worth it. I don't know if it'll work in the remaster, but here's a video guide for winning at roulette that worked in the PSX release. Each ending has its own trophy and most of the endings are missable, so you got to keep track of what the point of no return is for specific endings. Here's a guide for getting every ending. I recommend holding off on reading it till you're done with your initial playthrough. The trophies for getting a Rainbow Weapon and a set of Rainbow armor are missable. The following text contains major spoilers, and detail what you have to do. Taken directly from Chrono Compendium. Spoiler Unlocking Rainbow Equipment There are many requirements to forging rainbow equipment in Chrono Cross. First, you must undertake the following actions: Note: During the six dragons chapter, DO NOT talk to the Black Dragon in Marbule (Another) until you've done the above actions. Otherwise, you will not be able to forge rainbow equipment in the current game. Any time after you reach Termina (Home), go to Zappa's Smithy and get Zappa to join your party. After defeating the Sage of Marbule, go to Nikki's ship and you will learn of his plans to save Marbule. Irenes will now join your party. You must do this step after defeating the Sage of Marbule, or you may lock yourself out of rainbow equipment for the entire playthrough! You can't do anything further in this quest until Fargo joins your party. Once he's done so, bring him to Home's Fargo and he will commandeer the S.S. Zelbess and sail it to Marbule. After Nikki performs, Fargo will gain his Lv. 7 Tech, Invincible, and you will have to defeat all the Lagoonates on the island. Once you've done so, you should hear a dragon's roar. Once you've started the six dragons chapter, go to Marbule (Another) and defeat the Black Dragon (Don't forget to steal the Black Plate). Be sure your party has at least one character who isn't a demi-human (I recommend Fargo, as he can steal); I've heard that if your party is composed entirely of demi-humans, the Black Dragon may not fight you. After defeating FATE, return to Marbule (Home), and go to the cave where the Black Dragon was in Another. Talk to a man there, and buy the Master Hammer from him for 10,000G. Equip Zappa with the Master Hammer. Go to Termina (Another) and talk to Another's Zappa in his shop. Both Zappas will forge a Rainbow Axe. You don't get to keep this axe, but from now on, you can forge rainbow equipment in the Smith Spirit shop. To forge rainbow equipment, you need two special types of materials: A Rainbow Shell, and shiny materials. Rainbow Shells are found in various places throughout the game. To get shiny materials, you must defeat an enemy with a summon element, and they will drop the shiny material that corresponds to the element of the summon you used. All rainbow equipment requires a Shiny Dew (Blue), a Shiny Ember (Red), a Shiny Leaf (Green), and a Shiny Sand (Yellow). All but the Prism Vest and Prism Helmet also require a Shiny Salt (White) and Shiny Soot (Black). There's a trophy for recruiting all party members, which can only be done in New game+, so the platinum is going to take at least two playthroughs. And because you're going to have to do two playthroughs anyway: Spoiler You can recruit Glenn on your second playthrough without having to give up on Kid, but you still need to leave her to get all the frames. ? You can use this recruitment guide. Getting all the frames will require at least two playthroughs as the availability of some are dependent on what story path you take. The Crono wiki has a list of all the frames and how to get them. Not spoiler-free, so I wouldn't click the link till you're done with your first playthrough. Two other trophies that I'm pretty sure are missable due to plot reasons. Spoiler Call of the Wild, and Lunacy I think are missable because those characters leave the party for good eventually. Deadly Delta is also missable because unlocking the level 7 techs required for it can easily be missed. Level 7 techs don't carry over into NG+, so use Deadly Delta before you finish the playthrough in which you made the decisions needed to gain access to it. Spoiler Razzly won't unlock her level 7 tech if she's part of your party that fights the Hydra boss (first boss after you recruit her). Taking her into that battle will lock you out of the DeltaForce triple tech for that playthrough. Early in the game, you have to tell Leena that you remembered her promise. There's a bit more to do to unlock their level 7 techs, but only these two instances make them missable. Not a difficult list, but you're going to have to pay attention to missable and play through the story more than once. I'm estimating that the platinum will take about 30 to 50 hours, unless you rush through things. Radical Dreamers, which is part of the collection, doesn't seem to come with a trophy list. Popular Post Alayaes
With NG+ and the cheats, the endings should be somewhat manageable. The platinum should've been called "Where's Chrono Trigger?"

MidnightDragon
I’m quite impressed with this list. They actually made it a completion run. None of it is hard, but some of it will take a bit. Basically you’ll have to make almost three full runs of the game. For the endings, I believe you can just play to certain parts of NG+, then reload. The ability to skip battles will be a godsend, but you do have to fight 500 times, so maybe not until then. Helyx
Getting all characters won't be so bad, and feeding the dragons in the stable will be annoying, but I don't remember how to get all the frames (could be a slog). Some of these trophies are all over the place, ranging from too easy (flee from a battle) to a pain in the ass (10,000 points in roulette). Popular Post PostGameBlues
I've only played Chrono Trigger and not Chrono Cross, so this game has my interest but I'm not sure if I'm getting it on release with Patch 6.1 for FFXIV coming next week. I'm also still (foolishly) waiting for the FF1-6 Pixel Remaster to be ported to PS4/5 with trophy support...
TalalHmd
Since NG+ is required, I’ll do a blind play through first and the second run for trophy hunting How long will this platinum (approximately) take? Raidou Kuzunoha XIV
I've played both Chrono Cross and Radical Dreamers previously, and am in no rush to replay them. But the trophy list seems nice (even though it does seemingly exclude Radical Dreamers). If I ever buy it for PS4 (I've got the physical Asian version for Switch pre-ordered), I may make it a milestone platinum, eventually. I basically already 100%ed this game previously, so I don't think it should be too difficult.

It says that it releases at 9pm Pacific Time on April 6, which is 13 hours from now. Since the release time is so late today, it releases "today" (April 6) in some timezones, and "tomorrow" (April 7) in others. But 13 hours from now either way. starcrunch061
I would be stunned if Square did anything but the bare minimum here. Patching out the ability to pause in the roulette game seems like far too much effort. All in all, I think these trophies are OK. I'm a little sad that Miguel doesn't get named in his own trophy. He's one of my favorite characters.

My memory says that the frames were hiding in random places in the environment. I don't think there were any indicators that they were there; you would just go up to, say, a cart of fish, check it, and a frame would be there. I also vaguely recall that the same place might not have the frame at different times in the game.

Alos88
I'll drop money for each FF Pixel Remaster, at this point it's just a matter of time (and you know they'll sell them full price individually, it's Square Enix.)
