A more quiet fixture this time around. @Mesopithecus wins her second round this season and can still avoid relegation from Plat. @Psy-Tychist got an easy enough win against me. Was it a tactical loss on my part or is the FIFA addiction to blame? Who knows..... 

@FallacyUnknown keeps winning in Gold and is on his way to earn promotion back to Plat. Can he keep this up or will ApriIis, Seb or Connie take the second promotion spot?

@madbuk is the first person to beat Reina this season and sits comfortably mid-table in Silver so far. Well done!

In Bronze there are four(!) people on 10 league points at the moment. Final two fixtures should be excting!

So with two fixtures left, we're at the sharp end of the season. Who can gain promotion, who will fall down the pecking order?

 

Platinum League.

 

The title will come down to @Lucas and @NuclearManager with Anorak being unbeaten so far and Lucas' 22 match winning streak just ending last fixture. Their match for the title will be the last fixture of the season, so unless Lucas loses against Krazy_99 this fixture, whoever wins the last match will be crowned champion. @UGotHitByGunner, @Arctic Cress and @Krazy_99 are all fighting over third place which would be the best placing for Gunner or Krazy if they finish there. Definitely safe to fight for another season in Platinum though. I'm trying to guarantee by Platinum status after a rather disastrous start to the season and can guarantee that with a win against Jello. Next season will be my season (again). After winning their last fixture @Mesopithecus has made the relegation battle much more interesting. @Jello, @GTA_Darren and Meso sit in and around the relegation zone with @Wdjat Prinny Doods sitting on the bottom. Meso has the hardest matches against Arti and Gunner to finish but also surviving hurricane season (best wishes). Prinny is still working on his lazy season very well and is the most likely to be relegated to Gold. Jello and Darren need a win to keep their hopes of staying in Platinum alive, but anyone can go down.

 

Gold League.

 

@Master_Mayhem_ is closing in on being the Gold Champion, just his old nemesis and an old hand keep him from an unbeaten season and a second championship. It isn't guaranteed yet though and stranger things have happened. @FallacyUnknown is sitting pretty in the second place spot at the moment but the other promotion spot to Platinum is up for grabs to 4 competitors. Fallacy needs a win and a draw to guarantee that second place, @Sebastian needs to beat Mayhem and Havoc to grab that second place and hope Fallacy doesn't get two wins. The same for @ApriIis, needing to beat Havoc and having a free win on the last day can guarantee second place if Fallacy also doesn't win their remaining two fixtures. If @Connie can beat Fallacy in their match and their final match against stupid0089, they have to hope that Aprilis and Sebastian only win one of their two remaining matches to steal that second spot. @Berendsapje and @Havoc273 are safe for another season, although they can still finish higher than their current positions and fight for promotion next season. With Shogun removed from the season, there is only one spot for relegation and it can go to either @xZoneHunter or @stupid0089 with the winner of their matchup nearly guaranteed to stay in Gold. If Zone loses, it'll be the lowest that they have been in the League since they re-entered in Season 33 and if stupid0089 is relegated it will break a streak of 6 seasons in Gold. Time will tell on which record is broken.

 

Silver League.

 

@Reinachii- leads on score against @Doylus91 at the top of Silver. After their first loss in a 14 match streak, Reinachii now has to match or beat what Doylus does to keep the top spot. The spots at the top are not safe as both @Syr_Rys and @Zephyr-pt both can be promoted if results fall their way. If Doylus beats Zephyr and Reina wins, Syr_Rys and Zephyr will stay in Silver for another season. If Reina loses one match out of the final two, Zephyr beats Doylus and wins their final match and Syr_Rys wins their two matches; all four will be on 14 points and the winner will be decided total points. So many combinations can lead to a different winner of Silver at the moment, we'll only know who has the best chance on the final match up. @madbuk has a very outside chance of being promoted, but that needs Reina and Doylus to lose both matches and to beat Syr_Rys and their final match to have that slim chance. In any case, they are safe at least. @Brawler and @Yuna are mostly safe, but if @TheScruffyton beats Brawler and makes a big comeback in their final match neither are safe. With Yuna sorting her new house out, @UltraDog177 can make that jump away from the relegation zone and stay safe in Silver. @cjninja125, winless in the seven matches so far has to win their final two matches to have a sniff of staying in Silver, but is most likely to be in Bronze for next season.

 

Bronze League.

 

@KPWCORE came in swinging to the League and has smashed through all opponents and has the best chance of being promoted to Silver, winning one more match will guarantee that and become champion of Bronze. That second place though has four competitors who can go up and it's a free for all. @UnboundedCash99 has the toughest match against @RedbeardRik to keep in the running but has the highest total score. If he wins against Rik and their final match they have the second spot. @ShinobiMonk winning his final two matches and scoring more than Cash will put them in the second spot, being only 200pts behind. If Rik beats Cash, then winning the final match will come down to how much his score is at the end of the season. The race for points on the table will become the race for points in the match. @UnwaveringSoul_ has a chance, but needs to beat the top dog to be able to clinch a promotion spot, but I think that he's happy with finishing the season in lazy mode. @serrated-banner9 has had a good first season considering how new their profile is, good start for next season and safe from the bottom spot. @IrishNelly, @freddie1989 and @DEMONICRUBLE18 have been having a chill season and are all nearly safe from the bottom spot and can compete next season for promotion. @YieuY props up the table with a winless season so far and will get to have the wooden spoon if they don't win their match against IrishNelly. I'll start inscribing soon.

A more quiet fixture for the most part. @Master_Mayhem_ and @KPWCORE managed to secure their 1st place in the Gold League and Bronze League respectively. Congrats on becoming the first two league champions of the season and on getting your promotion to Plat and Silver secured!

 

@RedbeardRik defeated UnboundedCash99 in the highest scoring match of the fixture, but anything can still happen in the fight for promotion in Bronze! Still one last important fixture to go.

 

In Silver, @Reinachii- and @Doylus91 have secured their promotion to Gold, but either of them can still win Silver this season. Reina has the upper hand with a substantial lead in total score, but you never know...

 

In Gold, @ApriIis seems to have second place secured as well. All he has to do to get promotion back to Plat is earn 1 trophy in the final fixture to get his 2 points for the fixture. That seems doable . Unless @FallacyUnknown can double his total score in the final fixture???

 

In Platinum, I cut it way too close this fixture against Krazy but still got my win. Final match against @NuclearManager will decide the champion. Good luck!

Annoyingly I earned another trophy 5 minutes after the fixture ended so that could have been an upset lol. I honestly thought I wouldn't have had a chance to beat you this season so ended up taking it fairly easy this fixture

Yeah, I saw. That would've been annoying ?. I tried to score as low as possible, and counted on you earning just 1 more trophy in that final half hour, based on what you were playing. Thankfully I was right but it was a gamble for sure

currently 9th @freddie1989 has tried his hardest this season but only 3 points leave him in the bottom 3. he can only move up to 8 but he will have to beat @UnboundedCash99 who will definitely be looking for a easy win to keep his promotion hopes alive. if he does win he will have to hope that @DEMONICRUBLE18 lose to @ShinobiMonk who also would want a easy win to keep his promotion hopes alive so chances are Monk will win. he would also need to score at least 52.6 points to have scored more this season then @DEMONICRUBLE18 and that is not including whatever he scores during this finale so chances are he will stay 9th

That's it, the main season has come to an end! This season didn't have the wild ups and downs and incredible scoring as last season but Season 36 was a record breaker in nearly all categories. Congrats to all who have competed and I hope that everyone enjoyed their battles.

Another season has come to an end, I’m starting to feel like a veteran now lol. I didn’t feel the excitement of previous seasons but that’s probably because my nemesis Seb was having a quite season. I did have a great match up with Connie that was a load of fun, thanks buddy. I know next season will be fun as I get the chance to brush shoulders with the big boys of the Platinum league.

 

CWC should be interesting. Some great gamers involved who we know can score big. Whatever happens it will be an honour to play against you guys.
