LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

from BestBuy.

Two editions and either come with a free steel-book. Decided to get the Deluxe for $10 more as it included a mini-fig, a Darth Vader sleeve & a bunch of character DLC.

 

I don’t pre-order much but I have so much nostalgia with the original LEGO Star Wars Saga. It also has a much, much longer than any LEGO game to date, which makes me pretty assured it’ll be the least buggy LEGO game to date despite packing in the most amount of (hopefully unique) content.

I don't preorder games anymore.  I play through my backlog.  I save a lot of money and I don't have to deal with spending a lot of money on games that are broken or filled with bugs and problems at launch.  People are still playing most games several years after they launch anyway.  No reason for me to jump on the preorder hype train.

Two games atm. I'll probably just buy the new Mario Party and SMT V shortly after release. SMT V is really tempting to preorder but it's just so damn close to my birthday/Christmas that I might just ask for it as a gift. I'll figure it out a little closer to release. REALLY excited for these two though.

Admittedly, I've gone a bit overboard from Limited Run Games and was buying things just for my collection that I never plan on playing such as Alphadia Genesis and Miden Tower so I might just sell those when they come in. I also couldn't afford the collectors edition for two of my three ordered Shantae games so I will most likely take the Risky's Revenge game out and sell the rest of the Collectors Edition contents.

 

I also want a few games that are already out such as Deathloop, Diablo II: Resurrected, Catlateral Damage Remeowstered, and some DLC for games like My Hero One's Justice 2.

 

Juggling all of these along with my anime figure and trading card collections has been stressful lately so I have been cutting back in the past month and have been selling some of my older games, figures, and cards. This list is also mainly for me to keep up with my preorders myself lol. Although all of the Limited Run games have been paid for.

I only preorder a few games a year, usually. I typically only preorder digital games. My logic is that they can usually be preloaded on your console and sometimes they have digital preorder bonuses. 

Pretty sure I've only preordered half a dozen or so physical games in my entire life. Last one was Super Smash Bros. Ultimate so I could get the exclusive coin collectable from Best Buy.

So... kinda funny, kinda not story. I made the same mistake twice in one week when it comes to pre-ordering the wrong edition. I meant to buy the Deluxe Version of Sherlock Holmes for the DLC and I accidentally did the Standard. And then I meant to do the Standard of Sifu because I don't care about the extras. And I accidentally did the Deluxe. And I'm not sure if it's worth the effort contacting Sony to try and change them or not, haven't had great experiences with their Live Chat.

Another LEGO game, another years. Have the deluxe edition pre-ordered for PS4, but I might switch it to the PS5 edition. Nothing explicitly says it, but normally these deluxe editions come with a season pass for further DLC.

The last game I pre-ordered was Oddworld Soulstorm earlier this year, which was primarily to support Oddworld Inhabitants.

 

That was the first time I'd ordered a game since Twisted Metal came out for PS3 in 2012.  At the moment, I'm not looking to pre-order anything, although I might just make an exception for Doki Doki Literature Club, even though I've just finished playing it digitally.
