Came across this site when Googling for an Issue with a specific game.  I signed up because people seemed to be very friendly back then and I thought ''Why not''. Still am active around the Forums because I've met a fantastic deal of people here, otherwise I would have abandoned by now like I did with previous gaming Forums.

I was seduced by the trophy cards, since I like collecting trophies. Then I actually looked around the site and the forums and I thought this all looks pretty awesome so signed up and became a premium member. I love it here, there's a lot of nice people and it's a great community to be a part of.

If I remember correctly, it was on the end of 2014, then the beginning of 2015 happened. I was just looking at my profile on the official PlayStation website, then I searched my profile on Google, then I found this site.

I only joined on the 5th of July, because I didn't have time back then. I was about to join on the 20th of June (the date I earned my 2nd Platinum, FIFA 15), but I had to go really bad.

I just wanted to look for guides, that's all.

Well, here I am today!

I googled my username and discovered this website had my information on it. I decided to immediately claim it before someone else did.

(Figured if someone else claimed to be me they could damage the image I've been trying to build since 2010.)

I was looking for a guide for the bridges you have to fly under in GTAV and came across the site that way. Normally I don't join forums but this place looked pretty cool and GTAV had just inflicted the trophy bug upon me, so I decided to join. Glad I did!

I found it while looking for trophy walkthroughs but never signed up. It was a friend who introduced me when I asked him what trophies he has on Facebook and instead he sent me a link to his PSN profile which showed all the completion %, time taken etc. and his trophy cards. I didn't know the site had the feature but I thought it was cool so I joined as the idea of having all my trophies to share easily online seemed like a great idea. Also, it's fun to talk about gaming stuff on the forums here.

Long long time ago, before I had internet (AKA pre-2014) I tracked my trophy data via an excel spreadsheet and manually calculated my trophy level because I wanted to overcome my older brother. In googling, I found this website and I distinctly remember a Homefront gaming session (I think it was a thread back then) wanting to get the large-multiplayer trophy before the servers closed down. I decided that I wanted to join the website after I got internet and so I joined the day I got internet- August 25th, 2014.

I was googling "free porn files" and I guess I mistyped...thought "f**k it, I'm an avid gamer" and signed up...in all seriousness I used to stalk gaming websites discreetly offering gta iv help in boosting forums and such...this site hardly had anything when I joined...interesting to see the developments over the years and kind of surprised that I now browse the forums on my breaks throughout the day as a form of entertainment...

i've noticed an increase in talks lately of the site becoming "toxic"...i thought so too for a bit then realized "nope, still the same"...there's tons of good stuff here and a broad range of opinions, states of evolution, and knowledge to be found...focus on the good and you'll see it everywhere...focus on the bad and well, you'll see it everywhere too...

I found this site when I was looking for platinum guides... can't remember which game.
I really like the way that guides are set up-- how you can click on the link in the navigation pane rather than have to scroll through everything to get to what you want. The entire website is actually aesthetically-pleasing and user-friendly. Being a numbers nerd, I really like the built-in stats. These are why I joined.

I'm surprised that anyone thinks this. I've only been on here about a year, but this is one of the most friendly gaming sites I've been on. I've seen a couple things that have ruffled some feathers, but it's like 99 positive posts for every 1 dickish post. Even on topics that are "controversial" or divisive, people are still generally respectful.
I guess I do see a lot of butt-hurt people in the game dispute subforum... but the mods/admins are generally very professional (I'd personally be a lot less professional with a cheater) and especially helpful if it turns out that someone's flagged game wasn't warranted.
