Popular Post CelestialRequiem
I can definitely empathize how this death will be for some people. I still think about Kentarou Miura passing away nearly three years ago. Toriyama has had insane media influence. It sucks he left us this young.

Popular Post SegaJAM
Creator of the Dragon Ball series, character designer of Chrono Trigger and the Dragon Quest series. Akira Toriyama's contributions to both anime and gaming are absolutely legendary and we're fortunate to have been able to experience his works in our lifetime. RIP Akira Toriyama!

Popular Post Jeanolt
This is so sad and shocking to hear, he meant so much for me in my childhood, in some way it's one of the most influential persons in my life. May he rest in peace. I think the company he worked for (Toei) won't let DB just end, so we'll never see the real end of it; whether it's written by Toyotaro or anyone else, the real end it's what the creator decides. He had some memory problems and health concerns, but I never thought this was going to happen with the story I always loved so much. With respect to his legacy, they should finish the current arc and tangle the end with the DBZ end, which is chronogically later than Super, but we know that isn't going to happen. Greed is always more important. Edited March 8 by Jeanolt

Xensid02
It is always regrettable to find out that someone with such cultural influence is gone. Rest in peace Toriyama
Popular Post Xillynoc
Pop culture as we know it would be unrecognizably different without his work...and he had so much more to do. May he rest in peace, and as Oda said, I hope heaven is as kind as Toriyama imagined it being.
Popular Post Jermster_91
His death feels similar to when Robin Williams passed away, just shocked since you never imagine losing them. Edited March 8 by Jermster_91

Popular Post KenjiCBZ
I am in true pain, he was still relatively young and still working on the series. At least he has accomplished a lot in his lifetime, especially related to Dragon Ball, for us fans to keep enjoying even now that he's no longer with us. Rip master, thank you for your work. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Redgrave
DragonBall Z was one of the first introductions to anime for me and I'll never forget how excited I was waiting for each episode to watch with my friend or cousin and how we would want to be Super Saiyans. It's also kind of a funny coincidence since yesterday while helping out in a Raid on Destiny me and the group I was with were talking about DBZ and joked about how us talking about it helped us beat the raid. So it's kind of strange to think about how just yesterday we were all talking about that not knowing Akira Toriyama would pass a day later. Rest in Peace.
