Popular Post Cave Johnson
Demon's Souls Toughest Soul Trophy All Trophies Obtained Because I heard the servers were closing soon, I started Demon's Souls about two weeks ago. I don't really care for the PVP or co-op, but I like the other online features. I ended up playing offline most of the time though, due to connection problems. I never had a single problem with connecting to the servers in Dark Souls, but it rarely ever worked for me in Demon's Souls. Playing offline is actually better for getting the trophies anyway; controlling world tendency is impossible online. I'll probably wait a day or two and then start Dark Souls II. Initially, I planned on playing something else in between, but these games are just too damn good.
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#80 - Assassin's Creed Origins "Earn Them All!" Earn every trophy. I'm so glad to play another good AC game again! The AC series was one of the first I got in to back in the Xbox360 days, and I loved the early entries. However, the quality dropped off noticeably since then, with only Black Flag (one of my favourites in the series) to break the streak of 'poor' titles. Origins is a sprawling, rewarding, fun open-world game with great variety... but is unfortunately hamstrung with a few new and returning problems. I think this is clearly one of the top AC games in the series (Brotherhood, II and Black Flag my other highlights), and is definitely worth a play, but here's a brief summary of some main points. Good: Bayek was cool; not as suave as Ezio, but not as lame as Connor haha Beautiful world and locations; pyramids, oases, cities, clashing of culture, etc. all combined to make an absolutely gorgeous game Details (such as sandstorms, animations, sound effects, hallucinations) combined with the graphics to produce an amazing world Fun, new weapons and combat style; lots of skills to develop the systems too. Much better than many other AC games to date! ‘Eagle vision’ (literally) with Senu was great; I'm going to miss being able to explore the beautiful open world in a game like this from up high whenever I want Some ‘main’ assassination missions were fantastic; Memphis and the Faiyum in particular stood out to me for their emotional weight and intrigue. Tombs (particularly pyramids) were mysterious and exciting; one of my favourite parts Some interesting and varied side missions; not as good as Witcher 3, but some come close Hard difficulty felt like a good challenge; never too hard (being able to stealth through many engagements), but challenging enough that you could die when surrounded if you weren't careful Fun diversions (horse-racing, gladiator fights, etc.) Bad: Messy and rushed story; particularly final act (pacing all over the place, cutscenes break things up, poor boss design, lack of explanation) Poorly-developed characters and motivations. Some of the main bad guys are barely introduced before they are killed with their own cutscene… this loses emphasis when I barely even know who they are As the game went on, missions / forts / animal lairs, etc. began to feel repetitive Similarly, weapons / fighting got repetitive and boring by the end with no new moves / weapon types added after I'd got certain skills in early-to-mid game Upgrade system too simple; got all upgrades very quickly without much ‘hunting’ Easy to max out everything early (level 40 2/3 of the way through the game while exploring everything as I went)... though to be fair I do explore a LOT in games like this (90 hours for completion with everything haha) Modern-day components are boring and next-to-pointless. Good final reveal, but I badly miss the days of Desmond and co (not so much for Desmond himself as for the mystery and intrigue behind events in the AC: Brotherhood days) It might look like I'm bagging on the game, but it's only because there are some small things that prevent this beautiful game from being 'amazing'. I'd absolutely recommend a playthrough for basically anyone; but don't expect the story to blow you away. Definitely worth it Game rating: 8/10 Plat difficulty: 2/10 (nearly impossible to miss unless you screw up the 'trinket' trophy... otherwise, feel free to play on easy)
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
I'm Batman This is the kind of stuff I like to see in any adaptation; one that keeps to the spirit of a franchise, but does it in it's own way. I've always been one that felt adaptations lose something when they adhere to strictly to the source material, so I'm glad this game took the opportunity to shake things up a bit. It's also another reason for me to shill PS Plus, because once again they came through with a good one. Though I will say that on a technical side, I did have one crash, but thankfully nothing corrupted, and there was some lag, although the final chapter played silky smooth for some reason. Oh, and I adore that tune that plays at the end. What better way to end a TENSE ACTION PACKED SUPER DRAMATIC chapter than with the mysterious uncertain sounds of a quiet music box jingle? Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #18 - BioShock (PS4) Difficulty Rating 6/10 (no exploits) Enjoyment Rating 8/10 Platinum Rarity - 16.67% Completion Rarity - 4.70% It has been nearly a decade since I last played BioShock on Xbox 360. My most recent PS4 experience makes playthrough #2. I want to say sooo much about this masterpiece but spoiling it here for anyone who hasn't played it wouldn't be doing it justice. I don't even want to reference the glorious reveal at the very beginning, it needs to be seen through the gamer's own eyes. What I can say is that BioShock is a first-person shooter that plays very differently from others in the genre. You have guns as well as these things called plasmids that give you supernatural powers. You can also hack secruity cameras, turrets and sentry bots to do your bidding. These mechanics come into play a lot and change your outlook on what a first person shooter is really capable of. Not to mention the gameplay, story, characters and setting are all very genuine and original. This is what I like to call a first person shooter with appeal. In a sea of Call of Duty games, once in a while a shooter will come along and really change things up. Other good examples would be Half-Life, Metroid Prime, Wolfenstein & DOOM. My enjoyment rating would of been a perfect ten, but it isn't without it's shortcomings. Mainly the PS4 version that is inside "BioShock The Collection." Many glitches are here and were never fixed or patched. Sometimes your saved game will corrupt for no apparent reason, you'll go to load it up where you left off and it'll say "failed to load." This happened to me once in the middle of my campaign run and I nearly flipped. Good thing my autosave loaded up though, I may have had to do one level all over again but it was better than starting the game from the beginning. There is also a good chance your game will crash just by pausing the game and/or by pressing the PS button on your DualShock 4. That's right, you heard me correctly. You need to save your game often but that requires pausing the game first. Also, major frame drops during certain Big Daddy fights, I mean really bad. Your experience may be different than mine but if the PS4 version is on your to do-list, make sure to have multiple saves. If it all sounds too risky, I'm sure the PS3 version would suffice and be a lot cheaper If you plan on going for this game's Platinum, I'll mention all the important things to keep in mind. Play on Survivor difficulty, disable Vita-chambers, collect all audio logs, rescue all Little Sisters, take pictures of every type of enemy till their research is maxed out, collect find and invent plasmids and tonics till you reach a max of 58, upgrade all weapons, buy every slot for your plasmids/tonics etc. Yes, there are lots of missables, but there is a great video on YouTube done by PS4Trophies that will keep you in line with all collectibles during your playthrough. You can return to most places in the game with the exception of Welcome to Rapture which has two needed audio logs and Rapture Central Control which has three needed audio logs. I should probably mention that doing New Game+ on the PS3 version locks you out of earning trophies but the PS4 version at least makes that okay. If you're brave enough to take on the Challenge Rooms which are required to get 100%, you'll find that the first two rooms are rather easy once you get the pattern down but the third and final one takes some serious practice. Look to certain video guides and study them carefully but most will just be after the Platinum itself. If you haven't played the original BioShock yet, do it now! It is an unforgettable experience unlike any other! ^o^

Popular Post SirPigFace
LIFE IS STRANGE: BEFORE THE STORM My 100th Platinum I honestly didn't find this anywhere near as good as the first one in my opinion. If you had of played this one first, it might of felt a lot better to play. It just seemed like they had a lot of success with the first one so they tried to throw out another one. I am not very optimistic about them releasing a 3rd one, think I will give it a miss. Edited January 8, 2018 by SirPigFace
Popular Post Bumperklever
Already the second one of the year #60 Psycho-Pass Mandatory Happiness (PSVita) Trophy Complete Date Achieved: 8 January 2018Rarity: Uncommon (27-28%)Enjoyment: 6.5/10 I enjoyed getting the first ending, then it became more of the same, since all the endings came close to the same thing. So other then the 'Magical Song' ending (which I liked) it was just clicking away the same text over and over again. It also doesn't help that text skipping is really slow. whenever a new character comes on the screen it takes forever and in a conversation with atleast 5 people.. oh boy. Also first time for me that my vita heated insanely for playing a VN... Well atleast I am mildly interested into watching the anime. And I got to play 2048 again after so many years EDIT: Damn the first episode of psycho-pass was sick! Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 162 - DmC DEVIL MAY CRY Date of achievement : January, 7, 2018 Enjoyment : 9,0 Difficult: 6,0 Hardest Trophy: Devils never cry/And welcome to Hell! DmC Devil May Cry is a hack and slash game developed by Ninja Theory for the last generation of consoles. The game was also marked as the first reboot/alternate for the series, while the game was very well received critic wise, it also suffered some backlash from some "fans"that bashed the new Dante. In hindsight after weighting all the pros and cons, the game is a fun game that delivers some great new gameplay mechanics and has well crafted level designs. As a reboot/alternate version for the series, the game tells the story of a younger Dante in pursue of the Demon King, Mundus, After teaming up with Vergil, his lost twin brother, he discovers that the Demon King was the one responsible for the death/banishment of his parents. He also discovers that the target manipulates the human world with the comforts of life, which leads Dante into his revenge/redemption quest to take down Mundus and release the humans from the grasps of the Demon King. In the end, after evening all the odds, the game definitely deserves some praise for the awesome gameplay, sure it has some problems and some WTF moments that may question the most ardent fans, but that doesn't take it away the amount of fun and enjoyable moments from the game.

Popular Post Leaderboards
I came for the booty Stayed for the amazing story, characters, game play, and music Left when my save files got deleted No amount of words I type in this post will justify the greatness of these games! These are some of the BEST games I ever played! I shed some tears lol. I am so grateful to be alive and experience these games in my life! Spoiler-ish below, I don't want to hear any whining! Nier Series Done, SON! The Final Verse Congratulations! Thanks for playing! #22 Yoko Taro is a master of story-telling. His ability to re-contextualize the story through multiple playthroughs is a work of art. I hope he succeeds more in the future! I will never forget my adventures with Father, Kaine, Emil, and Weiss! Despite it's flaws, this game has an immense amount of soul and feeling to it I never have experienced in a game! Favorite side quest: The old lady of the lighthouse quest line. I did every side quest too. Some were kinda lame. Favorite weapon: Phoenix Spear Favorite magic: Dark Blast, Dark Hand, and Dark Lance Favorite boss: All of them! Very unique boss designs. Favorite area: Facade/Desert Best moments in the game: All the parts of the story The cinematics when your character executes a boss, very stylish! The banter between party members, really funny stuff! Getting the DLC costumes Walking into the Junk Heap for the first time, the music! So many moments, can't remember them all! Least favorite thing in the game: Gathering all the materials to upgrade the 30 weapons, but the DLC areas made it easier to farm. Favorite soundtrack: ALL OF THEM! One of the best soundtracks I ever heard! But if I had to choose one: Nier:Automata 4 Final Words Thank you for playing. #23 I got all the trophies legit, no trophy shop needed. I was really tempted to use it though. Getting the last Elaborate Gadgets to upgrade Pod C drove me nuts! I wanted to buy 1 trophy originally though, the kill 10 innocent robots trophy, but when farming the big bunny robot, there was some...collateral damage lol. This game took Nier and improved it 100x better! Game play and quality of life (menu, side quests, collecting items, fishing, etc.) vastly improved! Having Platinum Games help develop this game was one of the best decisions ever made. The combat feels sooooo good! Character designs are sexy as fffffffffffffk. This game reminds me of Dark Souls because of it's interconnected world with no loading screens. Nier (PS3) had too many loading screens. I will never forget my adventures with 2B, 9S, A2, Pascal, Operator 60, Operator 210, Pod 042, and Pod 153 and the rest of the cast! Final stats: Level 99 Game Time: 67 hours, 26 minutes Quests, Archives, Tutorials, Weapon Stories, Picture Books, and Novel: 100% complete Unit Data: 95% Fishing (lol >_>): 56% Favorite Weapons: Ancient Overlord and Iron Pipe Favorite chips: Doritos Cool Ranch Taunt +8 Critical +8 Counter+8 Overclock +8 Weapon Attack Up +8 Offensive Heal+8 Item Drop Rate +8 Auto-Collect Item-Scan Favorite pods: Pod B + Bomb Skill and Pod A + Blade Skill Favorite areas: Amusement Park and all the Desert areas My favorite moments (so many!) = Beating Father Servo (Level 60) quest line as a level 25, countering his final form with Counter +6 chip was so satisfying Beating Lord of the Valley quest as a low level using Taunt +6 and Critical +6 chips and dodging like a mofo Walking into the Amusement park for the first time Doing the Lost Sister quest, then when turning in the quest, the music changes to children singing. Then receiving ribbons to wear. Fighting the Emil Clones with A2 Getting all the joke endings THIS CANNOT CONTINUE THIS CANNOT CONTINUE ALL HAVE BECOME GODS!!!!!!! The whole prologue sequence in the abandoned factory All the boss fights So many moments, can't remember them all! Favorite wiafu: A2 has some sass...and @ss >:) Favorite soundtrack: ALL OF THEM! One of the best soundtracks I ever heard! But if I had to choose one: (2:40, that violin, is an eargasm!) Ok! Thanks for reading everyone /hurls poop /hurls cupcakes Now to play/plat several other series: Life is Strange, SuperGiant games (Bastion, Trans, Pyre) and Scary Shit in Space (DeadSpace, Prey, Doom, Alien Isolation, etc.) Along with some Yakuza 0 on the side...lol X_X Edited January 9, 2018 by Trophy Huntress

Popular Post Jesaya815
# 250 LEGO The Hobbit The Road Goes Ever On Collect every trophy A few days ago I saw the light at the end of the tunnel (which is a trophy from "Aer - Memories of Old" and my 10,000th trophy), only to find out that "The Road Goes Ever On". LEGO The Hobbit is a very good game and beautiful in every way - just like the movies, although The Lord of the Rings trilogy was better in my opinion. It's also longer than other LEGO games. At least it felt that way with all the Free Roam stuff going on. They really put in a lot of work and effort here, while trying out some different things, like crafting objects that are required for side missions or red bricks. The open world is also bigger than in Jurassic World for example, which I played a little over a month ago. It's still a shame that they didn't make a DLC for the third Hobbit movie like they promised.
Popular Post Melty
# 15 : DANGANRONPA V3: KILLING HARMONY Harmony's Last Reward Acquire all trophies. Ahhh this game was tons of fun. The story was really fun and engaging. I loved the fact that lies were a big part of the games narrative. The ending has to be one of my favorites in gaming history, it was so danganronpa. I loved the side content especially the RPG Despair Dungeon. The only complaints I really have was the mastermind was kind of easy to figure out and the last trial was pretty drawn out. Also that Treasure monolith mini-game , whoever at Team Danganronpa that made that can go choke on a cactus. That mini-game had me like This could be a cool end to a series that I enjoy and I wouldn't even be mad. If they add some new entries later in the future I hope it adds even more despair. If you like danganronpa this game is a wonderful edition to the franchise you should definitely give it a play-through. Here's best girl telling you that you should buy this game.

Here are my stats when I had every trophy except 5000 losses: The time in the guide is just not some exaggerated minimum time, more like the time expected. You can easily end up wasting hours on certain levels alone. Crazy if you did that in 22 hours on first go of the game. Almost suspiciously fast, because even devs estimate speedrunners to do it in more time. Congratulations though. And 2 and a half days before the second fastest, strange, because people stack this platinum and you got old N pros doing it too.
