Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 170 - MASS EFFECT 3 Date of achievement : February, 15, 2018 Enjoyment : 9,0 Difficult: 5,0 Hardest Trophy: Unwavering 6 months after the events of Mass Effect 2, the Reapers invade and quickly overcomes Earth. Overwhelmed by their attack, Shepard is instructed by Anderson, to assemble a squad and counter attack the Reapers once more, alongside James and the Virmire survivor (Ashley/Kaidan), Shepard is ordered to Mars by Hackett, in hopes of funding some new clues on how to defeat then, there Shepard discovers that Cerberus is also on the hunt, while searching Shepard stumbles upon Liara, who informs that she discovered a Prothean super weapon which can destroy the Reapers. While backing some of the data, The Illusive Man intervenes and shares his true intention which is control of the Reapers. He quickly dispatch his AI to secure the data, which severely injures Ashley/Kaidan and manages to escape with the data. Back in the Normandy Shepard informs of the failure of the mission and debriefs all the new knowledge with the Council which still refuses to assist humanity. Hackett then orders Shepard to forge alliances by aiding other species on their own battles against the Reapers and earn their loyalty, which informs that a galactic war against Reapers and Cerberus is nigh, the fate of humanity and all other species depends on it and we must all work together in hopes of winning. Just like it's predecessor, Mass Effect 3 is a action RPG with high emphasis on Renegade/Paragon option, here everything that happened across the series intertwines leading to a climax of events that may be or not unique to every player, the fate of the galaxy never looked so good and we are the beacon of hope that may or not save the galaxy. Mass Effect 3 also introduced a refined cover system which allowed the gameplay to feel more fluid, apart from the new gameplay tweaks, the game also introduced a new ccop mode, that allows you to earn some new readiness that will help you fight back when all hell breaks lose. All things considered, Mass Effect 3 was truly a majestic achievement despite some release date problems regarding the ending. A game with this amount of lore and background was bound to deliver some mixed reception, and by being EA we should know by now that it could have being possible from the very start, regardless of that and by hearing fans/haters alike they quickly dispatched a probe of new information into the game which frankly was very sincere and complete. Commander Sheppard mark will always be remembered and Mass Effect 3 deserves the spot on the matter.
Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#178: Salt & Sanctuary I've been waiting a long time to play this love child of Dark Souls and the metroidvania genre and it was definitely worth the wait. People who have played any of the Souls games will feel very familiar with this as most of the mechanics and controls are the same. Even the story is just as ambiguous and to understand it all, the lore on descriptions must be read. Then there are NPCs that move to different locations and their dialogue must be exhausted before taking on certain bosses. It took a bit to get used to the 2D format, but after an hour or so it all felt natural. As with Demon's Souls, I wanted to defeat the prologue boss too to get the rewards. However, this took 13 attempts to get it done, which was a good opportunity to try out all the classes. It was so worth it though, as the rewards are pretty good to start the game with. The Charms are a nice addition too, these give permanent effects to weapons for as long as they're equipped. The boss fights are unique too, which is always a good thing. Some of them weren't required for the plat, but I still defeated them all. The skill tree had its advantages and disadvantages. It's a good way to see which build to create for the character, but on the other hand not having a node unlocked also means not being able to equip certain weapons, armour, or even shields. One thing I didn't like was how there wasn't a better weapon to be found for almost half of the game. I did find starting gear for other classes, but nothing better. So it took ages and lots of retries to defeat a few of the bosses with my crappy starting weapon. Especially the Kraeken Wyrm was challenging, but eventually they all went down. That moment when I found an awesome Tachi when exploring made it all worthwhile, which is also the weapon I used for the remainder of the game. I also liked the pumpkin head helmet a lot, as that reminded me of Halloween and the Headless Horseman, which felt fitting for such a game. For the armour I went with something that was aesthetically pleasing. Though my biggest gripe with the game were certain platforming sections with disappearing platforms in the Pitchwoods. This couldn't be skipped as there was a trophy tied to reaching the Creed at the end. All in all a great 2D Souls game, which I recommend to everyone that likes the Souls games. Here's an image of my character's stats after defeating the final boss Spoiler
Popular Post merciful84
Platinum Trophy Unlocked when all trophies collected. This is probably my least favorite platinum so far...not because the game is bad or anything but due to how BORING and time intensive a lot of the trophies are! I usually look forward to continuing my gaming experience by moving onto the DLC for whatever game I'm playing but this is one of those extremely rare instances where I just cannot bring myself to do so, especially after seeing that the trophy list for them appear to be even worse. The gameplay is mediocre at best and doesn't make up enough for pursuing trophies whose fun is the equivalent of watching paint dry. Maybe one rainy day, I'll return to Mafia 2 but there are just way too many games in my backlog that are begging to be played and I just don't feel like giving this game anymore of my time and energy. Popular Post Kristycism
#33: Fe Sustain Forest Love I'm not supposed to be buying new games until I've played the rest of my backlog, but I just loved the idea of this one, and the art style in the trailer was absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed the game as a whole, it was cute and a nice relaxing platformer for the most part. And I kind of like the way they did the storytelling. Although the way the characters join voices is kinda weird but never mind. It was very short though (story took me around 3-4 hours then I was just running around finding collectibles that I'd missed after that) so I dunno that it's worth the full £16 price tag, I'd probably wait for a sale. Easy platinum though even without a guide telling you where the collectibles are. But I'd have played it even without the plat being added (which, tbh, I don't think the game should even have a plat as there's not that much to it, but nvm, not my decision obviously)

A very enjoyable platinum that would have been even more enjoyable if not for the f***ing crashes (there were many for me). If this game didn't have an auto-save system I would have said "f this" and waited for a patch. Ok, bitching over. I still loved this game.
Popular Post Lava_Yuki
黒蝶のサイケデリカ (Psychadelica of the Black Butterfly) Enjoyment: 7/10: Thrilling but heart wrenching story that really digs into your emotions. Almost every ending is tragic or sad in some way, but the story is compelling and makes you want to read more. The downside for otome fans is this is hardly an otome game as it has barely any if any romance, and the routes are not distinct or as sugary as the usual otome games. It focusses heavily on story. The short stories delve more into each character, but as the MC you hence romance with all the guys at once, so there is a strong element of harem as it all occurs in the same timeline and world. I think that may put off some and makes the MC seem a bit sleazy in that all the guys want (and get) a piece of her, but romance is minimal overall. Downside is that it's waaaay to short, the shorted of all games and otome games I've ever played. It could have done with more content and a longer story line. Difficulty: 1/10- nothing hard, very short and can be completed in a day or two. Mini game was super easy, and the flow chart makes it even easier to get all the ending without even a guide. Characters: 4/10, I did not like the MC as I found her too submissive and distant, and also very indecisive. The guys were all mediocre, no one that I would bother screenshot or save gallery images. Karabusa was my favourite, Takuya was ok as well. Hated Kagiha as I found him to be a jealous possessive yandere-ish type. Hikage was boring for me, lacked romance, and Monshiro was cute but very clouded in mystery. I really liked Usagi and her short stories were nice, but I wish she had more of a role in the main story.
Popular Post monkeydluffy512
#253 Master Assassin Assassin's Creed Syndicate Pretty much just more of what was expected of this series. I still find the game play fun but the story is kinda just meh. I guess it was nice to see that they at least trying to piece together a "present day" story line but it's hard to have any interest in it because as long as the series makes money that story will never have to end. I also had an issue with one of the in game missions where I found myself asking "why am I killing this guy?", "is he a Templar or just someone Jacob was mad at?" Turns out that guy was someone who worked with the Templars to achieve he own goals, then tried to rid himself of their influence over him. So ultimately I killed a guy because he was a dick who had ties to the templars. I had other issues with the Jacob and Evie story but I won't go into them. I just hope Origins has a better structured story to go along with the many changes made to the Ass Creed formula. But knowing Ubisoft it will probably be another retread of "somebody died and now is time for revenge, or justice".
Popular Post XIRCHRAD-
#2: Oxenfree (PS4) Leave Possible? Saw a lot of people talk about this game so I decided to pick it up on the sale. It's really good. It starts off as your typical teenage kind of scenario. Get together, plan to do something stupid and it just goes down hill from there. Pretty much the same scenario here. Saying that though it's really well done. I guess it's one of them games where if you say something it gives it away? Gameplay is simple, it's very just chat based, there are collectables but they are easily collected. The areas aren't too big. The game does require 3 playthroughs though which isn't too bad because it's only a couple of hours each. For an Indie game (is it an indie game?) it's really well done. None of the cheesy VA they get. Soundtrack is really well put together and the artwork is really really good. If you can pick it up cheap it's worth a buy. It's a good story, confusing with different endings but yeah, worth it.

That day arrived this January and I can see why people love it. It starts predictable, easy, even a little hand-holding design-wise, and then takes everything it teaches you and puts it to the test BIG TIME. I struggled to find the solution to some of the puzzles and a lot of trial and error took place. However, I had fun throughout and I really enjoyed the aesthetics, the wit and how straightforward the trophies were

Popular Post ExHaseo
#132 - Sword Art Online Lost Song I'm kind of shocked how much I liked this game. I picked this and Hollow Fragment up during a sale shortly after watching the first season of SAO. I liked it, and thought it would be cool to play the actual game, since so little was shown in the series. Anyway, I played Hollow Fragment and did not like it. It was pretty bad. Combat felt really sluggish and awkward. So, I put Lost Song on the backburner. Jump to 6 months later. I went on a trip with my girlfriend and brought my Vita. I was kind of bored with everything on it, and noticed that Lost Song was still installed. I booted it up and I absolutely loved it. The story is about what you'd expect. Kirito and his waifus. But I really like the gameplay. I play it as much as I can while on the trip, but then forgot about it when we got back. Fast forward about a year, and here we are. I started playing it again because I had to let Battle of Z sit in missions for 32 hours. So, my setup was taken over by my PS3 being on pretty much constantly. So, I looked to my Vita, and booted up Lost Song again. I just wanted to beat the story, so I could take it off my backlog, but I fell in love with the gameplay again, and just couldn't stop playing. There were definitely a couple spots that were a bit frustrating (I'm looking at you weapon upgrade trophy), but overall it was really fun list.

Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#95 Ratchet & Clank The Hero of Heroes Collect every trophy in Ratchet & Clank Platinum on 12th February 2018 (2 months, 3 days, 3 hours) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** I didn't play any Ratchet & Clank adventure on PlayStation 2 or 3 but to my surprise I have the chance to experience PS4 version of Ratchet & Clank re-mastered or should I said re-make when it's was one of the Instant Game Collection in 2017 December line-up from PlayStation Plus (Asia). Anyway it was also one of my "must play" games lists on PlayStation 4. The storyline is like every adventure Hero's story, save the earth, save this galaxy or that planets. I read some forums on some website and they said that the story is similar to the movie and the developers also add in some tweets from the original game as I can't said if this is true cause I didn't watch the movie or I have play the original game on earlier generation on PlayStation. Look like I need to watch the movie cause the in-game dialogue is hilarious and funny. The gameplay is another trigger point where I have no reason not to play this awesome game and it have a lot of intriguing weaponry to choose from and it was even more fun trying out those weapon on enemies. I also like how the developers make this game a bit like action role playing game where I can travel to different planet, do the main mission or side quests. Although it was enjoyable game but faded when I begin my 2nd playthough almost immediately after the first maybe I should waited a month or two before begin New Game+ that is needed to clear some trophies. Thank you PlayStation (Asia) Plus for giving plus members such a enjoyable during the year end festival and most importantly it save me some credits from purchasing Ratchet & Clank. Should I try the original R&C series?...Probably...not but who know if PS Plus make it free. Ratchet & Clank Platinum Video

Most of the trophies are cumulative, which makes things a bit better. I understand you used to be unable to save this game. Popular Post Ala-Arska
Energy Invasion (PS Vita) Energy Invasion Platinum Good job! Completed all tasks! What a mess of a picture, like the game itself. As my grind in Tales of Xillia 2 progresses, I wanted something to fill the void. And this crap was it. Energy Invasion takes a simple concept, and somehow manages to f**k it up. An achievement in itself Much like in the old Breakout, the ball bounces from blocks (breaking them), and your slider stops it from hitting bottom. And you shoot. Except the ball bounces randomly, there's no rime or reason to where it's headed next from a hit. There goes any skill needed Your slider is half useless, maybe it does catch the ball, maybe it doesn't. You don't control the ball, THE BALL CONTROLS YOU! To top it all, there's serious frame rate drops which causes most of the misses. Yup, frame rate drops in a goddamn game like this I didn't pay much from it, it didn't last long and it was an easy title. Yet, somehow I feel cheated. The shit you find in PS Store these days... No way is Energy Invasion a good, or even a passable game. On your next bus ride, leave Vita home and just watch the scenery
