One of the better mobile games on console, yet only an ok game overall. Despite the upgrade and gear system, it gets repetitive quite fast. Half of the trophy descriptions are wrong, which makes some of the mission challenges a bit of a pain to figure out. The grind for 10000 kills and 50 biohazard wins was mind-numbing.

It's finally done. I'm not into football games, but I picked this one on a sale, and it was quite enjoying...for the first 20 hours. The annoying online portion, the boring Journey, and the trophy to reach the Division 1 on FUT ruined my experience. The deciding game against Juventus on Ultimate difficulty to reach the Division 1 still give me nightmares.

The Nubla games are lovely.  The presentation is based on paintings and a museum, and the visual style of the game reflects that focus well.  Nubla is not challenging to play, and were it not for some collectibles that are easily overlooked (taking into consideration the overall shortness from start to finish) I would have rated it a 1/10 for difficulty.  What's cool about Nubla is that students created it.  This is from the museum that sponsored the project's website:

Nubla  is a project that brings the world of art and  videogames into dialogue. A space for meeting, co-creation and learning made up of a team of young university students from the visual arts, humanities, design and sound - although open to the collaboration of other audiences - mediated by EducaThyssen (museum) and Gammera Nest.

 

For those gamers who like to poo-poo 'easy' platinums, maybe give Nubla a chance.  What's wrong with supporting students and the arts?

I thought this would be a shit game like The Bunker, But it was a huge surprise and I really liked the story kept me entertained all the way.

The only downside was to repeat 2 chapters multiple times for all the trophies

Rayman Legends (Vita)

 

I'm quite proud of this one. It took me 3 years of playing it on and off to complete all of the levels and rescue all of the teensies. During that time I was playing the odd Daily & Weekly challenge occasionally. It was only after getting all of the other trophies that I committed to doing the challenges daily. The online portion of the game can be a significant grind depending on your skill level. Typically I was getting Golds in the Weekly Challenge, Silvers in the Weekly Extreme Challenge with Silvers in both the Daily and Daily Extreme Challenges. Occasionally I would get a Gold on Daily challenges depending on which particular one it was. The"go as far as you can" challenges with either Rayman or Murfy were definitely my strongest ones and I usually ended up getting Gold on those ones. It took me 5 months in total to grind out the points needed to reach the final level of Awesomness which was quite a grind but the challenges were fun so I didn't mind.

 

What makes the online portion tricky is the highly skilled players who continue to play it every day even after getting the platinum. This is frustrating to say the least as these players take up the top 10 spaces in the challenges every day, making it very difficult to win a Diamond cup which is required for one of the trophies. The Diamond cups also award a lot more points than the Gold, Silver and Bronze ones.

 

The game itself as absolutely gorgeous to look at. The graphics are wonderful and colourful. It really is one of the best looking games I've ever seen on any console. I also like the way it makes use of the Vita's motion sensor controls on certain levels featuring Murfy. It was a great way of utilising one of the Vita's most forgotten features. The game also features all of the levels from Rayman Origins as well. That reason alone makes it worth purchasing.

 

I can't recommend this game highly enough if you're a Vita owner. I rank it alongside Gravity Rush and Uncharted: Golden Abyss in my Top 5 Vita games.

Nice aesthetic. Nice story. Nice gameplay. Mediocre control. All of it came together to form a pretty good experience, and another delightful PS+ offering. RIME could have been better, but then again, what game couldn't be better? At least it had the sense to keep its story and game on point, without long, pointless diversions. The paucity of cut scenes really helps the proceedings; this game would have failed with a ton of those things.

 

All in all, I recommend it, though not highly.

I've never seen Game Of Thrones, so I was completely lost while playing this game. I found the first three chapters very boring, but I found chapter 4 and 5 very entertaining, full of action, difficult choices and crude outcomes.

Really appreciative that this game was on PS+ and I got to experience it.  The graphics were nice, story was decent and puzzles were fun.  I never experienced any frame rate issues that I've seen some people reporting; and I actually thought the platforming element was alright.  The ending got me in the feels.

Well my first platinum, here it is. An absolute favourite of mine. I remember when this got released back on the PS2. I played it constantly. I loved every minute of it. It looks and feels even better on the PS4. It was an absolute must to live through again and see Sora and co on his very first adventure. Also seemed to be a lot easier than I remember also. Then again its been that long that long and my gamings adapted and the fact I'm older. It just felt good.

 

I remember when I was a kid that I would always have trouble fighting Sephiroth. Always struggled to level up, even fighting Hercules used to be a good challenge to me but now. It seemed almost too easy. I'm glad I'm seeing a lot of other users play this quite a bit in the forums, probably due to the fact that Kingdom Hearts 3 is being released at some point this year (hopefully)

 

Probably play some other games before I start CoM. I want to make KH2 my tenth platinum hopefully so I'm going to start doing some other games and do CoM sometime in the middle.

My third and probably last Ultra Rare Platinum that's also Ultra Rare amongst Trophy Hunters ?. Almost gave up on the plat because of the sudden difficulty spike on the fnal boss. I Don't have that patience I used to have as a kid anymore. Glad I didn't, it has been a while I felt so exhilarated after earning a platinum (felt a little jaded the last couple of ones). The story was okay, the game was fun and had interesting fight mechanics. Some characters were pretty funny. This is one of those games that might have been better if it was a movie.
