Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#450 - Far Cry Primal Milestone Platinum My experience of this franchise up to now had been limited to Far Cry Classic and Far Cry 2 on PS3 but I decided to move onto this one before tackling the other numbered entries as I was interested to see how a more basic approach to the franchise in a prehistoric setting would turn out. It turned out pretty well in my opinion and following Takkar's journey as he attempts to gather and regroup his fallen Wenja tribe who are scattered across the Oros lands was never boring for me. The world of Oros is beautiful to look at and filled with eye popping colours. Each area of the vast map feels different and I liked the distinction between the snowy north (inhabited by the primitive and cannibalistic Udam tribe) and the swampy south (controlled by the more dangerous and sophisticated Izila tribe). It's a Far Cry like no other. Assault rifles and rocket launchers are replaced by spears and bows and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. My only slight criticisms would be how samey the side quests can be and the over-aggressiveness of the mammoths. They always seemed to make a beeline for me even when minding my own business from a safe distance. They're quicker than they look and if one of them starts chasing you you're pretty much screwed unless you have a sabre-toothed tiger as a companion and you're able to outpace it. Speaking of the sabre-toothed tiger, I have to say that hitting an enemy between the eyes with a spear whilst riding atop one of them sprinting at full speed is honestly one of the most rewarding gaming experiences I've ever had. To be honest, I can think of no better way to recommend the game than that Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 5/10
Popular Post x7251
#46 - BioShock I left the game in my backlog for many years unfinished having last played it in 2011. I Just started playing again this past week and finally got the platinum trophy after 10 years and 9 months ago after earning my first trophy with timestamps on April 20, 2010. I really enjoyed the game after giving it another chance.

Popular Post MakotoKaCun
Platinum # 92 South Park: The Stick of Truth (PS3) South Park™: The Stick of Truth™ Platinum Trophy Was really stress out by MGSR. Wanna just relax myself so finally replay South Park stick of truth in PS3. Too Bad i got the EU version. So some of the scenes is Censor . Anyway This was a very fun small journey. Story everything is still good. Last time i play the PC version so kinda feel PS3 one is laggy in some place. Also the save function here is not very good. At some point i grind a lot of money but it didn't save it. Instead it over will save at a checkpoint location. Learn this the hard way. Other then that is some of trophy are missable so i replay it like 3 time in order to get most of it. Still i really enjoy this game. Anyway i don't know if we will have another south park game for PS5. But i hope we may get another new tittle in the future instead of DLC.
Popular Post StraightVege
A New Hope #259 | Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order The old saying "jack of all trades, master of none" comes to mind. Is it a Souls-like? An Uncharted-esque adventure? A Metroidvania? Why, all of the above and more, apparently, while doing none if it particularly well. Like many titles within the AAA sphere, Fallen Order borrows ideas from an assortment of superior games I've already played. There was certainly potential here for an interesting hybrid, and perhaps if they had focused on honing just a couple of elements, rather than throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks, the final product wouldn't be such an unpolished mess. Spend less on big name actors next time, possibly? This has to be one of the least optimized PS4 games I've played: enemies, objects, and textures pop into existence before your very eyes. Some cutscenes also repeatedly freeze, and the frame rate is erratic, to put it mildly. Switching to 1080p performance mode minimizes the pain, but even ignoring the glaring technical issues, I found the whole affair thoroughly dull, and felt like I was forcing myself to finish it. Among my favorite aspects of the genres this game makes a perfunctory attempt to blend is being rewarded for exploration, by finding useful stuff hidden in every nook and cranny. When the treasure chests in your game contain nothing more than cosmetics, why should I care about combing through your world? So, I braved a deathtrap to turn the protagonist's poncho pink—uh, yay, I guess? Maybe actual Star Wars fans would find Fallen Order worthwhile for the story. Personally, I have a casual interest in the franchise, at most (it's not my kind of sci-fi). I only tried this because I enjoy Souls-likes, and found it quite lacking in that regard. Yet another big-budget title with an identity crisis, that I'll forget about in a week. I don't even find the game interesting enough to bother being my usual, long-winded self in writing here. That does it for EA Play games I was interested in. Kind of disappointing, but at least Fe was good. Ode2Destruxion
#28 Eventide: Slavic Fable Another hidden object puzzle game from Artifex Mundi. They're fun games that will burn a few hours. They're all pretty much the same but with a different storyline. As you'd expect: find items, collect them, make them interact with other objects to solve puzzles and progress. One thing I will say is play this on expert and not casual. As well as not being able to do all of the trophies in one run on casual - it is boring as hell. You are given constant hints even when you don't need them, and thus no thought has to go into completing the game whatsoever. 6/10

Popular Post Mayellie
#35 - Destiny 2 Traveler’s Chosen Obtain all trophies in Destiny 2. I did it! After 5-6 months of extreme grind, dedicating over 270 hours to the platinum alone, and culminating my journey with beating the hardest and most unforgiving activity in the game of completing a Nightfall on Grandmaster difficulty, I finally got my Destiny 2 platinum. Long story short, I played D2 last year casually, and popped half the trophy list. In September, I decided to return to the game and attempt to platinum it. This is where things went severely downhill… ? I was fooled by the appearance of a short trophy list, and while half that list will pop fast, the other half is an insane and long grind. I started to feel so physically and mentally drained because I knew I had so much work to do weekly and daily (activities and challenges reset weekly, bounties only last 24h), which was tough to keep up with in between other IRL duties. I grinded week by week the same boring activities hoping for some luck and better gear than what I own. Eventually, you hit a point where regular activities won’t help you increase your level – you’ll need to do the tougher stuff and at an even faster and more consistent rate, all of that so you can get to a really high level, waaaay past what the average Destiny player will be able to achieve in a single season, so you can simply start (not complete, more on that in a bit) a Nightfall strike on Grandmaster difficulty. Sooooo, ya finally managed to level up an insane amount? Cool, but you’re not done! Even if you reach the maximum hard level in the season (1260, is insanely difficult and grindy to get), you’re still 15 levels below the minimum requirement to even ATTEMPT Grandmaster, which is 1275. “But… but… how do I level up?” Aha! Enters a new levelling up system called the artifact which works solely off XP. Expect to require 1million – 3 million XP per ONE artifact level. ? As for GM completion… I thought the grind to reach the level requirement was the only issue. Boy, oh boy, I was wrong. Grandmaster Nightfalls are absolutely brutal challenges for people out of their mind, and the hardest in the game. It’s tricky to explain just how much skill, dedication, and ability to keep your shit together GM completion requires to someone who doesn’t play Destiny. Some of the reasons GM is so so hard is due to insane negative modifiers, like limited number of revives for your team, powerful GM-only enemies that require specific mods to kill, you are at a disadvantage due to massively overpowered enemies that can one shot you, locked loadout, no radar, and so much more, but the most extreme was the no checkpoint system. If your team dies, it’s a wipe… you get kicked back to orbit and restart the whole thing. Most importantly, GM is only available for a limited time in a season, so if you don’t manage to complete it in time, congrats, Guardian! Restart your 200+ hour grind next season. After not 1, not 2… but 17 attempts, I finally completed a Nightfall on Grandmaster difficulty a week before the season’s end, cutting it too close. The extreme time commitment, sheer amount of perseverance, and skill needed are unreal. I would not recommend this platinum to anyone because it’s clearly meant to reward only elite, veteran players. It was mentally draining and incredibly stressful due to the high-level requirement, time constraint for GM completion, in addition to the fact that Grandmaster is godforsaken and literally designed to be nearly unplayable. Biiiiiiiig thank you to @Fox who's been grinding it alongside me since September, and tried his best to keep me sane (but failed ) throughout our journey to this plat. Wouldn’t have it w/o his help and support! (FYI: plat rarity is not as low as it sounds it should be is because Bungie only recently changed a relatively easy trophy to completing Grandmaster. Either way, I know the extreme lengths I went for the plat, and it’s going in my trophy cabinet! Also, it's worth noting that this is my experience with the trophy hunting aspect of the game, not the game itself. ) Difficulty: 10/10 Grind: 100/10 (nope, that’s not a typo) Time: 270+ hours Edited February 6, 2021 by Mayellie
Popular Post MyNameIs_Rainman
Platinum 178 : New Gundam Breaker I like Gundam, I loved them and the other mechs in the SRW series, and played some DW Gundam back in the days. Gundam Breaker 3 was a dream come true with the freedom to build and spec your suit to perfection and part-slaying excellence. New Gundam Breaker is none of that. Apparently a different studio took on the reigns, and the emphasis of "New" was that it was going to be a new direction for the series. WHY? GB3 was rough around the edges, sure, and its availability on the Vita certainly hampered it as far as performance and graphical potential, but it was still a damn good game and played well, looked fine, and actually made me feel like my suit was becoming more powerful and perfected as I upgraded it, tweaked designs, etc. I spent countless hours building suits, photographing them, etc. So why would so much be undone in this game. Was it the need to create a new identity within the game? Idk, but it was a bad idea, not to mention so many terrible design choices that led to a just mediocre to bad game. My plat journey was solely because I enjoy the Gundam franchise and there's a lack of good Gundam games out there..and this just cemented one reason why these games and the franchise isnt as popular in the West..they just are extremely hit or miss, and this was a huge miss. No longer can you keep all the parts you knock off and collect, you are limited to a few that you must deposit in order to "obtain". This leads to an interesting dynamic of either chasing the mission goals or chasing parts, so at least that was good because it kept you on your toes. I liked that, although I feel like the small amount of parts you can carry plus the short amount of mission time means you really arent gonna get a huge selection of parts this way. Interesting in theory, but it just felt so bleh in practice. Another positive was the inclusion of Frames, which essentially were like Jobs or classes in typical RPGs. I felt like they leveled quite slowly, almost too slowly for the amount of missions in the game, and you'd have to play an absurb amount of time to get the real benefits from these skill unlocks. My platinum time took me up until unlocking the last one for my Striker Frame, so for me there definitely was no incentive to keep growing them..the stat difference between the different frames was more than enough to make the difference so the skills felt super useless. The short matches were also a plus, if you werent dead seton getting an S rank, you could finish in 5 minutes or less if you focused on the goals. On to the bad. Parts capacity was just bad, at least a small bank would have been nice, but what was it 5 or 6? they essentially only served as replacements for if my own parts got knocked off, which was convenient but then you are at the mercy of whatever shitty EXs are associated to that piece. Onto the next point : EX attacks. GB3 had them associated to parts, and as you used the skill you eventually mastered it and can use it without the part equipped. NGB ties it specifically to the part so you have no choice but to keep certain parts if you like certain skills. It really restricts the whole freedom of building your own suit, because now you are tied down to certain pieces that have that attack. Furthermore, NGB also does away with all the stat affixes and ability to upgrade the quality, armor etc of parts. Some parts have higher stats than others, but not by too much. Still, if you are min maxing, you will end up with certain parts that are stronger than the rest, once again limiting your pool of parts to use. It just seems like everything in NGB was designed in a way that was counterintuitive to the whole point of Gunpla, the expression and freedom of creating your own suit and customizing it to see fit. What's the point when parts are locked to stats and abilities, really hampering your choices and options? This really hurt the gameplay badly. To top it off, the multiplayer was just bad, disconnecting constantly...and that was AFTER I spend over a week putting together a team of all region 1 NA players because 1 of the multiplayer modes is region locked, which made getting a team very hard since.what do you know..nobody plays this shit game. I cant tell you the amount of people on PSN Profiles i messaged who platted the game or played in a somewhat reasonably recent time, begging to get online and join to help myself and a few others out. I sincerely apologize if you are one of those people, but i am also very thankful because we were able to finally get the multiplayer trophies done so I just had to clean up some story mission ones and finish up the 5 frame skills for each frame. I wouldnt have pushed myself so hard to get this plat if i didnt enjoy gundam, but I really hope they get their shit together for the future of the breaker series. Also glad I did because by pushing so hard to get that group together and get those annoying multiplayer trophies done, I helped give 5 other players a chance to at least plat the game and delete this crap from their backlog and move on with their lives..so my good deed has been done.
Popular Post Conor
#92- RESIDENT EVIL [PS4] Platinum Splattin' Em! Earn all trophies Enjoyment: 10/10 Challenge: 4/10 Time Taken: 4 Days, 21 Hours, 7 Minutes (20 hours in-game) Rarity: 1.2% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 5.67% Very Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: The Survival Horror- Finish the game in Real Survival Mode "Itchy... Tasty..." Even though I had never actually finished the PS1 original until this year, I am very familiar with the Remake, having played it multiple times on the Gamecube and the Xbox One. This is probably how I had so little problem in getting this platinum as it's really more of a 6/10 challenge if you're new to it. The requirements for the platinum are far from easy- the Real Survival and Invisible Enemy modes are no joke, although the latter can be played on Very Easy difficulty to make things a little more manageable. You also have to get a speedrun of under 3 hours as well as a playthrough without saving- meaning you cannot die or else you have to start all over, which are fine enough on a normal game mode, although it can be combined with the aforementioned modes as well to save on some playthroughs, as I did. From a technical standpoint, the game is a marvel especially considering it is from 2002. Yes, there have been some touch up but it still looks remarkable even running on a PS4. You can play in the original 4:3 aspect ratio or a widescreen mode which zooms in the camera, crops the top and bottom and moves about a bit as your character does so that you actually miss very little of the background details. You can also use tank controls or analogue stick but I went with the tank controls because, well, you just have to with this type of game! Along with the graphical update, there have been other improvements upon the original as well- the mansion is expanded and there is a new depressing subplot about the Trevor family, the only survivor of which is a twisted monster named Lisa who you sometimes encounter. She's not quite Mr. X or the Nemesis and she adds very little overall, but it is still an addition that doesn't make the game any worse. The dialogue is also altered to be less awful (no Jill sandwiches here) and the voice acting is better too. One thing I don't think quite works is the Crimson Head mechanic; if you kill a zombie but not through decapitation with a shotgun or flash grenade or with Flame Grenade round, they eventually become a Crimson Head- a faster, stronger, meaner creature- and I just don't think it fits in with the lore of the series and the Tyrant virus, really being more of a video game gimmick. My first playthrough was a Very Easy knife-only run with Chris. The boss battles against the Crimson Head Prototype, Plant 42 and the Tyrant can be challenging but still doable. I also saved both Rebecca and Jill in this run. My second playthrough was a Normal mode run with Jill in which I went into every room and collected every item, also saving both Barry and Chris. My third playthrough was a no save, Real Survival Speedrun with Jill which I managed in 2 hours 40 minutes and didn't rescue anyone. My final playthrough was an Invisible Enemy run on Very Easy, in which I also rescued nobody, got he last of the weapons (I didn't pick up the Flamethrower at all in my first Chris run since I couldn't use it), costumes and also manged in under 3 hours even though I didn't need to. I'm sure the platinum is possible in as few as three playthroughs (one Normal playthrough with Jill, Real Survival with Jill and Invisible Enemy knife-only with Chris and save scum to rescue everyone) so I may set up an alt account and try it one day! My next Resident Evil will be Resident Evil 0 which I've never actually played so that will be interesting!

Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 7/10 This is a big one for me personally, because during my childhood I've never completed the original Crash Bandicoot 1. By the time I started to play Crash 1; I've already played and completed Crash 2 & 3 to 100% ,so when I went back to Crash 1: its gameplay felt weird and outdated compared to Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped & also it was insanely hard for me back then. Now that I managed to complete Crash Bandicoot's trophy list: I have all the platinum trophies from N' Sane Trilogy and it feels really good & I'm craving for more Bandicoot platforming actions (looking at Crash 4!) Achieving a platinum trophy from this game is fairly challenging, but doable with enough practice. The most difficulty aspects are definitely the time trials, since you need to collect atleast 26 Gold Relics and you get those for completing time trials. I decided to make this platinum trophy a little bit harder for me, because I went for Stormy Ascent DLC's Gem & Gold Relic and that level took me the most time to achieve a Gold Relic; even the infamous "High Road" level took me much less time to achieve a Gold Relic. All in all I'm glad to finally get this done, because it was something I wasn't able to do during my childhood & I'm looking forward to try Crash 4 in near future(I know it's the hardest & most time consuming to complete) Edited February 6, 2021 by Viscera1900

Popular Post NurseTatiana
#225 Dead space 2 The Final Frontier Earn all Trophies in Dead space 2 6.43% Rare 1.7% PSN Rarity 3.48% Ultra Rare for the 100% completion Double Milestone for the platinum #225 and 8k trophies ? Enjoyment 10/10 Difficulty 8/10 Soundtracks 9/10 Time Estimated 40h highly skill dependent (Took me 1week4days to get the 100%). My review finally after a long time I decided to play this game. The first one was very good it had pretty much everything that I like in a survival horror like good combat, scary atmosphere, feeling claustrophobic etc. So I had a lot of expectations already before playing this game and my thoughts was just right except that there was few differences. Dead space 2 had a balance between combat and horror but not really scary as the first game was but the grafics was great no crashes or freezes whatsoever during my journey. The first time I took control of the character I was ready to play the hell outta it and feelt good to see some of the mechanics from the first game. I pretty much knew everything needed for the survival like dismembering enemies limbs rather than shooting them in the stomach etc but because I was playing on casual difficulty the first time I was swimming in money and resources lol. So here is the deal before I even started this game I already knew what I was getting myself into well hardcore mode. A very punishing difficulty with only 3 saves throughout the entire game!! No checkpoints at all, enemies are set to survivalist level and drops to zealot. There is a lot of dangerous places when you can mess up a QTE easily like Spoiler The freefall section at the end of chapter 7 after you connect the solar array if you crash in a rock well game over back to ur last save. The grinders at chapter 8 when you have to go through them it's a very nerve wracking spot this is just two examples where you can die easily. On top of that you really need to know what enemies you need to shoot or run past cause you don't want to loose too much resources remember ammo is very scarce! The leapers, exploders, dark slashers one of the hardest enemies to deal with in hardcore mode they can kill you easily even with fully upgraded character don't ever underestimate them! I had to move slowly with my gun always ready in my hands cause sometimes they can come up in a vent or catch you off guard. However it didn't took me long to beat this cause one is I practiced on Zealot difficulty and two I planned my 3 saves carefully I made them at start of chapter 5-10-13. Some people can make it further but fuck taking the risk don't ever try to go further you will rather waste time time dying. To not make this long Im pretty good at dealing with the no death runs I could handle my nerves pretty well....It's not something new for me. Other trophies are very easy it took me few hours to get them all and the hand cannon for beating hardcore is amazing ? It can kill every enemy in one shot regardless of the difficulty...great way to end the platinum hunt and get your payback. But nonetheless the game is one of my top favourite survival horror so far!! I highly recommend it! It deserved the special milestone spot and in my trophy cabinet....goodbye dead space 2 I will miss you the journey didn't last for too long but hopefully in the summer I will play the German version. A happy smile for me now ? Next platinum? My name is mayo 2. Edited February 6, 2021 by NurseTatiana

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#347 - Wolfenstein: Youngblood Youngblood Unlock all trophies. So I knew about this game's less than stellar reputation going into it, but I foolishly believed the online co-op would mitigate that to the point where me and my friend could just laugh at how stupid the cutscenes and dialogue were and be left with a mindless shooter to have fun with. But oh man, I severely underestimated just how awful it would be. The two main characters are so cringe-inducing to the point where I was getting genuinely uncomfortable. Like for real, I started thinking that maybe the developers were playing some 4D chess and were trying to make the Nazis look super cool and badass in comparison. I certainly wasn't rooting for BJ's two butch lesbian daughters to win, that's for sure. ? After the opening mission, I decided to mute the voices and skip the rest of the cutscenes just to make it a less painful experience. And you know what? Being left with just the core gameplay loop did lead to some enjoyment, even if the RPG mechanics don't work at all in a Wolfenstein game. It was fine... until you get to the post-game grind that is. I'm no stranger to grindy plats (SO4 says hi), but I found the grind for this one to be particularly miserable. I guess because I wasn't keen on the game in the first place. You spend more time grinding than going through all the missions on a regular playthrough AND getting all the collectibles. One of the grinds in this game involves you getting enough coins to purchase every weapon upgrade in the game, but the chests that contain these coints reset every 24 hours (in real time) and there are also daily and weekly challenges that get cycled out. The devs really wanted you to keep coming back to this one I guess lol. Thankfully, you can just change the date on the PS4 and reset the coin boxes that way, but even then it takes forever. That's not even taking into account levelling up all the weapons and getting enough ability points to fully upgrade your character. If it wasn't obvious already, making Wolfenstein an RPG was a mistake. I'm just glad it's over. Thanks to @Redgrave for suffering through it with me. ?
