Pyro
#32 Enjoyment: 2/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Second plat of the day... guilty pleasure being it was only £1.69p (I think) on the PS Store so had to buy. Besides a cheap and easy plat, I can finally understand how bad this game runs as mentioned in the forums. Frame rate drops are appalling & only having it estimated 1-2hrs to plat, I decide what the heck, it took me near enough 4 hrs because I focused on upgrading my defense. Wrong decision. For anyone attempting to plat this game primarily focus on reload speed til it's maxed out then defense. Constantly move and shoot around and store all your special weapons till the final boss.

Popular Post Komrade_Konrad
#35 - Gravity Rush Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 5/10 I'm kind of torn on this game. On one hand, it's incredibly gorgeous with a fantastic art style and it has an interesting story in a well-created world with loooads of charm. On the other hand, the controls were a mixed bag (fine aiming adjustments with motion worked well, but sliding was a nightmare), the camera was awful, and the challenges were joyless. I'm really glad I picked it back up and finished it, but the aforementioned problems are likely why it took me 4 years and 1 month to finish the game. It was also a little disappointing how many loose ends were left at the end of the game and that the story they decided to tie up was also the least interesting of the different arcs involved. Overall, great game, if a little frustrating at times.

Popular Post xMissFantasy
115 Platinum Trophy Unlocked all trophies I got this about a week ago but this is my ninth plat of the year. Forgot to post due to playing two games at once right now and I've slowed down dramatically. I did enjoy playing the DLC for the first time. Didn't find it as hard as the first game but it had some really cool art and character models to look at. I am super glad they took the multiplayer out. I didn't want to have to go through that again. It has been nice to play through this series again though. Almost finished with the base game of Infinite but have yet to experience that DLC for the first time. I know I'll enjoy the hell out of it because Infinite is my fav out of them all

Icebrand1270
Plat 110 Lara Croft GO (PS4) 1/21/2017 I expected a slower year in trophies and Platinums after a 37-Plat 2016. if nothing else, the term "burnout" was very appropriate for my mood. Still, I knew I had to get one before the month was through! Similar to Hitman GO but a little easier. Hints can be used without invalidating trophies, although one may wish to turn hints off at times to go for certain "non-story" trophies. Also, the vases (this game's collectibles) are well-hidden in some levels, so a video guide is advisable. All in all, a game that should have been much quicker than a month-and-a-half for me. On the up side, I now have 20 Consecutive Months with a Platinum Trophy! How much longer can I go? No clue, as always! still, it will be fun finding out!
Popular Post Pershing24
#19 - Uncharted 2 Among Thief (PS3) Platinum Finally a good and noteworthy Platinum, as AC liberation wasn't very satisfying, but travelling through Nepal with Drake and Chloe truly is a great adventure. Seen not too long that I platinum the first game, but Uncharted 2 was little more challenging, as there are more treasures, more weapons to mastered and the addition of multiplayer, fortunately all were pretty easy to do. The only trophies that took me longer than usual was Survival which I really tried to do sooner, but its easy to get frustrated at it, especially with the harder difficulties. Speaking of which, if you do what to get this platinum, I strongly recommend you play it on Hard difficulty first since Crushing difficulty isn't unlock until you beat it on hard. And because I first played this game 2 1/2 years ago on normal mode, I had to replay the campaign about 3.5 times, when in reality you can easy get the platinum in 2 playthroughs. Also thank you HaserPL for the video of beating Lazarević on Crushing difficulty, that was a fun export. And also remember the video for the trophy Steel Fist Expert by KittyGotWet is a incorrect as it is for another similar trophy called Bare-Knuckle Expect. Its almost the same, expect you need to soften all enemies with gunfire first. Fortunately The Pit is a good level to get this trophy, especially on very easy difficulty (duh). For now though, I taking a trip to Dubai. Edited January 22, 2017 by Pershing24

Intoner_Zero
#55- Game of Thrones Finally, first 2017 plat! Concerning GoT, I'm just a super casual watcher of the show and I wasn't that excited about this entry when it first came out. Finally got it when it went on sale and like previous TTG I've played, I felt entertained going through the episodes. The painted backdrops were beautiful and having the show actors voicing the game was nice too. Obvious problems concerning subtitles appearing in the middle of the screen and then going to the bottom like it should and/or jarring motions of some characters happening shown through nearly every episode, which can get annoying. GoT is usually pretty bleak and the game handled that well (nasty deaths too!), but choosing choices got less exciting as they all seemed to lead to bad consequences. That said, I would still play Season 2 and look at how my road of ruin turns out.
Popular Post scarishbal
#99 - Uncharted After many years, 5 to be exact. I finally got the platinum, Uncharted was the second game I played when I first got a ps3 back in 2012. I really enjoyed the mix of platforming with gun fights. I don't know what else to say about the game that hasn't been said before. But, I ended up playing through the game three times since I didn't understand the concept of trophies back then and I look forward to platting the rest of the games. But it has put me in quite a conundrum on what I want my 100 to be. Edited January 22, 2017 by scarishbal

Popular Post AJ_Radio
#60: Batman: Arkham Knight (January 14th, 2017) Difficulty: 5/10 Excitement: 9.5/10 Utter shame the trophy image did not show up. Likely because I was experiencing internet issues when I was playing. Bit late posting this one since it's been over a week. What a game. This is without a doubt my favorite Batman game, and definitely the best effort Rocksteady put into the Batman Arkham series. This is the game that was bundled with my Playstation 4 when I bought it in early August of 2015. I got a great deal online since I was getting it for cheap, and with an essentially free game to go with it I figured why not? Batman: Arkham Knight is the final game of Rocksteady's trilogy. Joker has been cremated and Gotham finally seemed to be going on the right track. But did it? Scarecrow makes a daunting announcement, and soon every citizen evacuates the city. Batman learns that a new menace is in town, someone with a grudge to kill the Bat with an entire army backing him up. It's going to take all of Batman's skills and instincts to ensure Gotham is safe once more. Right away while playing I immediately noticed the graphics. For a multiplatform game that is essentially open world, Batman Arkham Knight looks fantastic. In fact it's one of the best I've ever seen. Batman himself looks terrific as rain pours down on his suit. Facial animations are especially well done and the dark style of Gotham is definitely not a disappointment. The graphics still look good even while Batman is in combat. I applaud all the people who worked hard in giving us the best looking Batman game. Even two years later with Playstation exclusives and other potentially great titles on the horizon, Batman: Arkham Knight holds up very well in this regard. I enjoyed the storyline from beginning to end. I felt the main storyline was especially well done, giving us twists and turns and throwing a curveball when you least expect it. Early on Batman is exposed to toxin and it becomes a struggle to keep his sanity. Without spoiling the plot and cast of characters the main story will satisfy any thriller and drama fan. Side missions also come with their own story which is a great reliever since too many open world games are lackluster when it comes to side content. Some are simply collectathons while others feature a famous, prominent Batman character whom DC Comic Batman readers will feel at home with. Batman: Arkham Knight is one of the few games where it feels very satisfying completing the side stories, even if you're a casual player who doesn't hunt for trophies. Combat is easy to pick up and difficult to master, but extremely rewarding when you pull off an amazing combo. Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman each have their own set of moves, several of which are unique. In the early game Batman only has access to the basic moves and traversal, but as he gains experience and completes objectives he will get points, which can be used to upgrade a whole arsenal. There are a lot of moves in the game, and I didn't unlock all of them until I played New Game Plus. Once upgraded Batman becomes a beast, with Dual Team Takedowns making an appearance as being very satisfying. Combat fights were a challenge in the early going but I later adapted. Only a few games give the kind of satisfaction and pleasure you get when you finally defeat everyone in a room as Batman Arkham Knight. Not counting any Street Fighter, Tekken or Mortal Kombat game, it's extremely satisfying to be good at all the combat moves Batman and the others have. Definitely one of the most rewarding experiences I've had in years. Predator segments are pretty satisfying as well. Unlike combat segments, predator is mostly a session of trial and error. Should you go for this guy perched on the rooftop, or should you take out the guy tracking Batman's Detective Vision? Many of Batman's moves that require upgrading are predator moves. There are literally over two dozen ways to take down a thug, I was simply amazed at how creative and rewarding some of the predator moves were. Rocksteady did a fantastic job adding in new moves while keeping the older moves prominent and relevant throughout the series. There was nothing offered that Batman wouldn't of done in the movies, and I applaud the developers for this. Detective Vision had also seen major changes and upgrades, starting off being relatively simple in Batman Arkham Asylum then being buffed to the point where Batman could use his vision as a means to playback footage (like rewinding recorded video) to fit in the pieces of a certain event that happened. One side mission puts Detective Vision to great use. Once more, Rocksteady did a great job. Switching gears and talking about some of the low points of Batman Arkham Knight, I'm simply disappointed that a lot of people didn't seem to enjoy the game as much as I did, especially early on after release. Although the Steam version of the game was heavily criticized and looked down upon for it's system requirements and poor performance, I find it a bit ridiculous lots of people criticized the Batmobile. With the first two Batman Arkham games being entirely on foot, the Batmobile had to be a playing aspect since it is so prominent throughout the Batman comics and movies. I don't know if the initial version of this game had awful controlling of the Batmobile, or if Rocksteady made several patches to fix the Batmobile. But quite frankly it was just ridiculous to see so many people complain about the Batmobile, including a few people I'm subscribed to on Youtube. The controls do take getting used to yes, but there is nothing that would frustrate any competent gamer. Batman Arkham Knight even gives gamers the option to either traverse the city by flying or by driving, which many games don't have. It's pick and choose, or use both if they wish. You have to get used to the Batmobile, and once you do there's nothing all that bad to speak of. The Batmobile I find controls just fine, whether it was using it's weapons or simply just driving around. Riddler trophies make a big comeback, and these are probably the only gripe I have with Batman Arkham Knight. The Riddler unfortunately has no green suit or bowler hat, and I much prefer his Arkham City appearance. As a side mission, you have to solve his trials, ranging from tests involving the Batmobile to clever but easily doable puzzles that require Batman and Catwoman working together. While these are fairly easy and quite satisfying on their own, you eventually have to solve and find every riddle in Gotham. There are 243 riddles, and much to my dismay many are hard to find. Gotham in comparison to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City is much bigger, meaning the riddles are spread out rather than all bunched together. In the first two games I was able to grab as many as three to five riddles all very close to each other with no issues. In Arkham Knight I had to fly down from one riddle to get to the next, which adds up a lot of extra time. There are more difficult riddles to solve, ranging from question mark lights that have to be hit in a certain pattern to Riddler's robots barring the way of Batman's escape. Not the worst things in the world by a longshot, but one of those side activities that is going to put a lot of people off. In short it took me close to 10 hours if not more to find every riddle in the city. In the end it was a huge relief, and I guess that since this was the end of the Batman Arkham series, there had to be more difficult riddles. Immensely satisfying when all is said and done, but not something I want to be doing again if I ever decide to make an alternate PSN account to gain trophies in games I've already played. Riddler informants, in other words thugs you interrogate to have Riddler trophies show up on the in game map, did not seem to show up as often as in Arkham City. Sometimes they wouldn't show up at all, which made for a frustrating endeavor and took me a great amount of time in my 10 to 12 hour Riddler trophy run. I can say more about this fantastic game, but for now I have run out of things to say. All in all I loved mostly everything about it, the characters, the story, the side missions, the city of Gotham itself. The game is fairly time consuming, I've poured in over 30 to 40 hours for just the base game and it is extremely satisfying to beat it. All of the notable actors are here. Kevin Conroy as Batman, Mark Hamill as Joker, Tara Strong as Harley Quinn, and Nolan North as Penguin, among others. Most Batman fans should feel at home with this game even if they simply played the main story. There is lots of DLC content to be had, further showcasing the Batman legacy with skins and characters who have their own story. You're looking at 110 trophies in all which is no small feat, and is pretty difficult to gain all of them due to the Community Challenges. This is a game that you'll be playing for dozens of hours, possibly over 50 hours. I enjoyed every minute I played in this game, and while I took a lot of breaks, one lasting for nearly an entire year, I'm grateful I finally came around to earning the platinum. Definitely one of the proudest platinums I have gotten so far. Edited January 22, 2017 by Spaz
Popular Post Juzota
#60 - DOOM Thy Flesh ConsumedEarn all Trophies Oh yeah baby! 60th Platinum overall and 6th in 2017 alone. And what a nice game Doom was. I'm happy to have this my 60th Plat. I usually do prefer good stories over gameplay in AAA games, but sometime it's nice to play game like Doom where you can basically forget the story and just go full on balls to the walls guns blazing and kill everything, and I mean everything. There was also many ways to bring pain to demons and that was fun. Of course the single greatest thing in this game was the glory kill system. It was just so satisfying to rip demons to little pieces with bare hands. But of course guns were also big part of this game and there was enough variety to keep me entertained through 2 playthroughs. Super Shotgun was probably my most used gun. Multiplayer wasn't really that exciting on this game. I already played it bit on the beta, but now I just got the trophies and never went back. One reason why I didn't go back is because there wasn't that much players. I didn't get Doom in its release so I probably missed the most intense mp moments. Well, not a big loss for me personally. MP trophies were really easy to get so not much stress over those. Snapmaps were something that I couldn't care less, so those trophies were most annoying ones for me but nothing too bad. Good game. Demon Slayer approves. Enjoyment: 8 Difficulty: 4 --- -- - Now I'm gonna ease up with trophy hunting and finally get my ass into XCOM 2. I already took care of the demons, now it's time to kick some alien ass. Edited January 22, 2017 by Juzota

Popular Post Tanuzomi
#60: Nights of Azure Nights of Azure Unlock all trophies. Finally done after almost 12h of farming requests and getting the remaining kills I'm done. The lucky fact... I unlocked the 10k kill trophy 3minutes after my 300 request one... so it was faster than expected To the game itself; I got it in a sale for around 20€ and it was worth the price but paying more for it? Better not as the game is very straight what most Tecmo games are lol It was more a Hack 'n Slay adventure as a JRPG but it was a very funny one I liked Lilysse more than the playable heroine Arnice and the True ED was just love Ha the servant feature was also very cool and if you have a nice combination like Steel Helion (rest almost isn't needed then) the game is a joke even the extra bosses The enf was a bit tedious because yeah mostly thx to the 300 request, 10k kills or maybe for some the 100% item library trophy. Last one wasn't so boring as I combined it with some kills at least So with this done I wonder what should be next then?
