Popular Post markcavan
#221 - InkSplosion on PS4 NA (#45 of 2018) #220 - InkSplosion on PS4 EU (#44 of 2018) #219 - InkSplosion on PSVita (#43 of 2018) Short and fun twin stick shooter. Plays awful on the PSVita unless you disable the ink visuals (press 0 on the start screen). Has a little replay-ability (beat your high score) but that's it. I gave it a 2 difficultly as you do need a little skill to reach 100,000 points in classic mode but most will reach this without any problem. Overall 4/10 enjoyment and 2/10 difficultly
Popular Post Harvaturri
Freedom Wars PS Vita Joy and Prosperity Really enjoyed Freedom Wars on PS Vita. It was fun to battle those huge robotic enemies and try out different equipment. Fighting with the regular enemies wasn't as enjoyable though as I really like to play shooting type of games on PC (mouse and keyboard) instead. But the best thing about Freedom Wars was to be able to play co-op with my wife. We even got the platinums together.
Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#181: God Eater 2 Rage Burst Finally reached 95% overall completion on my profile with this plat , been working on that for the past few years. This plat image isn't nearly as badass as the one from GE Resurrection. It's also way too blurry. Anyway, this game takes place 3 years after the events of GER. The Aragami continued to evolve and some variants gained the ability to disable God Arcs (the only weapons that can kill Aragami). In response Fenrir created the Friar division that researched for a way to defeat these Aragami. This resulted in the creation of the Blood unit, which the player's character joins at the start of the game. Members of Blood can use Blood Powers. This game improves some of the gripes I had with the first game: there are a lot more Aragami, there are a lot more areas where missions take place, and the Fierce Kongou doesn't take forever to kill anymore. Though the developers added a new variant (Rakshasa Kongou) that's even more annoying to defeat, especially when there's 3 or 4 of them. The story is good and I like how most of the characters from the first game make an appearance. Would've liked it if it was possible to import a save file from GER and meet the main character from the first game in GE2RB. Emil used to annoy me a lot, but after a while he grew on me (though this event helped a lot with that). My favourite Aragami (Hannibal and Susano'o) from the first game returned. From the new enemies the Kyuubi is my favourite one. Orochi was a huge disappointment as it resembles a 3-headed dog instead of an 8-headed serpent, so the name "Cerberus" would've been better. My most hated enemy type is still the Kongou and its variants. New additions are Character Episodes, Blood Arts, Blood Bullets, and Blood Rage. Character Episodes are side stories about certain characters. Blood Arts and Blood Bullets add various effects to melee attacks and gun attacks. Blood Rage makes your character invincible and very powerful for 30 seconds, but only if you manage to activate it. Obtaining a full set of rank 15 equipment is also much easier than the first game. Some things I didn't like were unlocking Blood Arts, as this requires using the same attack over and over again. It's way too grindy. The equipment in GER felt more balanced as they had some good skills. The ones in GE2RB only have a few good ones, which means relying on RNG to obtain good ones. Obtaining 400 pieces of clothing was also unnecessary and way too grindy. It's a shame that male clothing is still so disappointing. There are hardly any good outfits, while female characters have a lot of good ones. Just like with the first game, I would've liked some kind of romance system. All in all it's a very entertaining game. I liked it so much, that I created a second character and did another playthrough.
Popular Post Nauticus87
Been a while since I last posted. #241 - The Count Lucanor (NA) Good idea marred by terrible glitches and issues. The game kept crashing at the end, corrupted my save once or twice. Had to nurse it home with really slow movement over the last few screens. #242 - Abyss: The Wraiths Of Eden #243- Lost Grimoires 2: Shard Of Mystery Just a couple more quick Artifex Mundi platinums to add to the dozen or so others I've done #244- Dust: An Elysian Tale Played it before on Steam so it was easy enough to get through. #245- Iron Crypticle Really fun game in the vein of Binding Of Isaac. Took three attempts to beat the final boss but I got there in the end. #246- Serial Cleaner Harder than I expected in places but a very good game that I'd recommend to any fan of stealth games. I blame my impatience for so many losses. #247 - Rayman Legends (PS4) Finally! This is the third version I've played. The PS3 version was back when I didn't care about trophies, the Vita version was impossible to get a diamond on, but now, finally, I have a Rayman Legends platinum! Thanks to it being free on PS+ there were a lot of players so diamond cups weren't too hard to get and I finished in just under a month. Very happy with this one.
Popular Post SmilexBomb
Wizard of Legend Master of Chaos Collect all trophies Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Time: 20 hours Awesome rogue-like/twin stick shooter game. Game is pretty easy and a lot quicker to plat compared to other Rogue-likes such as Enter the Gungeon and Binding of Isaac, but still a blast to play. Each run is pretty quick, with full runs only taking maybe 30 mins or so, which I think is perfect for the game since the most of my fun came from choosing different spell setups to make sweet combos. Gameplay is challenging enough to begin with, but once you learn boss patterns you'll pretty much have a 100% full clear success rate from there. Definitely recommend if you're a fan of the genre.
Popular Post Property_Damage
# 217 Perils of Baking...a brothers descent Platinum difficulty 2 / 10 Personal enjoyment 7 / 10 Estimated time to plat : 2 - 5 hours (had early access to the game and got a 2nd place platinum finish) Perils of Baking is a game about 2 brothers who become very successful bakers very quickly and in that time the older of the two gets his hands upon the dark artifact, a magical chef hat that spawns evil pastries into the world. It is your job to put his madness to an end! Its a fun little indie game that pays homage to games like Super Mario Bros and others alike. Definately a must have for the classic retro trophy hunters of the world. Edited June 2, 2018 by Property_Damage
Popular Post DamagingRob
#318- Assassin's Creed Rogue Platinum Trophy Unlock all other trophies I'm honestly not sure what to think of this game.. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, as I didn't really care for Black Flag. So, at first, I was thinking why did I buy this, knowing it was similar? Don't know if it was due to there being less of an emphasis on the ship stuff? Or that I was just better at it here, and found it less of an annoyance. Whatever the case, I enjoyed playing through the story. It's everything after the story that is kind of a mixed bag.. The story was pretty short, and I finished it in just 2 days. The next 3+ were spent grinding out repetitive side crap, that the devs really went overboard with, in my opinion. There are 3 large open-world maps with hundreds of collectibles and side missions. It felt like such a relief when I picked up the final one. What were they thinking with these? Making a shorter AC title feel like a full-fledged game? I do still think I enjoyed it overall, though. And probably could have shaved off some time, but decided to 100% it for the final cheat (which gives you an undead pirate crew *insert Pirates of the Caribbean theme here*). And now I can finally play Origins Syndicate. Maybe someday I won't be years behind. P.S. Those penguins were pretty cool.
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#209 LEGO: The Hobbit (Vita) Another addition to my collection of LEGO plats on Vita. At the moment I'm aiming to do all of the Vita games before playing any of the console versions. LEGO: Marvel Super Heroes, LEGO: The Avengers and LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens are now the only ones I have remaining to be done. LEGO: The Hobbit is easily the weakest one I have played so far. This one felt a little bit off to me especially when compared to LEGO: The Lord of the Rings which is one of the best. There were a number of frustrating glitches I had to navigate around and the overall LEGO quality didn't feel as polished as usual. That having been said, it's not a terrible game by any means. It's a solid effort but I'm glad it's done. Worth a look if you like the films and the usual LEGO humor is present.

Popular Post GraniteSnake
#64: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Really enjoyed playing this absolute gem again. Forgot just how good the soundtrack was to this game ? As for difficulty, I made use of cheats so it made the game relatively easy. Take the Cannoli was a bit of a trek to set up, but nothing difficult.

Popular Post Sylan Vos
#36 I really enjoyed this game, especially the story, which was great and the ending got me a little bit emotional and left me with a bittersweet feeling (which doesn't happen that often with games, at least with me). The soundtrack is good and the gameplay felt different - I really recommend it #37 This is a decent game, not the best or anything remarkable but still fun to play The platinum is easy and it should be fairly quick. I recommend it if you can find it at a low price

Popular Post monkeydluffy512
#271 Let the Good Times Roll Mafia 3 Pretty good game, definitely better than I thought it would be. Though it does suffer from the "every sandbox" problem it was still fun to play. I really hated that it only has one save file but needs to be played twice for the platinum. I spent my first playthrough going for all the collectibles just for the fun of it only to lose them all.

Popular Post ahmedelebiary
#108 Payday 2 Fun: 7/10 Diff: 6/10 Time: around 50 hours Rarity: 2.24% Ultra Rare I thought after The Heist, why not do the second one ?! it turned out to be less fun imo but also more challenging due to luck based RNG trophies, those were getting the escapes needed and the infamous guessing game, which took me +50 tries.. the art gallery stealth trophy took me awhile as well as i suck at stealth, but everything can be done with the correct skills and good teammates for coop, then it was only a matter of time grinding rep 100 and finding boosters for short fuse trophy, as that one is impossible solo. i am just surprised how they tuned down the friendly A.I compared to the first game, they became utterly useless, not only that, but also they removed the third friendly, so you only spawn with two. oh and btw the game freezes a lot on PS3, making things more annoying than they already are

Gee bullshit as time consuming is not hard at any points even nowadays people seem to rate a game in difficulty up recently... lol?. The Ultimate Medley the all soooooo praised killer with it's challenges? Another joke... I am a no all extreme perfect player )I could only play few songs on perfect lol surely not the Ultimate Medley! xD) but this game is doable if u Git Gud... so lol Still beside saying previous Diva games where better and personally when I think for example on Diva F2nd's Envy Catwalk on extreme.. oh gawd... this was a joke here Well now I am ready to start Future Tone Again; Statisfaction is the best song, ever!
Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #26 - DOOM 3 BFG Edition Difficulty Rating 8/10 Enjoyment Rating 5/10 Ultra Rare - 1.77% Holy mac & cheese & meatballs, take my advice. Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction if you come across this particular title. I like to think I'm a pretty big DOOM fan but this game and everything going for it doesn't feel right at all. There is certainly more bad than good when referring to it's trophy run. DOOM 3 BFG Edition is a compilation pack of Ultimate DOOM, DOOM II, DOOM 3, Resurrection of Evil & Lost Mission. Sounds pretty rewarding, right? Well, it isn't at all. Across all games and expansions, there are 64 bronze trophies, 1 gold and of course the platinum. Multiple playthroughs also come into play. Tons of missable collectibles that are not tracked in game and no chapter select to clean up the remains, you gotta do it all in a single playthrough. You also have to beat all DOOM 3 content on Nightmare, but before you can play Nightmare you have to unlock it by beating each campaign once. Nightmare is the hardest difficulty and it constantly drains your health down to 25 because the developers were too lazy to come up with a more decent challenge. You will die constantly and load times are the true devil here. About 45 to 60 seconds to reload your save point depending on the level, every single time I could hear my poor PS3's laser just crying out in agony. Once it reloads, the imp will most likely smack you and you'll have to wait ANOTHER good 50 seconds before you can make another attempt, it's maddening. Sometimes the game will freeze at certain triggers and you'll have to restart the PS3. There are these enemies that constantly disappear and reappear and the game has to play catch up by pausing for a good 3 seconds. It's not my PS3, it's barely a year old and others said they've experienced the same issue, the game is a mess. The sprint button is stuck to L3 and it's no toggle, you have to hold it down! You can't remap the button layout, oh my lord! Sprint should of been L2 and the flashlight should of been L3. On top of all this, you have to beat Ultimate DOOM & DOOM II on Ultra-Violence difficulty. But even those games are far from perfect. Constant slow downs, frame skips and sound pitch is either too high or too low.. pretty bad ports for old DOOM games. Sooo much busy work for so very little reward. Is it all possible? Well sure, but nobody is crazy enough to go through with it. You will need a great amount of patience and endurance. To me the real third DOOM game will always be DOOM 64. I say go straight to DOOM (2016) for it's a far better experience and is more true to it's roots. That's not to say all of DOOM 3 is bad though. For one thing I find the lore and characters far more interesting. Dr. Malcom Betruger is a pretty sinister villain when compared to Olivia Pierce and the UAC in DOOM 3 feels much more genuine in what they do to help mankind. It was the first in the franchise with heavy story, character, lore, and universe driven elements, back in 2004 the graphics were awesome and hardly any super computer at the time was capable of running it at max settings. Today it holds very little significance, for I remember Half Life 2 being the real game changer back in the day through most people's eyes. As a package for content, it's decent yet flawed. But for the trophy hunter, you are better off looking somewhere else. It took me 9 playthroughs across all games and expansions till I popped the platinum. Save yourself from a set of migraines ^^
Popular Post DEsIx_KaerO
#135 (EU, Vita) already ordered NA Vita version . khem khem Extraordinary Adventurer Proof that you read the entirety of "Travelogue of the Gaete Sea" by Adol Christin. I think i liked this better than Tokyo Xanadu. As this was my first Adventure with Adol, i thoroughly enjoyed this game and got interested even more to try the other entries. well, i had my eyes on Memories of Celceta for some time, but now i really want to play it Anyways, i did order Ys Origins, Celceta + NA version of Lacrimosa of Dana for Vita, will get PS4 version later! Nightmare difficulty was... well... a lot tougher than Xanadu imho. Had some game overs, 20+ or so across the playthrough Spoiler ( mostly while playin' on Dana's Side of Story ). Oh well, i had to finish all raids in Nightmare diff. Mountain area with 9 waves was a bit crazy near the end, i thought i was gonna lose when my gate was near destruction when... it suddenly healed lol Spoiler The ending got me ;( , it was a bit hard to say goodbye. Popular Post Kristycism
#45 - Just Cause 3 King of Medici I only tried this game because it was free on PSPlus, from the looks of the trailer I didn't think it'd be my type of game. But OMG IT'S SO MUCH FUN!!! There's a kind of serene pleasure you get from destroying everything in sight with a rocket launcher (or lightning gun, man I love that Eden Spark!). I don't really know what happened in the story, 'cause I barely paid attention, and just focussed on mindless destruction. I don't know why it's awesome, but it is! In fact, as soon as I get my hands on a PS3 I'm buying Just Cause 2 and platting that, because I loved this game so much (I expect it to be a step back but I'm sure it'll still be fun) and if we see a Just Cause 4, it'll be a day one purchase for sure. As well as the destruction, the tether/wingsuit/parachute combo was insanely fun to zip around the world with, I rarely used any vehicles to get anywhere because I found it way more fun to use my tether. But for those that would rather get around the fairly large world, there's easy access to vehicles at all times, which is nice. The challenges were also fun if you broke them up and done them in stages - but there's just soooooooo many of them that doing them all/most in one go would probably be very mind-numbing, I imagine. And would probably put a lot of people off the plat. The wingsuit challenges I didn't find too bad even though that's what everyone finds hard, but I hated the land vehicles races 'cause I absolutely suck at racing games (like, can't even win Mario Kart at 50cc type suck). Did them all eventually though, so they are definitely doable. But yeah, overall I'd definitely recommend this as a game to play when you're bored and want to blow things up. There's a lot of blowing up to be done in this game! And they make it so fun!!
Popular Post cr1s
#361 - Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends (PS3) True Awesomeness Earn every Trophy in the game Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Well, not much to say about this game. It lacks depth and variety compared to other fighting games and isn't as fun. The platinum itself is easy, albeit time-consuming due to the online trophies. But since I have a second PS3, I was able to self-boost those and thus save some time. Most of the base game characters have some good/great moves that you can just spam to make the single-player tournament a breeze. I only had trouble using two of these characters, so I ended up downloading the two free DLC characters. I'm still gonna stack the PS4 version, if only to make @Fidel suffer through the online grind.
