Popular Post StraightVege
#200 - Squareboy vs Bullies: Arena Edition My entire thought process with this game: "Hey, it's a retro beat 'em up for less than 3 dollars... I could go for one of those! Whoa, it's giving me this many trophies so soon?! Man, this game kind of sucks; what's the point of having so many different attacks and weapons, when repetitively dashing or grabbing is way more effective? Plus, all the levels and enemies are basically the same! Wait, it's over already? The credits say 'Ratalaika Games.' Oh, I've heard of these—guess I just paid for a platinum. Now I'm sad. But, at least I have this new platinum!" This milestone would have been reached much sooner, if I still played at the same rate I used to when the trophy system was first released. These days, I simply don't have the time, energy, or interest to keep up that pace, though. Probably won't hit 300 until PlayStation 6, if I'm even still gaming by then. Popular Post iXanon
#20 WRC 3: FIA World Rally Championship Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time taken: 1 year, 4 months Quite a gap between starting this one and finishing it, primarily because it started feeling a bit grindy. Considering it was one of the earlier WRC games, I'd say it's probably one of the better ones in terms of feeling like you're driving a rally car although I'm not too sure the arcade style mini-games really worked, which is probably why they didn't make a return in the series. Overall it wasn't too difficult, though there was certainly some challenge there.. Edited August 19, 2019 by iXanon

Popular Post ZoutjeNL
Platinum #7 Rayman Legends Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 5/10 What an amazing game! I played it back on the Wii U when it came out. Bought it on PC and was still craving for more. So I picked up the PS4 version. The game took me a bit over a month to complete, thanks to the challenges. I attempted to get diamond cups for the daily and the weekly challenges, over half of the time I succeeded, this made the grind way shorter. Altough it gave me a headache from time to time. Some days the challenges took me more hours then I like to admit. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. What can I say it is one of the best 2d platforming games of all time. A ton of levels, characters to unlock and teensies to save. With the addition of the rayman Origin levels added in you get even more great levels to play! The Music levels have amazing licensed music and are one of the most fun levels I have ever played. Do yourself a favour and grab this amazing game! A little warning though: the platinum takes about 3 months if you are getting gold cups daily (should be doable for almost anyone) but this shouldn't take away from the fun you will have with this beauty of a game. Rayman is one of my all time favourite franchises, especially the 3d games have a special place in my heart. I am still hoping for a 3d Rayman 4 game please ubisoft you can do it!
Popular Post DarkSoleride
Muv-Luv Alternative Platinum: Muv-Luv Alternative (how original) Achieved 10/08/2019 Time Taken: 1 Day 8hours (had small break) Personal Rating 5/10 (Difficulty 1/10 I used a guide) This is my first venture into the Muv-Luv universe and part of an ongoing event to tackle my PS Vita backlog of games. The reason for getting into it so late is mainly because of the price to pay for these visual novels are very expensive and rarely go on sale. So i picked the game up for £10 which was a steal here in the UK, downside is apparently its the third instalment which i did not know so playing through the story i was just lumped into the action which to be fair for this being a visual novel is not a bad thing since it just instantly becomes engaging. The trophies well your standard visual novel layout go through all the routes. See all endings and complete the gallery. From what i understood there is a war going on these sort of android people are being used and tested on then built for war they fight for people that they do not associate with really sounds a bit similar to Detroit Become Human almost before that game became a thing. I will be picking up Muv-Luv and read through it then go back to this one so i can actually fully understand whats going on but i would recommend this compared to others i have played. Norn9 VAR Commons Platinum: NORN9VC Completionist Achieved 16/08/2019 Time Taken: 1 Day 3 hours (had small break) Personal Rating 5/10 (Difficulty 1/10 I used a guide) This game has been in my PS Vita backlog since the annual European Big In Japan sale. I started reading through the game a boy wakes up in a world that is 100 years in the past and has to find a way back home. Meets this girl who can barely speak and takes her time to find some words to respond. She has no way of being friendly or does not understand jokes and basic human interaction. The story then becomes about teaching her how to be a real person and getting this boy home. There are numerous other NPC's that you then converse with to show more of each of these two characters sides. Then after about 3 hours or so i started to get a bit bored so i resorted to skipping sections of the game. The bonus stories i completely skipped because i got so bored with it i wanted it to be over. The mini game to reach 5000 points after you finish the main story was well just tedious almost like the developer felt guilty about making this just a visual novel so they felt the need to add some weird mini game? It was not needed but i did grind it out in a few hours by playing then saving my progress uploading it to the cloud and playing again incase i was deducted a serious amount of points i can just download my save and start again. Would i recommend this game? Probably not. Game: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Platinum: Just Another Day At The Office Achieved: 17/08/2019 Time Taken: 2 Years 7 Months Personal Rating 10/10 (Difficulty 6/10 Using Guide) Well well well... here we are in August 2019 i started this game back at the end of December in 2016 because a friend of mine kindly game shared this with me since the only way to play it was to buy the expensive collectors edition of COD: Infinite Warfare, which i was not going to do. Big shout out to @IRATEEE for being a legend for doing that. Then this game became free on PlayStation Plus woohoo! After getting to about 40% completion fast forward to 2019 i started slowly chipping away at each trophy starting around April this year getting through Veteran "No Fighting In The War Room" and "One Shot, One Kill" i think were the biggest pain in my ass when it came to level difficulty. Reason being they are both levels where you have to run constantly and keep shooting with minimal cover given and plenty of A.I opportunity to shoot you and kill you. But veteran run completed was one of my biggest motivations to keep going. Then after finally doing all those "ad-hoc" trophies of kill this thing 20 times do this thing 10 times and so fourth it came down to two trophies stopping me both of which i never managed to achieve doing on the Xbox 360 back in 2007. The first being "New Squadron Record" completing the "Cargoship Mock-up this was a great confidence booster in possibly getting the second trophy of beating IW best time of 15.1 . So after several failed attempts i believe around 30 probably i finally did it with a time of 14.95 which was amazing. I felt so accomplished getting this platinum as its been a really long time for me getting a platinum like this that truly tests my skills. I am kind of looking forward to the reboot now but i will wait. Anyway back to grinding Monster Monpiece and if you want to join the PS Vita backlog here is the link Edited August 19, 2019 by DarkSoleride

Popular Post madbuk
#330 - √Letter Before starting this I had heard some very mixed opinions. Some liked it, and others seem to outright hate it. I'm part of the "like it" crowd. It's nothing outstanding and most of the endings are kinda forgettable, but I really liked the investigation sections (even if they were a bit easy) and I enjoyed delving into the history of the characters and piecing together the overarching mystery. It actually reminded me a lot of Edith Finch, another game I enjoyed a lot. Like several VNs I've played before, the choice system doesn't seem extreme enough to warrant how drastically different all of the endings are. That's my only real issue with the game though. It has good music, great artwork, interesting characters, serviceable gameplay, an intriguing narrative and a satisfying true ending (which was by far the best ending in the game.) It's not one I expect to ever stack, it's no Steins;Gate after all, but I enjoyed it while it lasted.
Popular Post Conor
#39- GOD OF WAR: GHOST OF SPARTA (PS3) #2000!!! The Ghost with the Most Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time Taken: 6 Days, 19 Hours & 32 Minutes (about 15 hours in-game) Rarity: 7.3% Very Rare (PSN) / 36.23% Uncommon (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Zeus May Cry (Gold)- Finish the game (Hard Mode) "A Spartan never lets his back hit the ground! Right, brother?" The second PSP God of War game came out after God of War III but not having had a PS3 I didn't get to play the latter, so I indulged in whatever games I could including the handheld titles. Although Chains of Olympus was a very good game and brought Kratos to handheld quite well, Ghost of Sparta is a step up from it in every which way. Graphically, the game looks almost as good as the PS2 titles, and even though I know this is a HD-ified version, it is crazy how good it holds up against those games. The combat, while familiar, also has some new mechanics, including the Thera's Bane which allows you to break through enemy defenses and watch them burn to death for good measure. The power I used the least was the Horn of Boreas because it was really the least useful outside a couple of the Challenges. Story wise the game could well be the best to this point of the series, with Kratos searching for his lost brother Deimos as well as the revelation that it was Deimos' abduction by Ares that was the catalyst for most of the series' plot until now. This game also explores Kratos as a character a lot better than the other games. It shows him at his most vulnerable, suffering incredible losses that spur him on his path to rejecting the gods of Olympus that sets the scene for God of War II onward. Gameplay wise, there is a bit of bullshit. for example, the hit detection is very off, with Kratos' hit box extending well beyond his actual physical self- dodges that were perfectly executed still ended up failing even though the enemies very clearly did not touch me. Some of the enemies were awful too, such as those Wraiths. Already among my least favourite enemy type in the series, the wraiths in this game are some special kind of crap. They can hit you with a ranged attack offscreen, they burrow into the ground and leap out at you and the dodgy hit detection also really grates when they do this, often being able to grab you even when they should have missed. I suppose that the increased challenge was a response to Chains of Olympus' relative ease but this was a bit too far I think. Not that it's the most difficult game in the world or anything, but I found myself getting frustrated at this game far more than other titles. Anyway, glad to say that overall I really enjoyed yet another God of War game and I still look forward to finishing the old games before finally getting my hands on the newest one, which from what I played is really awesome. But for now, I must work on my 40th platinum (Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on PS3). Also, hurray for 2000 trophies!

Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Alpha Plat Rain - Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time I never played this game back on the PS2 and was excited to play it on the PS3...until my save got corrupted and I said "fuck it". Now that I am trying to plat the Alphabet in 1 day I needed a P and thought "what the hell I will finish Sands of Time" and I am glad i did (and not just because it is all gold and silver trophies ) The combat is a bit shit (which is the one major complaint most people have about this game) but the running/climbing/jumping is all a lot of fun and the game has a great mechanic that if you fail you can rewind and try again. Unfortunately Ubisoft being Ubisoft thought "that mechanic makes too much sense in our game of trial and error...make a trophy limiting the player to only 20 attempts...but it is such a fun mechanic we should also make a trophy for using it 200 times." So if you take away the moronic logic of Ubisoft this was a blast to play. One last point the characters were a lot of fun and it is nice playing a game where people don't take themselves so seriously all the time...I know about the sequels though. Alpha Plat Rain -Claire Have had this in my PS Plus games for a long time but never got around to playing it. I figured it would make a good C game for my Alpha Plat Rain so I finally beat it (well almost). Thanks to the great walkthrough on the site this made beating it a breeze. Playing it though this game wasn't as good as Lone Survivor as it was more of a RUN game as oppose to an explore game. I beat Lone Survivor without a guide (need a guide for the plat though) but Claire would have been a chore without a guide as the levels all looked the same and it was just not as interesting as LS. Regardless an easy plat with some cool visuals so a thumbs up from me If you would like to see the rest of the Alpha Rain Plat click the link below. Just DEFIJQX left.
Popular Post Desmuria
#194 & #195- Hoggy 2 Platinum Hoggy Get all other trophies. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I never played the original Hoggy game but I'm glad I picked up Hoggy 2. It's such a cute little game. The little noises he makes are adorable and the puzzles are simple enough. I didn't even mind playing it twice for the platinum stacks. You can complete them in under an hour each. #196 & #197 - Mochi Mochi Boy Platinum Slime Get all other trophies. Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Ehhhh, after playing Hoggy 2, this was a bit of a disappointment. It's basically like Snake where you have to touch all the grid squares to complete the levels. The later levels get pretty tough and then you have to reach level 3 on the dungeon mode, which is randomised. I managed to complete the game in 20 minutes (PS4) and then 13 minutes (PSV), so it wasn't too painful. #198 - Trüberbrook A Nerd Saves the World Unlock all Trophies in Trüberbrook Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I love point-and-click adventure games and I've been keeping an eye on this one since its release. The story starts off pretty bland and I didn't feel connected to the main character AT ALL, which isn't great. It's beautifully drawn and the voice acting is decent, I just found it a tad boring. The story takes a wild turn and I kinda lost interest in the plot when I realised it wasn't going to be a ghost mystery, like they inititally hinted at. If you like point-and-clickers, definitely play it. Just don't get too excited about it, or you'll be sorely disappointed. I recommend using a guide which will tell you where to save scum. The game autosaves, so no save slots. Very annoying! Thank you to @themindisacity for the flawless guide. #199 - The Council Knight of the Golden Order Collect all the trophies Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Okay, wow, where do I even start with this game? It was a rollercoaster. The story is fantastic and I was invested from the very start until the end credits started rolling. It plays a lot like a Telltale game where your story depends on the choices you make. However, this game also has some RPG elements where you have to use points to upgrade your skills and collect items to help you along the way. The game also offers you the choice of being an Occultist, Detective or Diplomat at the start of the game. Their traits differ, which means that some situations will be easier for one class, but not the others. I chose the Occultist class as my main, so I could easily lockpick my way through people's stuff without any hassle. The only trophy that concerned me was reaching level 15. If you don't do enough exploring, then you won't get anywhere near level 15 by the end. Because of this, I scoured every area to within an inch of its life, grabbing everything I could to gain that precious EXP. The story was pretty good and I genuinely wanted to see what would happen next. I wish I could say more, but spoilers! I highly recommend this game, even if you're not going for the platinum and just want to roll through it. Special thanks to @themindisacity once again for the fabulous guide. It really helped to keep track of where you should be level-wise at the end of episodes. My road to 200 platinums is finally over and I'm going to start playingGOD OF WAR Finally! I'll be so proud to have it as my 200th platinum. Very excited! Edited August 21, 2019 by Desmuria
Popular Post Stormverse
Overall this was a pretty good stealth/RPG with a good story. The only issues with it are mostly optimization, poor framerates, random crashes during fast travel and some glitches that either get you killed or force you to reload an autosave. The platinum takes somewhere around 30 hours and there are only a couple missable trophies, as long as you save before you do the final mission.
GraniteSnake
On 18/08/2019 at 8:08 PM, Deadly_Ha_Ha said: # 27 - Assault Suit Leynos Difficulty - 7/10 Enjoyment - 4/10 I like to think that when I'm giving consideration to a game's difficulty and enjoyment ratings, that it's a balance between the game itself and the platinum effort since for me they're one and the same. Well let me distinguish between both parts for ASL: without the inclusion of the platinum effort, the game's difficulty would be maybe a 4/10, and my enjoyment would be maybe a 6/10. This is one of those games that, if you don't care about getting the platinum then I'd recommend not bothering. This list is comprised mostly of stupid, obnoxious trophies. I was going to make a guide for the game but it's just too much of a pain despite my real-time 100% being around 9 hours of in-game time. By far the worst trophy of all is Old Tricks - 3 full hours of my 9 hour platinum run was dedicated to this single trophy. You can go and watch a video of it being done in only a few minutes, and in a successful attempt that is how long it takes, but how simply it's done in a video belies how random and RNG-related the doing of this really is. You effectively have to kill only the boss in Stage 1 on Classic Mode, but different enemies spawn randomly and are seemingly designed to negate this trophy, because if they kill each other (and they do, constantly), you get the points for it and you have to start the stage over again. You have to be absolutely flawless at this one particular thing, and it demands such a buy-in of skill which no other point in the game demands that it makes the entire trophy list completely imbalanced. Without this one trophy the difficulty would be a 5/10, which may not seem like much of a jump but I consider the difference between a 5 & 7 to not be unsubstantial. The game is good, if you like side-scrolling games like this. The majority of the trophies come from Arcade Mode, which is easier in every way except for some reason the final boss, to whom they've added an extra phase from Classic Mode, which is just how the original game was released complete with a step up in difficulty. But again, a small handful of the 35 trophies in total, including a few which are honestly a little buggy, diminished my enjoyment of this game to below average. As someone who gives ratings without inflation-bias, which is to say that a 5/10 isn't bad and is instead perfectly average for my relative perspective, 4/10 isn't horrible, but it's disappointing that the trophy list works against the game big time here. Congratulations on the platinum, quick question, did you run into any trouble with the 'Rust Resistant' trophy? I've attempted it a number of times now and I can't seem to get it to unlock, not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong. I'd have thought this would've been one of the easier ones, but it's the one that's given me the most problems so far..

That's irritating, I guess I'll just leave it for this play-through and attempt it again on the next, getting tired of repeating the level. Shame about the trophies and the workarounds necessary to get them to unlock, takes away from an otherwise enjoyable game. I'm about to attempt Hard Brawler and Superhuman Pilot on Stage 5, hoping I don't run into anymore issues. ?
