Popular Post supercanaries
#32 Rayman Legends This has been one of my favorite platform games of all time. The fact that it seems hard at first, especially with some level, but the more you play and practice, the more you go back and think "how could I find this level hard?" and I guess this proves it's a game based on the ability and the devotion of the player. Plus, the musical level are just amazing, I replayed them so many times even though I already had the gold cup just because they were super fun. Finally, after months of logging in every. single. day. I could just so that I could get silver / gold cups to level up awesomeness to 11 (only missing trophy), I achieved it. This platinum leaves me feeling satisfied if anything for my constancy.
ZitMeatloaf
#34 - The Perplexing Orb "Not so Perplexing After All!" My son decided he wanted to spend some of his allowance on this game. We checked out a few of the offerings in the October Sale, watched the preview video for this game and he thought it looked fun. Four-and-a-half dollars later, it was ours. My son had fun with it, and I suppose that's what really matters. It's not the type of game I would normally purchase, but since I had this easy platinum game taking up space on my hard drive, just ripe for the picking, I decided I may as well finish it too. It's... alright, I guess. From the credits it seems like it was made by one guy, so it's not one of these mass produced EZPZ games that Ratalaika churns out every 5 days (It also was originally a Wii U game for the first three years of its existence, so the developer obviously didn't have trophies in mind when he made it). It's sort of like Marble Madness, but much more simplified. Nothing groundbreaking here, but nothing to outright dislike either. Some of the levels provided a decent challenge, but after a few tries they're all doable without too much effort.

Popular Post Jelloycat
Platinum #88 - Cat Quest II I was a fan of the first game so naturally I bought this one right away. It definitely didn't disappoint either, it has all the same charm as the first game, plus this time you get to play as a cute dog as well! My one gripe was finding the final pieces of equipment that I needed. You can't zoom in on the map or anything so it makes finding the final treasure chests you need a bit of a pain. Now to wait for Cat Quest 3!

Popular Post LucianaRosethorn
Platinum #22 Ni No Kuni II Enjoyment: 7 Difficulty: 4 I got this game on the Summer sale and I'm happy I did because there's not many games which make me play it for hours on end but this one did. This game is a love/hate relationship, there's a lot I hate and little I like but for some reason I love it. The story is terrible but the world is beautiful, there's so many game mechanic which don't work but it's refreshing to see something new, I hate all the characters but I like the battle system and so on. There's just something about it which makes we wanting to come back which is funny considering how much I complained about it at the start. Do I enjoy it more than the first? I'm not sure, both games are very different to each other and I haven't played the first in years. Would I recommend the game? Absolutely if it's on sale. I still have a lot of DLC to do and of course you need to be high level without there being an actual way to grind effectively, as I've done with the main game, I'll pop on every so often and eventually it'll get done. I look forward to seeing 100% on this game and I'm happy to have experienced it.

Popular Post Zach
#147 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 2.5/10 Time: 10-11hrs Wow, just wow. I was not expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised with this entry to the series. Infinity Ward has really brought Call of Duty back to respectable with this title. The campaign was dark and brutal, just like they promised. I know this will be weird coming from a trophy hunter, but I was kind of hoping for a harder trophy list. Like something along the lines of Black Ops 1 campaign trophies. Or I guess i should say, I wish Veteran wasn't so easy. I can't wait to get into the Multiplayer and Spec Ops. I liked the beta, so I should like the full version. This is definitely in my top 5 CoD games now. 1) Black Ops 1 2) Modern Warfare (2019) 3) MW2 4) Black Ops 2 5) MW1 (2007) Edited October 29, 2019 by Zach
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #404 N̶O̶T̶ ̶F̶O̶U̶N̶D̶ Difficulty: 2/10 Playtime: 10-15 hours Enjoyment: 7/10 In for a penny, in for a pound, as they say. Played Layers of Fear 1 last year, enjoyed it decently and thought it had some unrealized potential, so I gave the sequel a go... and it was pretty alright! I enjoyed the story and found their attempts at telling this specific type of story (even the beats that were repeated wholesale from the original) to be more mature and eloquent than last times. Even when the symbolism gets a little too heavy-handed or, conversely, impermeable, the underlying sentiment always provides a steady emotional anchor to the proceedings (what, you were expecting me not to make a seafaring pun about a game set on a haunted passenger ship? Ech, can't do that!). The actual gameplay itself is what you expect. Though it must be said, these kinds of games do themselves no favours by forcing you to replay sections to get the full picture. Very little changes inbetween playthroughs, and the effect of scares and events are lessened when you know exactly when they happen. Waiting for areas to load while you're fiddling around with door handles is likewise no one's idea of a good time. Ultimately though, it was a net positive experience, and one that always impresses from an artistic point of view, especially considering they don't exactly get to play around with AAA budgets here. Bloober Team seem to be closing in on something that seems pretty uniquely theirs, and if they keep learning from their mistakes and improving upon their work (listening to me is a start ?), I think they're pretty much bound to create something truly special one of these days. The layers just keep on adding up...
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#286 - Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight Dancing in Moonlight Obtained all trophies. #287 - Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight Dancing in Starlight Obtained all trophies. I originally played these two back when they first released in Japan (I imported the Vita collection that included both games). I figured now was as good a time as any to jump into the localised versions of these games. I enjoyed these just as much as I did when I first played them. P3D has the better song remixes (Lotus Juice is legendary!), but P5D has the better waifus of course thanks to Futaba. Anne is pretty damn hot too, but let's keep that between you and I.
Popular Post Conor
#42- ASSASSIN'S CREED III: LIBERATION (PS VITA) Platinum Trophy Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 (without glitches buggering it up) Time Taken: 4 Months, 3 Weeks, 1 Day (30 hours in-game) Rarity: 1.1% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 8.33% Very Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Complete 100% of all Mission Constraints (Silver)- Achieve 100% Synchronization in all Sequences "I. Will. NOT. Serve. You..." I figured it was high time to get myself the plat in one of the games I have for my PS Vita, a console I have been neglecting because in truth besides a few downloaded PSP and PSOne Classics, I have very few titles on it right now, though maybe this is when I should tear into it before the backlog gets too big on it! Working my way through the Assassin's Creed games sees me taking on the portable entry and the first such one with trophy support, the companion piece to Assassin's Creed III. Whereby I didn't enjoy that game a whole lot, I was curious as to what the game could accomplish using the same engine but on smaller hardware. The results were mixed, to say the least. The story of Avéline de Grandpré had potential but they didn't really explore the setting or characters in much great depth so overall the narrative is rather forgettable if mildly entertaining. The gameplay isn't too bad all things considered, though Avéline could be the worst character to control so far in the series. Navigation was tough and imprecise despite the environment being obviously tailor made to accomodate the smaller console. The concept of changing personas was interesting enough but again not really explored as well as it could have been. The implementation of the Vita's specialized controls was pretty pointless. And to top it all off, the performance is pretty poor, with frequent frame drops below 20 FPS which the game normally runs at. It's also very buggy. Hard crashes and falling through the world, NPCs glitching out and, worst of all, glitches affecting the Persona Collector and The Truth trophies which meant I had to play through a second time being careful of how I went about things. It was pretty painful to do that but the game is not particularly hard except for having to get 100% on the mission constraints- those last missions were annoying to not take any damage in. The second playthrough was much easier without having to worry about the constraints but it was annoying to do. Oh, yeah, there's also a multiplayer element but it's more like a table top game and I don't think it matters whether anyone else is playing or not. It was easy but repetitive. Other than the glitched ones, there were some other obnoxious trophies such as Tree Ninja (for seemingly simple conditions there's actually only one very specific way of doing it), getting 50 kills from haystacks with the blow pipe and climbing the equivalent of Mount Everest (just got two elastic bands and had her run up a high wall repeatedly for three hours straight until it popped). I will be playing as Avéline again twice more on PS3 and PS4 but I'm not too excited to be heading back there just yet, although the trophy lists aren't nearly as crappy. Popular Post StraightVege
Gobelin MasterUnlock all trophies #213 A substantial improvement over the previous title, which I didn't much like. Load times are reduced, a proper quicksave system has been implemented (a godsend in a game so heavy with trial and error), and the expanded skill tree and larger array of gadgets/equipment provide the player with lots of options. This sequel is less clunky, looks better, and is just a lot more fun to play. I still don't enjoy the massive, confusing level design, though; like the first game, it's sprawling and maze-like, with a lot of verticality. A 3D map would've been welcome. I also had difficulty with platforming and grabbing handholds sometimes, as Styx controls strangely in the air, and doesn't always grab what you'd expect him to. It's a problem, since climbing around is frequently necessary and highly beneficial. I encountered a few guards with broken AI pathing, too, which is irritating when they're in your way. The character of Styx, the titular goblin rogue, is quite over-the-top on this outing: he never ceases to make foulmouthed quips and pop culture references, and often addresses the player directly, breaking the forth wall. Most of this chatter is amusing, but the constant stream of it it can wear on you sometimes. It's like they tried to turn him into Deadpool. I still think Saul Jephcott's great performance as this dark underdog is one of the highlights of the game regardless—there aren't many protagonists like Styx. Shards is a pretty solid stealth title as a whole, and should satisfy most genre fans. I was disappointed by the abrupt conclusion and cliffhanger ending, but I hope to see a third installment someday. Considering that this series hasn't done too well financially, and that the developers are no longer under Focus Home, I do wonder about the feasibility of that, however. Aragami is a ghostly shinobi, who must stick to the shadows to remain unseen and recharge his powers. This makes for interesting movement through the environment, as you rapidly teleport (blink) from one shadow to the next. You also have access to an array of very powerful supernatural abilities, which are unlocked by finding hidden scrolls. These moves are so strong that they make the game a cakewalk, such as Shinen, a black hole that can instantly eliminate multiple guards. The visual style is cel-shaded, while not being too cartoony, and is quite appealing, with the main character looking particularly good. There's no HUD screen clutter, either, since the status of Aragami's powers are indicated on his cape—a nice touch, although the cape sometimes bunches up, making it difficult to read. There were occasional technical issues: frame rate drops, screen tearing, and textures popping in or out, but these weren't major. This game's real problem is the lack of a satisfying challenge. The powers are just far too effective: the player can run around invisible most of the time, mark every enemy in the vicinity through walls, remove groups of enemies with a single trap, and silently kill from afar via projectile. I'm torn, because I actually enjoy when devs avoid over-balancing, and allow the player to be powerful, but in this case, it trivializes the game. Exacerbating this, the guards are practically blind, besides being quite slow to react. Aragami has to be one of the easiest stealth titles I've ever played. Still fun, though. It's not perfect, but if this is the closest thing I can get to a new Tenchu, I'll take it! Aragami was close to being brilliant, and I feel like they'd knock it out of the park with a sequel. Popular Post Sora9427
Platinum Trophy N145 - Overwatch Overwatch Platinum TrophyCollect all other Overwatch trophies. Personal Vote: 10/10 YEEES! I'm so So happy to get this Platinum ? Overwatch is a game i absolutely Love. I Loved it since i watched the Beta Played and when i got a Ps4 it was one of the First games i got and wanted to play since i knew i was finally able to! And Boy what a Journey! The game keeps chaning now many characters are different, there are a lot of new ones (Only Ana was new when i got it and few weeks after Sombra!), we have 2-2-2, arcade mode and many other new stuff, i simply, as said, love this game despite making me pissed off at times but i guess that's just what happens with every online game Obviously the game is not perfect and some Decision by Blizzard are doubtful but stile for me it's surely the best FPS i've ever played! I Spent sooo many hours on this game, actually i could check in my profile but i guess at least 700+ hours, i even stopped thinking about trophies and the Plat after a While expecting it to be impossible for me but here i am So how did i got back to trying and getting the trophies? Well i tried to join a boosting session for OW last weeks and while the first one did not go well, the last one did! So i Managed to get there Orisa's Trophy (Which is Nice and always wonder how the Heck you are supposed to do it normally) and Zen's Trophy most of all! That was my biggest trouble and reason why i stopped trying working on the plat. That trophy to do normally is soooo much RNG it's stupid. It's base don what Zenyatta was at first, super high fire rate, Orb not disappering ever, going through walls, increasing damage by 50% and so son, and with that version it was hard but not impossibile, but with how the Discord Orb is now? No way to do that normally, not even with a grav since you have to get the Target killed 1 by 1, either you are super luck with that or even then you can't do it, and i tried too for a while when i saw a Zarya on my team or with a friend! So Yeah i Boosted that one, but that was it, i decided i wanted to get the last trophy and the Plat playing myself and what i was missing was "Waste not, Want not" from Reaper. I spent the last 3 days playing only reaper and trying to going for it (God I am not a fan of reaper plus uusing only him all the last 6-7 hours of games ugh) and i Finally did it! I Managed to sneak up to a Zen kill him, hit a Sym and a Moira then ult kill them both and "Ding" Trophy, 3 Solo Kill with no reload! I'm so happy it popped up after soo many fails and close calls in other games Gameplay wise i think i don't have to tell anything, most people know about OW whether they like the game or not; so talking about the Trophies i think most of them are actually doable normally! Some Like the new hanzo, or Torb are pretty tricky but with a good Grav or situation you can make them! The only really stupid trophies are the on for Zen, i said everything for it already, they should really change it either give more secs or less kills required; and then i would say for the DLCs, Oris pull, Doomfist ult & Baptiste ult tropheis are waaaay too situational or even impossible almost, seriously who decided those numbers clearly didn't even tested if they were achivable normally in a game. But that's about it, for the other trophies i think they are all doable with pratice and patience! Overwatch is the first game that made me actually watch some E-Sport too! Never cared about ti since non of the game i love usually was Full online and had tournaments but OW did and so i watched and enjoied (Well more the 1st Season that this 2nd one) the OWL and waiting for the OW WC in few weeks Anyway i think i already said a lot so not gonna write that much more or it would get boring Obviously i'm gonna continue playing OW and now with even less worries! :3 Hope the next events and updates are more exciting for the game because Sigma was cool but goddamn those shields now everywhere, it's too much.... Here is the Plat Image, nothing amazing, i was just Happy and Glad to get the trophy i stopped there at the moment Spoiler

Popular Post LucianaRosethorn
Platinum # 23 Tales From the Borderlands Difficulty: 1 (It's a Telltale game) Enjoyment: 6 This game is pretty good, for Telltale at least. It's definitely one of my more favourite games they've done but it's also coming from someone who's only played two Walking Dead games, so take that as you will. I love all the characters in this game which is pretty rare for me but everyone is done really well, from the psycho who love to make face pizza's to even Vaughn. My favourite characters would definitely be Rhys & Gortys, the others are good but none of the others made me laugh quite as much. I'm curious to see how this game connects to Borderlands 3, which I don't know anything about, but hopefully I get to hear about these guys again! My favourite part in the game would probably be the finger gun fight, I mean who doesn't love a finger gun fight?! Though Chapter 3 with all the jellyfish was definitely the most beautiful part of the game, really set the mood for dying.
