Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophies Nos. 137 & 138! ? Lego Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin Master of Spinjitzu The funniest LEGO game I played on Vita! Followed by Lord of the Rings and Batman 3. Nothing more to add... Just the platinum screenshot! Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 Gamindustri's ultimate savior In this game the main character is Nepgear, and I prefer her to Neptune! But unfortunately the game structure is more or less the same of the first Re;Birth: the same dungeons structures, the same item drops hunting with your pdf file opened , the same enemies, and here you have to fight the same boss over and over again (the Underling... I was sick of her!), and you have also to move the shares from one city to another too many times (for an ending route, for recruiting all the CPUs, for recruiting all the Oracles, and then again for all the CPUs ending!). And some dungeon plans "add enemies" were hidden in the NG++, so I needed three run (well, actually two and a half) in order to unlock all the dungeons, which are required for the Stella's dungeon minigame. And this one is completely useless... I finished the game last week, but I needed 5 or 6 days in order to clear the missing (and long) dungeons. I needed 5 attempts in order to clear the True Neptral Tower, which requires 13h and 20 minutes! (but you can switch off the Vita. At least is not like the 50 hours trophy in Yomawari: Night Alone... ). Surely the Stella DLC pack is mandatory for the platinum,, otherwise this minigame is a pure RNG trash. The story was good, but I finally discovered (during the NG++) that the button can skip the cutscenes, while I kept smashing the ... ? But surely the "conquest ending" was sad... ?. Finally the platinum screenshot with Stella! I really hope that there are new dungeons and enemies in the Re;Birth 3... Now I can go back to Trails of Cold Steel... And I'm waiting for MediEvil! Popular Post madbuk
#339 - The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Before playing this I had heard from many sources that this was worse than the first game.. honestly I'm not sure I have a preference, this one had a pretty annoying infamy system which punished you for ignoring side content, but you can bypass this entirely by doing everything in the open world before you start being punished, and then just rush the story. The combat felt a little better here than in the first game, although it was mostly the same. The side content is just as bad as in any other open world Spider-Man game (Insomniac's included), so I've just gotten used to the repetition from that. The story was clearly setting up an Amazing Spider-Man 3, it's a shame it never happened because these games were pretty fun. This had barely any content though, only 14 main chapters which only have one actual level each. I did like the Peter Parker sections that fleshed out the story a bit more than the first game did, although the story still wasn't anything overly special. The suit grind at the end of the game was pretty dumb but luckily it didn't take very long. I'll enjoy stacking this at some point in the future, but it won't be for a while.
Popular Post ZachBoardyHD
Platinum 86 Detroit: Become Human If you've played a Quantic game you'll know the basics of how the game works as it's a cinematic gameplay where it's like you're watching a film play out but you interact with the game with minimal effort involved I.e, walking around and pressing certain buttons to move the game along with its story. I was keen on playing this game eventually as I absolutely loved Beyond Two Souls with its story and theme and I was too interested with the the story and theme of this game for the most part. I liked the 3 characters you controlled as you follow their journey that they took for their 'freedom' as they might be robots but could feel human emotions, it really did remind me of the TV series 'Humans' with how the story goes but obviously less furutrisitic. The graphics, voice work are one the best I've seen I any game as for thr story it does try hard for you to invest in the characters, but the one I felt more invested in was with Kara and Alice because not only do you follow their story with being free but alsowith the emotional bond between them as a mother and daughter. Even though I really did enjoy the game, I do prefer Beyond Two Souls however as I felt more invested in Jodie story more than the others in this game. I'm so happy too that there weren't a 'see all endings' trophy because even though there's not many different ending you can see a characters death technically as an ending and oh boy, there's quite a lot of ways they can die. Also the biggest gripe I had with the game was with Markus and his love interest as there is only one (North) and no other potential romances which to me is odd as they could have made Simon another potential love interest. Difficulty 3/10 Enjoyment 7/10
Popular Post Dauersack
#32 Finally done with Uncharted 1-3. What was planned to be a quick catch up to get ready for Uncharted 4 has taken me many months due to me not being as high on the series as I hoped I'd be, requiring long pauses after each game to not burn out on it completely. The trophy lists certainly didn't help, tons of collectibles, punishing difficulty mode, speedrun trophies. Uncharted 3 for me was by far the hardest and also the worst of the three Uncharted games in terms of design, some comedian once told me it was easier than 2, to that guy I say well played, you got me with that prank. Uncharted 3 puts in new features that do not make the game any better, and it takes some quality of life things away to make it quite frustrating. You do not fight humans in UC3 like in the first two games, you fight bullet sponges... no scratch that, what you actually fight are nonstop grenade throwing T800 terminators that do not even flinch while they are being riddled with bullets, running ever closer while you slowly run out of amo and then you get killed in one salve because you have to play on crushing difficulty. The crushing difficulty in UC3 felt worse than brutal difficulty in UC1, endless hordes of enemies spawning all around you, some requiring several magazines until they go down, a ton of rpgs and grenade launchers among the enemies, the most unfair battle scenarios in the series so far and the hands down worst checkpoint system I had the displeasure of seeing for quite a while, basically a perfect blueprint for frustration, at least on crushing. Worst offender however was the last boss, something ND seems to have trouble with in all their games, but this one is a new low. It is a quick time boss only worse, the poorest concept for a boss but to make matters worse it is several minutes long and you do not get to see which button to press on crushing difficulty, making it a tedious trial and error affair until you are familiar with it, what a way to end any game. Sure UC1-2 weren't all that great in terms of bossfights either, but it was not this bad. Story was alright, a bit dumber than the other 2, a bit more ridiculous which is natural given its a sequel, and the big bad didn't even get to do anything, yet alone the big threat we didn't even get to see. Got the plat, got some of the added trophies, probably won't do any more of those because brutal difficulty in this game sounds like a straight 10/10 in terms of frustration and I currently have no desire to speedrun the game either. I shall take a break once more to recharge my Uncharted batteries and then finally dive into Uncharted 4, the game I have been eyeing from the beginning, and I hope it does not continue the trend of each UC game annoying me a little more with each sequel. Now I am off to a series I will like a lot more, Spyro. Nostalgia will carry this one for me even if the reignited trilogy should come with some edges.
Popular Post DamagingRob
#413- Watch_Dogs 2 Graduation Day Win every trophy Well... it's not as good as the first game to me. I liked that game a lot, until I got to the stupid Disc Space Full trophy. This one was alright, but I just didn't care about anyone in the story like I did Aiden Pierce. It being set in Chicago could also be why I preferred it. I was not that good at stealth in this one, either.. Eventually, just started treating it like a 3rd person shooter, since I was always getting spotted and into shootouts anyways. And finding the path to mission objectives could sometimes be confusing as hell. RNG made another dumb appearance in Dedsec events, as well. All this just made it not as fun as the first, imo. Platinum image + a couple extra: Spoiler While the game felt like a downgrade from the first, look at the puppy! Best game ever. And in the last one, you can see me protecting @snakebit10. I'm sure that guy regretted going after him. #414- Senran Kagura: Estival Versus How I Spent My Summer Vacation Obtained all trophies. I think I have a pretty much similar opinion on this as I did Shinovi Versus. Fun for awhile, but gets super dull and repetitive. Only exasperated by an increase in the roster. I had to slowly chip away at those routes, or I probably would have gone insane. :/ I will probably play the 2 extra ones that were added via a patch, though, sometime soon. I deleted and played without the patch for that final trophy, because the finisher stuff was just too confusing. Any guide does not seem to match all the names of the NA version, which threw me for a loop. And also doesn't say what mission to find them in on here. Just what map.. So I just said screw it, and deleted the patch. And I don't know if playing without the patch made this faster, but I made more money just spamming the recommended attack for combos until I was killed. Rather than stopping when the first combo ended (which was always after one attack; I don't think it's possible to string multiple together), letting them kill me, and sitting through more loading screens. Got what I needed in almost no time. Anyways, next Senran Kagura game for me will be Peach Beach Splash. Will be interesting to see what a change in gameplay is like.

Popular Post StraightVege
Both Sides NowEarn all the Trophies in Shadwen #212 Escort missions are one of the most despised tasks in gaming, so Frozenbyte decided to be bold, by making an entire stealth title focused on sneaking a dimwitted AI (Artificial Idiocy, in this case) through a miserable medieval city. It works about as well as you'd expect: Lily's behavior is so erratic, it's infuriating. Sometimes, she'll safely sprint right past guards who can clearly see her, other times she refuses to move no matter what, or will even backtrack to a previously cleared area for no reason. Gameplay quickly devolves, as the player randomly yanks on objects with the Tenchu-like grapnel device to distract soldiers, while frantically mashing the "move" command button, and just hoping Lily will somehow cheat her way past them again. She's essentially invisible and invincible, so there's no reason to feel any concern for this character, and no chance to build any connection to her—the child's presence only holds you back. Grappling around is finicky as hell to control, too, and your character often ends up flailing all over the place in futility, as you attempt to pull her up onto a higher platform. Being above the enemies to plan your next move is vital, so this is a frequent irritation. Don't include a mechanic in your game if you can't get it to function smoothly, please. Terrible! Shadwen's only saving grace is the ability to rewind time, a la Prince of Persia. Stealth games are inherently trial and error, so this feature works extremely well, allowing for more player experimentation, and eliminating the need to reload saves when something goes horribly wrong. I'm surprised more games in the genre haven't tried it! Amusingly, there's no story justification for having this power. My guess is they included it because guiding Lily is so horrible that the experience would've been torture without it. The game is far more playable when you go the lethal route, ignoring Lily's existence altogether, as you remove every guard in a variety of ways. You can even craft traps, like bombs and poison dart throwers, which make killing everybody a cinch. The problem is, it then becomes a bland, mindless killfest, devoid of anything interesting or challenging. The satisfaction of going on a rampage wears thin after 15 minutes. Shadwen just isn't good, no matter how you slice it. Seems like they had a bunch of potentially cool ideas they wanted to implement, and crammed them together into an incohesive mess. I love Skyrim despite its faults, and God - does it have a ton of faults. Barring a mod that fixes certain issues being available on PS4, I will likely never get 100% in the game. Bethesda didn't bother fixing anything in the game for its release on PS4, so screw them. But this game is so dang fun, I can live with all of this.

Popular Post Mikel
#185 ~ Concrete Genie The Artist of Denska Known as "the street artist who brought Denska back to life". As someone who had been bullied when I was younger (albeit for different reasons since I am autistic), the game's central theme of escaping your bullies with the use of illicit street painting resonated a lot with me. I really enjoy the game a lot for its story, characters, and the amazing beautiful and vibrant graphics that fit amazingly well with it and it's setting. This is one game I greatly recommend, and if you were bullied, or if you know someone who was also bullied, you will find resonance and comfort with this game's theme. Popular Post Baker
True Successor of Hokuto Shinken. #228 Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Total Playtime: 89 hours. Before this game I never heard about Fist of the North Star and now that makes sense. It’s an anime or manga series and the only anime I ever watched is DBZ. But I knew it was a Yakuza clone and as a Yakuza fan I needed to play this. The game is set in an apocalyptic world and you’re a fighter who can hit all pressure points in the human body which makes them explode. This is the one thing I actually liked better in this game than in a Yakuza game: The battlesystem. The rest is basically the same with minigames, substories, colosseum, etc.. It has a little bit of an open world attached in the form of a desert you can drive through with your buggy, but there is literally nothing to do in that desert except fighting some enemies. The hardest thing in this game is perfect combo’s in Ken’s Clinic, which is like Karaoke in Yakuza. But it comes nowhere near Otometal my life from Kiwami in terms of difficulty. Overall a fun game. Can’t wait for the Yakuza remasters to finally get a western release! Edit: And why wasn’t there a sprint button or sprint shoes in this game! Kenshiro runs sooo slow. And you’re running a lot in this game. Edited October 23, 2019 by BB-BakkerJ

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #199 Ice Age: Scrat's Nutty Adventure Ice came, Ice saw, Ice conquered Collect All Trophies Kinda disappointed in how glitchy it is. Fell through the ground and certain walls over 6+ times. Moving platforms for some reason after I hit level 6ish started to be really jittery. It was just really annoying, didn't impact much. The camera could be really crazy, particularly on the sliding portions [which often would result in me flying out of the enviornment into an abyss]. Had a glitch where I couldn't even climb up stuff. Sometimes checkpoints wouldn't register. Sometimes double jumping wouldn't register either. And after dying a lot of the time I couldn't move right away after respawning. Combat is terrible, it reminds me of Jak & Daxter if J&D's combat was awful. There's no impact at all to any of your attacks and every enemy takes multiple hits to die. 2-5. For most enemies [crabs/bugs] you couldn't properly melee with your combo quickly. I think it was because the model of the enemies is too small for the hit box of the attacks, but I have no idea honestly. It felt like once I figured out why it would switch it up and prove me wrong. But you should just run by most enemies if you play the game, it's way less tedious which I didn't learn until after replaying through for the collectables (which you have to do for 3/4ths of the game for them).. Sometimes the groups of enemies can be up to 7 and they take ages to jump, stomp to death. But the base platforming, aside from the camera being a bit too close to your character which could create some unwanted movements, was fine enough. It also kind of reminded me of Jak & Daxter, since you do the spin attack and you get a bit more air/distance. Just like J&D. Things go a lot smoother once you get the double jump ability (after the first section of the game). I was a bit surprised that a game generally aimed at kids/families that the game required prediction jumps (needing to jump prior to a platform being in distance of your jump). Nothing is really hard in the game. The bosses were okay, but needing to replay them to get collectables was annoying. Since you had to just keep going through every level until you finished it since you could only teleport from the first checkpoint of each level for some reason. I wouldn't recommend this for $40 (or the $50+ CAD [not including tax] I had to pay). But if you burn through the rest of the 3D platformers on PS4, and really want one... and can get the game for $15 or less, I'd say it's probably worth that. Especially if they patch it. Due to the glitches I can't even put this in the top of the Outright Games games. I'd put it nearer the bottom of all the ones I've played (think I'm missing like 2). Ben 10 was the most polished of them all, and this was probably the least polished. Which is a shame, as I feel like it otherwise would've been one of their best games had it just had more polish... and the combat was not so terrible. The music when it's there is okay, but it's rarely playing so things feel a bit empty. Oh and one other glitchy part is when you shoot up on a geyser Scrat's body does the jittering thing the platforms do it's really annoying there as well. Oh x2, there were also some framerate drops at times. But hey, I can finally fucking play Ni no Kuni Remastered. Praise be to Yevon. I don't meant to be so down on Scrat, I did have some fun with it. But I can't ignore the problems. Oh, but to end on a positive. Some of the visuals are pretty nice. Not Horizon Zero Dawn or anything, obviously, but for a licensed game that likely had a shoestring budget I think it looks pretty nice.

But as the release date approched i kinda lost interest for it. Finally wanted to play it this summer but i already had my hands full with U2 & U3 MP grind so yeah, i postponed it again. And now after playing it i can say: Wow, just wow. This game is just amazing to say at least. Gameplay, graphics, story, controls, dialogs and of course characters are very good. Trophy wise it's not very hard, i would say much easier then previous Uncharted games since u can use exploits during crashing run. After 2 full playthroughs (moderate and crushing) i used a glitch for a speedrun trophy. On one hand i wanted to speed things up a bit, and on the other hand i got lazy to do a 3rd run All in all great game and i really enjoyed it. Popular Post StilRh
Plat #163 A Plague Tale: Innocence Fun 7/10 Difficulty 4/10 Time: ~25 hours Excellent gaming experience. Very dark story told well. Only things I didn't like was whiffing some sling shots when enemies bum rushed me and worrying about missing crafting materials required for the trophies (I had plenty in the end). Plat #164 The Silver Case HD Fun 2/10 Difficulty 1/10 or 9/10 depending on how well you can tollerate this game Time: ~15 hours I was really hoping to enjoy this as Suda has quite a reputation, however I couldn't get into it. The story was very ambitious, first hard boiled cops and murders then [spoilers], getting really surreal and absurd at points. I switched off at the end of the transmission cases and just held down the x botton to hurry things along in the placebo cases. The gameplay is very out dated but workable. I think a pure VN approach would have worked better to be fair. Large parts of my time with this game an unenjoyable slog.

Popular Post yellowwindow7
Be greater / Marvel Spider-Man this by far is the best spider man game and the best super hero game i ever played right now. seriously, it tops my beloved spider man 2 the video game on the ps2 and it's more fun than both arkham asylum and city, and it's twice the epicness of infamous 2. i really loved the boss fights especially when fighting both Rhino and Scorpion, there's also some really good small details like when i dressed peter parker as Punk Spider Man the people who was subbed to Spider Man's website start talking about the new suit as some have likes it and other hated it and then on the radio news later on J. Jonah Jameson started his hate speech of spider man saying people should stop praising spiderman on what new suit he comes up with and focus on their lives as he think the punk suit is very stupid, then people started to reply on his account on Spider Man's website ( NYCITYCRAWLER ) or something making fun of him and how he's just jealous of spiderman ? the things i really dislikes about this game is Merry Jane and Miles stealth missions as they sounded and played in an outdated fashion to today's standard, especially MJ's... you just stealth your way then enter a room to looks at stuff, as i really liked the final stealth mission of Miles when trying to escape Rhino, which have some really good tension since sometime they will remove the pointer on where you should go in that section. also i hated some of the side missions, especially the Taskmaster's challenges about the Drone, because the web swinging system in this game is focusing more on speed instead of accuracy and after i F bombed a lot in my room i just realize that you don't even need to get gold on all of them which i did, you can just get silver/spectacular and it should be enough. i will gonna try to 100% every DLC of this game once it land on a sale one day. next platinum is Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash! which is the closest to plat from what i'm playing now.
