Jermster_91
#99 Island Time . This PSVR game is basically you stranded on a island with a talking crab trying to survive for at least 20 mins on coconuts and fish. This game is a 2 out of 10 in terms of difficulty with trying to die in 10 seconds and surviving for 20 mins being the most challenging of the trophies. Overall, this game should take you more more than 2 hours at most. An easy game overall in the event you decide to go for this platinum..

Popular Post Aranea Highwind
A Tale of Origins and EndingsAcquired all trophies. As a fan of the Nioh franchise this game was worth it for me. The dialogue doesn't take itself seriously and having that type of variety on this age feels fresh.

Popular Post Moridin83
#201 Senran Kagura Bon Appetit! There's no other way to put it, I didn't like this game. I'm a fan of the Senran Kagura franchise, so I figured why not? In this case, that was a mistake. The rhythm gameplay is rudimentary, with the notes on a line always coming from and going to the exact same positions, the music is forgettable, and the track roster is tiny. You wouldn't think a small number of songs is a big deal if you don't particularly care for the music, but you have to play 200 songs, and even with all the DLC installed, there are 22 tracks. That is a large part of why it took me almost 7 years for this plat. I rarely managed more than 5 tracks in a sitting, because it was painfully boring and unfun. Unless you are the most hardcore SK fan out there, skip this one.

Popular Post Mipsy
#13: Senran Kagura: Estival Versus (PS4) Ya girl Zas, back from her one-off 'in-character' Platinum, crowns her #1,000th trophy with a big, bouncy SK replay. B-grade Japanese games keep my soul nourished. Estival's absolutely no exception. Everybody who angled to play this probably already has; view this not as a recommendation, but as a reflection. Musou games, waves of one vs. hundreds, hardly ever displease me. SK tilts this setup fairly neatly. Ground-based combos aren't as diverse or as utilitarian as in other contemporary musous of 2016, never mind the advancements made since, but aerial maneuvers handily make up for that for me. Aerial Raves make chaining against tough bosses or individual pesky foes (read: flyers) a breeze and a delight; three distinct Ninja Arts per Shinobi keep combat antics fresh even amidst the same dozen stages and one-track objectives. The gals can air dash as many times as they like, and wall-run to boot; truly, SK's a 3D musou. A robust (heh) cast of 23 standard participants, plus a couple cool extras, ensures that no weapon or playstyle - or waifu archetype, or bust size, or panty design, or so on - is left behind. For the record, I'm all for that. :3 Hell, this entry introduces the SK equivalent of Ride Armor - y'know, ride robots, Mega Man X, Vile, all that? And it's boss. Not everything's peachy, of course. This is a B-grader. The identical mission objectives and stage revisits will fatigue after a while. The shinobi irritatingly screech to a halt, rather than pivot and leap gracefully, after a dash. That *vexed* me. :V The combo counter needed to linger for at least 1.5 seconds longer; thank Shiki that no trophies this entry are tied to combo tactics. It's not an electronic masterpiece. And that's perfectly fine. It satisfied me greatly, at meeting expectation of its caliber, and it was well worth the trek. c: Moving on to looks, and I'm not just talking the lookers that comprise the cast, the game's held up okay across this era. The stage renders look sharper than most, for anime games, and the character models look frickin' ace when it comes to adorb/sexy anime style. Boobs don't entirely pinball that way, but give cosmetic surgery another century and who knows! What impressed me more was the soundtrack, hot diggity dang. o3o Estival's got some rockers! Mutsumi Ishimura infuses her tunes with power and melodic charm. Gessen themes lift from classical motifs; Hebijo anthems rock deep; stage tunes range from uplifting and sunny to synthy and boppy. Even a couple of pensive event tunes manage to triumph. Honestly, I *like* this game's soundtrack, more than a mere tad. ^w^ The tunes even run long enough to suit this entry's larger levels, and to note those: man, would I applaud a more adventurous, expanded 3D action Senran Kagura. Tracking down all 80 festival platforms took search and exploration tactics beyond what one'd expect for a modest SK. I'd totally dig a wider game in that vein, in both traversal and reward. Can't shower this game's trophy list with praise, alas. :\ Of its 50 trophies, 36 pop from standard story clears, between the main and the side tales. Its syllabus therefore allots 13 for funsies, outside the Platty, and said funsies aren't exceedingly fun. Well...it's more so that they're uneventful and sedate, so to speak. Entries like Shinovi and Burst Renewal roundly surpass Estival in trophy significance. The flipside, I suppose, is that EV meters out its trophy haul at a nicely regulated pace. That's not so shabby by itself, compared to a product like an Ys or a Tales that backloads 70+% of its shinies. I dunno, though. I seem to feel that the main plot could've awarded bronzes, in exchange for more entertaining silvers sprinkled throughout, as challenges or full-game targets. Eh, s'okay, I completed it all. Oh, and, uh, nothing much challenges here. DD Cuphead, this is not. <__< (That was groanworthy.) No regrets, mind. The story weighs somewhat lighter than most, but it made me smile several times and even gently moved me a couple others. The budget wasn't sky-high, but it was invested smartly. The series isn't a titanic headliner, but to me, it earns two thumbs up. ✌️ Estival's rad, like a cyclonic CROSS PANZER~ Here's to the festival of summer! Like, totally sink into the dreams of sleeping souls...feh shuh.~♪ Deli's Zas' PS4-on-PS5 BC Report: Don't. The PS5 fails to properly render a shader or something, which casts an awful shade across character models during stages. Estival Versus happens to unluckily be one of the uncommon 'partway-incompatible' PS4 products. IIRC, Marvelous/Tamsoft successfully patched the shader issue for the more recent Burst Renewal. Not so for Estival Versus. Although I've yet to personally verify, Burst Renewal *ought* to play crystal-clear on PS5. For EV, keep ahold of your PS4, as I had to, or flip to PC. If you've gotta play it on a PS5, hurl cash at the devs to patch over the mean ol' shadow. Lastly, to review the customary usage ranking... ...well, wow, lookit that. 0.0 Imu surpassed my all-timer Shiki! It was her ult, I tell ya. Her Thunder Fox ult whips ass. Popular Post Jelly Soup
#153 - Control (PS5) I had this as a free upgrade, but decided to not auto-pop it. I enjoyed the game enough the first time that I chose to playthrough it again. I forgot how annoying some of the more fiddly trophies are. This game has a problem with suddenly spawning a lot of difficulty mobs all at once in multiple waves......until you need it to do that. Then you're stuck running between rooms and load/reloading until the encounter bongos start playing. Replaying, already knowing the story makes certain things from the first half of the game make more sense and the foreshadowing all the more surprising. Can't recommend this game enough, the sound direction alone is worth the price of entry.
Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 250! A new milestone! Elden Ring Elden Ring Compared to the previous souls game, this one has a huge, really huge world map, with a lot of optional dungeons (caves, catacombs, graves, castle, etc.), and areas which are really wonderful, like the subterranean river, the red plain in Caelid, the Capital . I mean, look at these screenshots! Too bad that there isn't a photo mode: And finally, my favourite place! And big spoiler: now you can jump!! I didn't really appreciate a couple of things, like the huge bosses recycle. I don't know how many times I fought the same variation of dragon wyrm (with fire, electricity, rot), tree sentinel, tree avatar. And probably, after having spent more than 70 hours in the first two major areas of the game and the capital, I got bored and I went straight to the next area of the main quest, which was the snowy area, and the final ones. What about the soundtrack? I found it good, the Kitamura tracks are quite recognizable (and are great!), maybe some of the ambient tracks are anonymous (yes, this time you have music in every area of the game, and not only during boss fights). But my favourite Souls ost is the Dark Souls III, followed by Bloodborne. Probably my favourite is the Royal Capital: Thankfully, you can obtain the three endings in one run, with a back-up save, since I didn't want a pitch black screenshot. So I left the hardest boss for the platinum trophy, which was Malenia. And I definitely hated her. I can understand (and hate) the Nameless King in DS III, but, in the end, it was a fun fight. But not this one: I used the Claymore, sometimes switchin to a crystal sword or something similar, together with the brass shield, but here I had to respec my stats in order to use the two katanas (especially the River of Blood, together with the Moon Veil. Goodbye my dear shield! ), and together with the Mimic Tear I had to literally spam the river of blood ability and destroy the boss during the first phase, bait him with the mimic during the second phase, recharge the MP and spam again the ability. I was sick of her special ability and her dreadful and deadly combo. And here I took the platinum screenshot. One final note: I never got rid of Fia's "hug curse", with a -5% of your HP. You can see it below, the icon with the red square and the black arrow pointing down.

CGs I liked: Spoiler Waifu Platinum Screenshot: #224 Ratchet: Gladiator 31st Mar 2022 The 4th Ratchet and Clank game and the 5th I have plated, did run into some freezes at times but never run into that Glitch the trophy guide was warning about, maybe it's only in Deadlocked/NA version or I was that lucky I only got the freezes and whatever the hell that made it so I never kept the bolts from killing enemies in Challenge Mode.

I liked not having to focus on some of the more tedious trophies from the previous games like clearing all map areas. The story was pretty dang too. Overall it wasn't much of a grind and I did find it easier than most BL games.

Popular Post No longer here
#151 - Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (100%) Rating/Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 10/10 Hours: 70+ PSNP Rarity: 0.91% PSN Rarity: 0.1% There it is, my hardest platinum yet and man Mein Leben really sucked lol. As far as the game goes, I found it as a step up from the "The New Order" whereas the combat and graphics are improved. The story felt less serious but in a good way and felt like a "Tarantino" movie which nailed it. Performances were great, I found the writing and voice acting to be top notch in different parts of the game. Honestly these were a plus because annihilating nazis is fun enough lol. My only complaint from the game would be more levels that are not in bunkers since they all look kinda similar. It does feel tedious at some points in the game and sometimes I would hope for a different level design, but when it does change up the scenery, it is pretty sick! I thought the DLCs were fine but nothing too crazy, kinda more of the same tbh. The game really did deliver a lot for me, the gameplay, story and characters were all likeble. As I said before, I wish the level design was a little less repetitive but other than that , pretty damn good game! I recommend!
Popular Post slender_adrian
#86 Difficulty:3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Grind: 1/10 Rarity: Ultra Rare 4.7% / Uncommon 28.77% "I am in a good mood" I finally came back to get this platinum trophy, God Of War is a great game, the narrative is incredible but this game gets repetitive so fast, the combat mechanic gets boring after a while, fighting the same 2 types of enemies throughout the whole game isn't fun, despite the things I dislike I still think this is a good game, the story was pretty good, the characters were amazing, the soundtrack well... this is a GOW it's going to be badass, and sure this game looks beautiful. Getting the platinum was a walk in the park, I played the whole thing on normal difficulty and the only challenging part about it was the beating the Queen Valkyrie, this girl put one hell of a fight, the rest was a breeze. And just like Mimir said, we did it
