Popular Post xFalionx
#002: Rogue Legacy Ergophobia Earn every other trophy Ahh, Rogue Legacy... I love that game, well more like used to love, after I spent 2 weeks trying to get that last damn trophy that requires a playthrough with 15 deaths or less. And the first week was still fun. But now, I think I will never touch that game again. Maybe that 3.08% UR plat wasn't the best choice for my second plat, but it earned me 10€ because one of my friends bet that I wasn't able to finish this in April. All in all, great game and ~70 hours well spent. But really, that was much harder than I thought it would be... Popular Post Bizz-dono
#52 Lone Survivor True Survivor Collect all Lone Survivor: Director's Cut trophies This was a fantastic game that had a lot of surprises, sometimes terrifying & what do I do next feeling to it! I can't lie I was surprised when some of those things popped out! Game was confusing without a guide but I managed to beat it without it & got the blue ending first was a good ending but did confuse me a little. With the guide I breeze through for the green ending which semi answers the questions, the white ending which had me jump a lil (the screams) had me guessing if it was really him that was really sick?! The yellow ending had me thinking that none of it was real at all The red ending just felt like all it was all in his head & he was trapped! So tell me, I'm I insane lol! I still kinda feel like they didn't answer all the questions so I feel it should be a sequel to this games i'll be looking forward to that! Enjoyed the game, all the play, music, side quest & the trophies wasn't to demanding so I would recommend this to all! Thank You! Overall 10/10 Plat without guide 8/10 with guide 4/10 p.s this now my fastest plat at 18hrs 18mins Edited April 16, 2015 by Bizz-dono

Popular Post JoshC17
Platinum #46 - inFamous inFamous Platinum Trophy Rare Difficulty - 3.5/10 Enjoyment - 7.5/10 Really enjoyed playing inFamous! A lot of fun but is showing its flaws now compared to games being produced now. The trophies were pretty easy but had some trouble with the stunts when I realised it was easier to do them while playing through the main story. The shards were easy if you get all of them one island at a time and the last trophy was just getting enough xp to buy all evil powers. I wish that they could of put two completely different stories in the game for good and evil which would of made the game even better. Nevertheless its still a lot of fun to play and recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it yet. Edited April 17, 2015 by JoshC17
zadorvp
Why not Quantum Theory? Pretty grindy plat, but it starts with the letter Q I'm in no rush to get a Q platinum right now, but I'd probably pick Quantum of Solace instead of Theory to be honest. More interested in that one. Popular Post madbuk
#99 - Wonderbook: Book of Spells First Edition Let me just get this straight out of the way. No. I did not buy this game just for an easy platinum. With that out the way... I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I've read all 7 books at least 5 times at this point, and have seen all the movies at least twice. I've wanted to play this ever since it released, and having recently acquired a PS Move (mainly for LBP2...) I decided to have this be my first game. I was.... disappointed. It was rather childish, and most of the information given was things that were already explained via the books. It was a nice trip down memory lane to learn about spells that, as far as I remember, were only available in the PS2 game. Splurge(?) and Diffindo come to mind, and having played through the first 3 games many many times, that was a nice treat. This said, I got it cheap (£4.40) so it wasn't too big of a loss. Seeing as how this is a Hannah Montana-tier plat, I can only imagine people who don't see this post will brand me a trophy whore from now on, but so be it. Am I likely to buy Book of Potions? Probably not... But I'm a sucker for new Harry Potter content

Popular Post Senbon Kaguya
#102 - Resident Evil Revelations Eye on the Trophy Obtain all trophies. Ok so, I had a lot of damn fun with this RE installment, especially when I played Raid Mode. The music was ok in this (I kinda wish I could play RE6's Mercs theme for Raid Mode ). Infernal mode was pretty challenging but I hauled ass through most enemies and killed the ones that got in my way. I definitely will pick up Revelations 2 soon but most likely on PS4!

Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#42 – Dark Souls The Dark Soul “All trophies obtained. Congratulations!” What a game! In my eyes, one of the true gems of the past generation; can’t believe it took me so long to play. I’d played Demon’s Souls before (very similar, despite not officially being in the same Universe) and liked it, but Dark Souls took it to a whole new level. There was a lot of stuff I loved about this game: Difficulty: I know this is the one main complaint people have about Souls games; often describing them as exercises in frustrating. The memes about throwing controllers at the wall certainly weren’t made for no reason; Dark Souls can be brutally hard at times (particularly until you learn about the game’s intricate systems). But the reason I love the difficulty so much is because of how SATISFIYING it is when you finally find a shortcut or beat that boss (Smough and Super Orstein, I’m looking at you); such a good feeling. It truly makes you feel like an absolute master of the game by the time you make it to the end. It’s also FAIR, which is extremely important Weapons: The shear variety of weapon types, attack types, and ways to destroy your opponents is extremely impressive. From standard daggers, to rapiers, clubs, greatswords and ‘special’ weapons with various status effects or elemental damage, you could never get bored with the weapon choices that Dark Souls offers. Personally I went for a DEX build, and enjoyed it immensely because of the variety in fun weapons I could try (and they were all good!). I dabbled in Magic and Miracles a bit, but Pyromancy was where it was at for me; especially with an upgraded glove, it destroys everything haha. My favourite weapons included the Lifehunter Scythe +5, Gold Tracer +5 and Uchigatana +15 Armour and Rings. Similarly to the weapons, there is a huge variety of armour and stat-boosting rings available to suit all playstyles. Some look cooler than others for sure, but mixing and matching based on stats, looks and useability on the fly is a joy. My favourite was Artorias’ Armour Upgrades: One of my favourite bits about the game is the upgrade system. The ‘leveling’ that gives you more vitality, endurance or adds to your various stats is great, but I’m talking mainly about the weapons and armour here. Turning your ‘weak’ katana into a super-strong lightning blade is an absolute joy. The (sometimes necessary) grinding that requires you to have a lot of upgrade materials to upgrade weapons was actually surprisingly enjoyable too; not common for me personally. Having a huge selection of different weapons maxed out was awesome fun. The world: Oh boy, the world. Seeing just how interconnected it is was one of the best moments I’ve ever had in gaming. From deep down in the dark depths looking up, to surveying the terrain from above or off to the side, From Software has outdone themselves here. The locations are all varied and interesting, with very different hazards and enemies to keep you on your toes. My favourites included Ash Lake (you’ll know what I mean when you see it) and Anor Londo (that reveal was incredible). A joy to traverse; so much so that I didn’t mind not being able to warp until a fair way through the game. Atmosphere is also extremely memorable and haunting; so good. The fact that nearly everything good is off the beaten path as well encourages you to explore, and you feel rewarded for doing so Story and characters: Don’t go into Dark Souls expecting a deep, absorbing story. Make no mistake, this is a gameplay kind of game. What they have included – however minimal – is fantastic though. From the little bits of lore on item descriptions, to the creepy ramblings of madmen (and their guaranteed weird and wacky laugh), the world manages to feel believeable despite being quite empty. The world design contributes well to this. There are also a few interesting characters that you will see around the game at a few points; be sure to talk to all of them, because a majority either have something interesting to say or give you; they may even help you on your quest! Enemies and bosses: From has some truly weird and wacky enemies here; from ‘scary’ mushroom men, to demons of various forms, giants, skeletons and humans, there is a heap of variety in each location. However, it’s the bosses in Dark Souls that really take the cake. Some of the designs are truly terrifying, and often they are steep challenges to overcome to earn your reward. My favourites included Orstein and Smough (for design, and how challenging it was), The Four Kings (for inventiveness and the feeling of dread that I never fail to feel when battling them), and Sif (much sadness). The combat: The enemies in Dark Souls would be pointless if there wasn’t a fun and deep combat system that you could kill them with. I’m happy to say that I am addicted to the system From has designed here. Strong attacks, heavy attacks, one and two-handing on the fly, blocking, diving, rolling, charging, kicking, parrying, backstabbing and jump-attacks all vary depending on the weapon you are using, and are viable in different situations. Even after 100 hours total with Dark Souls, I never got bored with the combat system. A good shield is a must though Dodge-rolling a tough enemy just under his swing at the last second, and following up with a killing blow is always satisfying. The DLC: I had a lot of fun with Artorias of the Abyss. While the areas themselves weren’t my favourites, the bosses and characters were. Artorias and Manus were incredible spectacles, and I often found myself distracted by just how cool the bosses looked and moved. The new gear was also very welcome, and the light that the DLC shed on the rest of the story (namely Artorias and a certain doggy) really added to the experience for me. Other stuff: The visuals – while not the best I’ve ever seen – are definitely serviceable, and even quite beautiful at times. The music is largely minimal, but when it’s there, it’s moody and great. Sound effects are amazing; hearing creepy growls, or screams of enemies in the background are truly haunting. Co-op and covenants: I didn’t have much experience with this – I love playing solo as much as possible – but the experiences I did have were fun and memorable. Helping someone with a tough boss feels great, and getting invaded by a PVP-powerhouse is suitably annoying. Covenants are also an interesting addition; I didn’t have too much to do with these, but still a cool idea. Praise the Sun! Trophy-wise, some of them are pretty grindy (some weapon ones, and the ‘all weapons’ trophy which requires 2.5 playthroughs due to needing boss souls), and others quite difficult without a guide (where there are certain conditions that have to be met – like meeting a certain someone in the Abyss – that I would easily go through without knowing). Overall though, it’s definitely all achievable; provided you’re decent at the game. I don’t really have any gripes with the game; other than a few rare framerate issues (Blighttown, cough, cough), a pretty quick (but still cool) ending and a few other camera issues, the game is a masterpiece in my opinion. 100 hours total for me (80 hours for a very enjoyable, deep, first playthrough, 15 hours for NG+, and a few more to get up to the point for the last weapons in NG++). Anyone who loves a deep RPG should give this a go; it’s honestly not really that hard once you get used to the systems and upgrade a few key weapons. Enjoyment: 10/10 Plat Difficulty: 6/10 (more grindy than hard in my opinion; but an extremely fun grind at that!) Popular Post SkyesUnholy
The Sims 3 Master of Simology Unlock all other Trophies. One of those games that you can always pick up off the shelf whenever and enjoy immediately. I loved Sims 2 back in my PS2 days and buying this was a no-brainer when I felt the need to indulge myself into the world of Sims once again Always a lot of fun watching your evil sims knocking over the neighbour's trash cans (so evil!). Whenever The Sims 4 hits PS4, definitely going to pick it up as I've already played it on PC ^-^ Also surprised to see this was an ultra rare plat, it's not hard at all >.< If you're looking for an enjoyable, but long game to plat, then get your booty into gear and pick this up
Popular Post Archavia
204 - BloodborneGood game, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the Souls games. I personally feel it has become a little too casual, given it's supposed to be punishing and unforgiving. The game was a bit too short, and the Chalice Dungeons are the worst concept in the Souls games to date. The lack of variety, length and the addition of the Chalice Dungeons stop this from being a great game for me though.Even though the game overall was easier than all the Souls games, the Chalice Dungeon was the hardest of them all so far, mostly thanks to the Defiled Pthumeru dungeon. 205 / 11,000 - 3D Dot Game Heroes (JP)Despite not being able to read anything this time around, it still very enjoyable, and not too difficult to manage. Monaca Circuit took me 15 minutes this time, as opposed to 10+ hours on the EU version, so I definitely mastered it. Made it my 11,000th trophy instead of Bloodborne because on my PSNP page my 5k, 7k and 9k milestones are all in Japanese, so decided to continue that tradition.

Popular Post whoadreader
#84 - Batman: Arkham City While the story of the game is good I feel a bit disappointed with this game as a whole. I heard it was a lot better than Asylum and so I built my expectations up before playing it and was let down a little. I felt the large city lost the atmosphere that the previous game had and it became annoying travelling around such a large area towards the end. I also think they went overboard with the collectibles as 440 really seems too much. Even though the challenges seemed easier this time around i'm not looking forward to repeating them with the Dlc characters.
