Popular Post Hemiak
Been a couple weeks since I've posted here but I'm really happy about this one. Platinum 112 - Trophy 6,000 - 5th rarest trophy One Last Ride Obtain all other trophies. 43rd achiever, .57% rarity Like many of you I got this game from PS+. Unlike most of you, I was actually happy to receive this game as I had already considered buying it. I started it a while back and made a little progress before getting distracted by other things. When looking for something to play a couple weeks ago my wife reminded me of this, and here we are. Chariot is a 2D puzzle? platformer at heart. It follows the princess and her fiance, who need to take the Chariot down into the catacombs. Why? Because the Chariot is actually the dead King's coffin with some wheels slapped on the side. Our heroes can throw out a rope within a certain distance to drag, pull, and carry the chariot along with them. As you make your way through the levels you find multiple different tools that can assist you in your task. They range from a peg that allows you to leave the chariot dangling for a couple seconds while you do something else, an "Attractor" which is basically a magnet that will yank the chariot towards you, and a Fake canary that will lure in the few enemies in the level and blow them (and breakable walls) to smithereens. The game has 25 levels broken into 5 worlds. The first world is pretty tame, and they get harder as you continue. The 2nd world is mostly a dark level, and can't be accessed until you find a lantern. The 3rd world is full of ice and snow, and you have to have the snow tires to navigate here. The 4th world has lava pools to deal with, which requires dragon armor plating for the chariot. You need to find an item which allows the chariot to power doors and platforms to reach the 5th, which has quicksand as its' main problem. Each level has 3 silver skulls scattered around. You need to find all 72 available before you open level 5-5, which is a "secret" level. Each level also has one gadget blueprint, and 2 levels in each world have a chariot blueprint. Finding all 75 skulls and all 35 blueprints is required for the platinum. You also have to 100% the map of each level, which should come naturally finding all the goodies. The main blocker for platinum is the fact that you have to complete a speedrun on every level in the game with a gold medal. Many of these aren't too bad, and even if you mess up it only sets you back 3 or 4 minutes. A few levels are in the 8-12 minute range though. The secret level gives you a whopping 30 minutes, which, while not being super stringent, is still a pain in the ass if you don't know what you're doing. On every single level, using the attractor is either recommended or required. I actually really enjoyed the challenge this game provided. It's well done, and the controls and physics are tight. My kids also enjoy playing through together and solving the levels, which isn't exactly easy in the first place. The King's ghost likes to make comments if you get going too fast, smash him into walls, or fall to your death and have to restart. There's also a fun little cut-scene when you reach the end of each world. All in all I would recommend this game for anyone who likes 2D platrormers and/or a challenge. Using a 2nd player can make a lot of the game easier, but unfortunately it's couch coop only. Popular Post Shurax_Urden
#55 - Dragon Age Inquisition Dragon Age Inquisition: Platinum Trophy Difficulty: 7 Enjoyment: 8 Finally! I have been working on this for the last couple of week and about 80 hours. I will be brief although I could be writing about this for ages. I enjoyed so much the main story and all the choices and consequences made during it but (and it is a big but), almost all the secondary content (not including the secondary mission given by the members of your party) are boring as hell. And I mean reaaaaaally boring. Maybe it's because I compare it with the Witcher 3 "secondary" content and... we can all admit, there is no comparation possible I only made one playthrough (and beat all the DLC and extra content) in Nightmare mode. The first few hours were like 'meh', nothing really challenging but after that... Oh hell! Really difficult, and I meant it. Spoiler The demon in the vail was particularly the most difficult boss in the game. After that everything were smoother. If someone is going to play this I have only one advice. The gear you find and receive looting the enemies is almost rubbish, craft your own and you will notice the difference. The level is not as important as the gear you carry. Regarding trophies, the most annoying part was collecting all the shards, damn, some of them were really in some weird places. I heard a lot of times than the trophies for killing 2500 enemies and 1000 demons did not pop in the first playthrough. In my case the enemies one was earned before the end of the DLC's playthrough and de demons one was the last trophy I got. I had to "grind" ONE last rift to get it During the main playthrough for the story I used Blackwall, Iron Bull and Solas sometimes I changed Blackwall for Cassandra and Solas for Vivienne.

Popular Post Dark Layla
#89 - Resident evil7Finally the nightmare is over (or not because i still have to complete the dlc's) I'm being the most sincere possible, at the beginning when the demo came out i was the most critical person in relation to the game, I thought it was another outlast game but then I fooled myself! In this game the "horror" is back, some enemies reminds me oozes from RE Revelations, The fighting against the baker family is not "the best thing in the world" but it's something intense and scary in the first time ( Something that i had already missed since RE3 )The most difficult trophy is Who's Your Daddy Now? Obviously that certain weapons and items after unlocked will make this mode easier, but even then it remains easy to die at certain encounters. Now it's time to focus energies on dlc modes Welcome to the family sonnn
Popular Post Lars
#91: The Bunker This was a very easy platinum, but still it felt like a personal victory for me. I have two big weaknesses in things that i'm easily scared off or feel very uncomfortable with. Those are horror things in general, and medical things (can't stand it). With horror it has gotten a lot better, i played some dead space recently and didn't feel scared at all because i had some powerfull weapons and therefore it felt like i wasn't in danger. this game tries to give you the feeling that something is going to happen, it never does but i felt all the time that something was going to happen. The only time the game is a bit scary is at the end when John discovers the bodies in the cooling cell and he sees visions of the bodies coming alive, also, if i remember right, that the body of his mother is in the bed with a blanket on her head, at some point you come back there i believe and the body is gone. But i'm not sure if that was the same room. For the medical stuff, people who played the game will know this, at some point John falls down and breaks his arm, you have to repair his arm with a scissor and some bandages, it is not that graphic but it just made me feel a bit sick because it looks real. But i think it was a good story, although there could have been a lot more gameplay, that is something that the developer should improve. Because now there only one path you can take, it almost impossible to miss something or to be stuck on a puzzle, because there is only one option on the screen most of the time. Popular Post cronocyde
#107: SEVERED Completed in 1 week, 1 day, 3 hours Platinum rarity: 43.84% Platinum difficulty: 2/10 Personal rating: 7.5/10 Great game with a great concept. I really enjoyed the unique gameplay and graphic style. Personally, I would have preferred a Guacamelee 2, but I trust in everything Drinkbox Studios put out, so I really enjoyed the game. The game was also really short, which I liked. I think it would have dragged on a little bit if it was longer. Please buy this game so that we can let Sony and Drinkbox knows that we want exclusive vita games! :-)
TympanicScroll
#24 God of War (Vita) Trophy of Zeus Unlock all God of War® Trophies Difficulty: 4 Enjoyment: 6 First time I played God of War. At my PSP I played Ghost of Sparta. Overal a pretty good game. I didn't like the tank controls, a lot of time I was running in the wrong direction or falling down in the Hades part. Regarding controls, the rear touchpad is REALLY annoying; I continuously hit it by accident, eg. save points, push a pillar, etc. At the Challenge of the Gods, the last challenge is just not fair.. took me 1.5 hours to finish that challenge. Although I think I will pick up God of War II :-)
Popular Post snakebit10
#206 Modern Warfare Remastered Just Another Day at the Office I have wanted to play this since I had played the other 2 in the series. I never got to play it last gen. They did an amazing job on the remaster and I think this is how all remasters should be done. If anybody seen my almost daily status updates since I was trying for Best of the Best and Mile High Club knows how much trouble I had. Any other game I would of took a break from but for some reason I couldn't put this down. Yes they were both challenging but I had a blast trying to get them. When I finally did beat Mile High Club it froze on me when it was going make to the title screen and my trophy didn't pop and I had to do Mile High Club again and It still took a while to beat it again. When I finally didn't this time dare I say it almost seemed like a piece of cake. As for the whole game I really enjoyed it and the campaign was just enough challenging. Standard Call of Duty on Vet. Some troublesome spots but nothing to bad. It is those 2 trophies that hikes the difficulty up. I will include my video for Mile High Club here. I wouldn't use this as a guide though because my squad helped a great deal in this run and I messed up on one part but managed to still beat it.
Popular Post Greenshyguy
#71 - Perfect Storm Master Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Overall, a pretty straightforward & enjoyable trophy. Getting a S rank on some missions were a pain (I couldn't work out why I'd get A rank one go, then S rank the next with near identical performance). The fighting animation & cut scenes are also top notch. If I had one complaint, it'll have to be the free roam missions which felt more like a chore. #72 - Trophy Complete You have obtained all trophies Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness Your typical visual novel. Anyone thinking of attempting this platinum be warned ... the story related trophies are fairly straightforward but you need "points" to purchase all the "picture" & "scene" contents. The only way to get points is by playing the mini game which is a massive grind. Currently working towards the platinum for "Nioh" & "Final Fantasy XV". Not entirely sure what I'll aim to get for the 75th platinum milestone yet - perhaps Horizon Zero Dawn
Popular Post JaM
#162 and 8000th Trophy Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance Dream Drop Distance Master Obtain all trophies. 3rd KH game in a milestone mmm... Dream Drop Distance. This game is one of the main reason why I bought a 3DS (the other reason is Theatrhythm) and it's OP is still has one of my favorite Opening (*warning* lots of KH series Spoiler) sure the PS4 HD version looks very good but I find the 3DS ones more epic like in part where Mickey becomes 2 in 358/2 part and ofc, Mickey jumping to the top screen to fight Xehanort(sure it also happens in PS4 ones but I really find it very clever when I've seen it in 3Ds version) I love this game - to date, it is my 3rd fave KH game (CoM first, BBS second). Sure, I am not a huge fan of it's plot but I really love it's battle system, mini-games and Dream Eaters :3 Trophy-wise, I find this quite easier than the other KH games thanks to Flowmotion, Balloon magics and Explosion High Tier Fire Magics. The optional boss is not that hard IMO (well, it is quite hard but compared to other KH games, definitely easier) thanks to Balloonga and Balloonra. The only thing that somehow annoys me are the RNG based ones *stare at Special Portals*. Would definitely recommend to KH fans. And if you are not interested, would recommend to at least check out and play The World Ends With You and watch The Hunchback of Notre Dame Edited February 20, 2017 by JaM
Popular Post Juzota
#63 - Riptide GP2 All TrophiesAll Trophies Unlocked Well, this wasn't the most exciting racing game ever, but this was still quite enjoyable game to play. Platinum is pretty straightforward and easy, but some point it get bit repetitive because the tracks doesn't offer that much variety. It's just pretty much doing the same thing from start to finish. Rubberband AI really annoyed me sometimes, but it wasn't the worst I've ever seen. Definitely worth 7 euros or whatever I paid for this. Popular Post Sunflower
#67 - Saints Row IV My first Saints Row game and definitely not my last! I had an absolute blast with this one. The game is one big giant WTF but it's just so fun and it's been so long since a game had me laughing as much as SRIV did. The story was entertaining and the challenges were actually pretty fun along with the loyalty missions, the only boring part was completing the rest of the homie missions which were pretty repetitive. Even collecting the data clusters wasn't even that bad thankfully! Definitely going to pick up Saints Row The Third and eventually get around to playing Gat out of Hell as well, so hopefully I'll enjoy them as much as this one!

Popular Post GoodbyeBread
#65 - Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus One of the biggest games that I have missed during the PS2 era. I'm very glad I was able to get a hold of a sly collection. Well, I have started today and played all the way through and ended up plating it. I might do the time trials later just to see the behind the scenes. High points are the characters, the upgrades and racing. Sly's dialogue was quite enjoyable and his banter with Carmelita Fox was quite charming. Bentley and Murray are quite colorful and have a good few lines as well. Upgrades were very useful and ultimately helped out immensely during the future levels. Low points was only Clockwerk's level. I died the most during the section where you have to retrieve the jet pack and the final boss level. Every death restarted the level from the beginning, but I rather have that then DS2's "die once and start from square one" mode. Sly cooper was phenomenal and I'm excited to play the other games

Popular Post Omelette Paradise
. . . Platinum #132 Adam's Venture: Origins I'm so glad I waited for sale on this one. The £44.99 this usually costs on PlayStation Store is an obscene amount of money for such a short game. About the game itself..... I really didn't like it. It came across to me as a poor man's Uncharted with clunky platforming and a lot of puzzles (oh boy, there's lots of puzzles). The developers have also attempted to shoe-horn some very poor stealth sections into the second half of the game. These are pretty bad and for some inexplicable reason, the main character Adam is unable to neutralise the enemies The Platinum trophy was a very easy one, but my god those puzzles got on my nerves

I wish this game was more like the godfather series. this doesn´t mean I didn´t like the game. The story was good and the game had a overall great charm around it. I definently recommend playing this game, but nothing more. Hunting the last trophies wasn´t so enjoyable for me, as everything felt like a grind.
