I obtained more plats than I thought I would. The highest I ever got in one year was 24 platinums back in 2016. I could've obtained more plats this year had I not been occupied with my school assignments and extra curricular activities, which prevented me from playing for 3 months and 2 days consecutively. Overall, I had fun last year and I hope to do the same this year. I had 35 Platinum Trophies at the beginning of 2017 and now one year later I have 65 really happy that I made it with even 5 more Platinum Trophies into 2018. A decent year and a bit of a turning point as I planned to play more RPGs being my favorite genre of games. Part of the best gaming experience was getting the Vita and be able to enjoy more portable RPG games. Gonna continue the trend for this year with more RPGs and more stories to look forward to.

All in all, not the most difficult plats, but a decent year nonetheless. Big winner from this year is Axiom Verge; what a fantastic game! Dragon Quest Heroes gets an honorable mention here. A trio of other new titles I played from 2017 (i.e. not titles that I had played previously) that were interesting included Severed, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and Minecraft: Story Mode.

 

Cast of the Seven Godsends wins the "Most fun for the dollar" award, as I picked it up for 69 cents. Stardust Vanguards was also pretty fun for its 99 cent pricetag. 

 

I played a few big losers this year, but the most disappointing title that I platted was Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. Pretty mediocre offering from what was once one of my favorite series. The HOP games from Artifex Mundi were generally disappointing, since I also needed to play the title again for the silly mahjong game. The worst game I platted, hands down, is Toro. My Name is Mayo also got an F, though its short plat time puts it in a completely different class from Toro.
