Another one down! I've realized I've gotten really close to the deadline, and I really want a full set, so I'm kinda just doing easy games for a bit. Though it helps I wanted to play Late Shift anyway. It was MUCH better than The Bunker. I'm very impressed; the acting was pretty good, even the third or fourth time through.

Final update. Overall, I'm ok with what I ended up using.  Hardest was probably between Energy Invasion (I don't remember what the mode was called, Linear I think, but it was just messy) or Embers of Mirrim, and the best game was A Way Out.  Anyhow, fun event, on to the next one!

LOL. I did finish this week, but my holiday wasn't spent playing games. I've been super busy with general Chirstmas stuff. Making crafts, shopping, wrapping presents, cooking, parties, etc. etc. I woke up early one morning and banged out an EZPZ game within a couple of hours to wrap up that last number. I've barely had time to play anything. I'm curious to see how I do in your next event. Although I picked out games for it, I've been more about living in the moment and playing what sounds fun lately. Almost done! I thought I would like Virginia more than I actually did. It was fun and intriguing for a while, but then at the end things got a little too trippy to follow. Maybe I'll look up an "explained" video or something. I'm clearly not deep enough for their vision.

 

Steins;Gate is downloading now, but I don't think I'll be able to play tonight with how slow PS3 downloads go. Should be easy street to completion after that though, so I'm excited! I'm not the type to just skip through visual novels though, so I am going to actually read it. I've heard good things, so I'm excited.

Yeah... that's one of those games that you think is going to be short because it doesn't have a plat, but is actually pretty long. It also possibly suffers from people not wanting to admit how long they actually spent on it because it's just an ok-ish game.... so many people claim it's a 15-25 hour game so my expectations were way off.

But, I did try to warn you

Ya, I know, I was ready for it, but there were some though spots (differently wise and I was kind of lost on the last dungeon) that made me think that I was screwed up.. But managed to finish without grinding at all. 

 

And your prediction was kind of spot on. My in-game clock was at around 35 hours, with all the reload for the endings, it easy made the total time a bit above 40 hours. 

 

As you said, it's just an ok game, but it has quite a lot of content in it (that gladly isn't required for the trophies).
