Eramir
Nice, we needed more mods. Although I hope there isn't a increase in censorship. I like to read a discussion and read both sides arguments. I would also like to suggest that @TheYuriG becomes a dispute mod (if he wants it himself), for I see alot of useful comments of him in the disputes. It could help clear more disputes, lift the weight of the few shoulders the disputes mods have now. Just my 2 cents.
Han_the_Dragon
Congrats to both of you! I did found it odd when I saw @DaivRules named in green a bit ago.. As for @Beyondthegrave07, I probably didn't run into any thread that he was in since the promotion. Still, it's good that we have 2 new mods (I don't remember your time zones, but I hope that this will allow better management of the bs that shows up late night, since at those times, either there's no mods around or the response is to slow and things get out of hand before threads get locked or deleted).

I help in some other way behind the curtains, but I don't think I'm actually fit to have that role. I'm actually garbage at flagging people and I give b1rvine a lot more work than he should need to have. Thanks for the suggestion either way, appreciate the thought. I think there should be another dispute mod stepping in soon though, so the current mods should get some extra assistance regardless. Just because someone is lurking in the disputes forum doesn't make them fit for a mod role. Most of the comments there are usually pure toxicity. Plus MMDE and B1rvine are doing good (be better if they check my reports ?).not sure if Grimy is still around there. Popular Post BlindMango
To address people worried about more censorship, or someone helping a certain group of people out while not helping others, etc... Here's how the role of forum mod works on this site: There are 6 people here that have forum mod abilities, those people are Beyondthegrave07, DaivRules, Parker, Stevieboy, Sly Ripper, and me. When someone with forum mod abilities give someone a warning point, all 6 people are notified in their header toolbar about it and any of the 6 people and a warning point or any of the 6 people deal with something a user has flagged, there is no possible way one person can become mad with power or help their team of friends out, or whatever. This is largely an overreaction, and this forum is not run like a popularity contest (Which we all know always runs forums straight into the ground). The role of a forum mod here is very straight-forward and some would find it boring probably, and I think some of you are overthinking this to be honest. So what I'm getting at is there is nothing to worry about. There are a lot of qualities we look at when adding staff here and we think very carefully about it. No matter who we add as a forum mod, there will absolutely be people opposed to any choice we make, and that's okay. How we do things is proven in what we do, so give us a chance to do that for you. Also as long as I'm here I will never allow your thoughts or ideas to be censored for simply speaking your minds on something, you should be able to speak your mind on something. However do note that if a conversation devolves into name-calling or drama, it is typically taken down because at that point the thread gets derailed. So if a post of yours ever gets taken down, ask yourself, "did I just call that guy a worthless pile of filth"? That's 95% of the reason posts are taken down here. Hopefully that clears things up for people worried for whatever reason, the checks and balances among staff here are well built, and there's always someone to reach in staff here! I'm quite active there helping by request of the mods themselves, not sure why that's considered "lurking" since I'm doing quite the opposite of that. Feel free to point out which comments are toxic, maybe even report them to get removed. Maybe you would want to be more active there yourself instead and be helpful with the disputes? I don't really post in any disputes which already have the information I feel it's necessary was provided. They all see your reports, I'm pretty sure. If the people you report don't get removed, it's because it's a false flag and they denied it. If you have any other pending issues, please do DM me, as nothing you said is relevant to the topic of this thread.

TheLakota
My bros and broettes: instead of publicly calling people out and further derailing the thread by actively seeking confrontation, why don't you PM a moderator your concerns. If you've already done so, fantastic; speaking about it any further in public just constitutes trolling at this point. Just be like me and troll people in your status updates: that's what it's for!

GarciaFever
Congrats to the both of you. @DaivRules I honestly didn't think that you would one day become a moderator for this site, since you were mostly in charge of running the PSNP Song Vote thread (or whatever the actual name is. It's been a long time so I forget lol ). @BlindMango i've always wanted to know how the process went in regards to choosing who gets to become a moderator, or someone of a similar position on this site? I know that it involves coding and knowing a lot of HTML stuff, but is that all it takes? This is just me being curious.

You actually don't really need to know HTML to be a mod, though it would be helpful if you're on the guide team There's a lot of particular things we look for with each role, but a big thing is showing an interest in what you do (To be on the guide team, do you like writing guides, have you written a number of them, and do you understand the intricacies of what makes a guide good?) Things like that and more

Things like that and more The stuff about the Guide Team is understandable since anyone that has an understanding of the English language and can clearly give step-by-step details on how to obtain trophies/complete a certain objective becomes easier over time, but what about other positions unrelated to the Guide Team?
Chocolat_GiddyUp
I am very new to the site, but hopefully I can become a mod one day. I really like the community (the good and the bad parts) and the design of the website. If I can never be a mod, maybe I can contribute in my own way. Grats again to the new mods
