Popular Post Spacey_Dweeb
I didn't plan on it for the event, but I just got in the mood for a TellTale Game and played through both of their Batman games this week. The first one fills up a number I needed. The second one does not. So I bumped Resident Evil 7 off of my list for Batman. I will hopefully finish RE7 in some sort of Halloween event in the Fall. It's at 93% towards the platinum! Right now I'm working on Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Control because they leave PSnow in August. Because of that, I have a time limit on them. I've been more focused on Tomb Raider which won't help with a number in this event, but Control will! 0 - The Last of Us: Part 2 1 - Resident Evil 2 2 - Fallout 4 3 - Persona 5 Royal 4 - Control (44%) 5 - Journey ? 6 - Batman 7 - SingStar 8 - Uncharted: Lost Legacy (15%) 9 - Slime Rancher Edited July 27, 2020 by spacey_dweeb
Popular Post Stanners316
0 - Borderlands 1 - The Walking Dead: Season 2 2 - LEGO Marvel's Avengers 3 - Valiant Hearts: The Great War 4 - Seasons After Fall 5 - 6 - 7 - Stick it to the Man 8 - Fruit Ninja 9 - Got a couple more done. The polar opposite of games. Just the 9 years 10 months to platinum Borderlands on the PS3 ? I had very fond memories of this but I just wanted the grind to level 50 to be over. I'll probably revisit the DLC in a couple of months to have a 10 year+ completion, madness! Only 5 years for Fruit Ninja on the Vita. I just had a few trophies to clear up. My mate and I encourage each other to clean up backlogs so when he reminded me of Fruit Ninja, it was nice for it to be a number I needed. 3 more to go; 2 plats and 1 100. I have a plan. Take care guys ? Edited July 27, 2020 by Stanners316 typo

Popular Post ladynadiad
0 - Ultra Hat Dimension (NA PS4) 1 - Raging Loop 2 - Epic Word Search Collection (NA Vita) 3 - Just a Phrase by POWGI (NA Vita) 4 - Demetrios (Vita) 5 - Fil-A-Pix: Phil's Epic Adventure (NA PS4) 6 - A Winter's Daydream (NA PS4) 7 - Word Maze by POWGI (NA Vita) 8 - Devious Dungeon 2 (NA Vita) 9 - Final Fantasy X-2 (83%) Have another one down and just one remaining after this. Ultra Hat Dimension was pretty cute, fun and short. If anyone else is in a similar boat as I was an all your 0 selections are all very long or annoying plats, this isn't a bad one to do, but it is relatively new so it's unlikely to go on sale anytime soon. Normal price is $5 though, so that wasn't too bad. Pretty much I looked through newer games to see what would fit for 0 that looked fun and reasonable and wasn't going to cost me a lot and this fit the bill nicely. It's a cute little puzzle game where you have creatures wearing hats and if you move near them they punch and push you away. So you have to try and find ways to ensure you can move past them by getting a matching hat and using that to sneak past or asking them nicely to move so they duke it out with another one. It's easy at first but actually got kind of tricky towards the end. There's a video guide on YouTube already if anyone grabs this one and runs into trouble. In other news I finally after 6 years finished up the main part of Final Fantasy X-2 and only have Last Mission left to wrap up. So far RNG hates me, but I know once RNG decides to be nice to me that the game will be a breeze and that plat will finally be mine. Only one game left at least!
Popular Post AmarisSkye
UPDATE #4: I finished 11-11 Memories Retold which was a beautiful game in regards to style and story if a bit clunky in controls. I paid for three months of PSNow so I am having fun playing some short games that are on there (even though my backlog is extensive). Only three more games left and I will have finished the event. ? 0: 11-11: Memories Retold [7.27.2020] 1: Borderlands 3, Need for Speed Payback 2: Donut County [7.1.2020] 3: Hidden Agenda [7.14.2020] 4: Psychonauts (PS4), Seasons After Fall 5: Murasaki Baby [7.5.2020] 6: A Plague Tale: Innocence [7.1.2020] 7: Another World [7.1.2020] 8: Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut (PS4), Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (Vita) 9: Twin Robots (Vita) [7.5.2020] @eigen-space - I am curious as to why my three games from July 1st didn't get counted when all three where completed after the start time of the event? Since then I have also beat Erica which is in my number 2 slot on the spreadsheet but I have nothing listed in my number 6 & 7 slots on there. I was expecting to have issues with bugs but aside from one instance where a Brotherhood of Steel quest wasn't triggering, everything ran smoothly and I didn't have one crash until the Nuka-World DLC
Popular Post Grotz99
Finally wrapped up TLOU2 with my NG+ playthrough on survivor to collect the rest of the items. I thought it was a great game, despite everyone's gripes with the story. Also, finished up a POWGI game to get my platinum count to 74 before finishing TLOU2 and it ended up filling my #5 slot. Still going to play through Phoenix Wright since it is an entertaining visual novel type game. Should be finishing up the Uncharted Crushing trophy shortly, making it my longest platinum. 0. Steins;Gate wasn't as terrible as I thought it was gonna be, it's a decent story but still not really my taste. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is a really cool concept on paper but wasn't executed wonderfully. It had it's good moments but the frame rate can really ruin any immersion of the game. It also lacks variety in gameplay but the story was good though. I'm really happy I have played it now though not to mention I managed to become the 21st fastest achiever of the 100% ?. I did 1 of the 3 playthroughs required for Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones whilst right now I'm playing my first playthrough of Alpha Protocol. I ordered TWD Seasons 1 and 2 for PS3 so I may swap them in for Mafia II and Arkedo Series - 01 Jump! if they get here on time. 0 - The Bureau: XCOM Declassified [18-07-2020] 1 - Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones - 67% 2 - Mafia II 3 - Steins;Gate [16-07-2020] 4 - Master Reboot 5 - Alpha Protocol - 14% 6 - Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge ✅ [10-07-2020] 7 - Arkedo Series - 01 Jump! 8 - Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon [04-07-2020] 9 - The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition ✅ [06-07-2020] (Weekly Update #4) I completed another two titles last week and even more progress was made on others. I plat'd Master Reboot which is a very interesting game which I really did not expect to like as much as I did. It really drew me in with it's intense and spine chilling storytelling. I was a little confused by the end but nevertheless, it was a really cool title. I really love the horror aspects too, it really kept you on edge with each chapter. I also plat'd The Walking Dead in place of Arkedo Series - 01 Jump! which was a needed switch as I really have no intention of playing Arkedo Series other thn to fill a position for this challenge. The Walking Dead is a beautiful yet brutal game following the adventure of lovable duo Lee and Clementine in the comic book world of The Walking Dead. I've plat'd the PS4 version of this game before so I knew what the story was about but it's always a pleasure to play through this masterpiece. It's always fun to interact with a great cast of side characters and favour one while neglecting the other making difficult choices left right and center. Best Telltale game to date. Anyway I also did my 2nd playthrough of Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones while also finishing my 2nd playthrough for Prince of Persia: Warrior Within too which isn't part of my challenge list but I wanted it done before the third game. I also completed my Alpha Protocol playthrough that I started the previous week. Unfortunately I missed a trophy that I was specifically going for in that playthrough so it's possible I will have to do an extra playthrough for this game. We'll see. I'm hoping in the coming week, I'll be able to finish the challenge but that all depends on if Alpha Protocol requires 1 or 2 more playthroughs. Progression is looking good though and it look like I'll be able to finish at least 5 or 6 days before the events finishes. 0 - The Bureau: XCOM Declassified [18-07-2020] 1 - Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones - 81% 2 - Mafia II The Walking Dead: Season 2 3 - Steins;Gate [16-07-2020] 4 - Master Reboot [25-07-2020] 5 - Alpha Protocol - 65% 6 - Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge ✅ [10-07-2020] 7 - Arkedo Series - 01 Jump! Popular Post Sparklepop36
I finished this event! It is my very first event ever, so I picked some short/easy games to figure out how much time it would take me to complete it. Next time, I will choose some longer/more difficult games. One thing this event did was give me the urge to go back and finish some games that have been in my backlog forever. Popular Post Fenrirfeather
With the release of Tales of Crestoria which has a surprisingly engaging and lengthy story for a “gacha” mobile game so far, I got temporarily distracted (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄) but I managed to put a couple more completions under my belt. 0 - The Silver Case HD 1 - The 25th Ward: The Silver Case 2 - Hakuōki: Stories of the Shinsengumi 3 - Stardew Valley 4 - Titan Souls 5 - Cat Quest at 56% I sang praises on Silver Case last time and I stick with that. What a weird gem. The 25th Ward which serves as a loosely related sequel to The Silver Case of sorts, however... I honestly liked the sheer and utter strangeness of it and the return of several characters from the previous game but it is hard to recommend a game that plays like a full-blown fever dream (and a completely open-ended one at that!) in good conscience. So I will not: no clear recommendation. Little is lost by skipping it (until/if the planned sequel - possibly the 26th Ward - is realised). I picked up Cat Quest in late 2018 on the recommendation of non-gamer friends but had been wary of starting it till now despite numerous more urgings since then because of the trophy list’s incredibly high completion percentage. Figured it may turn out to be cheap and uninspiring. But I got to admit: after all the novels and Titan Souls, the simple but fast gameplay and overly cute and silly design is totally enjoyable. In its own charming way, Cat Quest is pretty furmidable. And those little gruff “meow” sounds that the protagcat makes every time that he gets hit? Now that’s just purrfectly endearing, meow ? I hope to be done with Cat Quest later today or tomorrow latest, it’s truly short. For the remaining numbers, I have a couple ideas from my backlog but none of them are all that concrete. I think I might go for yet more crime/detective stories and do the PS4 version of Heavy Rain for #8 before my old sub of PS+ finally runs out for good. For the remaining time of this event, I’ll just keep doing what I did so far: go with the flow ? and report what came of it next time here. Popular Post SpaceCoresDad
Been a hot minute, but I finally got another one finished up. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 is a JRPG, which I don't normally play and... this game kind of demonstrated the reason, haha. I actually really liked the story, it was pretty fun and the characters were silly and cute, but man I can't get into the grindy gameplay that comes with that sort of thing. I hear the other ones get better, which I guess is good because I got two of the sequels already, lmao, but it'll be a while before I play those. I got it done though!
