Trials Fusion is a physics platform racing game requiring the player to get over a variety of obstacles while trying to complete the stage as quickly as possible. On paper the game is extremely simple as the player can only accelerate, brake, or lean their rider, but the depth and different tricks you can achieve with this simple control scheme is astonishing.

 

Congrats on 100%! Seeing that you've enjoyed the journey so much, just a friendly reminder - the game has unlimited content and an insane sense of reward even (or especially) past trophies, and now that you've honed your skills, you may enjoy trying out some Track Central tracks to see for yourself  Just my two cents, I keep making similar posts whenever someone finishes this game ?

No Ultra Rare plats for me yet, but I'm updating to swap in two versions of SteamWorld Dig. I think this should be okay since they're separate trophy lists, and there's no cross save so I'll have to do everything in both versions. I started playing the Vita version while watching the Olympics, but I didn't realize it had its own trophy list. Since I'm trying to improve my completion % again this year I'll be going for the 100% this week. And I figure I might as well do the PS4 version while I'm at it. This way I can bump up my PCG and make some actual progress in this challenge as well.

TIER 1 - COMPLETION 3

 

Action Henk is a platformer/racer where you slide, run, jump, and sometimes hook your way through 50 standard levels, 10 character levels (where you need to beat a certain character to the finish line), and 10 bonus levels (where you need to collect all the coins within a certain amount of time) spread out across 10 different worlds, each one featuring a distinct background and soundtrack. The trophy list is a challenging one, as in addition to completing all of the aforementioned levels, you need to obtain all 50 Rainbow Medals for the standard levels. Most of the worlds aren't that bad, but the last two feature a noticeable increase in difficulty. The hardest level in the whole game was the very last standard one, "The Way of the Ninja". That level does live up to its name, as each section is a tricky one that requires smooth execution and a good amount of practice. I spent around 5 hours on this level between practice runs and full runs until I nailed it, and it would've been an even harder Rainbow Medal if the Rainbow Ghost didn't mess up a little at the end. The game's "reset to checkpoint" feature helps a lot, as it allows you to practice each individual section without having to restart the entire level every time - although you occasionally have to because certain sections require you to have some good speed at the start, which you can only achieve by running through the level again. I've uploaded all my Rainbow Medal runs here and will also compile my runs for the character and bonus levels.

All in all, I liked Action Henk and would definitely recommend it if you enjoy this kind of game. The game, albeit simple in concept, is fun to play and presents a good and satisfying challenge.

 

I think that's it for this quarter's Most Wanted list. Maybe I'll get the DLC for Lords of the Fallen and play that one, but that's a huge maybe. ?

Tier 1 Update

I finished Hustle Kings, @Mori and the absurdly rare trophies pulled me on board. The game was actually pretty fun, besides grinding out the HKC and online matches. Still, I think this will be my last billiards game.

Also replaced Isaac for Dead Cells, which I am about to finish.

 

I did some good progress in Trackmania but have now arrived at the black series. You really feel the difficulty spike here and every track is quite demanding. I'm at 166 now and planning to do at least one per day, more if I can keep my focus .

3rd game on my list done, Nova-111. It's an okay game I suppose, it doesn't do a very good job at keeping your attention for too long, it's a nice enough distraction for an afternoon and there's some free UR trophies to earn so win win I guess.

Once we got done everything but level grinding, my boosting partner and I decided to just turbo our way to the rest of the XP, thus the AI and randos in the match (all of whom were also turboing, if memory serves me correct).

 

In any case, not really planning to get to anything at the immediate moment in terms of URs. Wanna work on getting done my remaining Nep plats before Neptunia Sisters Vs Sisters comes out (still need three versions each of Neptunia Reverse and Nep X SK) as well as honing my DJMax skills some more since a new DLC should be coming out in a few weeks.

My fourth game, Call Of Duty: Black Ops is now complete. The last trophy I had was the worst trophy in the whole game, Ground Control. I just popped the trophy on wave 14 playing solo. Thankfully I never have to play zombies again as I didn’t really care for it. I also have the current slowest time for 100% having first played the game at release.

EA Sports UFC 4 completed. Playing it was a spontaneous decision as it is free to obtain via PS Plus this month.

One online trophy, while not being particularily problematic, took a little while. I'm talking about the Blitz Battle trophy. I got it in KO Mode (kicking only).

 

I'd also like to announce another swap. I'm switching out Action Henk for OlliOlli. Despite this I'm still planning to do Action Henk, just not now. Hopefully I'll get around to it before it disappears from the Most Wanted list^^.

I Hate Running Backwards (1.60%)

Difficulty: 8.5/10

Fun: 4/10

Time spent: about 70h

 

This game is a shoot'em down where your character keeps moving upwards while you just shoot the enemies incoming from the bottom. And that's all. It's just 5 stages, then you can just proceed to the second loop which is again all 5 stages but with stronger enemies, or just quit. Indeed, there is just a local co-op mode available and daily challenges, nothing else, therefore the lack of variety will quickly drain the fun. During the run you are given 2 weapons you can decide to pick or not after each boss, as well as perks when you collect enough gold to have some passive abilities.

I strongly unrecommend the game for the reasons above, as well as the fact that the runs are hugely luck based... and now I can begin with my rant. The only platinum blocker trophy is one asking for a run without taking damage with 6 curses active, which are some extra osbtacles that randomly spawn. Doesn't sound that bad, right? well actually the first problems come right from them, since:

• they can spawn inside bosses or buildings, so you just can't see them. AKA you are screwed
• they can spawn in some bad moments so that they lock you in a spot and you can't avoid taking damage

Hopefully, the developers balanced the game to make it doable enough... no. You can be fully pranked by the game that is perfectly capable to give you the worst weapons for all 5 stages, which just kills your run since you will be overwhelmed if you have bad weapons. It can also just give you the worst perks as well, so again you get overwhelmed. Not to mention some stages have some difficult scenarios that, combined with some particular enemies, can become impossible to pass without getting damaged.

You need a run where you are lucky for about 20 minutes in a row, in fact it took me over 40h to finally finish this run. This is my run:

I hate games whose trophies rely too much on luck, I hope this won't become a trend one day.

 

So, I have been grinding Battlezone but I'm not even half done with that so i doubt I will finish it as my next game. I think I will start Bleed 1 instead.
