And there's nr. 7 completed: Ark Survival Evolved. As i wrote in the Platinum Difficulty Event i used the easy way to get the trophies with the Admin Console but i am impressed by a world inhabited by men and dinosaurs so i'll still play the game

Little update. I've been playing Star Ocean 3 for the past few weeks and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now... just need to finish the game on the two harder difficulties and I will have the platinum.

 

I also just bought Vanquish in this current sale and I'm swapping it in when it's still UR.

Finished a few more games since my last update.

 

Override was a very straightforward and easy plat. Most of my time was spent boost misc trophies, which for the most part were very simple. The campaign could for the most part just be cheesed by spawn killing all the enemies, so this became boring too, especially with 1.5 playtroughs needed. The 19 URs did make it worth it though

 

Frozen Synapse Prime is a turn based strategy game that I boosted over a year ago (just after the shutdown was announced), but was putting off playing the campaign for a long time. It wasn't too bad though, the main difficulty of the game lies in having a good first move, and a decent follow up after that. The enemy behaves in a somewhat predictable way, so 1v1 situations aren't too bad to deal with. The campaign is ~25 hours long though, and with no variety in scenery or unit types at all (a few seperate missions towards the end aside), it did become kinda monotonous after a while, so for the second half I just followed a video guide to get it over with more quickly.

 

I have also been playing some good and challenging games though aside from whUR games like above. I made some good progress in VVVVVV and managed to get the Super Gravitron trophy for surviving 60 seconds. This was a huge pain in the ass, as it took me over 30 hours of practice and had like 10 runs end over 50 seconds in. I looked up multiple videos of how to deal with every pattern, and got good strats out of it for the most part, but there's also a couple more random looking patterns, and sometimes the different obstacles follow each other up very quickly, from both sides, which requires very quick thinking and a lot of precision to deal with them. 

Taking a bit of a break from this though to clean up a couple shorter games first, then I'll go back for the time trials and no death run, which should hopefully be more fun

Ah yes, it's that game with the amusing title. I was always curious about it for... reasons - mostly the awesome gameplay and kickass soundtrack. And let me tell you, those aspects of the game did not disappoint throughout the multiple playthroughs required for the platinum (4 minimum). While the game has a dull story, iffy controls that take a little while to get used to, and some weird moments, it compensates for all that with the gameplay and soundtrack. Slashing and dual-shooting enemies in slow-motion while diving, sliding, or wallrunning never got old - especially when a rocky tune kicked in, oh yes. ?

 

As for the platinum, it's a fairly challenging one. Story Mode has several tricky sections (mostly some Arenas but also a few Rage Mode sections) and there are a few challenges that took many tries to nail, but it's not too bad overall. The trophy list itself requires you to beat the game on various difficulty levels, get all the collectibles in the game, beat the target score for each chapter, obtain a Gold Medal in all the challenges, and go for a small bunch of miscellaneous trophies. Nothing too difficult though and I did enjoy that aspect of the trophy list.

Star Ocean 3 done! This was the game that probably started my obsession with trophies! It was very fun to experience it again.

With the PS Plus games for this month and the seemingly inevitable and impending changes to PSNOW, I am making a few changes. I would expect the lineup to change, so I want to knock out a couple more games.

 

Might as well cheese Ark to clear that huge file from my HD. PixelJunk and Lone Survivor have been on my radar for a bit and seem to be shorter to clear off the list.

 

Meanwhile, been getting my gold cups in Rayman Legends to slowly chip away at the ~1800 points needed outside of the cups earned in the game. Handball 2016 is kind of a mess.  At first it feels impossibly difficult as the rival AI is brutal and lucky. Even after 20 wins or so, I feel like the other team can score on about 50% of their chances and I have little power over it.

Finished my fourth game with Mothergunship. I typically suck at FPS games so I'm glad I was able to finish this one. If you're decent at the FPS genre then this would be an easy UR. There's little enemy and room variety so it might become tedious or tiresome.

hi @Compl3tionixt100 i see that you wrote you finished Deus Ex Mankind Divided but you miss some dlc trophies. According to the rules you need to get all trophies in a game unless they're unobtainable due to server shutdown or delisting. From a quick search i cannot see either problem so i think you haven't completed the game according to this events rules

Yes that is correct. Unless the DLC is delisted or the online is dead, you have to 100% the entire game. Thanks for pointing that out

Ok so after taking Feb off of this comp to focus on some smaller stuff I'm ready to get back into the swing of things with Star Ocean!  I've started Last Hope as of this morning.  I'm planning my first tour through for collectibles (spaceships, treasure chests, etc.) then save collesium and bunny stuff for next playthrough.

 

Happy to be focusing on this again after a couple weeks.  Back to my list of long grinding.

The second worst CoD I’ve played right after Vanguard. I didn’t like Extinction mode at all and the SP was also pretty bad. 
 

But we had some fun nights playing together. Thanks to @Mori, @HusKy and @Koro249. This was our last time playing Call of Duty together..

 

I made a few swaps too. Swapped in Dragon Quest Heroes II and Pure Pool for Days Gone and Wolfenstein II. And I will swap in the masterpiece TorqueL later, but I don’t know for which game yet..
 

My next update will be a long time from now. Not in the mood to play any of these games at the moment.
