this past days i have been focusing on completing dragonball xenoverse 2 last dlc trophie the hero coliseum with figures i am doing it  until its done then i continue collecting platinum trophies i reached almost 20.50 in pcg  i am glad i started with trophie hunting but with alot of unearned trophies its going to be one heck of a journey to getting it down to at least lower then 9000 unearned trophies happy trophie hunting everyone

I'm still making progress in Omega Quintet, and made it through a few more chapters of the story. But, the narrative has really slowed down, and there hasn't been much development at all. Instead, the bulk of the mid-game seems to be side quests and affection events. I'm not overly surprised. There's a lot to do to get the true ending of the game. But, everything seems a bit one-note right now. I'm hoping to be through the main campaign, and working on the post-game by the end of this week. So, hopefully, the story will pick back up!

 

I also took some time to do a trophy clean-up of the Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection, and get the plat. I only needed to unlock a few characters (Cell Jr. & Supreme Kai) and win the Cell Games in Budokai 3. And, I'm extremely glad that I never deleted my save data. Otherwise, the clean-up would have been more of a pain than it was. The characters were fine, other than a bit of grinding in Dragon Arena (Budokai 3's vs. mode) and Dragon Universe (Story Mode). But, winning the Cell Games was a test in patience. It took several tries, even with the Viral Heart Disease/Vaccine skill combo to help. But, it's done, at least.

 

Finally, I was in the mood to return to the PS3 version of Frozen Free Fall: Snowball Fight. It's a relaxing match-3 puzzle experience. But, the PS3 version of the game is known to be very glitchy trophy-wise, and the patches for this game have made it so you have to play offline in order to even get past the start screen and have made it so that the DLC trophies are unobtainable in most cases / for those just starting the game, since the trophy data for the DLC trophies was broken.

 

However, there have been posts in the forums that have indicated that if you had the game (and subsequently the DLC trophy data) installed on your PS3 prior to the 1.05 patch, the DLC trophies may still be possible (Proof). And, given that the game's been on my PS3 since 2015, I do want to at least try for the 100% and see if things work out for me. I may still end up only being able to get the base game done, and if so, that's fine. I have other games with unobtainable trophies on my profile that I will never get. But, I'll never know unless I try.

Happy Sunday everybody!

 

I am finally getting more time to game again. Work has been a bit too hectic lately.

 

Red Dead Redemption 2 - PS5 - 12% => 12%

No trophy progress but getting through the SP step-by-step.

 

It Takes Two - PS5 - 75% => 80%

we have arrived at what seems to be the last chapter. I am amazed how every chapter feels different. They did a good job with chaning capabilities every chapter, keeps it very fresh

 

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus - PSVita - 41% => 41%

Did make soem progress just not trophies. Planning to finish this this week.

 

Rocket League + DLC (5/9)  - PS4 - 77% => 92%

Knocked out 3 DLC's and have 1 left to go. Not playing the game just mopping up the trophies.

Last Week

Secret of Mana 40% -> 100%

FAR: Changing Tides  0% -> 37%

 

 

Got through the second playthrough my own incompetence forced upon me in Secret of Mana reasonably quickly, the main issue I had was with the grinding for weapon orbs in the endgame. Took about 15 hours to get there, then another solid five hours of praying for rare drops. I decided to time how long it took to get the nine orbs I needed - the first one dropped second attempt after 1:33 - so I was feeling pretty good about things at that point! Unfortunately the second one took 2 hours and 3 minutes to pop along, which was a bit spirit crushing. That was by far the worst one, thankfully none of the rest took over an hour to drop, mostly around the 30 minute mark. Not an experience I'm keen to go through again anytime soon though - it did make me question the whole trophy-chasing experience slightly! 

 

Slight change of pace with Changing Tides, a nice little puzzler about a boy and his boat. Not been too stressful an experience this, seems to be relatively short and sweet - there's a speedrun trophy to finish it in 210 minutes, which might cause some headaches for this week. It certainly looks pretty but it hasn't quite grabbed me as of yet, finding it a bit of an effort to put in an extended sitting into it so far, maybe the Mana trophy experience has jaded me slightly.

 

Assuming my get-up-and-go comes back and the speedrun doesn't give too many problems, it'll be onto something else after that TBD - we'll see what I feel like when the time comes.

Only played a handful of games this week, but did manage to get a trophy for reaching 20 kills during a lights out sabotage.  Status on the main grind: 75/100 crewmate wins & 52/150 imposter kills.

I decided to pull this off of the previously started pile and make it my focus. I last played it over 10 years ago, and I have to say I'm surprised that it's servers are still up with all of the servers that EA has been shutting down recently. It's the oldest game on my profile that has an obtainable platinum, so I'm going to try and complete it before it's too late. (nothing's been announced as far a server-shutdowns, I'm just being proactive) So far I've only played for 2-3 hours and have just been playing the single player "story" mode, (calling it a story mode is being pretty generous) and trying to get a feel for the game. The moment to moment snowboarding feels pretty good. I was really into 1080 Snowboarding on N64 when I was a kid, so this game is tapping into that nostalgia pretty well so far. After reading through some of the requirements for the platinum it is becoming clear that completing this game is likely to be a substantial grind. We will see how it goes. Hopefully the game remains fun throughout.

 

What's Next?

 

- Continue the Among Us VR grind.

- Dive a little deeper into SSX.

 

I'm looking at the list of games that I set for myself to complete this year and a lot of them are much more time-intensive than I think I gave them credit for. We will see if I can pull it off.

Ah, it's Monday again. I skipped last week because there was no progress to report. This week I completed an old game and a new game.

 

Link-A-Pix Deluxe 23% -> 100% 

Tekken 7 0% -> 100% 

 

Link-A-Pix Deluxe started as a fun puzzle game, but at some point I got bored and didn't want to complete all 240 puzzles. After finishing a couple of games I used the guide from Knoef because you needed specific puzzles to complete it.

 

Tekken has always been one of my favorite fighting games. Easy to pick up, difficult to master but also doable in terms of Platinum difficulty. Tekken 7 is no exception to that and also easier than previous games. The only thing that made it last longer, was winning special matches in Treasure Battle. Instead of staying with 1 character my advice will be to switch after you got 1 character at Warrior rank. So you won't face a difficult opponent in special matches all the time after a 30 win streak. I think this oneis doable in 8-10 hours. If you are really good at the game and without skipping cutscenes, probably around 5 hours.

 

Overall progress: 62.26% (goal: 67%)

Ultra rare Platinum Trophies: 1 (goal: more than 2)

Overall Trophies: goal 500 off 6888. Currently at 6897 😄

The Elder Scrolls Online PS5/PS4 7%/ 4%

Popped the trophy for joining the Thieves Guild and did some questing, no percentage increase though.

 

Zombi 0 > 82%

One of the Discords I am in does a monthly Platinum challenge, Zombi was this month's choice. Luckily, "Z" is one of the last 2 letters I need for my A-Z Platinum list but it is a very mid-tier game. It is not all that hard but requires 3 playthroughs minimum. I found the first run to be rather boring so I can see why the game is UR, people just don't want to go through it once on each difficulty. I am doing my last 2 runs in tandem.

 

Hopefully by the end of this week, I will be done with Zombi and back to LAD Infinite Wealth.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chonicles (57% -> 57%):

No change here. Really need to get back into it

 

Call of Duty: Black Ops (67% -> 68%):

Finished In the Money, just have all the zombie trophies left.

 

Mirror's Edge (43% -> 43%):

No change, need to start hard mode though.

 

Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God (30% -> 33%):

Finished the last story dungeon, going through the other dungeons and getting the RNG collectibles I missed the first time. I am pretty close to starting the 250 floor dungeon, almost have all my weapons ready.

 

Death's Door (29% -> 91%):

Finished up the main story and clean up. Only have the beat game with umbrella, which is pretty hard. I'm almost halfway through the second dungeon, so it should happen this week, just slowly.

 

So not a lot of trophies earned this week. Mostly Death's Door. I was hoping to be finished with it already, but oh well. Hopefully will finish soon.

Week 6 update (2/5-2/11)

 

Persona 3 Reload (0% --> 61%)

My copy finally showed up last Monday, and it's the only game I've played since. I just finished the October full moon operation last night, so I should be able to wrap up my blind story play through at some point this week. I decided not to use the powerpyx 100% guide since I've never actually played Persona 3 before this, which means it's looking like I'll need to do a second play through if I decide to go for the max all social links trophy and the platinum. I knew that going in, though; I'll probably save that decision for after I finish this play through.

 

Honkai: Star Rail (95% --> 82%) and Fate/Samurai Remnant (100% --> 84%)

I didn't play either of these games this week, but I felt like they were both mentioning since they both had new DLC trophies drop this week. I haven't played Star Rail seriously in a while, so I have no plans to clean that one up any time soon. However, I'm torn on Samurai Remnant. I loved the game and would love to hop back in, but I also kind of want to wait for a sale on the DLC, or at least for the other two planned DLC episodes to release.

I think this was my first week with negative progress in any of the stats I'm tracking. Even so, I almost made enough progress in Persona 3 Reload to at least offset the completion percentage drop caused by two new DLC sets releasing this week. Unfortunately those two DLC sets combined with the handful of P3R trophies I haven't earned yet pretty much erased my unearned trophy progress from the past couple of weeks. After I finish P3R (and finally play Sly like I keep telling my friend I will) I'll probably find something buried in my backlog to clean up. Or maybe I'll play something installed on the PS5 that I haven't started yet. Or both. Both is good.

Right, that is one of the runs I am working on. You can back up your save file for any accidental deaths, if you are consistent with that, 15-30 minutes should be all that you lose really. That said, even the Chicken Difficulty run is at a very low completion rate. I think it was a PS+ game as well so that surely had an effect on rarity.

yeah dragonball xenoverse 2 is hard for example if you want to collect skills from certain characters it is not certain if it wil drop cause its luck based dragonball xenoverse 2 is a real pain sometimes and i unlocked my first ultra rare trophie

Not too much going on for last week.

 

Sniper Elite V2  PS4 | 48/48 | 100% 

Finished Sniper Elite V2 last week. It was just as good as 10 years ago on PS3. The added challenges were pretty good too.

No real issues with this game whatsoever which is always nice. 

 

Metal Hellsinger PS4 | 17/29 | 47%

Finally decided to play Metal Hellsinger. I've been interested in this one for a while, mainly because some of my favourite singers are in this game. 

The music is awesome but sadly the gameplay is kind of repetitive but it's still worth a play if you are into metal music. 

Haven't finished the campaign yet but that will probably happen somewhere this week.

Updating a little late. I wanted to wait until I got 100% on Foamstars, but I haven't been able to clear the Hard mission yet. Had a couple of good groups where we got to wave 9 out of 10, but then it all fell apart. In between those good games though, there were plenty with people that obviously weren't upgraded at all. Very frustrating. That was my main game for the week, but I also made a little more progress in Brotato and Relink.

 

For this week, I'm really focusing on GTA V story mode. I put off starting it and now the 20th is looming. Hopefully I can finish up all the editor trophies this week, plus get that last one in Foamstars. I also picked up the Tomb Raider collection but I'm going to try and hold off on starting in on those until after I've finished the GTA V trophies.

Midway through February, and have had some decent progress the last couple weeks, so I figure it's a good time for an update here.

 

I got Hardspace: Shipbreaker finished up. I've played it on PC, so I already knew what I was getting into, but I have quite a lot of fun with it. Like a reverse puzzle, to try to figure out how to take everything apart without blowing myself up lol. I also played through Tacoma, since it was leaving Extra soon. Other than that I've stuck with pulling out games already on my profile, so I think I've done well.

 

Had some good time for couch co-op play. Moving Out 1 & 2, and Cat Quest 2 got some progress, but any more will just depend on when I end up with more time with co-op partners. Started Lawn Mowing Sim back up for my random sim game to zone out to now that shipbreaker is done. (I wish the PowerWash Sim trophy would get fixed already, so I could finish that up.)

 

I also wanted to try to see if I could get back into Genshin Impact, and had a surprise there. Ended up having to re-download it on the PS4 (thank goodness we still have it), so that I could find account info to link. When I finally got into it though, there were a number of trophies that popped. I guess for things I'd already finished before more trophies were added. It got a bump from 12% to 26% for nothing! I didn't have much time to spend to try to re-figure out how to play the game/what I was doing, and if I play on the PS5 I'll end up with a whole other trophy list added, so I'm not sure what will happen with it. But bonus trophies for doing nothing is fun

 

I am still working through Dragon Quest Builders as my main focus. (Though obviously I am easily distractable and end up doing other things half the time.) We have house guests this week though, so time with my TV & PS5 has been scarce. Hopefully I can finish it up by the end of the month. Plan to play around in Genshin on my PC while other people are using the PS5 and see if I can accomplish anything there.

Finished this off Wednesday night giving me a new UR platinum and the letter Z in my A-Z platinum list! I do not recommend this game.

Popped the trophy for joining the Dark Brotherhood which at least increased the percentage of the PS5 version. 😆 Also done a lot more questing, completing ~30% of the quests in Glenumbra.

 

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth 0 > 4 > 7%

Finally got back to this on Thursday and and completed a couple of more side stories. Would have done more but TESO really absorbed me Friday. I'd really like to dive deep into it this weekend.

 

Finishing Zombi and popping a few other trophies in TESO and LADIW got me back under 600 unearned trophies and above 94% Overall Completion.

Im wondering if i experiment persona 5 Striker or naruto Shippuden 4. Any recommendation?

Very busy indeed. I'd say to dust off the old PS3 and give some of those games some love and get that % on the up and up.

i have earned trophies in certain games like ishin and final fantasy 2 trophie hunting is so much fun  it push me beyond what i can achieve in a game for example dragonball xenoverse 2 98 percent it came from verylow in percent 45 i think i gonna play further ishin cause i enjoy that game only the fishing part is annoing but overall ishin is great

I got a ps3 slim slim with my cousin but it was a pain because my wifi wasnt connecting, controller wasnt charging properly. I manage to make wifi working with a hotspot on my cellphone but i coudnt download anything then i gave up. BUT I will be moving to Australia in abouth 2 months. When i get there, my plan is to buy a ps3 and clean that old games haunting me 😂
