February 

This month was rather lackluster in the numbers department were a mere 41 trophies earned and a net minus in overall percentage. That said though, it had some highs. 

 

Zombi 0 > 100%

Didn't care for this game but it netted me an UR letter Z platinum for my A-Z platinum and secured my 1 platinum a month streak, extending it to 38 months.

 

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth 0 > 20%

Put 40 hours into it so far and am only on chapter 6. Got a ways to go but it's definitely a great game and I won't be starting FF7: Rebirth at least until I beat the story.

 

The Elder Scrolls Online PS4/ PS5 9%/ 6%

I keep getting torn between this and LAD:IW and wanting to play FF7R doesn't help as each one is a major time sink. Managed a few more trophies this month, reaching level 50, spending my first Champion point, and getting a score of 3,000 in Battlegrounds. 

 

Looking into March, I want to at least beat LAD:IW, make more incremental progress in TESO, maybe platinum a quick game for my streak, and possibly get to FF7R. Cheers!

The Elder Scrolls Online PS4/ PS5 11%/ 7%

This month in the daily login rewards, they gave away the Orsinium DLC on day 2 and then ran a promotion to give a free mount upon completing that DLC's storyline so I ended up doing that for most of my time this past week. Snagged a couple of trophies along the way.

 

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth 0 > 21 > 25%

Not as much progress as I would have liked but I have made it to chapter 8 and made some more progress in the side things.

 

Helldivers 0 > 6%

I took the dive (ba dum tsh) and picked this up as birthday gift to myself. Only played a few hours so far and I can see the potential this game has but you definitely need a squad. I played a couple missions solo and barely got through even though I was on a low difficulty. The few times I managed to get into a full 4 player group were great but surprisingly not everyone is mic'd up. I don't know if they are on a PSN chat or just mic less but I was really looking forward to some open mic teamwork which is something I have dearly missed from my Killzone MP days. A friend is thinking about getting it too so I am looking forward to squading up with them.

 

Back up over 600 unearned trophies but hopefully in the long run, Helldivers is worth the additional dip in Overall Completion Percentage. Hope everyone has a good week!

i played ishin and its a good game lvl 15 at the moment i am enjoying the game.

the diofield chronicle 15% ps4 version

i play diofield and its a first time i played a strategie game its fun stil in chapter 1 i am replaying some missions to lvl up since there is a trophie for to reach lvl 50 i unlocked some trophies in the progress.

Finished up the story and started reviewing the collectibles and holy shit, there's over 500 of them. I have finished up 3 or 4 sections. I have to give props to the waypoints because so far it has worked really well. I have placed one on a GridLeak that's in a building and it placed the waypoint on the correct floor. The dashes (the speed run stuff) has been fairly easy too. I have done 10 of the 22 and haven't had too much trouble with them.

 

Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God (45% -> 45%):

On about floor 90 ish. Trying to set more time to grind this out. My gear is about +90, getting close to that +99. I had a couple hours of reset time because I kept not realizing my weapon would get to level 5 and then get fragile which means on next hit, it breaks. Very very annoying.

 

Done a lot of work in Catalyst. Need to really do some original ME though.

Work is keeping me very occupied, so I only had little time to play and finished some easy ones from the backlog. Loot Hero DX is probably one of the easiest on the list, but was fun to play and had some nice music. I had no time to decrease the pile of unearned Trophies. Next time, next time!

Finally tried out Destiny 2 on PS5 and that took up a lot of gaming time this past week. I would have played it even more if I was able to stay connected to the servers longer than 20 minutes at a time. Not sure what's up with that. But that gave me a chance to play some other stuff.

• Chugging along in my FF7R replay, and actually got the bike trophy this time (by playing that section on easy).
• Got Foamstars back up to 100% by playing the new solo missions. Pretty fun!
• 2 easy plats from Hello Neighbor 2. The PS5 version runs fine, but the PS4 one is rough. 

I was hoping to finish Dark Souls 2 while the Return to Drangleic event was going on, but I didn't get very far. The next one is for Bloodborne on March 27th so I'll probably wait on more DS2 until after that. Then I'll go back to Elden Ring to prepare for the DLC in June.

 

I really want to focus on FF7R this week so that will be my main game, with some GTA Online mixed in as well. Gotta try out the new heist.

Finished Scars Above early in the week, really enjoyed it. Final boss was a bit of a letdown, was expecting something a bit more spectacular considering some of the early game stuff but that's a minor complaint really. Not too many problems in getting through it, some parts were a bit tricky early on but weapons and skills upgrades made the second half feel much easier. Maybe I just got skillz along the way.

 

Moved onto and past Concrete Genie next, which was....fine I guess. Wasn't really long enough to find myself having any stronger emotions than that towards it. Certainly pretty enough, once I got past the ridiculous notion of a derelict town being rejuventated by a kid graffiting every wall he could see. Also a lack of due diligence before starting it and not noticing the VR-related DLC trophies means I'll probably have three more unearned trophies on my profile from now until Armageddon - the whole idea of virtual reality doesn't really grab me (I have enough problems in real reality!) so it's extremely doubtful I'll go to the effort of tracking down a now outdated piece of hardware at a reasonable price just to tick off three bronze trophies. Chalk it down to experience.

 

Finished up the week with The Stick of Truth, a decent amount of the way through that. Plenty missable trophies along the way in this one, so I've been following a walkthrough to get as much done first time around as possible. Bit of a false start when I realised I botched one trophy early on, which needed a restart and cost a couple of hours. Better realising early than later I suppose, hopefully when I finish the story I won't have to play the whole game again, bar one trophy that can be ticked off in the first ten minutes. Of course, the downside of playing a South Park game is now I have the urge to watch every episode again, which might cut into my free time next week!

Week 10 Update (3/4-3/10)

 

Persona 3 Reload (91% --> 100%)

I finally popped the platinum for this game on March 5th. I had never played Persona 3 before Reload, but now it's one of my favorite games of all time. I'm not super familiar with The Answer, but I can't wait for September if for no other reason than more Persona 3.

 

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation (0% --> 19%)

This is another game I'm playing for the Spring Backlog Challenge. It's been sitting in my backlog for a while, and since I've watched at least the first two seasons of the anime, I figured I could finally enjoy the visual novel. This game is technically three games in one, and I made it through Rinne Utopia, the first of the three games. It's a pretty middle of the road dating sim, which isn't really surprising given that Date A Live is very much a harem series. It was okay, but not really anything to write home about.

 

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd (0% --> 20%)

This one is also part of my backlog challenge game list. I platinumed the first Project DIVA F game a while back and enjoyed it, plus I developed an itch for a rhythm game again. I got through all the songs on normal, and now I just need to go through them again on hard.  Then it's on to the collectible grind.

I find myself with some spare time today, so I decided it's a good time for an update! I haven't done anything too spectacular yet this month, but have mostly refrained from starting new games, so I still count it as a win so far.

 

I had been wanting to play Tchia for a while and am glad I got through it before it left Extra; had a lot of fun with it. I intended to play Haven as well before it leaves, but I think I've decided not to start it. After Tchia, I had a hard time deciding what to play, bounced around with a few other games, and couldn't really get into any one game. So, I don't want to start Haven and then leave it unfinished when it goes off Extra. (Yay me for making smart decisions!) I ultimately went with inFamous: First Light, since it's pretty short and I was hoping it could hold my attention long enough to finish. It was fun and I did get through the story and 1 or 2 of the arenas, but didn't feel like doing more just now. It's been in my backlog for a while, so I'm glad I finally got to it and I'm sure I'll get back to finish it up at some point.

 

I was also very excited that they finally fixed the trophy for PowerWash Sim, so I went back and finished up that platinum. I'm tempted to start on the PS4 version, but as I don't own any of the DLC just yet, I'm not sure that would help my completion % 🤣 I also got back into Dirt5 and have made some good progress there, on and off. Finished up most of the DLC sets. Just one more DLC to go and then a few things in career mode I skipped over, and I'll be finished up there. And then I got back into Diablo 3. (Side note: Every time I play 4, it just makes me want to play 3 lol.) I have put a lot of time into other versions of D3, but the PS4 version I haven't even finished the story. I start over with a new seasonal character every time I play, and then end up not playing it again until there's a new season, and the cycle continues. I feel like I'm going to successfully stick with it this time, but I'm only near the end of Act 2 now, so we'll see.

 

Planning to finish out the month with only these games that I've already played and not add anything new. Finishing Dirt5, making it through the Diablo 3 story, and getting back to First Light would be ideal, but we'll see how it goes

We'll see how confident you are when they release Dawntrail this summer with even MORE trophies. You'll never get 100% since you have FFXIV on your list, they'll just keep adding new trophies every year.

I did end up starting the game over and just doing one playthrough on Apocalyptic difficulty. It really wasn't that bad and only took a little bit of time to get used to the combat and how the game wanted me to play. I had a lot of fun going through the game. I had played it when it first came out years ago on steam and didn't remember much except that I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the over the top story and I look forward to continuing the story sometime soon. (Soon to me means in like the next year or so) Combat is not super deep, but fun enough for what it is. The story is fun in that it takes itself so seriously, but isn't really serious. But, yeah, a good time all around and mostly painless platinum experience.

 

 Downwell (PS4) 7% --> 11%

 

I played for another hour or so but didn't make any trophy progress. I guess I didn't really make any in-game progress either. This game is tough and I'm still not getting the hang of things. I'm still going to be giving it some more time and see if I can get better at it. It's the first game in a while though that I'm genuinely worried that it will end up being beyond my ability. (Not that I'm really good, just that I haven't attempted anything anywhere close to this difficult in a long while)

 

 Hue (PS4) 0% --> 100% (non-plat game)

 

This was one of the games that I put on my list at the beginning of the year of games I wanted to finally get around to. It's a short little indie puzzle platformer (much more puzzler than platformer though). The puzzle mechanic of swapping colors to make different things in the world appear/disappear was used quite cleverly and I enjoyed it. It was just about the right length because right when I was starting feel like I was starting to get bored of the main puzzle mechanic the game ended credits rolled. The story felt like they thought they had something more profound than they really did. Or it could just be I'm dense and didn't really get what they were trying to say. It wasn't anything too amazing, but was worth playing I think.

 

What's Next?

 

- I had planned to try to organize a boosting group for Among Us VR last week but never did. I'm try soon in the future, but I'm not sure how soon.

- Try some more Downwell and see if I can't improve any.

- Probably pick another one of the game from my list of games I want to complete this year. I'm thinking to make things interesting I may just load all of them onto the picker-wheel website and spin it to see what I play rather than stay frozen in decision paralysis.

Its like other mmo/online games, trophies every a few months. But I will keep playing then. I Just stopped cuz its hard for me to pay monthly on ffxiv, but i'm pretty sure I will get there.

Finally got Rebirth so I've been playing that along side Judgement recently

 

Judgement (PS4) (71% --> 91%):

Only thing left is ng+ on Legend difficulty. I had to learn how to play Mahjong and I do kind of enjoy playing it. Judgement does make you play a lot of it so I was sick of it by the end but I'm glad I learned how to play. Should have this wrapped up by next update!

 

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (0% --> 24%)

Still very early on (Chapter 4) but I really love this game so far. I know its gonna take me a long time so I'm taking my time and going through it slowly. Will have a lot of time to play now that I have 9 days off work to enjoy it.

The Expanse 0 > 100%

To secure my 1 platinum a month streak I played through and completed this quick and easy game. It's the new Telltale's first game and it was pretty good. I think this is meant to be a prequel to the show but I have never seen it so don't know for sure. The game's McGuffin and where it was found definitely sparked my interest so I might look into the show.

 

Decent enough week, I made it back under 600 unearned trophies and am almost back up to 94% Overall Completion. Before going back to Infinite Wealth, I think I might clean up FF7 Remake's DLC while poking at Helldivers 2.

i played again final fantasy 2 pixel remaster the game itself is fun

i finally surpassed majin buu in hero coliseum figures now i finish of the other characters for the final trophie then the game is 100 percent completed that is hard game but i am enjoying my time with it.

i am lvling up my characters to lvl 50 by replaying missions for the trophie then i finish of the game.

i kinda speedrunt trough the first 4 missions the first 4 missions was finished pretty quick.

Decent enough week, I made it back under 600 unearned trophies and am almost back up to 94% Overall Completion. Before going back to Infinite Wealth, I think I might clean up FF7 Remake's DLC while poking at Helldivers 2.

diofield chronicle is good i made some decent progress.

i gonna play rpg games on 1 april then start rpg mania 2024 event its going to be fun.

maybe sometimes my completion wil drop a few times when i play and finish a new game from the rpg genre.

i'm happy with my ps5 console aswell.

Very slow progress in the last weeks. Been too busy with all kinds off stuff.

 

Red Dead Redemption 2 - PS5 - 12% => 22%

I have a nice reasonable progress in the game. I am at chapter 6 and I believe I haven't missed any missble trophies so far. We know for sure after I have finished this chapter. Still, my biggest pitfall is getting distracted with all kinds of stuff you can do in the world.....

 

Devious Dungeon 2 - PSVita - 0% => 82%

Well I do s$ck big time on platform games. so why I started this game? I like to challenge myself 😆. SInce I was travelling last week I started this game as it also is featuring in another event on this site. Well, what can I say? Must be very simple if you are good at platforming. but it does provide a challenge for me. A good one and I am more or less enjoying it. SImple straight forward levels (although it is a rogue lite and thus you never know what you wil get); find the key and then find the portal to move to the next level. It is just that certain combinations of eneniemes form a too big of challenge. But getting there step-by-step

Week 11 Update (3/11-3/17)

 

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd (20% --> 78%)

I made some good progress here this week. All of the BFF trophies go pretty quick if you make sure to break up the rhythm game part with some visits to the diva rooms. However, the collectible trophies in this game are kind of annoying. Some require 100% of the items purchased, like Furniture Fiend, whereas others only require a specific amount. As an example, I got Mix-and-Match Master at only 30% of customization items unlocked. Either way, I still have more collectibles to unlock and room events to view, so the platinum is still a little ways away.

Total Completion Percentage: 55.51% --> 55.71% (+0.20%)

Total Trophies: 5926 --> 5940 (+14)

Platinum Trophies: 105 --> 105 (+0)

Unearned Trophies: 4768 --> 4754 (-14)

 

While I didn't make a whole lot of progress this week due to some real life things, it was almost enough to offset the drop in completion percentage I suffered last week. I'm hoping I can make some more progress in Project DIVA this week as well as maybe get back around to Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation if I have time.
