Popular Post Mesopithecus
#67. Truck Racer Would not have played this had it not been free on PS+ and competing in an event on this site. Overall, it's a pretty easy game mainly due to rubbish AI and physics, a couple of time trials are kind of a pain, but easy to get through with a bit of repetition and learning the track. #68. Super Exploding Zoo Enjoyed playing this one, was a bit of easy and lighthearted fun. Nothing too difficult and the online is straightforward to boost, especially as there is next to no one else playing. #69. The Order 1886 This game had a lot of potential but is too short and felt like one giant cut-scene/collectathon
Popular Post Mcbeanstr
#97 Arcade Game Series Dig Dug After beating Pac Man and Galaga I had to eventually come back and finish up the third game in the bundle. This game was interesting I don't recall playing it back in the 16-bit era but it felt kinda familiar . I thought the controls handled better than in Pac Man when you first start playing but the left stick can act really weird in tight corridors if you're getting swamped, that didn't help the situation unfortunately. ''Save scumming" helped a lot in this just like the previous games mentioned. Thank you for the guide demonoid321 and MMDE I'm just glad this is done now and I can focus on other backlog games that have been hanging around for way too long. Overall rating 6/10 Plat difficulty 4.5/10. Here's what's next to be tackled in the backlog Spoiler
Popular Post RuNNinG-sCaRe_D
#84 - Uncharted 4 One Last Time Great game. The best about the Uncharted-Games is the exploration-part. It's fun to climb and solve (easy) riddles. What i "hated" about 1-3 was th shooter-part. Too many waves of enemies. I expected the same in Uncharted 4. Luckily, the shooter-parts didn't feel that exhausting. The game has one "annoying" trophy imo: "Charted! - Speedrun" I tried it on my second playthrough together with "crushing mode". I don't know where i wasted about 40-50 minutes compared to PowerPyx Speedrun-Video. I must have accidentaly reload a checkpoint-savegame instead of a manuel savegame a few times... At the end i did it in 5:59:32h, but the trophy didn't unlock -.- (Picture inside spoiler) Spoiler I reloaded an older savegame 2 chapters before the end to save a few minutes. This time i had about 5:56h = still no trophy. After that, i was pissed and did the glitch (playing only to chapter 1 and then choose chapter select -> epilogue). Luckily i have the disc-version...
Popular Post TheFalseDeity
#29 - Bioshock Platinum Trophy Unlocked all trophies Eh not much to say regarding the game itself. Not a bad game but not really for me and the "unbelievable twist!" didnt do much for me. Will be fine with playing the other two at some point all the same. Easy and relatively quick plat though. Unsure if there was a timer but id say about 25 hours at the very most if you go for it in one run.
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#211 - The Town of Light This game is a walking sim and contrary to apparently popular belief, not a horror game. It just tells a disturbing story based on true events. Even though the story is interesting, the game itself lacks polish. There's a lot of texture popping, occasional short freezes because the game can't keep up with the mere action of walking and loading the game takes several minutes. It's a bit of a shame, as it could've been a better game. Enjoyment: 6 Difficulty: 2
Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
#57 - Star Wars battlefront (2015) platinum trophy - 2.66% Ultra rare (my 5th rarest :D) WELL HOLY DAMN I THINK I OUTDID MYSELF FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR. Now I'm one for having awesome rare platinums every now and again and really, since 2015, I'd say Overwatch is the only example of an amazing platinum I've gotten, until now. I've finally conquered this she beast, the one that is Star Wars battlefront Difficulty: 9/10 - I'm gonna be real honest about this platinum, there's just some aspects to this platinum that are borderline hair tearing; so hard and tedious that it makes you want to give up and I did a couple of times before going back to it. Not to mention any names but Master, Crush them with one swift stroke (and I can't mention that enough, seriously) , level 50, on the ball and ackbars elite. Seriously I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, Idk why I've even done it but man do I enjoy having it. Enjoyment: 4/10 - Okay so the multiplayer is peng, I love it and I especially love DLC 3 but going for trophies, a lot of it tore down the enjoyment, especially the stupid ones and it made the final push for the level 50 even worse. Then o m g the master requirements just wound me up, some levels are just borderline unfair, they do everything to fuck you over no matter how careful you are BUT I must say the satisfaction beating it at the end is just amazing, I'm so glad I managed to persevere with this. tl;dr this game is too hard for its own good but so worth the time when you get the platinum. On to crash 2 now I suppose
Popular Post Tankor_smash
#250 Trails of Cold Steel This game is fantastic. I've had it on my backlog pile forever, and should have played it much sooner. The characters, the story, the world all of it is great. If you love (or even just like) JRPGs, and haven't played this yet you really should. The guide on the site was an immense help.
Popular Post dmsleight
After only 7 years + 4 months, I 'Act like a mobster, think like a Don': The Godfather II It is my 68th !! It was an ok game. A poor man's gta. IT was fun and has some good elements, but definitely lacking for the genre. If you can find it very cheap I'd recommend it. It took over seven years because I couldnt finish it before moving to china and my brother in law unloaded a few games in my absence. I tried to get the plat before leaving, but gave up when I continually met requirements but didn't get the trophy (found out later completing story mode blocks some trophies). I found this recently for a good deal so I thought I would take it out. Edited September 23, 2017 by dmsleight

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#172 - Wolfenstein: The Old Blood The Old Blood master Collect all trophies The New Order is still my favourite FPS this generation, and The Old Blood is basically just more of that, but on a smaller scale. It was pretty much a given that I was gonna love this one from the start. This takes place before the events of The New Order when the war is still very much in full swing, and it also embraces some of the more supernatural elements of the series, so it feels like a fresh take on things. There's a lot of dark moments of course, but this game's humour was spot on too. This was definitely a worthy addition to the Wolfenstein series and I can't wait to see what MachineGames do with Wolfenstein II. I've already got it pre-ordered.
Popular Post whoadreader
#199 - Tooth and Tail I was probably the second achiever of this plat, missing out on the top spot by less than a day. The game is really fun singleplayer, the missions are quite varied and I found the story and setting quite interesting. Unfortunately some of the harder missions seem completely based on how the rng decides to layout your map, with more difficult layouts being impossible on heroic. I didn't enjoy ranked too much either, the random map generation can lead to it being pretty much one sided and there's a huge benefit to being defensive rather than offensive. The matchmaking also left something to be desired. Despite it's flaws I really enjoyed the game and recommend it to anyone looking for an rts on ps4. #200 - Enter the Gungeon I had this one planned out for a while, as I wanted a roguelike platinum to follow on for Isaac being my 100th platinum. I loved this game, the overall theme and gameplay were enjoyable and it was nice and challenging at points too. Unfortunately I never really felt much motivation to try and finish the game, only attempting the sixth floor when it was required. Frifle's challenges are also stupidly grindy, and I felt like I'd seen most of what the game had to offer as soon as I'd beat the sixth chamber for the first time. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming dlc, and will definitely get it when it's released.
Popular Post Brawler
Platinums # 70/71: Phantoms of Time (Blazblue Chronophantasma) More of the same as far as Blazblue games are concerned. This was where the Highlander mode was introduced and the story became a bit more streamlined for players. Abyss mode had some interesting tweaks to it, though you don't have to play that much for the plat. Challenges weren't too bad and the most trying part of the completion was probably Highlander Assault mode, simply because not all of the characters have an "ideal" way of running it. Overall, it was a simple/enjoyable enough completion. Difficulty: 7/10 (Primarily due to highlander, as said above. May vary for people.) Enjoyment: 8/10
Popular Post Icebrand1270
131. Black & White Bushido 9/23/2017 Got this off a recent Flash Sale for under 6 dollars when it is normally 13. This is good, as I am uncertain I would feel so good paying full price on this one. This game is the dictionary definition of the phrase "Have Controller 2 Will Plat", as you may have heard from friends or in the trophy guide here. There's even a trick to playing a 4-Player local match with 1 controller and getting an easy 3,000 points in single-player challenge mode. This makes most of the trophies easy, although the one with the smoke bomb power-up may take a few tries. This made it just the 5th time I earned a Platinum within an hour of installation. As for the game itself, the style of graphics got on my nerves. i'm glad this game was so quick. Anyway, on to the next one!

Popular Post DamagingRob
#260- The Book of Unwritten Tales 2(PS4) Master of Unwritten Tales You have unlocked all trophies of "The Book of Unwritten Tales 2". Once again, I've Platinumed this really humorous point and click game. It's also one of the longer ones I've played. It's almost like a Telltale game, with its 5 episode format. Except they're longer than those, if you're not skipping dialogue. Fairly easy, but the dice minigame may give you some problems. Thought I might have it on the 2nd attempt, after gaining a 2-0 advantage. Only to have the pirate captain win 3 in a row.. Probably spent more than a half hour after that, before finally winning. :/ But yeah, really good game in the genre. Hope we get a TBoUT3 soon, though, as it ends on a cliffhanger. ? Popular Post GarciaFever
#173 Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven Damn it feels good to post in here again, and with an actual platinum :D. I have never watched the anime, or read the manga, so I don't know what the characters are or anything of the sort. Don't even know if the anime itself is good or not, but I am glad to be done with this game. See, I don't mind having to play the occasional fighting game every once in a blue moon, but what I do not like is having to go for the fucking online bullshit. If I wanted to do online, I would just go back to playing World of Warcraft, or even worse, go back to playing on my Xbox 360. Sure enough, this game has only 3 trophies related to online: complete one battle (win or lose), complete 5 battles (win or lose), and complete 1 battle with 4 players. I was really scared when I had to go for the platinum because I thought that, seeing as there is almost nobody playing online, that I would never get the aforementioned trophies. Thankfully, I managed to find a few random people to help me, and thus I managed to get the platinum. I would really like to thank those individuals that helped me (MrDeedXD, and that's the only name I know. Sorry I couldn't remember everyone else's names). Anyways, the other thing that I don't like about this game is that, in almost every fighting game, you have the option of going into Free Battle, and having to make a match with either 1P vs. COM, 1P vs. 2P, or COM vs. COM. But for some dumbass reason, the developers didn't include the ability make it so that a second player can join in. Instead, you can only go up against a COM, or just watch 2 COMs fighting against each other. Thus it took me a bit longer to clean up the rest of the miscellaneous trophies that I wasn't able to get via Story Mode. Who was the fucking idiot that designed it so that a second player can't join in a fighting game!? Lastly, I almost became the fastest achiever, but because of the online stuff, I managed to get 6th place, which is still pretty awesome. My game time clocked in somewhere between 18-19 hours, which is slightly over half of the time that it states on the game's trophy guide. But then again, I did skip all of the cutscenes in Story Mode. EDIT: oh and what also sucks is that there is no way to track how many Jojolities you've unlocked. What's worse is that you have to unlock 100 of them for a trophy, and they have to be 100 different Jojolities, so having to unlock the same ones over and over again won't count. Popular Post snakebit10
#226 Dying: Reborn I'm a couple days late posting this. It was alright. Lot's and lot's of puzzles. The story was meh to be honest. I wish there was some combat in the game but it wasn't. I could almost guarantee if no one used a guide and tried to solve the puzzles on their own the plat rarity would be a lot lower than what it was.
Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#163: Muramasa Rebirth Another gem from Vanillaware, this time the setting is ancient Japan. The art style and OST are wonderful, especially 0:49-1:47 in the video below. Demon blades slowly corrupt their wielders, which causes them to slaughter anything in their paths. Only people who master the Oboro fighting style seem to retain their sanity. The story follows Kisuke and Momohime, whose stories seem to have nothing in common at first. The controls for both characters are completely identical and I would've preferred it if each of them had a unique ability or move. Now it just seems like a different skin. I do like how it's possible to switch between their campaigns and how swords are shared between them after clearing both story modes. When starting the game it took a bit to get used to the weapon system. Blades can break once their spirit gauge (the weapon's hp bar) reaches 0. Sheathing the weapon and using another one will cause the broken blade to regenerate. When a blade is broken, it's offense is severely reduced and blocking + deflecting isn't possible. Obtaining all endings on Fury mode (where the player only has 1 hp) wasn't as hard as I expected. The game is pretty generous when dying and respawns you at the same area. Some bosses did take over an hour to beat. Especially the final bosses were annoying due to random lightning bolts and falling rocks. After finally beating Kisuke's final boss, a lightning bolt hit me. For a moment there I thought the game would make me fight both forms all over again. Luckily, that didn't happen. After Fury mode the speedrun was a joke. I took my time exploring and fighting and still managed to beat it in 2 hours and 31 minutes.
