Popular Post Lars
#129: Saints Row: The Third (and 100%) Another platinum in this franchise. These are really fun games that take nothing too serious, i like to play them although al of them have something in common. The grind at the end is so unnecessary and takes a lot of fun from the game, it requires you to do many things that are pretty boring and also often in high quantity, with this one it is no different. I mean, 50 hijacks, 50 taunts which are very annoying and many others. Luckily i paid some attention to these during the main game so for me the grind wasn't that bad. But also three mission types with too many missions in my opinion, 36 assassinations, 30 cars you have to steal, and 26 survivals. The problem with these is that the variety lacks a bit in the missions. 10-15 of each would've been enough. Luckily though, the game makes up for all that with a really fun and ridicoulous story and some really insane missions that are cool to play. It has some really cool weapons that are fun to use. Especially the explosive category is really cool, it gets even better later in the game when you can unlock infinite ammo and no reloads. You can also buy upgrades after which you can't take damage anymore. So you turn into an invincible superhuman late in the game which is really cool but also takes a bit of the tension away from the game because you just cannot die anymore. Trophy wise it isn't that difficult, just time consuming. If you want to get some really easy trophies then play the DLC as well, it isn't that amazing but still fun to play through, and they all give 10 trophies within 2 hours. I liked my time with this game, fun gameplay, insane setpieces, story wasn't great but i didn't play the game for the story, this is still one of the few open world titles in which i just went on and created carnage for hours on end without even touching the missions. Popular Post TheFalseDeity
#35 - Persona 5 Legendary Phantom Thief Earn all trophies. My first Persona game and second favorite game for 2017 is finished at last :0 Just a bit too long to require NG+ but ah well. Liked all but Morgana for the main party, all VA's excluding Morgana's and Haru's, and the villain that was out for revenge and recognition. Other little things like the seven deadly sins theme as well but characters tend to be the biggest piece for me. Also a chunk of annoyances though via being forced to sleep early, 2 minute convos acting as 18 hours of your day, never ending spam from teammates about "Do you think we did it?" or "We need to go to the palace!", Morgana in general, and then the whole killing criminals is evil what have we done nonsense always bothers me. A couple other little time wasters also but eh could just put time wasting in general. Hifumi was the one i decided to romance so finding out that she was apparently supposed to be a main party member but instead of literally anyone else(or especially Morgana} they cut her instead was sad. Still a great game desite all that though. Can be played on the lowest difficulty, you can set yourself up to absorb all but 1 decently rare type of damage, and theres a massive exp exploit before the last few dungeons. Ive read that some people struggle with one of the games but thankfully i didnt. At any rate the plat difficulty is pretty much as easy as you want it to be.

I actually completed dishonored 2 recently. All I could i say is, DO NOT PLAY IT FOR THE STORY. Story was literally a rehashed version of the first. But gameplay was its saving grace and for that it was fun. Lol also for my stealth playthrough, there was a seriously broken and op power which pretty much allowed me to sprint through enemy hoards undetected. It was hilarious
Popular Post Kuro-Okami
#50 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3,5/10 Today i was able to obtain my 50th platinum and i chose a special one for me. I was never really a trophy hunter at the beginning and so after buying my PS4 i finished some games without really focusing on getting the plat for these games. With Witcher 3 that changed. I personally think that some of the trophys feel a bit random but the world itself has so much to offer i wanted to collect everything after plenty of time into it. I finished the game on normal and didn't choose to send Keira Metz to Kaer M. at the beginning of the game. So these 3 trophies were the only ones missing. In my opinion this game is a masterpiece. Not because it has the best world i have ever seen, not because of the skill system and not because of the battler itself. But damn these quests. Not only are there hundrets of quests available but they also feel so refreshing. The dialogues are well written and the game is able to take me often by surprise. Sometimes it felt like i have to defeat just a monster in a quest but often there is so much more to it. You can find out motivations for committing a crime, which sometimes let me feel sympathy for a character that seemed to be an ass at the beginning. Sometimes you will be provided with well written dialogues, or even get other quests. My desicions also have consequences. Decide like you do and it might affect a character so he will behave differently. There are so many options how a decision might affect the world. It also felt really rewarding to check out some specific spots. Cause sometimes i was given a quest in some ruins. The music is awesome, the characters are well written... and all this makes this game, at least in my opinion, a masterpiece.

Popular Post monkeydluffy512
#244 Platinum Action Unleashed! This is a pretty fun hack and slash game. Totally enjoyable for what it is, but it gets really repetitive and boring when going after Lilly ranks for the Platinum.
TheActualMeg4cy
#23 - Sly 2 (PS Vita) A rather enjoyable sequel. I had only one issue with the game, being that the 2nd act of the game (Contessa Areas...) are downright boring to play through and made the middle section of the game slow. I was told by several fans of the series over on Reddit that Sly 2 would definitely appeal to me through enjoyment of the 1st game and they were correct. The 2nd game in the series changes up the mission format by offering new layers of missions and of course, the ability to play as the other members of the gang. The only negative aspect of this additional character ability was the constant need to go back to the SH to swap characters, so if you intend on playing through Sly 2, make sure to complete the missions as the other characters before Sly as in most cases, the characters will only have 1/2 missions per chapter whereas Sly will have the majority.
Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #19 - Drive Girls Difficulty Rating 3/10 Enjoyment Rating 6/10 Rare - 13.16% First Achievers - #45 (NA) Fastest Achievers - #13 (NA) Ooh boy, let's talk about Drive Girls. I decided to wait for a few days and calm down before discussing it. I stumbled into GameStop one day, and I like anyone with a brand new Vita I wanted some games. This one in particular stood out to me. It's exclusive to Vita, it's from 2017 and it was at a very low price. The cover and premise made me think it was the only game of it's kind, how could I go wrong? Well, if you tried fusing Senran Kagura with Ridge Racer, you'd get something like Drive Girls. Only to discover it didn't exactly inherit the good traits from the two good games. Drive Girls is about a group of chicks who can transform into sports cars (not really explained how or why). Their world is over taken by mechanical bugs and they must put an end to their existence. This brings the term Cy-Bugs quite literally, which are from Wreck It Ralph. Although these bugs can't multiply, thankfully. But they do have a queen sooo, who the heck knows. The game tries to take itself seriously but does little explaining on how things work. Every campaign mission is more or less the same. Characters have a conversation until the alarm goes off and "Yo, we got bug invasion! Take them out!" Strangely enough, this game was developed by TAMSOFT. The same team responsible for my beautiful Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus, but don't let that fool you. Character models and enviroments don't look anywhere near as impressive as Senran Kagura. This game must of had one heck of a low budget, but I can forgive it more if that's the case. No need to spend millions of dollars just so Kevin Spacey can provide a voice in your game. Still, Drive Girls should of been no more than a simple hack n slash but it even manages to mess that up. The driving sequences are wasted with very little racing missions, which all three played exactly the same on the same track! Levels are repeated constantly and offer no momentum. Even transforming into a car during combat is pointless cause they got LAND MINES all over the field! Your eyes and ears will go crazy from the same desert highway, same pieces of music (even though I love Lancier's overdrive theme ) and the same two bits of dialouge whenever you pick up something! You can't change audio settings in the pause menu, and I wanted to keep the voices on to experience the little to no story. As soon as campaign mode was done, I immediately turned off the voices. The roadmap states the difficulty for achieving the Platinum is 3/10, but I would give this a good 6/10 if you are stuck doing the multiplayer missions by yourself. Nobody plays this game, so you will likely never find another partner to suffer this out with. Looks like most will do it solo. The later half of all multiplayer missions are dreadful, be prepared to get knocked back again, and again, and again, and again. Even though the Platinum is simple, it's not exactly easy. Beat all campaign & multiplayer missions. That should leave you with enough money to buy/trade for the rest of the needed stickers. There is also one very important rule. Overdrive, overdrive, overdrive, OVERDRIVE! Always go into overdrive when you can and always make sure to have enough meter to charge back into overdrive. Healing items help you too, make sure to have them on hand. When you go into overdrive, your ATK/DEF doubles, but there is a Over D sticker set that I strongly recommend once unlocked. It makes overdrive that much more uber. Instead of ATK/DEF going up to 2.0 , it goes 3.5 instead! This is crucial, probably better than the Drive Girls sticker set in my honest opinion. Don't forget to raise your character's stats using L Gear which is pretty well hidden, I made the mistake of not increasing stats until campaign mission 12. Energy Gun lvl.3 is also very beast once unlocked as well. Don't invest in Galaxa either, there is a campaign mission where you can't play as her and you'll regret it if she is the only character you've been increasing stats for. Best to just stick with Lancier to be honest. The game also doesn't tell you that by pressing up on the D-Pad, you can lock onto enemies. As far as I know, you can't block or defend yourself, making the combat that much more frustrating. I recommend staying away from this game period, there are better hack n slashes out there. I'm not the only one to suffer with this title either, I'm sure @LightningCharm feels the same as I do . If you must still play it, I hope my advice and tips reach you If TAMSOFT plans on a sequel (which I doubt) hopefully they can expand upon it by ten and give an experience us Vita players deserve. Popular Post Dr_Mayus
#221-Saints Row: Gat out of Hell A big thanks to @snakebit10 for asking for someone to help with the Co-Op trophy as it got me back into playing one of my favourite series of all time I didn't even realize I had this game on the PS4...it must have been free on Plus one day as I have no recollection of how I got it. That being said I had a great time jumping back into the insanity of the Saints. The thing I love about this series is the humor. Humor in video games is usually done quite poorly (well to be honest most writing in video games is done poorly) but the SR games have always found a way to blend fun humour characters and tie it into the game world so it actually makes sense. What I mean is you don't have one character preaching about how they must do something to bring peace...and then spend the rest of the game slaughtering bad guys...in this game you say you want to punch Satan in the face and that is what you set out to do, everything along the way is just a set up to get Satan mad enough at you so you can achieve your goal of punching him in the face...makes sense Anyways Gat out of Hell is a fun quick romp and if you are a fan of the series...or at the very least a fan of fun you should give it a go
Popular Post snakebit10
#237 Saints Row Gat out of Hell First off I wasn't going to start this if I didn't haven't a co op partner for the 3 hour co op trophy. @Dr_Mayus answered the call. Even though he had already played it on PS3. The 3 hours did not seem like that long. We both were of just doing our own thing and bam, 3 hours was up. I have heard how much of grind it is because honestly you spend ore time doing challenges and what not then you do in the story. I didn't mind one bit. It is what makes SR great. Causing random mayhem and blowing stuff up. I liked it just as much as the others in the series and hope one day thy return to the saints.
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#83 - Undertale "Don't You Have Anything Better to Do?" Collect all other Undertale trophies. Wow. Just, wow. I'd heard this game was brilliant, but I wasn't prepared for just how this game made me feel. Sure, at surface level it's just a (very) simple RPG... but Undertale is SO much more than that. Wonderfully-designed characters, brilliant dialogue, hidden secrets, many (seriously, heaps) of different endings, an emotional music and journey, cute dogs... I don't want to say too much here for risk of spoilers (avoid them at all costs!!), but this game is definitely worth a playthrough. A few quick points you should be aware of before playing: Run a BLIND first playthrough. Seriously, you'll have questions, but DON'T look up any spoilers / answers. The game is so much more rewarding if you just go with what feels... right The platinum trophy is extremely easy (nothing missable, no collectibles, etc.) with no challenge... but be aware of a certain money-hoarding dog DEFINITELY play through this game more than once. Play through once (as I mentioned above) and you'll have the platinum... but it's well worth your time to play Undertale for at least a second time. Again, no spoilers here... but it's a super-rewarding experience So, in summary, Undertale is certainly not a perfect game... but in my eyes, it comes darn close to a masterpiece. I haven't felt this much from a game in months. Just, play it! Popular Post Ala-Arska
Life is Strange (PS3) What If? Unlock all other trophies from Life is StrangeTM It's funny how annoying little things can be. Like not being able to use superscript at all (TM, above). Grrrr I played Life is Strange on PS4 close to two years ago, and couldn't resist delving into it once again. Being cheap and all And it was a good excuse to choose the options I didn't before. I remembered most of the choices from the past, so...kinda like playing a different game. For many LiS gives "the feels" or find it touching. Me, not so much. For many reasons, but mainly 'cause I'm dead inside Nah, it's again the little things (and some big) that piss me off. First comes the animation, or the decrease of it's quality after each episode. The first three Chapters were fine, but in 4 and 5 characters just stopped lip syncing, and facial animations were pretty much creepy and nonexistent. Another aspect that bothered me was the super mushy dialogue. I swear, I haven't seen as cringeworthy lines as these since Final Fantasy X Square Enix is behind both those games (well, Square for FF X), so maybe overacting comes as mandatory there. Or maybe I'm just too old to understand the feelings of girls under their 20's. I am, after all, over 30 and a MAN. Me alpha, me eat raw meat and cave drawings make! If you don't take things as seriously as I sometimes do, Life is Strange can give you "the feels"... Popular Post XX_FTW
Saints Row the Third My first Saints game (minus about 30 mins of SR2 years ago) was weirdly exactly what I'd heard it would be and yet still not what I expected. I enjoyed the story mode even though I'm not quite the target audience for the sometimes juvenile humor. It somehow finds a way to make all the nonsense work -- I suspect it's by sheer unrelenting saturation of ludicrous decisions. Most parodies of a parody doesn't work but Saints absolutely works as a counterpoint to GTA and the like. Oh, I do also have to commend the developers for including six distinct voice actors. Overall: enjoyable but also dispensable. Attempting the plat actually sullied my experience with this game as the grind for the challenges and extra bits was just annoying. It actually has me questioning whether or not I want to bother with acquiring SRIV before the server closure. May get it just for the playthrough and ignore the plat attempt until ready (if ever ready). Orrrr.... I may just suffer through it again for the sake of that chime. Sigh.
Popular Post madbuk
#237 - Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories This game is criminally underrated. People see the card system and skip it without even giving it a try - it's a lot of fun. I'm thankful that the difficulty trophies stack this time, but another 2 playthroughs as each character wouldn't be too terrible when the game is as fun as it is. While you can just abuse Lethal Frame and break the game once you reach level 31 (as Sora, anyway), that doesn't change the fact that the game is approachable in so many different ways, thanks to the deck building mechanic. I also really like the pacing of this one compared to Kingdom Hearts 1, the plot advances after each world instead of KH1 where you'd go multiple worlds without anything happening at all. The Disney worlds were nothing new or interesting and were all retreads, but I didn't really care since they're mostly retreads of the films anyway. Don't let the card system put you off this gem of a game.

Popular Post Leon Castle
#97 DC Universe Online Time: 16 days My first Plat of the year and Last MMO in a long time, I like DC Comics but having to do almost the same missions 6 times was not fun, but that last Hero mission before End Game was worth the three times I had to play, I had to fight him, The Spirit of Vengeance, The Spectre and be him for a little while. My Favorite End Game was Superman`s, It was very cool that I had go into the Hall of Doom alone, Fight two Super Villains alone and Kick Lex Luthor`s ass and then save Superman, My 2nd Favorite End Game was Batman`s, it was in the Batcave. I won`t 100% this game, at least not this year.
Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#24 - Game of Thrones (PS4) Your standard typical TT production... utter crap. I went into this with very little to no knowledge on Game of Thrones (which as a book and TV series, is actually quite good!) so my expectations weren't high at all. Telltale managed to adapt the bleak reality of the TV series but also managed to add their own spin, by making the whole thing boring. I couldn't get invested in any of the characters, the choice(s) presented to me as the player made no sense as the majority of them made you out to be an asshole either way. I would commend Telltale on actually making this game quite medium-long compared to their other titles, but then again... it is quality over quantity and unfortunately, plenty of quantity here as opposed to quality.
Popular Post itachi-destroyer
BioShock PLATINUM TROPHY Collected all other BioShock trophies Difficulty : 3.5/10 Singleplayer Enjoyment : 9/10 That's it, I've accomplish the 100% on the entire BioShock series (PS3) and I enjoyed every moment of it. The first game is probably one of the best game of the last generation and my 2nd favorite FPS of all time (Just behind ... BioShock Infinite ) I remember when the game was released there was a lot of noise about this game and I was like "yeah I don't see why everyone is talking about this game..." but I gave it a try and I felt so stupid after playing it because the game is really awesome and I would even say that the series is a little bit underrated because to me, this game changed the history of gaming and I'm still waiting for a FPS that is as good as the BioShock series. I know I posted not so long ago about Bioshock 2 so I'll try to be as short as I can for this fantastic game. Bioshock was one of the first PS3 game I played but not on my PS3, this is why I wanted BioShock to be one of the last game I play on PS3 because I wanted this nice Platinum Big Daddy in my collection and I had to 100% the entire trilogy to show my love for this series. I did everything in one playthrough and I don't regret it because I really feel like the Survivor mode is the way the game is supposed to be played. The game is really easy if you take some time to elaborate tactics to defeat every Big Daddy you encounter, because if you try to take them face to face you'll likely die in a few seconds or waste all of your ammo and health kits which isn't ideal either. At the start of the game I thought it was going to be really hard because I didn't have a lot of Plasmids and Gene Tonics but the game is really rewarding if you take time to look for the collectibles. (which is why I think doing it in one playthrough makes much more sense because you'll need to find everything anyway so it's better to do it in the hardest difficulty to be more powerful and to not waste your times with multiple playthroughs) After the first few levels, I really felt overpowered it was almost frustrating to almost always have max money, eve, health and ammo but I still had to be careful because even though you become more powerful and you inflict much more damage to enemies, you are not more resistant. The road to platinum isn't perfect though, some trophies are annoying to get and needs you to look for a guide while playing the game to not miss any of the collectibles because if you do, you'll need to start from the beginning if you are playing this on PS3. BioShock 1 is an absolute must have and if you haven't played it yet, I really encourage you to do so (plus the game is available for just 3€99 on the PS Store !). Now let's clear the rest of my PS3 backlog !
