Popular Post DamagingRob
#294- Gravity Rush 2 Ultimate Shifter Collected every trophy. How do you take one of the Vita's most unique and best exclusives, and make it a hundred times better? You make Gravity Rush 2. I'm still blown away by how much larger the game world is. It's simply massive, containing the entire Vita world, a brand new world, and other one-time-visit areas. It's also jam-packed with content. A plethora of side missions, online diversions (until the servers close..), and mines you can visit to collect gems and talismans. Online unlockables don't add a whole lot to the game. A few costumes, gestures, photo items, and an unlimited gravity talisman (this one is kind of nice). But the activities themselves are pretty fun. Taking and reviewing other people's photos, sending and trying to beat challenges that are sent your way, and searching for treasure. The last one I've continued to do, even after earning enough tokens for everything, because they're quick and fun, and you can unlock more decorations for Kat's residence. Finally unlocked something in every category right after earning the Plat. Here's what it looks like: Spoiler Music is great, and Kat has a lovely singing voice. The game looks good, and the gameplay is as fun as ever. Some don't like the stealth parts, but they were few and far between, so I didn't really have any issues with them. @xZoneHunter tried to say you shouldn't binge it, for which he deserves to be slapped. Raven's DLC was nice, but about half as long as I expected based on Zone's estimated completion time. Completed it in less than 3 hours. So yeah, that's about all I have to say about this one. But it's definitely a phenomenal game and a phenomenal series, that everyone should give a try. Spoiler ^Wouldn't have had this outfit, had I played it after the servers closed. So, I'm glad I played it before then. Edited January 15, 2018 by MetalGarurumon
Popular Post Aexuz
Epic Tale of Sorcerers Acquired all trophies. This is a game I started more than 4 years ago on the Vita and I'm still not sure why I never finished at that time. The game is fun and very possible to do it solo but some of the later missions are better to finish in cooperative to avoid frustration. I started from 0 this time around cause I really didn't remember anything about the game and it took around 50 hours to get the platinum. The negative point about this game is how repetitive the bosses and reular enemies designs are. I would have liked to see more variery and not just changing elements. I'm Batman Complete Batman Good Telltale game, better than Game of Thrones but not as good as Tales from the Borderlands.

Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 164 - SEVERED Date of achievement : January, 15, 2018 Enjoyment : 8,0 Difficult: 3,0 Hardest Trophy: Surgical Searching/Detective Severed is a game developed by DrinkBox Games, the same indie studio that brought games such as Tales from Space and Guacamelee!. Severed is a adventure RPG game that uses touch screen for combat and exploration. The game tells the story of Sasha, a one armed warrior wielding a living sword on her journey through a nightmare world in search of her family. Severed is a very Metroidvania styled game, we must explore, collect power ups and gain new abilities to proceed. The game also has a touch based mechanism that allow us to "sever"limbs of the enemies, which we can use to upgrade our abilities. Since the game is one of the few Vita exclusives games (Sony), I was really surprised by the amount of fun I had. The game tells a heartbreaking story while being true to the protagonist struggles. By the end we can definitely witness her acceptance and her grow, leading to a very touching and beautiful message. Very recommended.
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#82 - Wolfenstein: The New Order "Wolfenstein master" Collect all trophies With Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus coming out recently (and getting amazing reviews), I figured it was finally time to get around to the 1st entry in the series. I'd been meaning to play it for a while, but I'm glad I finally picked it up. There are quite a few shortcomings in this game, but it was super fun nonetheless; and not even as difficult as I expected! First off, this game was a blast to play. BJ is just a cool, solid bloke, and while a bit one-note (part of his character design I guess), he has enough interesting interactions with other characters & flashbacks / self-talk that I still found him to be a great protagonist. Other characters were also generally really interesting and varied, and I found myself invested - at least mildly - in all their stories (despite being rather simple). Gunplay - while not the most solid out there - was very fun, and continually developed throughout the story with dual-wielding and fun alternative modes. Enemies weren't the most interesting, nor did they have the best AI, but they did have some different designs which was cool. Stealth was decent, and collectibles felt worthwhile for the most part; some letters and recordings in particular were pretty sobering. Mission design was a mixed bag; some were really cool in idea but poor in execution, while others felt uninspired but ended up being pretty fun. Same with the 'bosses'; wasn't too impressed (even the final boss, while a cool spectacle, was pretty dumb). The perk system was a mostly fun addition; I love having in-game things to chase (lending itself to usage of a large variety of tactics and ideas), but some of these were either out-of-place, too easy or just pointless. Music was excellent, however, and really added to the badass feeling of the game. Wolfenstein was also pretty easy trophy-wise, with the only 'difficult' part playing on Uber difficulty. However, I could count on one hand the number of encounters that I genuinely had trouble with; most others can be stealthed with ease, or simply avoided if you know what you're doing. Simply, git gud if you're having problems If I had to summarise my thoughts about this game, I would say that it's good... but not great. I think of 'Dishonored' - one of my favourite games from last-gen - and how it was so much more memorable, despite being released in 2012. I know it's not really fair to compare games in completely different genres, but that's the feeling I got playing this game. It's not bad at all, but it was just kind of 'meh'. Here's hoping the sequel blows me away! Game rating: 6.5/10 Plat difficulty: 3/10

Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#186 #187 #188 Squareboy vs. Bullies: Arena Edition Vita EU/PS4 EU/PS4 NA versions A fairly simple side scrolling style beat 'em up here. My Vita playthrough and the first PS4 run were fun but it did get repetitive on my third run through the game. The gameplay itself is rather limited but I felt as though the price was fair and reflected the game's pretty short length. I believe the game was originally a free to play on Google Play and IOS. Be warned - there is a slight difficulty spike in Level 13. It's not overly taxing but I found this one a bit more challenging unlike the rest of the game which was a breeze in comparison. So in short, it's a fun but repetitive experience. Thankfully as mentioned it is a short game ?

Popular Post SereneSilent
#22: Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour This game was fun and reminded me of games from 1990. When I was little, I played Duke Nukem games on the PS1, Yes that means I was too young for these sorts of games, and remembered play this a lot. I had the PS1 version of this particular game, which was called Duke Nukem Total Meltdown. I never really played Meltdown until a year ago because I wasn't a fan of a Duke Nukem game being first person shooter. That's right this game is first person shooter but It's great. It's up there with other classic games like Doom, Quake and other 1st person shooter games. Now then I really don't like the meltdown (PS1) version because it had slowdowns, enemies and textures would glitch out constantly and enemies were pushed towards you when they got hit by an explosion. The main reason I brought this game was to play all of this without having any of these issues. Not much to say other than It's a 1st person shooter of Duke Nukem, the king of the 90's (Many would argue but to each their own opinion. I don't really care who's king but I've seen people call Duke this). Duke Nukem the embodiment of adult humor, Maybe... many dislike him because of this, has to save the world from aliens invading our planet Earth. Join him on 5 episodes, 3 from the original Duke Nukem 3D, 1 From the megaton edition and the new 1 from this game. The new episode was made by the same team who developed all 4 episodes. The new episode is where the title makes sense since Duke actually travels around the world to defeat the aliens who invaded earth. Difficulty: 4/10 (New system where you die you can rewind back time, so you can change your fate if you think you messed up) Enjoyment: 9/10

However, the game itself is very enjoyable. It's both sad and amusing at the same time. The combat takes some getting used to. This game was a blast to get the Platinum for. There were a few trophies that were annoying to get, because 75% of the trophies are done against other players. Popular Post Jesaya815
#254 Dishonored Platinum Blades and Dark Corners You have mastered the City of Dunwall and unlocked all Trophies Over the past years, Dishonored definitely became one of my favorite series of all time. I started with Dishonored 2, played the Definitive Edition, then Death of the Outsider, and now the original PS3 version. I don't know if there will be another sequel, but I sure as hell hope so. There is just so much potential in the franchise and this genre in generell. I always preferred the stealth playthroughs more, because it's much more fun to sneak around, steal stuff, and constantly search for new ways through the beautiful city of Dunwall, while completing different objectives. The combination of Ghost/Shadow/Clean Hands/Flesh & Steel/Low Chaos is such a cool extra challenge. It's not necessary to combine everything, but that's another great aspect. The game doesn't force you like so many others. It's always up to the player.
Popular Post Golden Devil Gamer
# 80 - NieR: Automata Final Words Platinum Difficulty Rating: 2.5/10 Game Rating: 9.5/10 It’s actually been a week since I got the platinum for this game, but I’ll post my thoughts now I guess, lol. It’s definitely an outstanding game and possibly one of my all-time favorites. You truly need to play the game three times to see what the game is capable of. The first two playthrough are fairly different from one another, but the plotline remains the same. The third playthrough is a whole new game story-wise. Lol, you don't see the title credits of the game until you start the third playthrough. It's basically the game telling the player that "Everything you played until now was just the prologue. Here's the real game!". During the first two playthroughs, it was a pretty good game. Although the combat is easy and it feels like a button-masher, the action is satisfying enough for me to overlook that. The visual style during the combat makes all the fights feel engaging, even with the lack of difficulty. Plus new gameplay mechanics introduced in the second playthrough added more variety. The storytelling in the first two playthroughs were pretty good. It has an interesting premise of androids vs. robots. It brings up some really nice themes that added more complexity to the game. The story itself wasn’t anything too complex and the plot twists were generally quite predictable… …But the third playthrough, holy shit! Its sense of tension and its overall change in tone makes it a brilliantly well-written part. It was the moment when I truly started caring about the characters and how they change throughout the story. 9S might be one of my favorite characters from this generation, lol. Although it’s not heavy on plot-twists or anything (as I think the heavy doses of foreshadowing really ruins some of the surprises), but it was filled with shocking and tense moments. It was also very uncomforting to play through, since the overall tone was just so bleak and depressing. I also liked some of the side-quests and the themes they bring up. And there’s a lot of side-quests that add more to the world-building in the game. And some of them even foreshadow later events in the game. The ending for Route C/D left me in an emotional wreck, but the true ending was much more happier than I thought it would be, lol. I played the game while switching back and forth between the English and Japanese voice acting. Both were done absolutely brilliantly. 9S’s Japanese and English voice actors are absolutely brilliant during the third playthrough. And the soundtrack in this game is breathtaking. The world-building and atmosphere is also very well done. I even liked how meta the game was at times. The true ending was meta as hell, but it works so well. Ugh, there’s just too many good things to say about this game. Platinum difficulty wise, it’s really easy. It’s a bit time-consuming though, with all of the material grinding necessary to max out all weapons and pods. I tried going for 100% unit data, but gave up at 99%. The Enhanced Linked Sphere (Thorn) just never spawned for me. After two hours of reloading my save file and waiting for it to spawn, I basically gave up. Also, I just feel like linking my five favorite OSTs from the game. If I linked everything OST I liked from the game, then I would need to link the entire soundtrack. Popular Post Ala-Arska
Cat Quest Le Platinum Trophy MEOW! Is there a trophy for completing Mew Game? No? I'm leaving. I think all the cat puns of the world are in this game. Purrfect, just purrfect. Despite sounding cheap and childish (a cat realm with nothing but cat persons and cat this and cat that), Cat Quest is actually good. Gameplay is simple. It's an action adventure played in the overworld map and in dungeons. Melee mashing and a few spells, easy peasy It's similar to DeathSpank games (excellent titles, go play them NOW!), with less pop culture jokes and more...feline anecdotes Leveling up comes fast and almost naturally, so grinding is kept at minimum here. A trophy for getting to lv 999 (instead of 99) would've been cruel. There is some replayability, but not if you're in it for trophies. Mew Game adds challenges to a new game, like only nine lives etc., but I wasn't into that. Story is kind of a dark one, now that I think of it afterwards. Side quests involve some pretty grim stuff too, so it's not all happy-happy-land in there Cat Quest is a catventure (*sigh*) worth plummeting into. Unless you're into dogs, then this just makes you barf
Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #127: Uncharted: Golden Abyss (December 24th, 2017) Difficulty: 5/10 Excitement: 8.5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 25+ Hours Finally got around to Uncharted: Golden Abyss during the holidays last month as I bought the physical version of the game in early 2016. For what it's worth, and to be made by a studio that isn't Naughty Dog, Golden Abyss is probably one of the best Vita exclusives around. The story isn't unlike other Uncharted games, but despite being rather cliché if you watched any Indiana Jones movies and action films it holds up well on it's own. Nathan Drake is on a quest to uncover a lost civilization with an interesting past. With the help of Dante, Marisa Chase and Sully, Nathan Drake inches closer to his destination in the Central American jungles. An evil corrupt self proclaimed general named Guerro is also after the same treasures and artifacts, only he intends to use them to gain power and influence. As the story unfolds, allies and companions aren't as trustworthy as they may seem. Golden Abyss makes excellent use of the Vita touch controls. Cutting down bamboo to uncover treasures and other prizes requires using your finger to make swipes on the screen. These are nothing hard to do. Finding a shiny treasure in the game is picked up by touching the screen with your finger. Various etchings you'll come across that tell and reveal a story in the ancient civilization is rubbing your finger back and forth. Using these touch controls to good use was definitely a good thing, and I sorely wish more Vita games made you do this. Regular controls are easy to get used to. There are no L2/R2 buttons, so aiming and firing a weapon is used by the L1 and R1 buttons respectively. Climbing up obstacles and rocks and such is rather standard like the other Uncharted games, but you can swipe your finger across rails and rock holdings to make Nathan Drake climb them automatically. Climbing up ropes is the same deal. Swiping your finger up on the rope will make Drake climb, but pushing up on the L stick will do the same thing. If you're used to playing Uncharted games on the PS3/PS4 controllers, the control scheme on the Vita is a little different. Pushing down on the D-pad will reload your weapons, so they do take a little getting used to. However it's nothing bad at all, and by the time I started my Crushing playthrough the controls felt natural and comfortable to me. My one gripe with Golden Abyss is the treasures. Unlike Naughty Dog's Uncharted games, which only required you to collect standard treasures and trinkets based on the environment and location, Golden Abyss has treasures and findings grouped into three major categories. Mysteries, Treasure Sets, and Bounties. Mysteries are a series of treasures, photographs, artifacts, etchings, rubbings, maps and clues pertaining to one theme. Treasure Sets are simply treasures mostly confined in one large area, and are separated by the chapters in the game. Earlier chapters have different treasure sets than the treasure sets you'll find later in the game. Bounties are artifacts that can only be obtained by killing enemies. They are completely random, some bounties are common while others are rare. Lots of grinding is involved to get all the bounties, in fact it took me a few hours of killing enemies over and over before I obtained them all. One of the last things I needed for the platinum. Thankfully Golden Abyss is the only game to have bounties. For a handheld game, Uncharted Golden Abyss looks excellent. Even six years later, looking at the environment and simply the characters themselves were delightful to see. Uncharted games have always done a great job in the graphics department, and Golden Abyss is no exception here. Not surprisingly it is the worst simply because the Vita is the weakest of the modern consoles with trophy support. But the game more than makes up for it. I haven't found another game on the Vita that looked better. Bend Studios did a good job with this game, and I look forward to their upcoming game Days Gone. Uncharted Golden Abyss certainly isn't without it's flaws. All of the characters in the story do their job well, but apart from Nathan Drake their screen time is a bit over the place. Marisa Chase is with you with a good portion of the game, then she is absent for several chapters. Sully shines later on in the game but his screentime was a bit limited in this one. Dante and Guerro are absent for a large portion, but both characters do a decent job portraying a proper bad guy. It's a shame that Marisa Chase, Dante and Guerro weren't in other Uncharted games, but that is probably because Bend Studios developed them. Not Naughty Dog. Overall Uncharted Golden Abyss is a game worth buying. The collectibles were rather annoying to get, as I had to resort to Youtube guides to collect most of them. In my mind Golden Abyss is one of the must have games for the Vita. It puts a good amount into what the Vita is capable of producing, and the game itself is enjoyable to play. I think you’re better off trying to plat SF5 first mainly because of the active online scene as a few of the trophies requires playing against other people. Also helps mastering characters and mechanics because each game plays differently. I believe for you to play this game you gotta be invested in the game 100% It does take time. I played on and off for about a year, but I played a lot of online specifically for trophies. If you only “like” it and play casually then I suggest playing it on your non-trophy account if youre the type to be bothered by incomplete trophy lists.
Popular Post LightningVII-
Chain of Memories #12 - Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories First time playing through this game, it sucked when square decided to release the direct sequel to Kingdom Hearts on a handheld console. Probably why so many people were confused with Kingdom Hearts 2 but this game answers all the questions you need leading up to that game. It's a brilliant game in terms of story. There's two stories, Sora's (obviously) and then there is Riku's. It picks up literally straight after the first game and it just gets weird. It's a little confusing to begin with but it makes sense the deeper you get into Castle Oblivion. I love that Sora and Riku just remind me a lot of Naruto and Sasuke's relationship with poor Sakura/Kairi in the middle. Gameplay is a weird one. Instead of your usual fast paced combat you're giving cards which create combos and just plain attacks. It's still fast paced but it's a lot more strategic than the first game. You can run out of cards which makes some enemies tough to fight if you just spam them so it's not the best idea. Gaining enemy cards is probably the biggest chore in this game as the drop rates are pretty poor but just keep going and you'll get them eventually. Riku's story is a lot shorter and simpler. His deck is pre-set so you don't have to figure much out other than spam sleights until you get Dark mode then you're pretty OP. Besides card collecting in Sora's playthrough. Getting Riku to level 99 is the second biggest chore. Just takes a while but it's done now so I'm glad. Onto Kingdom Hearts 2! Enjoyment: Gameplay; 7/10 Story; 10/10 Difficulty: 4/10
