Popular Post slaaack1
#7 Virginia: The Game Decent game. Thats all. Its okay that I bought it but it would have been okay if I didnt. Its interesting, that its story is true (kinda I think) but its overall okayish as I have stated above. Nothing really happend what will be kept in my mind like stuff from Life Is Strange (#6) so if you want an enthralling story you might have to check out some Lets Plays before to see if this game fits for you. The fact that the characters dont speak and theres no conversation at all in this game makes it on the one hand interesting due to feels expressed through facial expressions and music but on the other hand somehow... quiet. You have to do a second run for 1 trophy but thats totally fine. I started to understand some story related facts during my second run. Its an easy plat tho (60%+). I picked it up during sale for 3-4€ so actually I cant say anthing bad. Decent game for a decent price. Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #121 Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash MARVELOUS! Obtained all trophies. This was a pretty fun game. The farming/grind wasn't actually too bad, if you save scum any of it then it drastically reduces the grind needed. If you really want you could cut down on a lot by just saving up enough to upgrade skills all at once, save scum, do the weapons, save scum, then invest all that into characters. But it was fun. I like the co-op, though kind of wish there was just one area to protect instead of three. Particularly since the online matchmaking is terrible. Was only able to get to and win wave 50 one time with a full team with maxed weapons. I do wish they had just ripped off Crimson Sea (2 in particular), which is basically Musou with gun focus (still has swords though) edit; and actual level structure, rather than the base stuff /edit. Would have been a lot more engaging than a story mode that just has you fight in arenas against AI characters and canon fodder enemies here and there. Speaking of levels, I hated the one based on the cooking spinoff. The level layout was super annoying and took so long to find everybody to beat them. Such a pain. Really like how they handheld the cards and upgrades, though there are an insane number of cards so it takes a very long time to start getting 4-5 (even 2-3) star duplicates. So you're stuck with 1exp for a long time until then. I like that they still let you put characters in clothing too. Story was Senran Kagura alright. ;P Edited October 7, 2017 by Elvick_
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#171 Planet of the Eyes This is an excellent indie title. It's a narrative platformer featuring a service robot who has been separated from it's master and finds itself stranded on a mysterious planet. Background story is provided in the form of audio logs scattered throughout the world which have been left behind by a previous survivor. These are interesting to listen to and most of them are directly in your path as you move through the world, so you don't need to worry about missing out on any of them and missing part of his story. I enjoyed the visual style of the game and I have no complaints about the platforming either which is very solid. There are one or two parts I found tricky but for the most part it's simple stuff. The £7.99 price tag is a little steep for the game's short length but at the same it's a fair amount for the enjoyment I got from it. I thought this was an absolutely wonderful game and I enjoyed every second of it ?

Popular Post GravityQueeen
Good evening, fellow hunters! Here comes 4 great indies. And I'm proud for completing all SuperGiant Games masterpieces in a row. # 4 - Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition For someone who grew up playing Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis like me, this 2D metroidvania beatem-up resonates deeply. And it's filled with references from that era, like the bridge with an axe in the Temple of Rain: cross it, touch the axe and the bridge falls down, killing a giant pet boss called Alebrije. In Santa Luchita, for example, there's some posters ilustrating "luchadores", Mario and Luigi muscle versions can be seen in one of those. DrinkBox Studio's game has contemporary references too: at some point in the story you'll hear that one of the antagonists cried listenning to a song from Adele. All these details made me fell in love with the game. I wish I had the limited physical copy to put it in my shelf. # 5 - Bastion Where lies SuperGiant's roots of excellence. Some of you may think I'm overestimating, others will simply agree with that. While, in my opinion, it fades a little bit in comparison with their subsequent games, Bastion is still a solid and fun game. And the hardest, to be honest. When I got this platinum in my first account, it was pretty tough beating the four Who Knows Where trips with all ten idols invoked. This second time was still hard, even if it only took me two tries (very tense matches, by the way). The story didn't do much for me, whereas gameplay and art style was superb. There's a big variety of weapons to choose, drinks to improve Kid's abilities and skills: all of these are game-changers, you can make nice builds. Or, like everybody, just use the Brusher's Pike and the Galleon Mortar, I did it again!, they're too overpowered to be cast aside. The soundtrack isn't the cake cherry, I would say it's the cake itself. # 6 - Transistor Some say it's a hidden gem, I would say it's only a gem, for it's not so hidden and I guess this platinum is very popular among trophy hunters. Last week, Transistor still was my favorite indie game of all time, but since I played Pyre I don't know anymore. Again, the soundtrack is wonderful. Every time I completed the available tests, I would smoke a cigarrete (don't do it ) while listening to The Spine. # 7 - Pyre 8.5 on Metacritic (wich I don't trust, to be honest). A flat 9 on Polygon. And, boys, IGN gave this one a f***** 9.7! Reviews apart, I don't want to initiate a discussion here, each one stick to their reviewers or magazines, whathever... Pyre is amazing. It's beeing a long time since a game touched my heart like this one did. I can not recall. It's all about storytelling, embracing the player in a very well crafted world, it's about characters and the decisions you make: I'm still loving you, Jodariel ? The game is unique and kind of create his own genre: a mixture of RPG, point and click, sports (called rites) smartly replacing ordinary battles. The adventure takes place in the Downside, where people that commited crimes against the Commonwealth, or who didn't fit, are sent to in exile. You are the Reader, someone banished as well by your simple capability to read, because literature is forbidden in the Commonwealth. And as a reader you must read the stars, liderate the Nightwings triumvirate (team) of exiles in order to participate in the rites against other triumvirates, eventually in liberation rites, where the winner triumvirate can return to the Commonwealth their anointed exile in glory, all sins forgiven. It's a must play; the trophy list is fun and easy, although if you pick up this game, I don't think you'll be hunting too much, all your attention will be driven to the narrative, to your beloved characters, to the game itself: how I missed forgetting about trophies and just let it go, dude! Final note: if you are a completionist, as I am, don't worry about the upcoming ps4 free update, already available on Steam (where they added a new achievement), because it won't come with new trophies. If you will, check out this answer to the e-mail I sent to SuperGiant regarding this subject: https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/53278-true-nightwing-update-e-mail-to-supergiant-answered/#comment-1414636 "Mere distance can not separate our spirits" - Pyre Edited October 7, 2017 by GravityQueeen

Popular Post Banana_Sausage47
My last 2 platinums have both been VR titles. #311 - DRIVECLUB VR - Very fun game although the graphics are very blurry and quite staining on the eyes. Level 60 trophy is very tedious. My first VR plat as well! #312 - THE PLAYROOM VR - Fun set of minigames and it's completely free! Most trophies require 2 people but I was able to do all of them myself. I mastered peeking out of the VR headset and looking at the TV as well. Really enjoying VR so far and highly recommend it! Popular Post Nauticus87
#161 - Soundshapes (PS3) That finishes up the trifecta of PS4, Vita and PS3. I decided to check out the 7 day free trial of PS Now. It was pretty profitable, trophy wise: 235 trophies, 13 100% games including this platinum. #162 - Monster Jam: Battlegrounds It was free for PS+ this month. That doesn't give it any excuse to be such a terrible game. It should feel ashamed of itself. Why is there slowdown on the menu screens? Why does the entire game stutter? What exactly is it taking so long to load? Why does it tell me to 'use the left stick to control your car in the air' when the left stick does nothing? #163 - Dokuro At such a cheap price, I wasn't expecting much to be honest, but this was a really great game with an enjoyable art style and puzzles that weren't too unreasonable. That trick for beating chapter 14 without any damage was a godsend, definitely saved a lot of frustration.

Popular Post RavenScythe
#146 - Omega Quintet Platinum Trophy Obtained all trophies. I feel like I've been playing SO4 again with all of these Defeat ### of enemies trophies. There was Fairy Fencer F ADF previously, now Omega Quintet and then there's FFIX which, maybe I'll play next? Or probably not just to take a break from these Defeat ### of enemies trophies. That'll be 30k kills from these 3 games lol. Well SO4 is still double that amount. Anyway Aria best kuudere. Man the soundtrack Complex:CRESCENT is still playing in my head, I've been listening to that for long period of time since I set that as my Live Mode BGM when Voltage Gauge is at level 2. Grinding music. Spoiler Edited October 7, 2017 by RaveNScythE
Popular Post snakebit10
#227 Back to the Future (PS4) Second time playing this. I didn't have any of the problems that a lot of people have mentioned. Other than that no other improvements made that I can tell. It makes me wonder if their was ever intentions for a second season. Last episode had a to be continued at the end.

Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #109 - Deponia (PS4) Nice and easy game that made me chuckle a few times. This is my first Deponia game and was kinda getting into the characters, but because it is fairly short I couldn't get into it as much as I was hoping. I actually liked a lot of the beginning characters more than the ones that you meet towards the end.A good point and click all in all.Game Rating: 7/10Platinum Difficulty: 2/10
Popular Post DamagingRob
Portal 2 Platinum Trophy Collected all other Portal 2 trophies If you don't know what Portal is, it's one of the best puzzle games ever made. And the sequel is even better. Shame we'll likely never get another, as Valve can't count past 2... Unfortunately, the Platinum can be a real pain to get. The online is impossible to connect to, unless you've purchased a Steam copy, or bought a new one with an unused online pass. @cr1s went above and beyond to help me get this one, by figuring out how to use his Steam copy with another account for Professor Portal. And he helped me through the entirety of the co-op, as well. Thanks a ton, man. Really happy to have such a great game in my Platinum collection.
Popular Post backslash240
Ace of Aces Unlock all Trophies. Strike Vector EX. Love it, nice pick up and play game. It handles like the flying transformers in Transformers FOC, so i got used very fast. The grind for pappy 45 is fine, it takes a couple of hours to get to next prestige, so it´s not that time consuming. I recommend it, hope it gets a bigger and better sequel! Anyway October got me some spooky stuff, so gotta keep going!

Popular Post Lars
#121: MXGP 2 Another racing game from Milestone, the same developers as the WRC (until 4) series, and the MotoGP series. And some other random race titles like Ride, and Valentino Rossi: The Game. Their games can all be described in one word: Mediocre. All their games are not amazing, but also not bad, i always enjoy their games when i start, but they often are getting boring at the end. The same with this one, in the beginning it is fun to race on all the new tracks. But after the first season it gets boring really fast, the only fun part is the first lap when you have to overtake other drivers. The worst part of this game is that every track in the season requires 2 races. So one season takes 38 races, or 40, not 100% sure. But then the grind is pretty long. Therefore i liked the WRC game i played a long time ago more because new seasons get you to new locations in new cars that also feel different. In this one the 2 classes feel exactly the same, and there isn't much difference in the tracks either. The platinum is very easy but requires 2 full seasons and all real events, which is a half season if you look at it. One race at every track, although most of them require 2 laps or less. Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10

Popular Post RuNNinG-sCaRe_D
#85 - Resident Evil 7 Biosplattered I love Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3. 4 was not my cup of tea - hated the setting. 5 was still too much action, but i could enjoy it, the way it was. 6 was a big pile of sh!t - it was a pain to play through it. 7 is a good step back to the roots. Finally no super hero-main character! i prefer more the adventure-part of a game, not one wave of enemies after the other. RE7 delivered that, but had some parts in it (ship) which i coulnd't enjoy because of too many enemies. Luckily you can avoid most of them, but still annoying. And one thing i don't like: Supernatural elements in a game like Resident Evil. They explain it, but it's still kind of "supernaturally". I'm no fan of enemies which appear from the nothing. Good game. Hope they'll release RE2 soon
