Popular Post sillyrobo75
Be Greater Collect all Trophies My 2nd platinum, pretty easy one, no trophy was really frustrating to get, no difficulty trophy either. Yeah the open world side content is pretty meh, same old same, the side missions are also pretty forgettable, but swinging around the city and the combat is really fun, and that makes up for it. Also the main story was pretty great. Overall an easier platinum than my 1st one, God of War, since pretty much everything you need to collect is on the map, also nothing here was as challenging as the Valks in GoW. Popular Post Spinosaurus Rex
I've joined the platinum club of Marvel's Spider-Man Although it's not a platinum worth bragging rights, I have to admit it was one of the most pleasant platinums I've ever got. No difficulty specific trophies, no guide-demanding collectibles, no online, no missable shit. Even a little crimes grind in the end didn't feel tedious and repetitive. I still want more of this game and definitely want to tackle NG+ and DLC content. The best game of 2018 in my opinion, even better than RDR2. I didn't think Insomniac is capable of astonishing me so greatly. Edited February 10, 2019 by sashamence
Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#48 - FIFA 15 (PS Vita) 5th of 2019 "Football Legend" "Unlock all other trophies" This is the only FIFA game you will ever see me post about obtaining the platform. For some quick background - I have zero interest in Football (used to play it for fun on a field with friends/family years and years ago). Essentially - I saw someone post their platinum sometime ago on this very thread that got me thinking "oh - probably the easiest FIFA game in the series to obtain it and it's on the Vita too...". Not too long after that post, found it 1 day upon visiting CeX and just decided "why the hell not?". FIFA 15 is the last game in the series to have released on a mobile platform (not counting FUT game apps or the switch version) and it came with zero multiplayer features. Naturally - a bummer to fans of the series but as someone that was competent enough to get by through the career mode and whatever number of games offline - it made for a rather OKish platinum. The trophies overall aren't too bad - it is a FIFA game after-all. You have to score in a number of ways, win games, complete manager modes, earn awards, etc. There is however - 1 trophy in the list that will most definitely deter or at least - potentially scare people off. Tour Bus is a gold trophy in FIFA 15 on the Vita that requires you, the player, to play a match (any mode will do!) on all of the stadiums. It doesn't matter what side, home or away, as long as you finish a match in each stadium. Sounds rather easy, right? Well... it is easy, but very tedious. There are about 45+ stadiums to play through (don't get the point of so many stadiums in a game like this but... sure!), with the lowest possible time being 4 minutes (per half, so 8 in total per game). Not to mention the setting up and loading stuff might add an additional 1-2 minutes - you're looking at 10 minutes per stadium, provided you're keeping the ball in play. Not only that - but you're also having to ensure you're giving the game some kind of activity (could be passing the ball, kicking the ball, shooting the ball) or the game can potentially glitch and not grant you the credit for "playing" that match. If you, like me, decide to randomly pick up this game for the sake of a platinum - ensure you have a list handy and ensure you track it correctly. Difficulty - 4/10 (If you're a complete newbie like me to these kind of games... you might find it slightly confusing at first glance) Enjoyment - 5/10 (Not a fan of Football in general - fun to mess on but grinding out Tour Bus made me anxious and bored)
Popular Post Masamune
The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings Congratulations! You have collected all trophies. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Playtime: 69:21:37 Screenshot: (as usual, just a split second from being a perfect shot...) Spoiler I'm disappointed to say this, but I'm glad the Mysterious trilogy is finally over. Whether it's the story, combat, or the synthesis system, it's all a notch below the other Atelier games. ? I got a lot to complain talk about here, so I'm just going to make a pro/con list. Pros: Story was slightly better than Firis. While you can't add traits to your weapons the normal way (straight from you materials), the add-ons you use for this purpose can be removed & swapped between different weapons. Cons: Characters no longer have an ultimate attack, just some fairly useless combination skills that take forever to charge up (unless you're using multiple things to boost the rate). Same horrible synthesis system (as expected). Not really any good places to farm end-game traits (the process is slow enough to where I didn't even mess with it). An $80 season pass, seriously? It seems like they left out all that stuff just so they could charge extra for it. Characters that should already be available is one thing, but higher tier adventure items & cap increases? Screw that (& no, I didn't buy any of it). The starting size of your basket is horrible, even with the backpack item it's still too small... but you can get a bigger one via DLC. I didn't find much use for the whole battle mix thing, the cap for your anima is so low (something else that can be increased via DLC), a lot of your items will use up half your stash. Previous 2 games were dubbed, but this one wasn't. Subbed games aren't a deal-breaker for me, but they should've at least finished the trilogy before changing to subs only. I can probably think of more, but I'll stop there... Can you tell I didn't really care for it? ? Honestly I'm a bit worried now about how the 4th Arland game is going to be (especially if they try pulling that DLC crap again), after Escha & Logy this series has just been going downhill. Is it Gust that's screwing up, or is it because Koei Tecmo now owns them instead of Nippon Ichi? This is starting to remind me of when Square merged with Enix... ?

Popular Post Janire1911
Assassin's Creed Origins: Earn Them All! (#58) I don't exactly know why, but everything about this game started to really annoy me and I really had to force myself to complete it. This was my second Assassin's Creed game with Odyssey being the first one and I absolutely prefer Odyssey to this one. Maybe it's because Bayek as a character wasn't in my opinion nearly as interesting as Kassandra and the story in Origins was also pretty boring. Also because you have to complete all the locations in Origins for the platinum really diluted the main quest line as I preferred to fully clear an area before moving on to the next one. That made most of the game play just running from one ? to the other. Maybe it would've been better to first complete the story and then concentrate on clearing all the locations.
Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
God of War - PS3 (#175) "Trophy of Zeus" Finally got around to this one and made it one of my milestones. Plan on taking on the others of the series to knock them out before jumping into the most recent one. I did play some of this one back on the PS2, but never managed to get into it or even remember playing an appreciable amount of it. Game itself is great, with amazing cinematics for a PS2 game. The campaign is rather short in amount of time it takes to clear, but it feels like it runs thru so much content. The combo combat system is surprisingly deep and consequential. This becomes evident during the Challenge of the Gods. Now that part of this platinum was rather annoying. I managed to get to the 10th challenge, only for the game to freeze up, forcing me to restart the gauntlet. Challenges 8 and 10 were particularly painful to master.
Popular Post Gamer-Girl-Noire
Platinum #43 spyro the dragon fun 10/10 difficulty 2/10 on land levels 3/10 on flight levels never played them as a kid so this was a fun time. it took me about 9 1/2 hours without using video guides as i found that would take away the fun of exploring levels on you own. i also love how the game says its 120% complete by the time you see its secret ending for getting all the gems and finishing the hidden level.
Popular Post savageamusement
Spyro the dragon I never bothered with The likes of Spyro or Crash Bandicoot back in the day as by the time the PS1 came around I was ready for the likes of Metal Gear Solid and predominantly moved on from platformers. I’ve played Crash since and can honestly say it’s not for me, I bought the Spyro trilogy as it looked fun from a visual upgrade perspective but I did not expect it to be as great as it is. Just a wonderful game through and through which had me smiling and enjoying playing similar to my Mega Drive mascot days (classic Sonic/Mario era) really great game and an easy platinum too. Popular Post Carol
#148 and 8000th trophy Steins;Gate Sky Clad Observer Unlocked all trophies. I love "Steins;Gate". I played it for the first time on my Vita a year ago and I immediately became a fan. I was happy when Sony announced that the PS3 version would be free for PS Plus subscribers, since that would give me the chance to go through this great VN again, something that I wished for a while. I already have "Steins;Gate 0" as my 125th platinum and since I was close to another milestone, I decided to arrange things so that the platinum for my favourite VN unlocked as my 8000th trophy. It's impossible to be indifferent to the beauty and brilliance of this VN. It was great to re-read everything, to see these characters grow again, to re-discover why I love this beautiful story of love and friendship so much and why it deserves a place in my milestones. The people that skipped "Steins;Gate", without reading it, just to earn a quick and easy platinum should be ashamed. This practice makes me sad, although it's not my problem. I read everything twice and twice this story and these characters touched my heart. Trophies are or should be meaningless or, at least, a background worry, when you're in front of a masterpiece, like "Steins;Gate" is.

Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
#20 - Kingdom Hearts III Difficulty - 2/10 Enjoyment - 10/10 This game was very important to me, as I've been waiting like a lot of people since 2006 for it. This series is, and will always be, the best game series I could ever play. It was by no means the best Kingdom Hearts game, and I would take anyone to task on that though it be just my opinion, but it was a true ending inasmuch as could have been expected. My enjoyment is pretty heavily biased by where I was coming from as a fan going into this game but sure enough, it was a 10/10 experience for me. As for difficulty, this was a pitifully easy game. I give it a 2 only because I prefer (normally) not to give 1's or 10's since they are the polar ratings. That being said, there was not a single thing I found challenging in this game which is a shame because historically I could easily point out legitimate challenge present scattered throughout the Kingdom Hearts series, but none was found here. This was a game I played for the story since I knew going into it that the combat was not going to wow me. And the story was better than I thought it was going to be after DDD. They did a very admirable job in cleaning up after themselves since 2012 and I cannot complain relative to that. It may not have been where I expected the story would end up after BBS but for the series it ended up, I was more than satisfied. Glad it was my 20th plat. Popular Post Redgrave
#144: KIWAMI - Yakuza Kiwami In a shocking twist from the usual games that are from the PS2 era, I actually did play this on PS2 when it came out Although at the time I didn't beat it because I didn't know what to do on the final boss. So it was nice to be able to play it again. I wouldn't say it's as good as Yakuza 0 was but it was still a pretty fantastic game all around with the only issues I had were some of the boss fights weren't too great and the soundtrack was kind of lacking in comparison. There was also nothing on the level of Kuze But like I said it's still great and I would definitely recommend it. Although you would probably need the context of Yakuza 0 to understand some of the stuff happening here and some of the stuff they reference. Still, the main obstacles with this Platinum are a couple of the Climax Battles and the car chase on Chapter 9 on Legend difficulty and even then that wasn't really hard but more about how you have to re-do the whole Chapter if you fail it. Everything else more than makes up for these shortcomings though.
