Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#200: KINGDOM HEARTS III Complete Master And here it is, my absolute favorite KH game. This is the pinnacle for me by which all others will be judged. Like what most said, it just came out, so no spoilers. But I know alot of y'all out there were like me and snooped around beforehand, so let me get the few bad out of the way; yes, the game carries on the unfortunate tradition of not being able to gel the plot of the movies in service to the main plot of the game, and this installment has someone of the most blatant examples of it. This entry had some BIG promises to deliver on, but alot of the payoff is underwhelming to say the least. When you hit the Keyblade Graveyard, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. And the ending? *sigh* When you think about it, there was absolutely no way it HAD to end like that. It all happens so fast, and with no buildup and flow, that they could've EASILY done one more small rewrite. It is also surprisingly toothless in terms of difficulty, and while that really was no problem for me, even doing everything on Standard is a breeze, so I can see the concern some would have. But everything else, is spot on and near perfect. Sora moves like a dream across these now huge landscapes and worlds, the combat feels fast and fluid, though there is a bit of floatiness here and there. Your teammates are the best they've ever been, be they your mains, or world specific, everyone pulls their weight, and I really did get a sense of them fighting together. And that carries over to what I consider the game's greatest strength, the series' greatest overcome hurdle, and what jets it to the top of my list; the character interactions. Never has the series conveyed such a sense of humanity than in this game. You've got Disney characters telling off the main villains, characters poking fun at the plot, the game poking fun at ITSELF, and the best back and forth between our heroes ever. It's a good thing Sora, Donald, and Goofy are the main characters, because they stole the show every-time. They ARE the trinity, more than Sora/Riku/Kairi could ever hope to be. So yes, like I said, this is to my the greatest KH game to exist; the 1st one remains the most important, but the 3rd one was everything I could have hoped a game like this could be. it was one of the few preorders I was happy I made, an experience I'm happy I had, and a reminder to myself that yes, whenever the next one comes, I'll be there for it too. Also, PLAT NUMBER 200!! But now, let me mentioned the others I did in the meantime. #199: Super Explorer I had no idea what to make of this one, other than "Oooo, a carrot platinum, I want". And I got it. It was easy. But I can't help but feel like "Meh", because the game itself isn't good. ONCE AGAIN, we have an artisty driven game that thinks being as vague and minimalistic as possible somehow equals deep or thoughtful, when it really is just a reminder that the lack a decent budget. I hate to rag on a game, because I know the devs often do what is only in their power, but there is no sense of effort in trying to actually MEAN something. Oh sure, I get the story just fine, but what was the point of it? What did our protagonists learn from it? What was I supposed to learn from it? It's not so much a story than it is a bunch of stuff that happens. The art style is supposed to emulate a child's imagination, but even that itself isn't even creative; it's like they read a textbook of what kids think is imaginative: bright colors, nonsensical contraptions, cutesy characters, it's just so inoffensive and generic. The same goes for the music, which of course, is comprised of nothing but somber moody tracks throughout the whole game. Well, I'll go ahead and say that at least it ends on a happy note; it could've EASILY gone the TRAJIC route. VITA #198: Tai of New Zealand This one was much better; to summarize, it's a sort of fan mashup between the gameplay of Zelda, and the humor and wit of Earthbound (or so I'm told, as I never actually played Earthbound. Shocking, I know). It reminds me of another game I had on my list before, that I should get around to playing one day. VITA #197: Pic-of-the-Bunch Easy plat. Nothing else to say. VITA #196: Platinum Midnight Same. #195: Everything! Same. Not a bad movie based game, but nothing worth playing, and a pretty lame plat to boot. #194: Platinum SpongeBob An easy plat thats a pain to grind through. This was Spongebob's first foray onto the PS3, and they did not give a shit. Why does THAT disappoint me? Because Spongebob has a long list of creative, unique, quirky console games that tried to standout from the rest. Granted, they weren't all good, but an attempt WAS made. here, just create a generic boring 4-player schmup, slap Spongebob on it, and BOOM! easy cash grab. Well, at least I can say I own every Spongebob platinum in existence for the time being, I guess.

Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#49 - Realm Royale (PS4) 6th of 2019 "Your Royal Eggsellence" "Earn all trophies in the game." Despite the rather obivous rough edges and well - the fact that the player base isn't exactly booming with the fact they have bots for a major of players with only 32 or so (typically) players on a server of 100 - it isn't really that bad of a game. The microtransactions are complete ass, though. Yes - they're purely optional but the majority of player skins would require the player to buy multiple 1000 crown (the currency) packs. Regardless of the transactions - gameplay is mostly solid with the exception of bugs like getting stuck or the worse bug to have occured to me was the inability to shoot, use abilities or heal/armor up towards the end of a game. The developers seem keen to give this game a fighting chance in the suddenly saturated market of BR games but the likely hood of it reaching any level of popularity akeen to Fortnite or Apex Legends is impossible with the current development/decisions being made by the team behind this not so bad game. It could be better - but the developers aren't going to let it get any better. Trophies are relatively simple - with the exception of "Absolute Unit" which requires you to win a squad game with all 4 players still standing. This isn't the worse since you can just revive people at the forge if needs be but... the issue is rather getting all 4 players to actually jump together, stay together and well - work together in fights. I managed to do this after many disconnections from games where people just seperated completely or didn't even jump off the damn aircraft. Highly recommend using the boosting/cooperative sessions feature for this trophy alone. Difficulty - 4/10 (Rather Simple with only 1 tricky trophy that requires competent players) Enjoyment - 7/10 (Surprisingly fun and solid gameplay - though the microtransactions and development "roadmap" seems a bit off as of currently)
Popular Post AustinMichael1
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition Platinum #103: Vesperia Master Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 8/10 (solely because of the amount of time to grind) Time to plat: 175hrs at most So I’ve heard anout how great this game was way back in the day and decided to take a chance and buy it a few weeks ago while waiting for kingdom hearts 3, Jump Force and God Eater 3 to release. This, honestly is one of my top 10 favorite story driven games now. A unique cast of characters, a big world and a great story. Trophy wise, was a VERY grindy journey. The “play for 100hrs is easy but the level 200 trophy along with a few others are very time consuming. Also the amount of missables is insane so it may take more than 3 whole playthroughs if you forget to do anything along the way. Definitely worth checking out. Now to get to work on Jump Force, and then God Eater 3 and finally KH3. Edited February 16, 2019 by AustinMichael1
Popular Post Jelloycat
Platinum #70 - Code Realize - Future Blessings Nice addition to the Code Realize game. I liked all the new stories of the main characters, and the side content was pretty interesting as well. Finished it just in time to start the newest game too.

Popular Post Bumperklever
#86 Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4)KINGDOM HEARTS III Complete MasterDate Achieved: 15 February 2019Rarity: Rare (16-17%)Enjoyment: 8/10 With KH3 finally being released, the wait is over! But honestly I disagree that this is the best KH game. I had fun with it, the game is impressive, especially in a graphical standpoint. There are actual people walking and doing stuff omg! However I got a few gripes with this game that made me love KH2 FM more then this entry. First of all, the worlds are now to big. Which sadly takes away the fast world to world stories of KH2 and takes ages to complete. The problems I have with that is that some worlds are just to generic in this game. Worst case I feel like is Arendelle, do you want to wander around in the snow for like 3 hours. But even Corona feels sluggish and generic enough that even rapunzels cuteness couldn't save it. But hey once you get trough to the end of these worlds, you with an awesome ending, but then you also realize that the past 20 hours was pointless in the greater story... Another gripe is that magic is way to easily abusable and the game is pretty easy in comparison with KH2 on normal. The post game doesn't provide to much challenge as well, since the only secret boss in this game was really easy to beat. The battling post game is pretty lackluster in general for that sake, but that was also the case in KH2 (not final mix version). But where does the game shine, since I butchered the main game to be worse then KH2? Well! Every mini game is well done and provide challenge getting the respective trophies. And then we have cute little chef and his easy/fast cooking minigames, I just love it. And oof the pirates of the caribean world is sick, ship battles, hunting treasure, I love it. But how could I forget the for me best improvement: The gummi ship this time around is more like a RPG system with a sort of open world, which I like way more then the pointAtopointB missions of other KH games. Also Actually felt some happiness after I beated that Swarzgeist with my still semi-working donut ship. Other bosses are roaming and when your fighting them to collect loot, I don't know, it is just well done. I think when final mix rolls out, this game has the potency to be better then KH2 FM, but it missed the mark a tiny bit for me.
Popular Post FinalFan
#75 BlazBlue CentralFiction (PS3+4) -5% PSNP (-1% ALL): Ultra Rare. Around one year ago, I decided to clear the very first BlazBlue (Calamity Trigger), feel free to check the full story on this post I made post-completion. I ended it with Quote Since I kinda enjoyed it, even if I still like Guilty Gear way more, I decided to buy the latest entry in the series: CentralFiction, but not in a hurry to give it a go. My thoughts: This one was obviously more difficult (while not being the most difficult BlazBlue, probably ChronoPhantasma Extend) than Calamity Trigger! It's also why I decided to challenge myself with this one as 75th platinum milestone to shine on my own profile. My biggest fear was the Blue Flamed Challenger, asking you to clear all missions / challenges (series of combo) of any fighter. I know and love Arc System and you need to deal with accurate timing with your inputs to pass challenges. It took me hours to finally beat it with the only character that seems affordable for common people: Susano'o (Youtube video in spoiler tag). Spoiler Then, I knew I could claim this platinum! ? The online trophies were joke, no stupid +100 matches grind, it was quick, even if you have to be patient to get someone for Ranked matches. I reverted my game to 1.00 state to ease the other very challenging Faster! (clearing SpeedStar mode), like I did with other problematic combo. I also discovered they made the opponents way more aggressive on updated game in SpeedStar, hurray to disc / physical copies! It also happened to be my 100th ?% game, double combo! Popular Post DiegoMolinams
#72 - Meow Motors I Am Cat Fun kart racing game. The handling of the cars was great and the drifting felt rewarding, easy platinum also. The only two challenging trophies were the drifting ones but with practice, they get easier. Only has 20 owners and 11 platinum trophy achievers so if you want to be on the first achievers' list I recommend it. After playing this game which was decent I'm even more hyped for the Crash Team Racing remake

Popular Post TheFalseDeity
#52 - The Order 1886 The Grail Collect all Trophies Decent game overall. Could do without the instadeath stealth nonsense and faster movement but those are the only real negative to me. Would definitely get a sequel if it got one. One of the more well known easy plats id imagine so should go without saying that its easy. Didnt know it was so quick though and it is now my quickest plat so thats neat.
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#344 - Call of Duty: Advamced Warfare Even though there are a ton of cutscenes it is a lot of fun. Mainly it's down to all the tech gimmick stuff in this game, with the jump boots, exo suits and so on. I'm one of those people who play COD games for the campaign, that's where I get my enjoyment out of. This not having mandatory MP stuff attached to it, makes it better than any other COD by default. Exo Survival was a bit of a pain to do solo. Especially without glitches the flip flop trophy sucks to get done, but I got it on my 3rd try in the end. Grinding the matches also was annoying to unlock the riot map. Veteran is overall easier than in other COD games, mainly due ti the checkpoints being more generous.
