Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
#100 - Catherine Full Body (JA) フルボディで乾杯を 8.87% I've finally done it. I've finally finally done it. 100, catherine again. Just, I can rest. I've been putting off trophy hunting all year because I wanted this moment. I wanted this as 100 and I am not kidding I can't read Kanji, I can't even translate kanji as google translate is naff. enjoyment 10/10 - I love this game, I love this game. I love everything about this game. I'll do it again if I can (australian edition?) Like honestly man if you've not played it go play it. And I still think I could give pros a run for their money on babel times. difficulty: 4/10 - So the game, as difficult as it is for others isn't that bad, least I knew what I was getting into. babel and rapunzel done quite swiftly, kinda had to remember the remix mode a little but nothing out of the ordinary. My main difficulty was translating but I figured basic conversation patters by the end of it and kinda got there by trial and error. I'd not recommend it to someone without patience though... So anyway that's it. 100, catherine done for the fourth time. Whew go me.

Popular Post Hanzoadam
#400 The last of Us 2 Every Last One of Them Collect all trophies PSN 2.3% PSNProfiles 26.24% Difficulty 2/10 Enjoyment 8/10 Hit platinum 400!!! I really enjoyed the game, was an easy platinum complete the game while collecting everything, then half a play through to max out all weapons and stats. Game thoughts *Spoilers* Spoiler To start off honestly I didn't like Ellie's game too much to be honest, (not game play wise , that was perfect), but I think it ruined her character from the first. Yes what happens with Joel is nasty, but the game kinda justifies that he gets what hes got coming to it when you think about it. He's killed a lot of innocent people just to protected Ellie and in the first game that's fine. The first game does not really show any effects of his actions or who he killed. Personally I felt Joels death scene was a bit much, and kind of puts you on the back foot for Abby. But I just felt Ellies game story wise was a bit weak, but the gameplay made up for it. I think game has you then play as Ellie in Rampage mode, and you then get to see the effects of her actions as Abby and it swings it again. I actually really liked Abby, I feel she lost a lot more than Ellie we just feel a lot more close to it on Ellies side because of the first game.= ties us so closely to Ellie and Joel. I actually really liked Abby thought she was a lot more justified and righteous than Ellie (Minus how she killed Joel), But I felt the game should have ended when you beat Ellie as Abby and walk away. Or the Farm scene afterwards. We didn't need the last 2 hours or so of the game, with the slavers and Ellie trying to get to Abby. I felt it kind of ruined it. The last fight wasn't great either, many times I thought to myself I wish Ellie would lose. I mean that's just my opinion and I know other will have different but whats the fun if we all had the same opinion.
Popular Post erwint0920
#41 Color Guardians Legendary Win all trophies in the game! (Amazing screenshot I know) So, I started this game in january 2017 completed the up until the final boss. Couldn't beat it and switched to other games and didn't think of the game until I saw it in my libary last week. The game was fun which isn't something I say often. All the trophies are pretty easy didn't have problems with any except the clear the final krogma level without dying which to quite some tries. But then the game decided to help me, because I threw a bomb to him all his shields were still there but the bomb went straight threw. So thank you game!
Popular Post cr1s
#466 - Need For Speed Heat The Need For Speed Collect all trophies Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Another NFS completion in the bag. This one was mostly good. I liked the open world, neon visuals, vehicle selection, and extensive customization. Cars feel pretty good overall. Story was meh, as is usually the case. My biggest complaint is the soundtrack, which is the worst I've heard in a NFS game. The same several annoying tracks repeating over and over in Free Roam made it stale barely an hour into it, and it quickly got to the point where I had to mute it because it started getting on my nerves. The trophy list is straightforward and has you complete the main story and side missions, get all collectibles and 3-star all activities, go for a bunch of miscellaneous trophies, as well as play some MP. It takes some time but is pretty easy overall. All in all, another decent game on EA Access. My next platinum will be Payback as I've been playing it lately and am almost done with it.

Popular Post AK-1138
Platinums 528 to 530: Difficulty: 2.5/10 Playtime: 20-30 minutes Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Randomly generated, slightly bullet hellish shooter in a decidedly Lysergic Section of Deep space. Pretty much what you want and expect out of something like this; a quick and fun enough little time, it's relatively easy but requires you to keep your head in the game at all time, especially since you could screwed by random stuff happening at any time. Since you are at the mercy of the Random Number Gods--infinitely scarier than Cthulhu when at their worst--no two journeys are same, sometimes for better sometimes for worse. Trying to go for a spot on the PSNP leaderboards will always leave you at the mercy of luck, and as you can see by my times, it did not particularly favour me. They might know something about how the levels are generated that I don't; I got screwed by labyrinths appearing instead of bosses at the end of a stage at least once on every version; this will cost you precious minutes. Relatively engaging for such a short game regardless, and especially fun if you're lucky with your powerups. The unintentionally(?) janky voice acting is somewhat charming. Not the most ambitious or original game in the world, but there are worse times to be had chasing easy trophies... and I should know, I've had them.

Popular Post Neef-GT5
#30 – NieR: Automata Difficulty – 5/10 (the legit way) Difficulty – 3/10 (using the infamous in-game trophy shop) Enjoyment – Through the roof You have to play this game. You have to play this game for its story. Rare are the games to offer such a mirror of our society to glance at, with such depth in the plot and narration, and it’s impossible not to get sometimes lost in thoughts about these machines, becoming more human than humans while fighting an endless war that was never theirs. The story is told via several chapters that can be played through the eyes of different protagonists, so you only get to grasp the full extent of it only after reaching the different endings, and is served by many dialogs between NPCs, archives to uncover and side quests that will add pieces of information to the bigger picture, which truly is a picture to remember. You have to play this game for its soundtrack, simply awesome. This is no coincidence that music is the most praised aspects of this game, as it’s both utterly magnificent and always incredibly fit to the gameplay. There’s a mix of orchestral moves, vocals and electronic sounds that manages to turn any exploration phase or side quest into a memorable moment, and I often found myself marveled as of how a track has suddenly triggered from an in-game dialog – “Become as gods!” – to lead you through a fight in a surreal auditive experience. Anyone who has been through the incredible Simone-the-Opera-singer boss fight will understand what I mean… You have to play this game for its gameplay, precise and nervous. You can feel Platinum games being at work here, proposing an incredible variety of sequences – sword fights, shooter, exploration – with incredible transitions of perspective, from 3D to 2D, from side scrolling to helicopter view. Moreover the story being split between various protagonists – 2B the fighter, 9S the hacker, and the last one I won’t spoil here – leads you to experience some missions in different ways. You have to play this game even though some scandalmonger are not far from the truth in saying it’s by far the best-looking PS2 game ever released. NieR: Automata won’t definitely be remembered as a technical wonder and even though it provides perfectly fluid animations, Platinum Games will have seemingly focused on the constant 60 fps framerate at the detriment of the all rest, rather unequal. Early-PS3 gen graphics, micro-freezes, clipping or poor texture coexist with finely designed characters and very realistic water effects. Anyway, don’t bother buying a state-of-the-art 4K, HDR screen to play it, your old full HD TV will be just fine. But this games achieved something almost unreal to me: I just didn’t care about this. Developers have managed to create a great atmosphere anyway and the overall experience was so damn good that I never felt annoyed by the look of it – my only concern was to find a way to keep playing, sometimes until unreasonable hours of the night for whoever is supposed to work the next morning. You have to play this game that has broken into my videogaming pantheon, now proudly sitting next to the very best games I have ever experienced in my now 30+ years of electronics entertainment. Oh, and by the way, in case the point is not clear… YOU HAVE TO PLAY THIS GAME!!!!!
Popular Post Conor
#70- GOD OF WAR (PS4) Father and Son Enjoyment: 10/10 Challenge: 4/10 Time: 1 week, 16 hours, 31 minutes (about 40 hours in-game) Rarity: 4.9% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 30.58% Uncommon (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Chooser of the Slain- Defeat the nine Valkyries "The cycle ends here. We must be better than this..." Wow. Where do I begin? I've been a fan of the God of War series since the first game came out on PS2. Over the last while, I have sought out and achieved the platinum trophies of all the games in all their forms on PS3, Vita and PS4 and they range from good (Chains of Olympus, Ascension) to excellent (God of War II, God of War III). At the centre of it all is the one man army and rage incarnate Kratos. As the man literally too angry to die, I have toppled the Greek pantheon and had thousands of mythical beasts meet their gruesome ends using the Blades of Chaos/ Athena/ Exile and various other weapons and magic in order to satiate Kratos' neverending bloodlust. It has always been a blast, but Ascension did bring about a sense of staleness setting in. I wondered how the series would return and in 2018 we got the answer. I watched a friend who got the new games on release and it was glorious. I couldn't wait to try it myself. I pretty much loved every minute of this. The Leviathan Axe is one of the best weapons I've ever wielded in a game, with a very satisfying sense of weight to it whenever I would batter enemies about with it, throwing it and having it return just like Thor's Mjolnir. The visual feedback of the ever so slight slowdown as well as the vibration in my controller whenever Leviathan made contact never got old. Kratos is also very adept at fighting with his fists and shield as well, and there are skill trees for all of those as well. Spoiler And, lest we forget, the Blades of Chaos as well, reintroduced about halfway through the story. I had no idea that Kratos would dig them up and wield them. Beforehand I just thought "Well, they would hardly work with the new camera and combat system anyway. But I was dead wrong, they are magnificent as well. This is not a solo journey this time. Kratos is joined by his son, Boy- nicknamed "Atreus"- as well as some other companions along the way, although Boy is almost constantly by your side. I was worried he may be annoying but in actuality, Boy is a fantastic character and partner in combat and exploration. Being the son of Kratos, he is a badass in a fight using his archery skills but also getting up close and personal when the occasion calls for it. The relationship between Kratos and Boy evolves so organically over the course of the game that you get very invested in it, which in turn gets you very invested in the story. Trading Greek mythology for Norse, Kratos is a fish out of water, although still a god himself, he faces a whole new set of challenges when he draws the attention of yet another pantheon. This time, however, Kratos' quest is not one of revenge or murder, but a labour of love. Although I disagree with the sentiment that he was a two-dimensional character beforehand, I feel that this game truly elevated Kratos into something greater still. You gain another travelling companion about a quarter of the way through, who helps to bring a lot of humour but also information about the world and lore that really helps to immerse the player into this new universe. Although visually I think the game has been surpassed, it's still absolutely gorgeous to look at. It mixes some photorealism and style to produce a very distinct look. If playing on the PS4 Pro you can play at checkerboard 4K or 1080p with improved performance. Although I played on a 4K TV, I chose Performance mode and the game very often hit 60fps, slowing down in larger areas. I actually enjoyed the RPG-like mechanics introduced here, outfitting Kratos and Boy with progressively stronger equipment to boost stats and overall level (I got to Level 9) as well as equip unique new abilities to make the most of Kratos' new arsenal. The game is actually pretty generous with hacksilver and experience points as it progresses, so you need not worry too much about wasting them. There's plenty of room for experimentation with builds and abilities but it is also pretty easy to get a handle on. The gameplay itself feels like a 3D Metroidvania, like how Jedi: Fallen Order played albeit with a little less Soulsborne in the combat. Although linear as far as the main quest is concerned, there are some more open areas and you can explore several optional routes and areas at your leisure as well as a few sidequests- called "Favors"- and optional challenges. Plenty of collectibles too, which weren't too hard to find but I needed a guide for some. What I loved about them was that they weren't collectibles for the sake of it- some contained lore which fleshed out the story and the world around Kratos- and others were sets that you could sell off for a healthy chunk of hacksilver to craft new equipment. You'll need the very best to take on the Valkyries, as well as quick reflexes. I get that it's a fairly straightforward game trophy-wise, but not nearly as easy as the high achievement rate may suggest! Even on easy, the Valkyries can pose quite a challenge! If there was anything I could say I wasn't too fond of, it was the Niflheim portion- totally optional but if you want to get the best gear you have to make a few trips, although once you get a hang of the mechanics and craft some specialised gear, you needn't worry too much about it at all. Overall, I just really loved this game. It could well be my favourite game of the 8th generation out of all that I've played and certainly well deserving of its GOTY status from 2018. I'm very glad to have gotten this as my 70th plat milestone as well as a complete set for the God of War series. I look forward to the sequel! Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #60 - Final Fantasy VII (1997) Difficulty Rating 6/10 (no cheats) Enjoyment Rating 10/10 Uncommon - 25.22% I’ve been procrastinating on this platinum summary for a while now, and I’ve come to the realization that no matter what choice of words I use, I will never be able to do Final Fantasy VII the true justice it deserves. What I can do is try to explain why is it something everyone should experience at least once. It is usually known as that key title that pops into everyone’s head whenever they think of the word “PlayStation.” Maybe you think Crash Bandicoot or Spyro the Dragon whenever that brand name comes to mind. Some later adopters may even think Uncharted. But if you’ve been around long enough to know what has made PlayStation a loved brand and platform ever since the mid 90s, then you’ll know why Final Fantasy VII is the timeless masterpiece that it is. A carefully crafted specimen that even SHINRA themselves would be jealous of. Everything from its dated steampunk aesthetic to its mystical and synthetic soundtrack. It is my belief that Nobuo Uematsu smoked 600 packs of cigarettes and went many sleepless nights when composing this soundtrack ? Every tune captures the essence and vibe of the in-game world so perfectly. If you had the soundtrack on CD and popped it in after playing this game, every event and emotion would instantly come back to you, proving that Final Fantasy VII is an unforgettable journey that lives on in many of our hearts to this day. This is a game I remember liking a lot during my younger days, but was never able to finish. I must of had a scratched disc and thus it was put on the backlog for far too long. Fast forward many years later, I have finally completed Final Fantasy VII in it’s entirety. Better late than never I suppose ? You play as Cloud Strife, a mercenary who joins an eco-terrorist group that is hellbent on saving the dying planet from a giant cooperation known as SHINRA. Eventually, Cloud will soon discover that a figure from his past named Sephiroth is out to wound the planet himself. Together, Cloud and his newfound friends share a common goal and that is to put a stop to Sephiroth’s reign and save the planet. Yes, I probably butchered that pretty badly ? But without spoiling too much, I had to keep it simple. You’ll find that the world building in Final Fantasy VII is pretty fantastic given the technology at the time, so the devs did everything they could with the limited resources they had. But I can promise you that the world and characters will not leave you disappointed. Some may find the low poly models jarring, but I find them charming.. and they help you paint your own perspective on how the characters react and feel. With only text to help you distinguish those emotions, SquareSoft still does a great job fleshing out these characters through spoken dialogue. In a way, your brain helps develop a perspective and outlook of the in-game world all on your own. Final Fantasy VII is what you make it out to be ? A journey of the ages that leads you to the ends of the planet and an encounter with what I believe to be the very best final boss music in any video game ? For a JRPG, Final Fantasy VII can be pretty easy if you over level, but I think most people will find the game to be very well balanced considering its age. Nothing feels too easy or difficult as long as you keep going with the flow. Certain Materia can make the journey even easier if you know which ones to invest your grind time into. When it comes to the optional bosses (which are trophy specific) these can be very brutal depending how you approach them, even at max level. Most people will just use the in-game cheats to overcome them... but that was not an option for me. I told myself at the beginning of this journey that I would not use in-game cheats in order to give Final Fantasy VII the highest form of respect it deserves. I would never be able to forgive myself if I streamlined the adventure in any shape or form. So I spent many extra hours experimenting and leveling different Materia combinations to beat those optional bosses, just as the devs intended. Eventually, I took them down and the feeling of satisfaction was overwhelming. Final Fantasy VII helped me remember the great part about being a gamer. Overcoming challenges that you didn’t think you were capable of doing. This glorious game has reawakened my beastly spirit and currently holds my most personal favorite platinum journey for the year 2020! I will look into playing Final Fantasy VII Remake soon enough, but somehow I doubt it will capture the magic of the original... we will see though ^^ Special shoutout to @Redgrave for answering all the questions I had during the course of this fantastic adventure ? Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#149 Mass Effect And here we are with the first chapter of the Mass effect series and you know what? I had never played it until now. I bought, in fact, my first ps3 in 2011 and at that time I wasn't into trophy hunting and plus ME 1 wasn't an available title for Ps3. But I played Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. And maybe that was my issue while I was playing with ME 1: I really loved them both, even that rushed crappy ending on ME3 (that has on the other side an amazing cooperative multiplayer mode). What can i say about the game? Well, there were definitely 2 things that I liked: the first one is the story. At least I know where it all started and the second thing I liked is the fact that the game is a RPG. But unfortunately (for me) there are also things that I liked less and/or didn't like at all. The worst thing about ME1 is no doubt the trophy list: completing the game 3 times (following a guide, otherwise God knows how many times), at 3 different difficulty levels and in each playthrough completing 75% (at least) of the side quests is too much even for a patient guy like me. One of the worst trophy list I've seen in a long time. Allies A.I. is often pretty crappy. "Hey guys, I think that wall has infinite HP -_-" Then I didn't like the fact that every time there was a QTE when I wanted to open a container or a safe (really EA? What the fuck did you think when you were programming the game?). And halfway I put the combat system. I followed one of the guides and that one recommended to play as an engineer. Well, having only the pistol as a "trained" weapon wasn't fun at all. But later I played as an adept and I also had trained rifles and I liked it. But again, in my opinion the problem is that I started the series with ME 2 and ME3 which are completely other games. In any case, ME1 is valid. Popular Post Ya_Boy_James
#31 - FAR CRY 5 We Always Had Faith In You Obtain all the trophies This is my third platinum in the series having started with Far Cry 3 and the formula of surviving nature's beasts and environments, building your arsenal, and liberating regions still remains fresh to me. I'll admit, something made me apprehensive about Far Cry 5 and I did not purchase it until I was looking for another co-op campaign to play with a friend. This game was a great co-op play and the ability to complete a campaign together while progressing separate characters is too rare. I also liked the unconventional end scenarios - you don't always win in life. I thought the Seed family were a little shallow as villains, less so with The Father, but Pagan Min's region-leading cronies were entirely forgettable to me so I appreciate the effort to give more faces to the enemy here. Also, unique minor characters that offer side quests litter the map and add a lot of personality. These characters, and of course the vicious wildlife, made Hope County feel vibrant even when I preferred the exotic theming of Far Cry 3 & 4. I look forward to taking down Los Pollos Hermanos in Far Cry 6 and am sure I won't be waiting long after release again!
Popular Post jorgecarpio91
Platinum #41: The Last of Us 2 Took my time with this one, did a fist playthrough with no spoilers, no guide, no nothing, then went back and did a playthough of the first game, and finally did a second playthrough on The Last of Us 2 with a collectible guide and finishing the upgrades on new game plus. The road to platinum is really really easy, it takes only 2 playthroughs and difficulty isn´t a factor (I played both on normal but I know that surivival difficulty is the ultimate Last of Us experience). Gameplay is way better now compared to the first one, I´m excited for factions (multiplayer) when it releases. And I know I´m in the minority but I really liked the story, although it definitely has a pacing problem, the first one is more cohesive. This game definitely doesn´t deserve the 0/10 reviews, it has problems but it´s a great gaming experience.

Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #119 - Broken Age 3.3, 5.87% Rarity Difficulty - 2.5/10, Time Spent - ~12 Hours , Enjoyment 6/10 Broken Age tells the stories of Vella, a young girl whose destiny it is to be sacrificed to a monster, and Shay, a young boy who commands a spaceship. The two characters' fates intertwine unexpectedly. Broken Age is essentially a point-and-click type game with some very basic puzzles. You pick up various objects and use them with the scenery or with other objects to complete very basic sequences to move on in the world. The puzzles mainly involve knowing how to connect wires in a specific order... which is pretty much impossible to know how to do correctly without a guide to explain what's going on (and unfortunately the guide here on PSNP has broken image links... though the guide on PST explains things well enough). The two characters are kind of fun. They both have unique personalities that come through very well during the really weird story. I enjoyed that for sure. The story, however, was a little bit too off-the-wall for me... and a little discordant. You basically won't understand what's going on unless you exhaust all dialogue options with all characters you come across, and even then the story only holds together by a thread. Most of the trophies are pretty easy. They are mostly for executing certain parts of the point-and-click perfectly or getting the dialogue to reach a certain point. There is one trophy that requires you to speedrun the story, however.... and this wasn't terribly fun; this game hinges largely on the dialogue and having a trophy that forces you to skip all dialogue isn't quite fun.... but it wasn't super difficult to finish the story in under an hour... I messed up in a couple places and still managed to do it with about a minute left. Overall, not a hard platinum despite that it's almost ultra-rare.
