Popular Post sunnydaleAlumni
The Complex Platinum Trophy...Acquire All Trophies Enjoyed this one! The story is not overly complex but is very engaging. Being able to pause on choices & skip scenes after first playthrough was helpful. Not a huge fan of the live action games but might try more after playing this. Popular Post preciseRNG
#8 Sly 2: Band of Thieves Unlikely Bandit I thought I'd do the third Sly game after this but I can't force myself to atm. The first Sly was quite repetetive and I see the improvements they tried to implement in the second game. But the missions you do are quite the same all the time and get boring quite fast imo. I'm also not a huge fan of always backtracking to your hideout just to change character. The story was OK not more not less. Most annoying things are the enemy AI, enemy designs, especially the flashlight-ones and the biggest enemy: Camera angle. For now I stop the series and switch to something else, maybe coming back another time...
Popular Post cr1s
#467 (+ 100%) - Need For Speed Payback The Ultimate Payback Collect all trophies Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 I enjoyed this one more than Heat. It has a similar gameplay and interface, but Payback does a few things better. The story is a little more exciting, the soundtrack has better tracks and more variety, and the locale is nicer to drive in with wider spaces and a great mixture of offroad and onroad sections. On that note, I thought the Speedcross DLC suited the game, and I liked it even if it's a bit expensive for how short it is. The performance customization here was initially a little weird and confusing, and I preferred Heat's more numerous and traditional options. The dynamic day/night cycle was pretty neat. Sure, cop chases are no more once you're done with the story, but I didn't mind that too much. There was lots of fun to be had here regardless and I enjoyed most of my time with it. As for the trophy list, Payback is another fairly easy NFS platinum, and it was slighter harder than Heat's due to the drifting activities here. I found them easy in Heat, but in Payback I initially struggled to find the right vehicle for them. After some tuning and trial and error, an almost fully-upgraded Nissan Fairlady 240ZG did the trick for me. The Roaming Racers were very easy to beat, especially with a fully upgraded car. To make things even easier, if you bump their car at the right angle (best to do at the start), it will turn around and just stay in place for several seconds before turning back and going through the laid-out track, thus allowing you to nab EZPZ wins. On to another EA Access game! Edited July 19, 2020 by cr1s

Popular Post Cal
God of War Chains of Olympus 4 God of War games platinum 3 to go! This was my first time playing as I had never owned a PSP and I enjoyed playing it, was a pretty simple platinum to get some of the enemies I found to be a tad annoying to fight rather then actually challenging, Challenge of Hades was pretty easy as well except challenge 2 I must of failed that one 30 times at least, and I like how the story ties into with the first God of War game. Fun and short game recommend it if your looking for a quick game to platinum, now if you will excuse me I am gonna go make Ghost of Tsushima my 40th platinum! Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #64 - √Letter (EU) (Vita version) √Letter - You got all the trophies! 1,869 Owners - 1,055 Achievers for a percentage of 56.45% (average completion; 62.66%) Enjoyment; 7/10 Difficulty; 1/10 Trophies; 5/10 (Nice tiles, generic names, all but one story-related) Increase in desire to visit Japan; 100% Full review in my Trophy checklist (contains spoilers for first five minutes of gameplay) If you're not much into anime games / visual novels, you might only know √Letter as that one game that has a stack of ten (JP, KR, HK, EU, and NA, times two for PS4 and Vita). If you are, however, a connoisseur of Japanese, you might know √Letter as a visual novel set in the Western Japanese city of Matsue, Shimane Prefecture. You play as *insert your own name here*/Takayuki, a man about to jet off to university when he finds an unopened letter from the penpal he corresponded with 15 years ago. Opening the envelop, he finds her confession to a murder. Bewildered, he sets off to Shimane to find the girl and uncover the truth behind this sudden revelation. Gameplay is your typical read this, go here, find that item, go there, talk to this person, and so on - across about eight to twelve hours of reading that involve five different endings and plenty of lovely CG art. The real star of the show is the setting, Matsue, which is where the president of developer Kadogawa Games grew up. The devs worked with the regional tourism board and various local businesses to faithfully recreate the scenic sites of the city, including Matsue Castle and Lake Shinji. Some businesses that actually exist IRL are also featured, to the point where you can use Google Maps to find the IRL versions of the places you visit in game. In many ways, you're engaging in virtual tourism that is not entirely dissimilar from what you get to experience in Yakuza (I LOVE YAKUZA) games, albeit simplified as this is a visual novel, not a 3D sandbox. The story is pretty decent, I quite liked the Golden ending even if the overall journey features a fair few Japanese tropes that might be grating for some, and I do recommend anyone with a Vita picks this game up if they get the chance. On PS4, you may well have other, better games to play. The Platinum experience is good if a little repetitive, as you have to fully replay chapters eight and nine four times after your initial run to collect all the endings. Difficulty is, of course, a 1 out of 10 as is custom with visual novels. As long as you can read and have, at the very least, the reaction speed of an 80 year old (for some light DanganRonpa-esque questioning), you'll have no trouble clearing √Letter. The most annoying Trophy is also the only one that isn't completely story-related, involving a side quest to find the IRL mascot of Shimane, Shimanekko. This involves you visit the right locations at the right times and is a little cumbersome with how much you have to navigate around, but more an annoyance than an obstacle. Finding this rascal of a mascot nets you Found SHIMANEKKO. which joins five other Golds, ten Silvers, ten Bronzes, and a Platinum to round out the Trophy list. Although I have since read the story start to finish with the Golden end, for my initial run I challenged myself by speedrunning the whole thing to see if I could crack the top time. I didn't quite get there in the end despite a near perfect run (I imagine #s 1 and 2 played on PSTV or otherwise found a way to reduce load times), but I'm still very proud of my current third spot on the leaderboard. Not the global third time, of course, because as I mentioned there are another nine stacks. I appreciate that I am biased, but I consider this game a cut above the typical Ratalaika fare despite the easy Plat. For one, because this is a visual novel and their Plats are simple by virtue of how this genre plays/reads, and for two, because you can really tell he devs poured their hearts and souls into the game and their virtual rendition of Shimane, with the Platinum expecting you to experience 99% of the content the game has to offer before forking the final Trophy over. Just because I'm a tit and decided to speedrun it doesn't make this any less of a worthwhile title that begs to be enjoyed. If you come across a copy, give it a try, please Edited July 16, 2020 by Golem25

kaluna1
Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st]. God bless no online trophies in fighting games, if there were some I'm not sure I'd even be able to get a match these days, much less win vs all the old timers. Can't imagine there are too many people who just started the game like me also playing online. The game had a very interesting story, both in the prologue VN section and the characters individual arcade modes, I enjoyed it more than I was expecting to.

Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#53 - Far Cry 3: Classic Edition Mastered the Jungle "Obtain all the Trophies." I haven't got much to say about this title. Far Cry 3 was one of the best entries to the series by far considering how much of a step-up it was from the previous entry (Far Cry 2) being somewhat of a tedious mess as opposed to the fun that Far Cry 3 thankfully was. This version of the game however has got to be one of the worst ports in history by far. It runs at SUB (yes, sub... not even locked!) 30FPS during the game at certain parts that aren't even that intensive, alongside the fact that certain thing like audio for both guns and environment is rather dodgy and broken (Shooting the AK-47 and most other weapons sounds speed up and unfinished...). The worst part however is the fact that despite all of this, even with a patch to fix the issue, the game has a serious problem with input delay. There is a signifcant noticeable delay in turning and movement which made some of the radio tower climbing difficult. The visuals aren't even improved all that much either, really. It's pretty much copy and paste for the most part. They should or rather could have made the title run at 60FPS without any doubt if they actually put some more effort into it. It's not all doom and gloom, however. The annoying co-op experience is gone meaning the trophies tied to it are just completely missing, which is a plus. I bought the game for €2.99 on sale and for that price alone - it was worth the replay but anyone who paid full-price for the game and/or got it through their season pass entitlement was definitely ripped off. Difficulty - 3/10 (solely given points just for the fact that the issues tied to input and overall experience is hindered as a result) Enjoyment - 6/10 (it was interesting to experience the game again some years later, that said, it did not age well)
Popular Post Bumperklever
#124 Don't Even Think (PS4) Don't Even Think Date Achieved: 17 July 2020Rarity: Ultra Rare (2-3%)Enjoyment: 6/10 For some reason I enjoy these shitty battle royal games. This game is like any other BR game, though it has the addition of a additional team of 3 members which are werewolves. So. the idea is not really innovative, but it is something to differ from other BR games nevertheless. The problem is the execution, since that was not good! The werewolves (and especially the werecats, these are really hard to kill) are disgustingly overpowered and almost always stayed up until the end. The humans aren't a saint as well, since the drones are stupidly annoying due to the constant stagger and it requires no skill to use. Optimization wise, there is a lot of lag, especially when landed, (the most crucial part you don't want lag). Picking up weapons works really sluggish as well and to up the player amount the devs have included brain dead bots. Conclusion: his is hot garbage. Trophies aren't to bad, though they are a bit grindy and you need to have a bit of luck. Edited July 17, 2020 by Bumperklever

Popular Post Masamune
I'm a Collector Myself Unlock all trophies Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Playtime: 51:20:27 (1 week, 1 day, 3 hours) Screenshot: This had a ton of new features when compared to the first game (most of them good), to the point it almost felt like a different game. However I enjoyed it just as much as the first game, the main difference here though is that there was no Heroic mode that makes you want to crawl into a fetal position & just lose all hope. ? There's so many additions to this game, there's really too many to mention them all, a couple of my favorites though were the improved controls (easier to use skills, double jumping, etc), & the ability to modify your weapons with elemental attributes & other abilities. The story is almost as good as the first, however there seems to be a bit of a gap between the two games that they don't really explain too well (the collision?), & the ending it just a giant cliffhanger that makes you immediately want the 3rd game to be released. ? For the difficulty, you can play your first run on the easiest difficulty there is, then do a NG+ for "No Pain No Gain" (which makes most of it a joke). Mostly all the trophies are pretty easy, there are two that stand out from the others though... the first is for collecting 50 Secrets (collectables), normally this would be a piece of cake for any other game since you could just use a guide for it, however the game's levels are made up from randomly selected areas, meaning even with a guide, it can be a huge pain in the ass tracking 50 of them down (& they may not even spawn on your first visit to an area). Thankfully there are most than 50 in the game, so you can afford to miss a few of them here & there. The second trophy's difficulty really just depends on how much grinding you're willing to do... this if for collecting 10K "Orbs of Masamune" (no relation ). The best way to get these is just by repeatedly clearing Trial missions (which only take 1-2 minutes), only how many Orbs you get depend on the difficulty you're playing on (basic No Pain No Gain gives you 24 per clear), so if you have decent enough abilities you can crank up the Insanity Lv, giving you more Orbs & cutting down your grinding time. The game starts getting pretty brutal after Insanity 3 though, the best I could efficiently farm at was Lv4 (42 Orbs per clear), & I still died more than I wanted to (mainly because of Superior Talons one-shotting me, & too much lava).

Popular Post DoctorGameGeek
#16: The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Difficulty: 6 / 10 Surprisingly, what isn't so difficult in this game is the combat. You can get away with focusing on party members whose arts and crafts have the Impede or Delay properties and spam them well into the second Nightmare playthrough. I tended to look at each member of Class VII and say, oh, okay, you're the glass cannon, you're the debuff, y'all stack offensive magic, etc. That made keeping up a team of nine manageable even when the game arbitrarily decides to shift your party around on field studies. Oh, who am I kidding? With a high-enough level, you will basically run all the way through dungeons, slashing enemies twice to destroy them, and making the strong ones quake in cold sweat. Actually, what's more difficult is simply managing time and being thorough to the point of exhaustive for checking for every single thing you need to do. I'm glaring at you, Social Note-working, for all the times you made me obsessively talk to NPCs I gave not half a damn about in order to fill out their character profiles. Even the hidden quests weren't as aggravating. Don't get me wrong. The story and the degree to which Erebonia is fleshed out is very, very awesome, but it easily crosses over into over-kill territory. Just be prepared to play through the chapters slowly to keep your sanity. Enjoyment: 7 / 10 All that said, I never heard of this series until I saw the precursor games on Twitch. Thanks, @RPGFancom. I would rank this title up there with later-generation Tales games. The combat and character development are more than enough to keep you locked into this game. In fact, I found the game world to be quite expansive even when field studies would arbitrarily cut off how far you could explore a town or even when they prevented backtracking or revisiting locations. I got attached to these cadets, and I can't wait to see what happens to them next. Ugh, that cliffhanger ending.
Popular Post Dzeni
#5: Done Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Okay, umm. Wow. Tbh I'm having a hard time finding the correct words to describe what I'm feeling right now. I highly regret not playing this game earlier. The game left me shock and speechless. This experience was phenomenal, mind-blowing, overwhelming and also disturbing and triggering. From time to time, I had to close my eyes and take a deep breath to kind of process what's happening. I didn't think I would get so immersed into the world and the character, Senua, but I guess it's mostly thanks to playing with headphones, but also the extraordinary acting skills of Melina Jürgens and the amazing work around representing how psychosis looks/feels/sounds like. There were some really disturbing and gross scenes, heavy gore-y images and mind-fking sounds. The voices Senua hears were driving me insane at first, but as the story progresses you kind of get used to it, probably knowing how it's only temporary. With time, you even kind of appreciate them, when they try to motivate you during battles, but then hate them at the same time, when they insult you. Also: The soundtrack is simply amazing! It fits the scenes and the battles SO much. This game easily made it into my top favorite games of all times, and it definitely deserves that spot. This experience will probably haunt me for another while, but I'm thoroughly happy, proud and thankful I was able to play this. It's a game everyone should have played at least once in their life. As conclusion, to quote the narrator: "The hardest battles are fought in the mind, not with the sword." Edited July 18, 2020 by Dzeni
