Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
# 38 - Darksiders Genesis Difficulty - 3/10 Enjoyment - 3/10 This game was kind of a yikes for me. First of all, I couldn't care less about Darksiders. I played this game because I liked Airship Syndicate's other game and wanted to support them further as well as get myself ready for their new game coming out by getting the plat for this one. But man, I did not like this game. At best I could say it was ok, maybe a 4/10, but the movement and the platforming took it to a 3/10. You have to do enough platforming and noodling around to necessitate that Airship made the movement fluid, but they did not succeed. The game play was so basic it can be boiled down to a 20 minute experience that you have for 30 hours. The game's systems are interesting enough for an isometric action RPG but they feel like they make so little a difference to the actual experience of the game that they feel largely unimportant. And the dialogue. Oh my lord how I hated the dialogue. Anyway it was mindless enough and certainly was never difficult for a single moment outside the incidental difficulty that the platforming provided not because of design but because of its flaws. I'm moving on and never giving this game thought again. At least their next game looks to be a clone of Battle Chasers and not this one.

I mean you never know man, I'd look at some videos and see if it looks good to you. It is on sale right now as well so I wouldn't necessarily count it out just based on my opinion but I gave the game its fair dues and came out not having liked it. I trust AS to make good games but maybe I just liked their turn based games at the end of the day.
Popular Post WishingLemon
#22 Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight This took longer than I thought cause I got busy, and maybe a little bit of rhythm game burnout. I prefer the music on this one but I prefer the characters in Persona 3 DiM. The characters in 3 all seemed to have their own stuff going on, but this one just seems to be the harem trope, or very close to it. I've not played P5 yet so I might be wrong about that, I hope so. I also preferred Elizabeth over the twins, but I like how the games cross referenced one another. They both made me look forward to playing their respective games eventually.
Popular Post Yuuria_
#25 - Catherine: Full Body Took forever due to how incredibly challenging the game is but I’m so very happy to finally have this Time to Platinum: 90 hours Difficulty: 8/10 Fun fact: 8/10, the game is generally very fun but there are a couple of bosses with attacks that are purely RNG based and can lead to undeserved deaths. Highly recommended, I’ve never played a puzzle game, or any game, quite like this. Story, music and gameplay are all great
Popular Post bald_merchant
Platinum #263 Assassin's Creed: Valhalla (PS5) Time: 118:43:56 Hours The game is still full of game breaking, trophy related glitches but I got lucky. Be very careful and make manual save files, better yet wait for future patches if you have other games to do. Other than that, I'm a big fan and had lots of fun. My best in the series is still Origins, but Valhalla is not a bad game at all!

Popular Post Trini
#136 - Life Is Strange: Before the Storm When I first played Life Is Strange back in 2016, it impacted me on such an emotional level that it left me flabbergasted long after the credits rolled. The story was beautifully written, and it demonstrates aspects of everyday life that provide an insight into the ups and downs that life can take you through. Having the pleasure of playing Before the Storm (finally) only intensified that emotion on what already is an emotional rollercoaster of a game. When I played the original Life Is Strange, the prequel didn't exist yet, and now having completed it, it left me even more flabbergasted than I was before after learning more about Chloe's story and the people she touched in her life. After getting to know Rachel, her background and her cherished relationship with Chloe only made her death in the original game more heart-breaking than ever ? Ultimately this is what games should be about, fantastic story-telling that captures and prey on your emotions, games that 5-10 years from now you can look back and have fond memories of regardless of the outcome. In time, I hope Life Is Strange 2 brings that same amazing story-telling factor that both Before the Storm and the original game brought. Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #573: Difficulty: 3/10 Playtime: 10-15 hours Enjoyment: 8/10 Right, so it's time to talk about Bugsnax! What is a Bugsnak, you ask? Well, it's not quite a bug, not quite a snack, but mahahahahahahahaaaaannn...! ...So, to answer your question, I don't know. Nevertheless, these tasty-lookin' bug/snack hybrids are the object of the game, as well as the object of desire for Grumpuses, the odd-looking and seemingly invulnerable Muppet-like (don't ask me what a Muppet is... I ain't making that reference twice!) beings what populate Snaktooth Island. Bugsnax just so happen to mutate their bodies into what they've been fed, but they don't care! It's like I said when the first trailer dropped, ain't nothing more next-gen than Australian-accented walrus people with food for hands... which is, of course, why I'm playing it on the PS4. Failure to ascertain one of these goddamn marvels of modern video game engineering has nothing to do with it! So... the gameplay is mostly fun, seeing you identify and capture these abominations of nature with a variety of traps, tools, and condiments with which to lure them. And where state of the art technological advents of Grumpuskind may not, shall we say, avail you, there is always potential for turning Snax against their own kind... wow, you'd think a novel gameplay concept like this could blow up into a worldwide franchise or something. Amazed it ain't happened yet! Still, for all that the proceedings allows for a fair few Eureka moments of clever experimentation, there will be times at which the unfettered sandbox physics will betray you and spoil the fun somewhat. Finding good spots for the tripwire tool can be daunting. And running around on fire again and again can get pretty tiresome. It did help me cheese (no pun intended) a boss one time, but still. Plenty of potential for refinement here; a balance could well have been struck between still allowing for experimentation while giving the player more aid from environs. Where the game really shines is through its surprisingly deep story and characters. Yes, the wacky comedic writing is as sharp as the Grumpuses are cuddly (at least until you turn one into, like, a giant baked potato with carrots for hands or something), but that's only half the story. The multifarious nature of the human experience is made manifest with heart and verve in these little bundles of... something. The inhabitants of Snaxburg are multi-faceted, complex characters with plenty of things to hide (except my boy Chandlo, dawg!), and getting to know them better, warts and all, is a thing of true joy. There's even the odd non-heteronormative romance or two going on, without any hint of tokenism! You know you're onto something when you can make anguished declarations of love resonate even when the person speaking has a potato chip for a nose and a name resembling a Don Martin onomatopoeia. Truly, there is no greater compliment I can give... and we have much to learn from the Grumpuses. Even Beffica! Developers Young Horses display an impressive array of rare and dynamic qualities they should double down on in future, whether through a sequel, or something entirely new, as their potential is vast. Yes, the load times and framerate can be unforgiving, and the objectives HUD is always displayed, to the point of distraction...but Bugsnax comes tantalizingly close to approaching true greatness, and even with some flaws, it's truly a singular experience not to be missed! If something as superlative as this is not among the best PS5 launch titles, I shall be suitably impressed indeed. Give the devs their humble and well-earned recompense, and may you have as a rewarding an expedition to Snaktooth as I! More than a snack, this... a three-course dinner, more like! And I'm already looking forward to a second helping on the PS5...!

Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum 256 Fun: Initially 4/10 then later 7/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Death stranding stars Norman Reedus in a post apocalyptic world where most of humanity in the United States have been driven to a few select cities or held up in their own personal bunkers and almost never leave. The world has gone through a few changes including having to rely on batteries to power vehicles, hologram communication, and rain accelerating the growth rate of whatever it touches which is accompanied by supernatural beings called BTs that can easily cause a void out (think nuclear explosion) if they consume a human. You'll spend most of your time delivering packages from one location to another and get use to it, that's most of the game. You do eventually unlock better means to defend yourself from BTs and other threats called MULES who are essentially cargo thieves that are obsessive with collecting packages. You do have to max out all locations to 5 stars which is mostly easy, you just have to keep delivering to that location. Some people will take longer to max out and you have to jump through a few hoops but keep delivering and they'll eventually max out. The story is just as heavy lore wise as if it was a Metal Gear game which makes sense as the director is Mr Kojima himself. As you go through the story, it opens itself up to more and more information then throws in plot twists here and there all throughout the game. It's not for everyone but for those that are willing to go through a tough start to an enjoyable time, it is enjoyable. Popular Post mangio_tanto
I don't know how to post pictures of a trophy like all of you do. Anyway, mine is "King of Spelunkers" on Spelunker HD. I have to admit, once I understand how this game works and how unforgiving it could be, it is satisfying completing every level and getting every piece of the mural. I think it's the same feeling when playing Dark Souls. I don't think I'll get 100%, this platinum is enough for me. I prefer to spend money on something else, instead of DLC trophies. Special thanks to @Deceptrox for creating a session last week, this gave me the motivation to replay it after two years I bought the game. And also thanks to @Dakthore for helping me with mp trophies (damn regional blocks).

Popular Post DF007gamer
PLATINUM #172 PEGGLE 2 PS4 PLATINUM TROPHY ENJOYMENT - 9/10 PLAT HOURS - 25 HOURS PLAT RARITY - 13.75% PLAT DIFFICULTY 4/10 (without dlc 9/10) I have to say this game took me by total surprise how fun it was. Did not expect me to enjoy it as much as I did. It's a nice palate cleanser from the AAA games. If you want a break from serious stuff you got to try Peggle. I just could not get enough of the in game music when you finished a stage, it's hilarious actually. A word of advice for those who looking for the plat. Buy the DLC and it's cheap anyways. Buying the DLC will make the stage challenges drop the plat difficulty from 9/10 to 4/10 imo. I would have never got this plat without it and I think the plat rarity would have been 1% compare to 13.75%. Anyways guys happy trophy hunting while I go for my COD Cold War camo challenges.

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#333: The Party Never Ends Such a shame, this game. It started out so great, too. A fun art style, wacky character designs, fun and unique spins on party games, different ways to pull ahead and win in the end. I was prepared to state that the only negative thing about this game game was that it was attached to a gimmicky phone app. But then I got to one of the gold trophies Be There AND Be Square and all fun I was having just disappeared. Yep, it's one those trophies that has the power to completely ruin an experience. This trophy tasks with with a obtaining a certain 2-item setup for its minigame. This doesn't seem like an issue at all, but the problem is, this steup is randomly generated, meaning obtaining even ONE of these items could take literal hours, plus you have only a limited number of tries to do as such, the entire time the last item you need could end up going to another character meaning you have try all over again. Then add in the fact that you cannot simply restart the minigame; no, have to back out to the main menu, sign in AGAIN, partake in an annoying and completely unnecessary phone shake gimmick, go through multiple load screens, confirm each character, and THEN try get lucky again. Sorry Frantics, I wanted to love you you, but then you had go and blindside me. If this gold trophy just required a certain number of playthroughs, I would understand that because you want people to play you more, but making me rely entirely on luck? I can't gel with that.
