Popular Post No longer here
#130 - Dead By Daylight (PS5) Fun: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 5-6/10 (skill and luck dependent) Time: Over 300h+ PSNP Rarity: 2.31% PSN: 0.1% THERE IT IS BOYS THAT IS A 0.1% (PSN) AND ULTRA RARE PLATINUM RIGHT THERE! "Brief" explanation of the game: The game is involves 4 survivors (4 players) trying to escape the map from the killer ( 1 player). There will be 8 generators on the map but only 5 are needed to unlock the gate in order to escape and win the match. The killer is responsible for hooking survivors up to three states in order to count it as a "sacrifice", which basically means 1 point or kill for the killer. The killer is also responsible for regressing generators so that no progress is made and that the survivors get no opportunity to escape. The hooks or sacrifices the killer has, the more points added to overall performance. If a survivor escapes, does gens, heals and avoids the killer in chases, then those points are also added to the overall performance at end game. There is a ranking system as well (Ranks start at 20, highest being 1 for both killer and survivor), the better you perform the higher you go up! Also, every killer and survivor have unique powers or perks that alter the game and allows for unpredictability. Hence every game you have is going to be a new experience. But really though, was not expecting to get far with this game since I only got it to play with some friends. I started on the PS4 but since I got the PS5 a week after getting the game, I switched to PS5 version for better graphical and performance upgrades, disregarding the PS4 trophies and what I had left. The more I played the more fun it got with friends and eventually it became the game I played the most because of enjoyment and uniqueness. Honestly there really isn't anything like this, that is why it held my attention. Working with your team to go up against a menacing killer can be nerve racking but extremely fun, you will never know how the game will end. The best part is that there are 20+ killers and survivors which allows for many options for what perks they can use. Every player plays differently and that itself along with the perks they chose allows for unpredictable results. Killers such as Oni, Nurse, Doctor allow the strategic gameplan to change within the survivors so that they find new ways to escape the killer. Depending on the perks or add-ons, survivors or killers must adapt to best playstyle in order to get the best out of their opponents. In my opinion, the game gets its critical appraise and recognition for its unpredictable player base and actions, which means the game is meant for LONGEVITY. With many killers and survivors, there is a lot of progression to take into account. I have more to say about how much I had fun but it would be a long post (already is). Only complaint I have is that in the higher ranks, many survivors and killers begin to abuse the meta perks or add-ons, which can make some games extremely long and torturous or some times unfair. But let's be honest here, this is normal in every online game at some point, so in actuality it might not be a problem because at that point you'll be prepared to take on the challenges these players offer. Overall, the experience is unique and I think everyone should give this game a go with their friends. YES it is not the most graphical and gameplay driven game ever, but man it's an experience with your friends and players you come across for sure! Okay now the trophies, there's over 150+ trophies in this game but you just need the base game for the platinum of course. If you like the game enough to get the DLC, then go for it and get some extra challenging trophies on the way. For the base game however some trophies require to get adept, which means either escape as a survivor with their perks or get a merciless killer as killer with their perks. Compared to the other trophies, these are the hardest trophies to obtained as it is dependent of skill and rank, for my case I was a decent rank when going for these trophies so it was quite a challenge. The other trophies require some natural but also doing tasks as killers and doing gens in certain maps and escaping. Some are progressive such as leveling up to III-50 or sacrificing 500 survivors. Over time, you will get most of this but on average it will take over 150h+ as it takes time to level up killers and survivors, hence is why many of the trophies are RARE or ULTRA RARE. But for me, it took me 300h+ and still going for DLCs as I still really enjoy this game! I'd say go for the platinum if you like or love the game enough to do it. Additionally the DLC is there for more options (new killers, survivors), which can enhance and prolong the experience in DBD. I played the game enough to be a RED RANK 1 in both killer and survivor at some point, so there's that Currently I am 97% of trophies done in Dead by Daylight (PS5), I am going to 100% it ofc and will go for the PS4 trophies as well since it gives me more incentive to play and do these trophies in a different matter. Let me just say: THIS IS THE ONLY GAME I DON'T MIND GETTING PLATINUM AND 100% WITH THE PS4 AND PS5 VERSIONS , since the game and its' matches are so unpredictable, it won't feel like I am doing the same thing all over again, which is amazing! So catch me with my profile trying to 100% both versions! Yes I know this was a long post, but since the game gave me fun memories while also investing hundreds of hours into it, I had to make it this long

Popular Post cr1s
#562 & Trophy #25,000 - Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!! (NA PS3) Threads of Fate Bind Us Together Conquered the beast that is Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!! Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 5/10 That's the first Love Max stack done! I'm also happy to have obtained the platinum as my 25,000th trophy. The platinum difficulty almost entirely boils down to two things: defeating Parace L'Sia (Gold Trial 10) and clearing Time Attack within 10 minutes. The thing about both is that they're largely luck-dependent when using Angelia as per PST.org's trophy guide. The former took me 30 minutes and I got the latter done on my first try with 21 seconds to spare; however, this is only the first stack, and I may not be as lucky when going for the other stacks. I do plan to go for all the stacks - all in due time, hopefully. The only other tricky thing is successfully clearing Gold Trial 3, which tasks you with using 13 different moves in a single combo. Time Arcana makes things easier as it freezes the opponent for a short time, but you still need to be swift with your combo. That said, the rest of the trials were surprisingly easy. That's it, though. Those are the only things that are likely to prove troublesome, especially if you're not lucky with the first two. Everything else is easy, albeit very time-consuming with all the grinding that you have to do for the platinum. As for the game itself, let's just say that Arcana Heart has quickly become one of my top favorite fighting game series (up there with Guilty Gear and BlazBlue - The Holy Trinity, as I like to call it). Its diverse/cute cast, great soundtrack, colorful art style, and fun gameplay are the main highlights of the series in general. The lack of a Trial Select/Restart feature in Love Max bothers me a little (especially since you have to go back to Character Select in order to switch Arcanas here and there for certain trials and trophies), but it doesn't really take away from the enjoyment rating. All in all, Arcana Heart is a very enjoyable and heartwarming fighting game series from Arc System Works that sadly doesn't get as much love as their other ones. I certainly look forward to going back to it every once in a while. The road to completing every Arcana Heart stack is a long one, but I hope to get there eventually. Popular Post Undead Wolf
#368 - Devil May Cry 3 Platinum Trophy Unlock all trophies It's about time I got to this game. I guess Devil May Cry 2 traumatised me so much I had take a 2 year break from the series. ? DMC3 is of course a huge improvement over the second game, and is still considered to be the best game in the series by a lot of people. I love the younger, more brash version of Dante in this game. He truly lives up to the "wacky woohoo pizza man" moniker. ? His rivalry with Vergil is the real highlight of this game. Their interactions witch each other are always enjoyable to watch and the boss fights are oh so good, made even better by Vergil's constant taunting, saying how I lack motivation and what not. ? This game also introduced Lady, and she's a real cutie. Just what DMC needed! I look forward to seeing more of her in the later entries. The combat in this game was awesome. It encourages you to do combos and mix things up for a better score, and I felt like it had just about the right level of complexity. There are only a handful of combos for each weapon, and you can only equip two at a time, so I didn't feel overwhelmed. The styles were a nice addition, although I pretty much exclusively used two of them: Trickster and Swordmaster. Partially because they were the ones I found most useful (without unlimited DT that is), but also because you can't switch them on the fly. I know the Switch version fixes that. As for the platinum, it wasn't that challenging, but it sure as hell wants you to play the game over and over again. By the end I had done 7 playthroughs. One for each difficulty (except Easy), and another playthrough on top of that to get S ranks. That last one could have been folded into one of the other playthroughs, but it's easier just to do it at the end when you have the super costume. The hardest difficulty, Dante Must Die mode, is more tedious than it is hard. The enemies are given so much health and have the ability to go into Devil Trigger mode, so they take forever to kill, especially later on. They hit pretty hard, but that's not an issue when you can just use items to restore your health, so unless you're amazing at the game, you have to grind a lot to purchase these items. The S ranks can be done on Easy mode, so that wasn't an issue thanks to the lower requirements. All in all, it took me over 50 hours to get the plat which is a significant amount more than the previous two games. I still had a lot of fun with it though and I'm glad I can say that I've finally played this classic. Popular Post zid2016
This was the hardest nfs game I have platinum . I would say the difficulty is 6.5/10 cause of the AI rubber banding . Popular Post starcrunch061
Another big plat drop. Here we go! Plat #442 - Steam Tactics Steam Tactics Platinum Good job! Completed all tasks! Ratalaika games generally publishes pretty good stuff, with terrible trophies. With Sometimes You, though, you never know what you'll get. Some games are ridiculously bad, some are quite good, and the trophies are all over the place (don't believe me? Just look at the number of legit plats for Where Are My Friends?). With their new $0.99 price on the Vita, I decided to try out a few more of the latter. And this one...was quite good. Steam Tactics ain't Final Fantasy Tactics, but it's a fun, involved game with a decent amount of content, a nice battle system, a tried-but-true story (with a decent localization), and...animals as characters. Yeah - I don't know why they chose this model, but it's still pretty fun. Plat #443 - Swordbreaker The Game Swordbreaker The Game Platinum Good job! Completed all tasks! Another Sometimes You game, I platted this one on PS4 a while ago. It's just a Choose Your Own Adventure Novel in game form. You are a random warrior who wields the Swordbreaker, which seems like any other sword, except it...breaks swords? I don't know. But I found this just as fun the second time around as the first time. I even went through and found all the death screens for the hell of it. Plat #444 - Remnant: From The Ashes From the Ashes Acquire all trophies I really hate the adjective "soulslike". It seems to be applied to everything. Apparently, this was a "soulslike game with guns". Remnant certainly takes some inspiration from Souls games. For example, you walk through fog gates in order to meet a boss. That's...all I remember. For the most part, this is a shooter. Sometimes you're in a very open space, sometimes you're in a corridor, but you're shooting at enemies. And during the best sequences, it's pretty fun. But the bosses ruin all of that. I hated them, each and every one. The game has this weird "generate a random world" design that weakens it a bit in my eyes. Prior to patches, you had to play the whole game, hope you got events that you wanted, but if you didn't...play it again. Happily, they introduced a new "adventure" mode that allows you to reroll single areas, rather than the entire campaign. It makes it more palatable for an SP player. But this game has a devoted following among MP fans. I don't really get it, but whatever. I like the trophy tiles, though. Plat #445 - Metagal Platinum GAL Get all other trophies. Lots of people hate Ratalaika games. This title goes a long ways towards demonstrating this. Metagal is a blatant ripoff of Megaman (some of the enemies are identical), but it's a pretty fun ripoff. Control is good, levels are interesting - I thoroughly enjoyed playing through this one... ... ...which is good, because you can have the plat when you finish the first stage. In fact, you can get all but three of the trophies in the tutorial (which lasts about 60 seconds). A game like this might have stood on its own feet. Instead, I would guess that the vast majority of purchasers played the first level, and ditched it. I'll do that myself for the Vita version (it's a cross-buy). But if you do get it, finish it up. It's a solid game. Plat #446 - Metropolis: Lux Obscura Metropolis: Lux Obscura Platinum Good job! Completed all tasks! Well, if the plat name and description didn't already tell you, this is yet another Sometimes You game. This time, we're going with visual novel. Two things stand out here: the art work is superb, and the match-3 gameplay is solid. The censors at Sony apparently didn't care much about this one, which is amazing given some of the art and content here. The overall atmosphere is all Sin City. This would be a good game, were it not for the structure of the VN. Choices are rare, and often have random consequences. The story endings (there are 4 of them) are very lame. But it was certainly worth the dollar I put down for it, despite being a fairly mediocre title. Oh, and I think my next plat will also coincide with the worst game I've ever played. Stay tuned! Popular Post Charizarzar
#144 Horizon Zero Dawn Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 4/10 So as much as I want to love it, I'm just not as big of a fan of this game as most people are. The story is interesting, enough to make me want to buy Forbidden West to find out what happens next, and the gameplay is fun, but it reminded me a lot of Dragon Age: Inquisition in that I also really enjoyed that story and the open world environment was great to look at, but I think both games get dragged down by the side quests from characters I've forgotten the faces and requests of the second I turn away. I think this is partly because I'm more interested in the "old world" part of the story, while the side quests are more trivial tribe-related things that I don't think Aloy would or should be bothering herself with. Such is the nature of an open world game I guess. To end on a positive though, Aloy really is a great character, good-natured but mostly reserved and sarcastic. Sylens is another interesting one as it's not clear where exactly he stands as an ally or a possible villain. The variety of machines was also impressive, as unlike with, say, God of War (2018) where the enemies were all disappointingly similar, there's a clear difference between them all, forcing you to change your gameplay and not fall into a pattern of the same attacks.
Popular Post Quink666
#382 Little Nightmares II Primetime Content Consumer 48,59% Difficulty: / Fun: / Trophies: / Time to Plat: 6 Hours Great game! Scarier than all Bloober games combined. Really make me me hope that the Silent Hill Bloober rumor is untrue. Bloober would certainly kill of the Silent Hill franchise, first Homecoming then Downpour and a 3rd shitty bloober game would certainly be the final nail in the coffin. Little Nightmares 2 reminds heavily of games like Inside/Limbo, it just has better graphics and atmosphere. The puzzles were the highlight of the games really innovative and fun. The pacing was another thing that was great, just the right amount of puzzles between each "combat" encounter. Might go and play Little Nightmares 1 now that i know how good the second one is. #383 The Pathless No Path Untraveled 41,20% Difficulty: / Fun: / Trophies: / Time to Plat: 10 Hours Not the worst indie game i have ever played but far from the best. The selling points of the game was No map, No fast travel & No Game Overs. I think the game could have benefited from all three. They really wanted you to run alot in this game. To get each spirits gift you had to run after them for like 3-4 minutes after you've collected all tokens and in the end the gift felt kinda useless. Still i didn't feel like my time was wasted like i do with a fair amount of AAA games nowadays. Still fun to play something different. It's truly sad that you have to play indie games to get these innovative and creative ideas, something most AAA studies seems to shy away from.
Popular Post FFATMA
#66 Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 I had fun playing this one, more than I was expecting for an official game of an event. Admittedly a major event, but still, I wasn't expecting the quality that was put into this. I would imagine that the online community will die down shortly, but of course while the olympics are actually running, there's no problem getting opponents online. I boosted most of the online anyway, using my wife's PS5. There were only 2 events that I had some difficulty winning, the 100m freestyle and the 4x100 relay race. Honestly though, it was only minor difficulty and I don't expect it to stop too many people. For the 4x100, you can't just hammer away on the x button for speed, you really have to focus on keeping the speed indicator in the pink zone and make sure to always use L2 for a boost on every handoff. The only trophy that was a bit of a grind was the one for obtaining all the Tips. Pretty minor grind though, compared to most of the games I play. Fairly easy, fun and quick plat overall.

Popular Post Shrooba
Platinum #48 You've Only Done Everything I found myself lucky enough to get a PS5 from a local retailer, and i knew I had to try out Astro's Playroom as my first platinum on the console. It's been greatly recommended as it's been said that it showcases the best parts of the new DualSense controller, and it definitely shows! The game is a tech demo of sorts that sees you control Astro, a mascot for PlayStation, as he traverses 4 distant worlds that represent the capabilities of the PS5 hardware, with collectibles and easter eggs that cherish the legacy of PlayStation from each generation since the PS1. Through the DualSense controller, there's resistance to the L2 and R2 triggers as you climb mountainous cliffs as a monkey, you can jump in a 2D landscape with the springy jumps of a frog suit, you can gain momentum in a ball suit through the touch pad, and breeze along terrain with a glider. Alongside those aspects are realistic rumble features that accurately portray what's happening on screen; this can be from feeling slight pitter-patters of rain, to trudging through dirty terrain in a ball, it's incredible how well it simulates into the controller and is much more than a simple rumble feature as it actually immerses you with what's happening. Even the footsteps of walking over different things like grass or metallic platforms are captured uniquely in the rumble feature. Since this is a tech demo, this is just a broad showcase of the capabilities of the controller and it's incredible to anticipate how this feature will be pushed in new PS5 games, which I've started to experience with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. I would argue that the console and controller are both of equal importance with this generation of PlayStation, and this is a stellar first impression. I won't go into much more detail as this is definitely an incredible game that is best approached not knowing what will happen; you'll see many awesome callbacks to previous eras of PlayStation! This is a plat I'm quite fond of, and I hold the game in a truly high regard. Team Asobi made a brilliant demonstration of the controller's potential with this installment in the Astro series, and I can't wait for what else will be on the PS5! Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #280: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement Rating: 7/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 75+ Hours Hardest Trophy: Child of Poseidon ( Complete all underwater location objectives ) I'm going to keep this one short, since I made my collection of thoughts in my review on Odyssey. Pretty enjoyable game if you're a newcomer to the series. For an old veteran like me, I have pretty mixed feelings on it. I feel with every subsequent release Ubisoft is driving further away from what made the series great. The lore, the story, the characters. Ancient Greece is an awesome setting, but somehow, Ubisoft managed to make it rather unremarkable towards the end. Far too many locations, massive open world, just a lot of padding to what could of been a truly awesome game. This is the closest I've felt on an Ubisoft game being 'corporatized'. It starts off great with the Battle of 300 and the seemingly epic adventure the game takes you on. For the first 20 hours or so. Slowly but surely, I felt my life slip away with every hour I played as I checked off locations one by one. The graphics are spectacular, but anybody that knows me knows I don't rate games well by their graphics alone. Gameplay and keeping the player engaged throughout the game are far more important. My biggest gripe with this game is the fact Ubisoft took and stole so much from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. There is so much obvious to suggest that they did in fact take a ton of ideas. Normally I wouldn't mind this, as countless games have taken from Super Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, and other big name franchises. Assassin's Creed Odyssey feels like a B movie in comparison to The Witcher 3. The locations aren't as varied, you have the same boring objectives over and over, combat becomes overly repetitive. The mercenary system was poorly designed and every mercenary is practically a giant sponge. The RPG elements are loose and hold little weight. Side quests are rather forgettable, only a small handful of NPCs were really anything memorable. Despite my boredom and tiredness with this game, the Fate of Atlantis DLC story pack did lift my spirits up a little. The Additional Feats DLC was utter garbage, only two or three of those side questlines were worth any value. I don't know. A 7 out of 10 rating is being rather generous from me. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is looking completely daunting for it's repetitiveness and endless collectibles. Perhaps it will finally be the game that will make me quit buying Ubisoft games.
Popular Post ACA5632
#113 Broken Age I wasn't expecting the story of this game to be as good as it was. The end of Act 1 especially blew my mind. I'd definitely recommend this game to everyone.
Popular Post ShinigamiSensei-
#183: LOVERS IN A DANGEROUS SPACETIME Master of SpacetimeCollect all other trophies. 3.48% ULTRA RARE Yeah, the rumors are true, this game have the easiest ultra rare platinum that you can find out there. This game reminds me of this... I know, i know... Fear not...is nowhere near that difficult!!! Pros: CURRENTLY 9 UR TROPHIES IN TOTAL! YEAH, 9!!! COUCH CO-OP GAME NO DIFFICULTY RELATED TROPHIES Cons: THE GAME IS PRETTY MEH IMO... ?Hardest trophy: "All Creatures Great and Small" : Annoying due the fact that you have to rescue all 10 friends in 5 minutes in one of the latest level...but, then again...it's just one level to deal with. Took me just a couple of tries, nothing too bad... Happy Hunting! Edited July 27, 2021 by ShinigamiSensei-
