Popular Post Yechan
#255 Devil May Cry I'm glad that they ported this to PS3 because it was one of those PS2 games I never finished when I was a kid. Early on as a kid I only had Nintendo consoles and didn't have a PS2 until middle school. At the end of middle school is also when I first got a PS3 and here I am years later still playing my PS3. Hopefully it doesn't take me that long to finish the rest of the DMC games.

Popular Post PooPooBlast
#161 and 100% Saints Row 3 Remastered (PS5 version) Saints Row 3 is simply a game where you can switch off your brain, shoot stuff and have fun with all the absurdity going on screen! I mean where else can you say, you're playing as Michael Jackson wielding a purple dildo as a weapon to terrorize people . No seriously, that's exactly what happened . Spoiler In terms of gameplay, you get an array of weapons to mess around with, most of which are upgradeable and change the way they function. Cars can also be customized not only by changing the way they look but also by increasing motor strength and car durability. There are also tons of activities to keep you distracted, most of which boil down to shooting with some better than others but they were varied enough to keep things from getting repetitive and boring. The remastered version also brought in a slew of improvements over the original. I played the PS5 version which runs at 4k, 60 fps and performance was super smooth without any framerate dips whatsoever. Loading times were also incredibly fast. We're talking 3-4 seconds only to load up a save! Having said all that, here's my saints row plat collection . I really hope the Saints Row Reboot maintains the absurdity and crude humour of the originals. Unfortunately, from what I've seen from the trailers, I'm afraid that this was chucked out of the window but I hope I'm wrong... On a more positive note, I'll leave you with my favourite radio soundtrack from the game. Enjoy and cheers! Spoiler
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #641: Difficulty: 3/10 Playtime: 50-60 hours Oh boy, wouldn't you know it? It's another licensed video game starring those soon-to-be-environmentally-sustainable interlocking building bricks that can cause more pain than a bed made from acid-drenched tungsten spikes if stepped on, but hey, most importantly... ...Though ultimately, I'm not really a huge superhero guy. I guess I'll have to concede to being a Detective Comics Comics devotee by default, as they own the Battered Man, the Powdered Girl, and the Watched Men. When it comes to Marvel, any active interest does tend to begin and end with the Spidering Man... and, uhh, Thor, I guess, since without him, Adventures in Babysitting wouldn't be what it is, y'know? Is Elisabeth Shue a Marvel superhero? I'd be a lot more interested if she were. But a guy's gotta LEGO from time to time, and this game existed, and so your humble narrator made up his malenky rassoodocks to play it, oh my brothers. Kang the Conqueror has emerged from the depths of wherever to... well, conquer Manhattan, and add it to his collection of conquered realms that he has conquered. Not content with merely your average bogrot conquerage, using the power of wibbly wobbly timey wimey bullshit, he merges Manhattan with other realms from throughout time and space to create Chronopolis, the greatest crossover since unoriginal memes. See now why I voted for Kodos? Here, ancient Egyptians live side by side with cowboys, aliens, Nutzis, and guys from medieval times... unfortunately, not the restaurant, thus depriving us of the ability to play as The Cable Guy. Anyways, it's up to our merry band of alternate timeline superheroes to put an end to Con's kangquering. Can they do it? Well... yes. It's a superhero story. Will you have fun doing it? Well... Good things first. Thanks to a delightfully goofy script delivered with verve and aplomb and other pretentious words, I really enjoyed the story despite my having little to no knowledge of a majority of the characters or esoteric MacGuffins involved. Everyone gets a chance to shine, and very few of the heroes come off as afterthoughts, even if they could have shown some restraint as to the number of them. It's also got the best character customizer in the series, allowing you to meticulously craft your own badass hero that can possess 90% of the various abilities you will need to solve puzzles and cause the kind of massive suburban damage heroes never seem to be billed for. The story levels also rarely outstay their welcome... but, for this, there are reasons. Negative reasons. Negative reasons which I shall now elucidate upon your personage, as my positivity is now thoroughly spent. You see, this is one of those kinds of games that suffer from kryptonite of their own making. The game challenges the very definition of "side content," as it constitutes roughly four fifths of the game's collective content; to wit, fifty heckin' hours of the stuff! And that's only if you skip all the interminable dialogue, as I was forced to do... because it's just too damn much by any sane metric. And of course, there are only some six-seven types of side missions, which range from mildly amusing, to thoroughly boring, to IF I HAVE TO DO ANOTHER REPETITIVE FIVE MINUTE FIGHT AND FOLLOW MISSION I SHALL UNLEASH A PLAGUE OF RAVENOUS AARDVARKS UPON THE DEVELOPERS' FIRSTBORN!!! ...So what I'm saying is, by virtue of its sheer tone-deaf excess, this game is an unforgiveable dereliction of its expected duty as a stress-lowering LEGO game. Ultimately, LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2: Too Much Shit to Do Boogaloo and its doubling down on content for its own sake is an absolutely baffling creative choice on the part of Traveller's Tales, and only serves to compound the flaws of the formula, which everyone and their mother's talking Russian space dog has taken to task again and again without much in the way of improvement. If the upcoming Star Wars game is going to be as crimmed to the bram with content as I fear it might be, and it follows in this game's example... I might just cough up the dough for a copy of The Complete Saga for the PS2 instead, y'know? So many years, and flashes of brilliance amidst a furore of stale mechanics and half-baked innovations is the best they can muster on a consistent basis... not super, man. Final Score: 6/10 Edited September 18, 2021 by AK-1138 Some things got kerfuckled, as Goofy would say

Popular Post kkulifay
Tomb Raider (PS3) Such a great and captivating story. The graphics were very decent too for a PS3 game. Solo player trophies were a breeze; but then, came the MP trophies. True Commitment Trophy (level to 60) was exactly as the name implies. It was so boring and beyond repetitive. But, it can be done on a Private Session solo. Just grab some headphones and listen to some podcasts or discover new music on streaming app. Wasn’t as bad as doing solo Wolfpack sessions in AC: Black Flag. I found a stellar boosting group on this site and everyone had each other’s backs on the other MP trophies. That took less than a couple hours and was actually a breeze with a group chat coordinating actions, turns, etc. I’m looking forward to playing Rise and Shadow eventually, especially since they are always on sale. Platinum was very fulfilling and patience is definitely a requirement.
Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum 268 Fun: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Blue Reflection is Gust's take on a Persona style game that looks very much like an anime in video game form. The game takes place in a school setting like Persona, you can hang out with friends after school like in persona, and go to an alternate world to fight monsters just like persona. However the only locations you can travel around are the school and the different alternate world locations. You also do not have a large cast of party members you switch around, just the main character herself and her two fellow magical girls. The story follows Hinako Shira, who suffered a knee accident that left her unable to preform as a ballet dancer, after ending up in the alternate world called the common, a place human emotions reside, she gained the power to transform into a magical girl and has to stabilize the emotions of her school mates when their emotions goes completely out of control by travelling to the common. Later on you'll fight massive bosses that attack the school in an epic fight as they get closer to the school. It's not the best JRPG but it has great music and beautiful graphics. Also, there is no english dub, just subs.

Popular Post MissShake
#70: Islanders Unlock All Trophies Have all other trophies unlocked Leaderboard Placement: 35th I remembered seeing this on a Nintendo Direct and I just assumed that it would only be on Switch, but it was a pleasant surprise to see this pop up on PSN. I was looking for something relaxing, something I could chill with after a long shift at work. I didn't totally expect an easy platinum, but I'm quite glad it was one. Something about the gameplay loop was easy to get sucked into, so if you do want an easy plat that's not just a visual novel you can speed through, maybe give Islanders a shot. I think I might even come back to it just to mess around in the Sandbox mode

Popular Post madbuk
#433 - Metro: Last Light I really wasn't a fan of this one. I want to give it the benefit of the doubt and say that starting with LL instead of 2033 diminished any enjoyment I could've gotten out of the story, and that the bugs are a PS3-specific issue and fixed in Redux, because I know a lot of people who are big fans, but... if 2033 was so essential, why did they release Last Light on PS3 without the prior game? I also found the environments all very samey and bland, which is understandable considering it takes place in the apocalypse, but it doesn't make for an interesting game. The trophies were all very finicky and unclear - the requirements for Shadow Ranger and what can mess it up vary depending on who you ask, there's no tracking for gun kills, and Ranger Hardcore hides information from you that the main character should have access to - how many claymores you have, for example, you have no idea. You can only carry 5 maximum though, can Artyom really not count to 5? The DLC was all pretty bad and uninteresting as well, thankfully most of them were short though. I am glad to be done with this game after 7 years of it being in my backlog, but I definitely don't forsee me playing the others in the series.

Popular Post Deluziion90
#444 - Deathloop Into EternityCollect all other trophies. Taken from Status update: Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Total time to platinum: ~18hrs As the internet is now flooded with IGN and other gaming website giving this game a 10/10 and being rated like God of War or Last of Us is kinda rough to start with. The game is a very enjoyable platinum and you can play however you want when you start. You start as Colt a guy who doesn't remember who he is, where he is and what's going on. The first few hours you'll get flooded with tutorials and how to play the game and I have to say even though it's a lot of information it's very well explained. I started playing rather scared and used stealth to approach my targets and get clue's to my next objectives but that changed rather quick, more on that later. Talking about clues that's almost how the game is played. 4 Maps + Morning - Noon - Afternoon and Evening. After these you'll get cycled back to morning and the day starts over again. But the game is not even close to a roguelike/Roguelite. You'll be able to infuse your items and weapons including powerups for your special abilities like playing Dishonored (teleporting around the map, linking enemies to each other with beams for massive aoe 1 shot kills and even turning invisible) Around 8-10hrs in I finished the story and the scared guy I was the first few hours was gone and that's where the game fails. The AI is beyond stupid, blind and just retarded. I've not played many games with AI this stupid. After the story I needed a whole bunch of random trophies and I needed to kill targets in certain ways. (Poison kills, Stealth kills, other random but fun ways). I was just teleporting around the map like a monkey ignoring AI and just 1 shotting everything that came into my path and that's Why I would rate this game a 7.5/8 out of 10 as there was no challenge at all.

(EU PS3) Threads of Fate Bind Us Together Conquered the beast that is Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!! Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Second Love Max platinum obtained! I've already posted my thoughts on the game and trophies here: I've slightly decreased the difficulty rating this time due to the following: Time Attack went a lot better, as I finished it within 8 minutes and 25 seconds on my first try (compared to the 9 minutes and 38 seconds last time) I beat Parace L'Sia on my very first try! I got extremely lucky as she used that move where she heals herself and got a little derpy towards the end of the first round, thus allowing me to completely fill the Arcana Gauge with the Metal Arcana before the second round even started. Since I was using best girl Angelia, the rest of the fight was a breeze as I solely focused on activating her Critical Heart and blocking Parace's attacks otherwise. 2 stacks down, 4 more to go!
Popular Post arcanehornet_
I’ve gotten insanely lazy with posting my plats on here, so here we go. My last few plats all in one post. Call of Duty: WW2 This one has been coming for a LONG time. Thought the game was pretty cool, I liked the campaign and MP a lot. Zombies was kinda shitty, though. I finished nearly all the zombies stuff and the campaign months ago. I was missing “Pressure Cooker” and “Red Mist” plus the Mp stuff. Red Mist is a bit of a pain, but there is actually a super easy glitch for the Pressure Cooker trophy. You can get infinite ammo, basically. If you can get the crossbow from the mystery box, then you have basically secured the trophy. The Walking Dead: A New Frontier I played this already in the Definitive Collection, but I actually won the standalone game in a raffle, so I figured I’d replay it. Not a bad game at all, but it’s probably my least favorite from the series. Not a very memorable story overall. I liked the romantic subplot with Kate though, lol. Little Nightmares Even though this doesn’t have a plat, it’s still one from the backlog. There’s really only one trophy in this which might cause an issue, which is “Hard to the Core.” You need to beat the game in under an hour without dying. This is way easier than it sounds though, as you can keep uploading your save to the cloud and reload it if you happen to die. Reloading checkpoint before dying is also very effective. My run was sloppy (and I mean really sloppy), and I was fully expecting to not get the trophy. I did though, thankfully. Knowledge is Power I’ve been playing this with family and friends periodically for years, getting most trophies naturally along the way. It’s a pretty fun quiz/trivia game to play. Any non-gamer can play it. Call of Duty: Black Ops Man, what an iconic game. I could go on about it, but this post is long enough already so I’ll keep it short. The campaign was an amazing experience and wasn’t actually bad on Veteran. Got most miscellaneous trophies during this playthrough as well, which minimized the cleanup. The zombies mode is pretty tricky though. The trophies that involve the Crossbow and the Ballistic knife are entirely luck based, because you can only get them from the mystery box. Because of this, they took quite a lot of attempts, but eventually I got the trophies. Life is Strange: True Colors I’m a big fan of the Life is Strange series, so I naturally had to play this as soon as possible. After LiS2 (which was a big disappointment for me) this game was a breath of fresh air. Still not as good as the first, but I loved it. Spec Ops: The Line This game is a masterpiece, without any exaggaration. The story is probably the best one I’ve seen in any shooter. The cover based-shooter gameplay has aged pretty well, I enjoyed the squad mechanics too. The plat isn’t too bad, minus the infamous FUBAR difficulty. This had me pretty frustrated at certain points (Looking at you, chapter 13,14). But, overall it’s very doable. I’d recommend this game to any gamer really, it’s just a shame that it never got a sequel or remaster.

Popular Post Eqill5
Crash Bandicoot - Platinum #49 & 100% I don’t think this game needs any introduction here. This was a lot of fun, nostalgic, and I’d been looking forward to playing it for a long time! It’s funny because I used to play this on the PS1 with my brother when we were younger and we could never complete it, so it was good to finally see it through! The time trials weren’t too bad, the levels just require some practice and most of all, staying alive. On to Crash 2, my all time favourite in the series! Easy platinum but you need to boost for Wildcats trophy and even more if you want the 100% . But it's not so hard actually it's still doable on 2021 so do it faster, it's a masterpiece. i Hope the devil EA can give us another game i miss it... Popular Post snakebit10
#363 6.88% Very Rare Been a while sense I have posted a most recent platinum. I guess I got lazy. Anyways here we are. I got this in a PS store sale in 2015 around November and started it then and did a play through and put it down. Only got a few more trophies in January of 2016. Hadn't touched it since then until recently. I was looking through my digital library and come across it and decided to download it again to see if I could get a few more trophies. As I want to clean up some of my older games. Only reason I can think of why I stopped playing it is I usually don't like having to play games through multiple times for a platinum. This takes 4 play throughs of the story and 2 play throughs of the missions. 16 story chapters and 20 missions. Thankfully none of them take to long to beat. My last play through of the story only took about 2 and half hours. It is a pretty fun Hack and Slash game. Once you get upgrades and certain rings you become just about unstoppable. So much so I had to take one of the rings of (berserk authentic) so I could get V ranks on some of the missions. With it on I was killing enemies so fast I couldn't build up combos to get enough points. Story wise you are trying to find out what was behind the zombie apocalypse. You travel round the world and find the person behind. That's about it. I like the game more for the non stop action, which was fun. For some reason I didn't mind the 3 play throughs I had left to do. Don't let the Platinum rarity fool you. I have played harder games with a higher percentage. Like I mentioned above, once you get certain rings it pretty much wipes the difficulty out. Only thing I can think of is people didn't like the game enough to go for the plat. It has some grinding and the guide on here is very helpful. Overall 8/10 enjoyment 3.5/10 difficulty After playing this it has me wanting more Hack n Slash. SO much I may try a series I have never played. DMC. I have the reboot released on PS4, but I don't know if I am ready for 6 play throughs of that (according to the guide) unless they are quick. I have hardly any knowledge of the DMC games.

All 44 Trophies 19th September 2021 • Platinum in 1 week, 4 days Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Overall time: ?? Finally got the platinum for this 2D metroidvania style game. It's a great game by a chinese dev team and not many are playing it as of now only 750 have it on PSNP which blows my mind. The game isn't a full 60€ price but a lof better then most 60€ games these days. The platinum was a little bit of a pain in the end as like many metroid games the map requirement was achieving 100% in each zone and here's where the problems started. 49/50 collectables achieved and the map was 100% for me. A well known bug unfortunately for lots of people who weren't able to platinum this game. But even though this bug shouldn't be in there from the beginning I'm giving a round of applause as people were informing the devs about this problem and the first patch they rolled out fixed this problem (atleast for me). Hopefully more people will try this game out as it is just a great game!
