Popular Post Carol
#181 Timothy vs the Aliens The boss of the city Complete all the trophies. I've been doing some not-so-easy and/or time-consuming platinums lately, so I wanted to rest a bit, with something easier. I got this game, "Timothy vs the Aliens", through PS Plus some time ago and I really had no idea what to expect from it, when I started it. It's actually a quite fun and entertaining action-platformer, set in a 1930's black and white city, which is facing an alien invasion. It might not be an amazing game, but if you're just looking to pass some time, you'll definitely have some fun. The platinum is very easy and I was able to do it in less than five hours. Following a guide for the collectibles is recommended.

I wish we had a naruto or one piece game like dat. Nothing is missable. But few side quests cant be done post game , if u miss em during the story. For me dragon ball z kakarot is for sure in my top 3 dragonball games. The animations looks dope for an anime game.

Popular Post snakebit10
#299 The Walking Dead: The Final Season I have followed this series since the first season and have enjoyed all of them. I don't think anything will top the first season, but this final season comes very close. It is way better than the third season. It is a fitting end to Clementine's story. It has it's twist and turns and moments that hit you right in the feels. I did notice a couple plot holes but won't mention here for sake of spoiler purposes. Gameplay wise it was changed up a bit. No longer do you just play through the game and get the platinum. There are trophies based on decisions you make and there are collectibles you have to complete. I hope any future telltale games, follow this method. Looking at you Wolf Among us Season 2. Now onto the big 300th platinum.

Popular Post ZoutjeNL
Platinum #24 Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered (and 100%) Enjoyment: 9 Difficulty: 7 As I played the first Uncharted I was looking forward to playing the 2nd one as I heard great things about it. The story is more interesting than the first one. Some great new characters were introduced and overall the setting is way more diverse than the first game. I also love how the game started out and it eventually all made sense. I also had a few laughs here and there some dialogue options were quite funny. More weapons were added and this added an extra layer of diversity to the game. This time around I started on Crushing, unlike on Uncharted 1 where I started on medium so I had to do 4 playthroughs. Overall Crushing was not so bad and the game was still very enjoyable starting out on this difficulty. This made me do 3 playthroughs. First the playthrough on Crushing grabbing all collectibles (which were way harder than the first game, gladly I used a guide). The 2nd playthrough was the speedrun which I had about 20 minutes to spare, restarting before death really saved my ass here. And my 3th playthrough Brutal difficulty. Even with using the one shot kills and unlimited ammo it was still a pain in the ass and some sections really felt unfair. Somehow I found Uncharted 2 on Brutal more difficult than the first one. It was a quite frustrating experience and the same applies here as the first game. It is just a broken mess sometimes. The cover still kinda sucks in Uncharted as Drake likes to do his own thing and just doesn't want to get in cover. Another small complaint I have is the lack of a character in this game compared to the first one I would have loved seeing him more. And that is about it. I really loved the game. Great story, nice characters, great areas compared to the first. Except the brutal playthrough it was a blast. Looking forward to the 3rd one which I am going to start working on.

Popular Post Slava
#11 - TOMB RAIDER (PS3) True Survivor I have never played any Tomb Raider game before maybe except for the very first one on PS1 for 10 minutes. So this is the first Tomb Raider I've finished. It wasn't the worst place to start, I guess, because it's a reboot and because I thought the game was good. The story is decent, though a little too dark and gritty in some parts. The gameplay is solid. You'll run around big interconnected areas, kill many people and find places to explore which will reward you with new unlockable stuff. There are some metroidvania elements in level design: after ulocking a new ability you can reach places that you couldn't explore before. The most enjoyable part for me was exploring the hidden tombs and solving puzzles inside them. I know that the developers made the tombs bigger and cooler in the sequels, so I'll probably check them too one day. As for the platinum, the singleplayer trophies are fine: you'll have to unlock everything and get some collectables. Most of them are easy to find even withough the guides because Lara has her own version of the Batman's "Detective vision" and sees the closest points of interest. And also after the successful raiding of a tomb every collectible in the surrounding area shows up on the map. So no problems with that stuff. The multiplayer is a different story. It sucks ass. First of all, it doesn't work well on PS3 in 2020. I've experienced all kinds of problems and glitches and delay while playing online. Sometimes my inputs for shooting with the grenade launcher or breaking a box wouldn't go through and I would get killed because of that. Sometimes the other players would look like they're zooming and teleporting around the screen because their position was not processing correctly. My console even froze a couple of times. Secondly, the MP is boring and doesn't need to be in the game IMO. It can be fun sometimes when it works (I found sniping other people with a bow to be really satisfying) and the servers are still populated. You will find people playing TDM every day. The good news is that you don't have to grind or boost to level 60 with random people. There is the "Solo method" which I learned too late about. You can create a private match and play the "Rescue" mode alone. It's faster but even more boring than playing legit. It's better to turn on a stream or a podcast on a phone or another available screen while you're carrying those damn medkits. The bad news is that you'll have to play with at least 3 other people for some of the other online trophies. In conclusion, I'll say that if you want to play and complete this game, pick the Definitive Edition on PS4. It looks better and I can't imagine it not working better. At least I heard it was. P.S. this is now my rarest platinum at 5,28%. ? Edited February 21, 2020 by Alderriz

Thank you for playing! Awesome game with a powerful story. It's a shame this platinum is one of those NO FUN ALLOWED platinums. Grindy as fuck. I finished the story in 60 hours, finished sidequest and misc stuff at 110 hours, then finished second run in 15 hours and finished everything in 50 hours of the second run. Popular Post JaM
Happy Western Birthday Vita #306 - 313 Spoiler My PS4 stopped working last December and while it was on repair(for almost a month ), I had to rely on my trusted Vita and Kemco games to satisfy most of my gaming J(?)RPG needs(the other one as Metroidvania, details later) + a tiny bit help from my good ol reliable and still working PS3(1 plat and which was unused rarely once I bought my PS4). Lately, maybe because of joining some events I guess, I am not really popping plats and been holding them off for a while(like atm I have Bloodstained plat ready to plat anytime) so I just decided to hold off on popping my Vita plats for this day *shrug* Anywayyy... For Kemco games above, my heirarchy in terms of enjoyment is: Wizards of Brandel > Illusion of L'Phalcia > Fernz Gate > Asdivine Dios > Frane: Dragons' Odyssey. Thoughts below... I am not a huge fan of Frane's gameplay. Among the Kemco games I have played so far, this game too me the longest to figure it out. And it still don't make sense to me, in the end, I just used Yoyo from start to end. Fernz Gate and Illusion of L'Phalcia are so-so games I guess, not bad games... Not just memorable... At this moment I really can't recall exactly the plot. Asdivine Dios is a reminder that I hate harem worse is I want to play all PSN Kemco games and Izayoi has a sequel game. Wizards of Brandel is actually fun, not just because of recency bias, but the MC is actually my fave Kemco character. I have seen Curse of the Moon from a sale, I bought it as a palette cleanser to back to back Kemco games. After completing it, I still crave for Metroidvania, with my PS4 still in repair (and Ritual of the Night is still at full price), I searched for alternative and found a gem called Chasm. It is like a mini version of Castlevania with RNG. Glad that I found it and I highly recommend it. A certain doctor, which is rhymed to Magus, posted a status that Volumes of Westeria is free for anyone that bought the original Dragon Book(you know that one that has no plat years ago), and well, free plat is always welcome. Also having fun while replaying it is a very sweet icing on the cake. I have been waiting for ages for Ys VIII to go on sale, to the point that I actually forgot about the game. I finally saw it on sale and was reminded again that I want to play it. And it was a fun game and less stressful than Ys Origins. I actually thought that playing on Nightmare will save me some time for only playing it in 1 run but it felt that I spent more time on than 1 run than the estimated plat time for 2 runs. Not a problem for me though, loved the gameplay... One gripe though, and maybe because of less game time issue, it felt that the plot and cutscenes are sooo slow paced. It is also my gripe while playing Trails II. Edited February 21, 2020 by JaM
Popular Post madbuk
#358 - Yakuza 3 This game hasn't aged well at all. I loved my time with 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2, and was excited to get into this, but... okay, so it's a lot older than the other games and for its time I guess it's pretty impressive, but the combat is such a noticeable step down from future games. Every enemy spams block, they spam evade, and the moment you break their guard it's instantly up again. Most of the colosseum matches came down to me breaking guard for a minuscule amount of damage over and over instead of actually getting a proper hit in. Not that "proper hits" do any damage either. The minigames are pretty poor. Pool took me hours of frustration to finish and removing your aiming reticle on the batting was such an unnecessary way to make it difficult. And the aiming in darts felt off, I could never get it consistant even when I felt like I was doing the same thing every time. Karaoke was fun but Kiryu only has one song to sing in this, the rest being interjections, which was disappointing. I'd also say the story is perhaps the least interesting so far, however I did still very much enjoy it. Haruka is such a great kid, I'd argue she's my favourite videogame child because she just acts so mature and helps keep things in order while "Uncle Kaz" is out doing important work. I liked all the little subplots with the kids at the orphanage throughout the game and the new characters introduced like Rikiya and Mine were good as well. I might stack this some day, as I own the stack already via buying the Yakuza 3/4/5 physical bundle that released recently on PS4, but it wont be for a long, long time. I plan on doing Yakuza 4, 5, 6, (maybe) 7, Dead Souls and Judgment first at the very least.

Popular Post Jelly Soup
#115 - The Wolf Among Us (PS4) I played this back when the episodes were first releasing, back on PS3. Since then, I've read all of Fables, so it was interesting going back through the story and catching new context for later events. As far as TT games go, this one has way less poking around and exploration, much more on the rails and about dialog between characters. I'd recommend it.
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#125 - Days Gone "One Percenter" Go above and BEYOND, unlocking every trophy in Days Gone To tell you the truth, I had more fun with Days Gone than I expected. It's far from a perfect game, but I would argue that this is the case of a game where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. I'll be sure to touch on both the good & the bad in my short 'review', so you can see if it's right for you too! The good stuff: Visuals overall were great; with gritty and beautiful environments in particular. Think a similar setting to the stellar 'Firewatch' mixed with The Last of Us (not the last comparison to TLoU here) and you're not too far off the mark. Looked stunning on my 4K TV with HDR Also visually, the main characters (Deacon + side leaders, friends) looked very good too. As the characters moved further from 'main' status, their appearance 'rating' drops a bit, but the main guys look awesome Music is haunting and beautiful, with a terrifying turn for the horde fights Overall, combat is fun with good variety in weapons and extra items. Again, think TLoU (but on a larger scale) and you're pretty close. Maybe not for everyone, but I liked it (same for the crafting system) Hordes were perhaps the highlight of the game for me. Particularly early on, they are terrifying and fun to fight, requiring strategy and a LOT of ammo. Later on they become a bit of a joke (with all the explosives and heavy duty weaponry available), but they're still a blast Voicework was at a very high standard; especially with the main characters. Deacon and the major people you interact with (no spoilers) are all believable and make the story much more engaging NB: Except inconsistencies with Deacon yelling / muttering about EVERYTHING. Not too bad, but got a bit over the top for me... Weapons sound amazing, especially late-game snipers & shotguns Bike was fun to ride / traverse environments with; nothing ground-breaking or complicated, but definitely solid The not-so-good stuff: Repetition in mission design; especially side missions There are some standout campaign missions, but others are literally just ‘go here and talk to this guy’ and you're done... Here's a sample bounty hunter mission... Questgiver: you know this guy? Me: nope. Deacon: yeah. Them: kill him, Deacon: yeah he was a dick anyway…. seriously, that's basically all the story you get. Most of the game that is off-the-beaten-path is pretty boring to be honest. Especially when compared to other open world side quests in the last few years. Enemy AI (humans in particular) is very poor. They often run into walls, ignore you OR shoot you from ages away. Quite bad Loading screens between gameplay & short cutscenes crop up constantly. It can happen up to 10 times in a mission; which takes you out of the action, even if only for a few seconds. You might not care about this as much, but it really bothered me after a while Frame-rate drops & texture pop-in; especially in late-game. Not too bad, but noticeable Skills were predominantly ‘make this suck less’ (reload, accuracy, etc.) rather than adding interesting new ways to play. Made levelling up less exciting The overall story was decent… nothing amazing though. There were some intriguing parts near the start, but most of the rest feels a bit like filler until the end missions (apart from a few interesting ones throughout). Not bad though Trophies: Very easy overall, just do / unlock everything Can play on easy if you want, though I personally played on Hard and would recommend it for a better experience. It makes you actually scared of hordes, rather than just being able to tank everything... Don't look up anything; just have fun! Ezpz Overall, I still just really enjoyed my time with Days Gone. The feeling of being in the world was often enough for me to overlook the game's faults and flaws. It's not as polished as it could be, but it's still an impressive 1st entry in (hopefully) a new series for the Playstation. I, for one, would be keen to see more. Honestly, I would still recommend the game highly, despite my rating / the negatives. Grab it for cheap if you can, and have fun Game rating: 7.5/10 Plat difficulty: 2/10
Popular Post MissShake
#49: SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy SNK HEROINES Tag Team Frenzy All trophies have been acquired. This game is trashy fun. I really enjoy SNK games, especially KoF, so I knew that I would eventually play this, even if this game wasn't exactly, uh, directed at me. The game has a bunch of SNK ladies looking really cute or really trashy depending on your tastes, but the twist of them all looking that way due to being in Kukri's dream is hilarious. If you like SNK games then this is just fun fanservice. They even have MissX in it! You should buy it just because of that inclusion! Yes, MissX is DLC, and yes, you should still buy it.
Popular Post BlackSnake1435
Platinum #39 Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoy: 6/10 There are actually two reasons why I bought this game with an alternative Hong Kong account I had. First than all because I like the DOA series and its girls, although I already knew that some of them like Christie wouldn't be present, and secondly, because this version had a very good discound on psn Hong Kong. I must say, its a very relaxing game someone could enjoy after a strenuous day or playing some intense games, of course full of beautiful girls, but as it is for playability, believe, this game doesn't have too much to offer, but I believe many of the users who actually buy it do not do it because of that. As a joke I once heard "I like this game because of the volleyball", and its actually not that far from reality, the volleyball is actually entertaining, but there are many other game modes that definetely don't.

And in my opinion the last season was actually really good. Definitely way better than season 3. I never understood why Clem was side character in the third game. To me this whole series was about Clementine and her story of growing up in a fucked up world. I did full second playthrough to get all missed trophies, and I have to admit that I liked the second playthrough even more than first time doing it. Not really sure why that is, but I'm happy with it. Great series, with satisfying ending. What else can I ask for? Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 3/10 To call this game "a game" is absolutely insulting. Luckily, I bought the "Deluxe Edition" of this game on sale for $1.61 CAD, and I bought it for just the platinum, nothing else. The story is so laughably bad that I can't even take it seriously anymore without bursting out in laughter. Seriously, why was this game at a full price during its initial release?
