Optinooby
28 minutes ago, DF007gamer said: PLATINUM #161 Heart of Hallownest DIFFICULTY - 10/10 ENJOYMENT - 10/10 PLAT TIME - 45 HOURS PLAT RARITY 9.11% DIFFICULTY The game is not that hard until the very last pantheon. Otherwise it would be a 5/10 difficulty. Funny enough I had an easier time with the hard bosses and a hard time with the easy bosses. For example the Traitor Lord and Soul Tyrant which some find easy I had a hard time with. To make the game less difficult for yourself just make sure to get all upgrades and most charms before taking on some harder bosses otherwise you'll be slaughter. Same goes for venturing into certain areas. If you go in with an upgraded nail then you can 2 or 3 hit enemies otherwise without the right charms and nail you'll have to do double. ENJOYMENT For me personally it's a 10/10. The gameplay is so fluid along with the platforming and fighting. Any mistakes you do is because of you and not because of the games mechanics so it's very rewarding when clearing an area or beating a certain boss. The exploration is amazing especially when certain areas music and sounds change when entering it. Just make back up saves in case one of the charms break so you can reload your save. If you going to do the invincible glitch then the enjoyment will go from 10/10 to 1/10. You'll be missing out on an awesome and rewarding game. PLAT TIME I'd say the 12 hour plat time the guide gives is ridiculous. Fastest achiever was 24 hours and followed by 2 days and 4 days. So if you expecting a quick plat you can forget about it. Also Plat time depends how lucky you get with the pantheon. I had a few times when 35 mins in the last pantheon I was down to one mask shard and died. If you want a quicker plat like in 20 hours then do the invincible glitch but I'd suggest to only do it on the last pantheon otherwise you'll just trivialize the game. I'd follow @Optinooby guide on this site as it's a perfect guide to get the plat. Would have not got the plat without it because certain parts of Hollow Knight are confusing. Anyway folks that's it from me and onto my attempt on Salt & Sanctuary platinum Glad to help m8 and ive changed the estimated time since. Truely a 10/10, I agree, or very very close to that at least!! I have a Salt and Sanctuary 3hr platinum guide here btw if it sounds like something that would help, can be found on the S&S forum. Popular Post Jonatosaurus
98 - The Binding of Isaac : Rebirth Enjoyment : 7 / 10Difficulty: 8 / 10 Really good game overall, I particularly liked doing all the challenges (except "Beans!") and the Lost was a solid defy but a fair one. On the other hand having to pick every item and that Super Meat Boy secret were a pain to get. It's a game that, like Rogue Legacy, I barely touched when it was on PS+ 5 years ago and it was also my very first rogue-like so I'm really proud to have this platinum.

Popular Post Omar
Hello everybody! I haven't posted here in a while so I bring a bunch of platinum trophies I've earned over the past few months, here they are! #153 - STEEP King of the Mountain - Unlock all trophies Achieved: February 21st, 2020 Difficulty: 7 Enjoyment: 8 PSNP's RS: Ultra Rare I was itching to play a sports game and this one was the perfect choice! Challenging, fun and engaging, I enjoyed my way through it. I am waiting for the Season Pass to go on sale so that I can aim for 100% completion, perfect excuse to revisit it when the time comes! Shoutout to the selection of tracks available, some of them fit the mountain setting like a glove #154 - Danganronpa V3 Harmony's Last Reward - Acquire all trophies Achieved: March 28th, 2020 Difficulty: 2 Enjoyment: 8 PSNP's RS: Very Rare I love the Danganronpa series so I walked into this one expecting great things and I was still surprised! Danganronpa V3 has become my favorite in the series, loved characters, music, playability and the insane amount of side content available, including a whole Dragon Quest-esque RPG. Towards the end of the platinum run I found some elements a tad repetitive and one of the minigames can be nerve-wracking but other than that it was an awesome ride #155 - Final Fantasy VII Remake Master of Fate - Earn all FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE trophies Achieved: April 20th, 2020 Difficulty: 4 Enjoyment: 10 PSNP's RS: Uncommon No, I did not platinum the game in 10 days! I was lucky enough to get my copy on April 3rd, which gave me quite the head start This is my game of the year, it was a display in excellence to me and one of the best produced titles I've seen Square Enix put out in a long time, so I'm really happy! The game was tons of fun, to the point that I wish it had some DLC to keep it going! Some Hard Mode challenges were quite tough so it was also an intense journey at times, overall a full experience that gets me dying to play the next one #156 - RIME The end is a new beginning - Obtain all trophies Achieved: April 22nd, 2020 Difficulty: 1 Enjoyment: 8 PSNP's RS: Uncommon This was a special one. Made by a Spanish studio (yay home country talent!) I was dying to give it a go and I didn't know what it was about. Needless to say, I loved every bit of it and I was moved as the credits rolled. The trophy list is pretty easy and there's no grinding required meaning it can be an easy platinum for those interested. Don't hesitate to give it a go if you are on the fence about it! #157 - Persona 5 Royal The Phenomenal Phantom Thief - Obtained all trophies Achieved: May 15th, 2020 Difficulty: 3 Enjoyment: 10 PSNP's RS: Uncommon This game was already excellent back in 2017, but Royal took perfection and improved upon it, so I don't really know what to say. A brilliant game that every JRPG fan should play, and an unforgettable experience with characters you grow incredibly attached to. It makes me sad, thinking that Persona 6 will eventually arrive and the time of the Phantom Thieves will pass, but the same happened with the iconic Persona 4 cast and what we got was brilliant too, so I have faith in Atlus Okay, that's all of them! Now, since I'm absolutely crazy, I have decided to take on the almighty Star Ocean: The Last Hope on PlayStation 4. Will I conquer it? Will I literally die trying? Stay tuned and we'll see LMAO

Popular Post Kiyan-13
#47 - Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Platinum Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Time to Plutinum(100%): ~35 Hours A very good game! I liked the setting, I liked the combat, a liked the story and most things in the game. Although there are some similarities, it didn't really feel like GoW rip off as people like to criticise it. The only downside for me was controls which were a bit clunky and it is quite noticeable on platforming parts of the game, definitely not as smooth as other Hack & Slash of its generation. From difficulty perspective, it wasn't the hardest but it was challenging enough to make you learn how to play the game. Recommended!!

Popular Post DamagingRob
#454- School Girl/Zombie Hunter School Girl/Zombie Hunter Obtain all trophies. KYC Reviews: Day 1 & Final Review. Kinda surprised by how positive I was in those KYC posts. Lol. This is what I had to say about in my status update: "I don't know what possessed me to go back to this steaming pile of crap, but at least it's done. What a nightmare... Extremely tedious to play through 3 times, play missions again and again and again for weapon drops, and SSS rank every mission on every difficulty. Stay far away, for the love of God. But if you do decide to play it, farm the WNY-P03 [XO/D] Assault Rifle from Chapter 5 before tackling the harder playthroughs. It shreds everything that isn't a boss." Most missions are easy enough to SSS rank with that gun. But it doesn't work on bosses, and doesn't have good enough range for sniper levels. So yeah, some of them were an absolute bitch to do. The Chapter 3 boss fight against 3 zombie girl bosses on Extreme was a nightmare. Need to do it without taking much damage or something, and it took me a lot of attempts. The Chapter 4 boss has to be perfect on every difficulty. One hit, and you won't get the rank. Most of his attacks are easy enough to dodge, but screw that jump attack. Then Chapter 5's isn't too terrible. Rockets stun him, so you basically spam those. Too difficult for me to not get hit, though, so I always killed extra enemies. Those exploding ground zombies can't really hit you, if you keep sidestepping. Long as you don't stand still, they're not really a problem. Might even blow up and hurt the boss. Then there's the final sniper mission.. This shit is so cheap. The zombies will sometimes spawn right on top of the girl you're trying to protect, and you're pretty much screwed if it's the poison round. Shoot them too close, and their explosion hurts and poisons the girl. Hated this mission. But not as much as some maze levels. What are these maze levels? Well, barriers block your way all over, and you have to find the right path to the exit. There's a time limit. And usually a ton of poison zombies.. I hate this status effect with a burning passion. You can only heal it twice, unless you find more health items. Which are RNG drops from defeated zombies. You might get a bunch one run, and none the next. They also explode when killed, and can set off chain reactions. Thought you avoided getting poisoned? Think again when another explodes right next to you. Game can die in a fire, the end. Platinum image: Spoiler #455- Crossing Souls You've done your homework Congrats, you can now go out and play. A much better game, and was an absolute steal for $3.74. I think my only complaints are the high amount of missables (I was very lucky I like to explore, and got those profiles at the beginning), and a certain section where a character moves like a snail. Makes sense for plot purposes, but having to solve a puzzle that requires him in that state is kind of annoying. But the rest was fantastic. Great soundtrack, retro vibe (loved the animated scenes), good story, tons of great references from my childhood, and fun gameplay. And that ending. :') It's kind of an old school beat 'em up/platformer, with some other gameplay surprises sprinkled throughout. And you have five different characters with different abilities to switch between. It can be somewhat tough at times, but not to the point of me raging at it. Difficulty was just right, even if it got a little nuts and hairy during some boss fights. Luckily, I was usually stocked up on healing items. Too bad it's no longer on sale, but maybe it will be again. Platinum image: Spoiler
Popular Post sephiroth4424
#199 Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom Completionist Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 I've been reading good things about Shiness for some time. It's an enjoyable fighting-rpg but it looked like a missed opportunity for something better. The story was interesting but they rushed it too much. You can finish the main storyline under 10 hours while a full playthrough will need 20-25. They had content to make it bigger but probably didn't have the budget
Popular Post Conor
#61- INFAMOUS (PS3) inFamous Platinum Trophy Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time Taken: 1 week, 4 days, 2 hours (30 hours in-game) Rarity: 1.9% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 11.38% Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Hard Finish- Finish story mode on Hard, without changing the difficulty setting "“Yeah, this is the finish line. Just wish I wasn't crossing it alone...” When done right, superhero games are among the most fun and compelling, especially if you throw in a well-realised morality system. For the most part, Sucker Punch pulled it off here. Cole McGrath was a simple bike messenger until he got caught in a big explosion that flattened a portion of Empire City but granted him electricity-based superpowers. He is thrust into a world falling apart, using his powers to uncover a conspiracy, save a city under siege and learn a shocking secret... inFamous is a blast to play, unlocking new powers as you go and using XP gained from combat and missions to strengthen yourself further. You can climb and jump about, beating up gang members and collecting blast shards to give yourself more capacity to use your devastating powers. You can really feel invincible at times as you lob electric grenades at your hapless foes. The story is interesting although it is occasionally delivered in massive exposition dumps, particularly after the final boss. It sequel baits hard but it really earns it. Visually, the game is a bit dated and the controls for climbing are a bit unwieldy. Collecting the blast shards was a pain and the enemies are far too accurate with their gunfire- like, how the hell did a guy nail me eighteen times in the head from a block away, way out of my range to return fire? Hard mode wasn't really all that hard and once I finished all the evil side missions (I didn a good playthrough first), I didn't bother 100% completing the rest of the side missions a second time. Mission variety was also pretty great although I found some of the more annoying ones- blowing up the surveillance devices and the photographer who only repeats the same two lines- were repeated too often. I'd have also liked maybe a little bit more variety in how things play out depending on your choices- the story is almost the exact same no matter if you play good or evil. I look forward to finishing the sequel, which I already started in order to get the online UGC trophies out of the way. I remember it controlled a bit better, at least. Not really much more to say, inFamous is a great, fun game that can be easily enjoyed across both of its playthroughs.

Popular Post SirWaWa
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Finally, the Ezio trilogy plats are mine (100% with DLC)! This is probably the most difficult AC game on PS3 because of AEOTM and il Principe. I'm glad I took a break from this after finishing the story and most of the DLC. I was struggling with the flying machine and tank missions. Eventually got them both, spending no more than an hour on each of them. That may sound like a long time but it does take a good 10mins to gain back "meaningful" progress on each restart, so really it didn't take me that many re-tries. There are some very frustrating objectives but are do-able, barely for a few. The janky framerate on PS3 doesn't help either on the time sensitive missions. I'm glad AC4 got rid or made optional a lot of the collectibles for trophies. Doing it for consecutive games is no longer fun. Not the longest AC game, that goes to AC3 if you want the plat. I don't really like the revised combat system this time around. Countering with the counter button while holding the direction to counter seems buggy. Sometimes you'll pull off clean counters and remain hit less, other times you'll get mercilessly pummeled while doing the exact same thing during perfect play. They tweaked it slightly again in Revelations but I don't find it any better. I can see why there are barriers that hold others from obtaining this relatively easy plat aside than what was mentioned. Popular Post Redgrave
- #184: Innocence - A Plague Tale: Innocence The first I saw of this was when it came out and someone I normally watch did a LP of it. I didn't watch it all the way through but I thought the game interested me enough to get it on sale at some point. I've seen the game described as really artsy but I didn't really get that impression at all, not to say it was dumb or bad. I found the story to be simple but good and the gameplay involving the stealth mechanics felt engaging enough. I expected some jankiness too but unless they patched it out I was surprised that it wasn't really janky except for maybe a cutscene or two. I especially loved watching the rats swarm a guard and then see only a skeleton remain And yes, this game features lots and lots of rats. So many rats in fact that there are times where they can be described as a sea of rats because in the distance there will be rats that move around like water. So obviously this isn't the kind of game you would want to play if you have a fear of rats For the trophies it's not hard especially if you have a guide for the collectibles and make sure you use your materials wisely for the crafting trophies. This game also has one of the more convenient collectible systems where once you get the collectible you have it even if you reload a checkpoint or die right after obtaining it which is very greatly appreciated.
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#303: Supreme Star The best I can sum this up is via this slapdash comic I made. That being said, I didn't hate it. In fact, I daresay it was an alright rhythm game. The gameplay is fine, functions well, and nothing overstays it's welcome. The story is corny Disney Channel fluff, cliche, but nothing offensive or terrible. What surprised me is that this is a game that requires specific peripherals to even play; a DS3/Sixaxis controller. This game takes advantage of every possible thing you could do with the controller; tilting, shaking, analog rotating, button pressing; that wired knockoff brands just won't cut it in getting the platinum. And there's no way around it; if you don't have that controller, you ain't getting this game finished. Popular Post madbuk
#370 - Persona 4 Golden After frequently hearing about how this is the Vita's definitive best exclusive game, I decided to try it out despite turn-based games not really having a great history with me. I... definitely do not agree with the claims. The story is good, the characters are interesting, but I wasn't really a fan of the combat or the dungeons in general (I do like the thematic aspect of them though, just not from a gameplay standpoint) and was always happy to finish a dungeon because it meant I got an extra month or so before I had to go back in again. I had originally started this years ago but the aspects of it that continued to put me off every time I tried to play it were the time limits on every event and the stress of trying to do things correctly. Do I eat food? Do I study? Do I work? Do I raise a social link? Do I go fishing? Do I read a book? It was constantly on my mind while playing that I was probably wasting my time and will regret it later when I can't create any strong personas/don't have good enough social stats for NG+/etc. Everyone kept saying to play it without a guide, so I kept listening to them, until one day a plat walkthrough appeared on this site and I decided to ignore the advice and try the game with a guide anyway. It was so much more enjoyable. All that stress of time management, completely gone, so I could sit back and just enjoy the story and experience all the content without having to concern myself with missing any of it or becoming undeveloped. Huge thanks to ARKphoenix for all the work they put into it, lots of imagery and formatting to make it easy to read and follow. It also covered all of the side quests despite being unnecessary for the platinum, so I really did get to experience all the content. There was just something strangely satisfying about working through the days and scrolling down the page. Overall, once I went back to it with a guide, I did end up liking it much more than my initial impressions, but I still disagree that it is a highlight of the Vita library, because there are plenty of other games on the device that I have enjoyed more. I doubt I'll ever be playing Persona 5 really, but I'll maybe try it if it hits PS+ one day. Edited May 21, 2020 by madbuk
