The shooting and stealth is very fun. The graphics really fit the theme, as does the soundtrack. It is 'only' a 100% game, but it's very worth it. Likelihood of me going back and getting the 100%: 90% Thanks for the great review! I personally LOVE stealth, so this is now going to rise to the top of my backlog (might even hit my backup KYC 4 list). That being said, good Segway to Game 3! Volume Initial Impressions I'm probably at about an hour and change on this. I have two impressions thus far: - BORING - This is going to be a crazy easy plat. So what is Volume? It is a top down stealth theft simulation. Sounds so awesome. I should love it. The problem is it is so easy. There is no challenge whatsoever. The checkpoints are so plentiful that any danger is meaningless. If you are spotted, you literally need to turn two corners and the AI will lose you. No searching, just last visual connection. The trophies are popping for just real simple stuff. Again no challenge. It's getting a C right now for initial impressions. Hopefully the difficulty will go up. I'm on stage 28/100 so if it's gonna get tough, it better start soon... Edited July 4, 2017 by Jaguargenie

It takes a lot of levels until it gets a bit more challenging but overall it stays that easy. Personally I didn't mind that the game was rather easy. I mainly played it for soundtrack and the narrator, though. (and I wanted to support the dev 'cause I adore Thomas Was Alone). @topic My half time impression of Valkyrie Drive will follow in the next few hours. Can't really motivate myself to write a review as everytime I think about what I should write it gets totally chaotic as I have to think about all the nonsense like girls with a height of about 69 inches / 1.75m and a bust size of 42.5 inches / 108cm, main characters saying that there's some kind of humanity inside huge robots that look like they came straight out of the Power Rangers-series (and those robots are the girls' teachers), and some other crazy and/or boring shit. Why did I buy this?

I have nothing more to add, except that not really knowing how the battle system works has set me back a bit. There's a lot to take in, so for right now, I'm just trying to captivate/capture every enemy on the battlefield to increase my charm levels. Somehow this makes it easier to peon the planet spots, which helps with continuing the story. Oh yes, more importantly, I've been skipping some of the texts. A bit too much for my liking, but I really do enjoy the game.
Popular Post crimsonidol38
Game 1, Day 2 & 3: Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni (PS Vita) Made a little bit of story progress over the course of the last few days. I progressed a little bit in the story mode but I'm not still not that far as I tend to clear out all those little dialogs that appear once in a while and can be compared to the chirper-events in the Hyperdimension-series (random amounts of more or less meaningful dialogs and stories). I'm in chapter 6 of 24 if I understand the trophy guide at PST.org correctly. And even though each chapter only consists of two or three fights plus dialogs before and after it seems to drag on as most of the time it looks like this: 10 minutes of yadda-yadda beforehand, the decision to start a fight, either battle the other characters directly or make your way towards them through several enemy hordes, and after that it's back to random yadda-yadda. The fights range from 5 to 10 minutes in length so it takes from 20 to 30 minutes per sub-chapter. So far none of them were too difficult. It might be a bit more challenging if you are forced to play one new character and she isn't leveled yet. But as there are only seven characters and I already unlocked five of them there won't be any more "difficult" fights up until the later story chapters, I guess. The overall plot didn't make any real progress so far. It's still a "we have to fight" "why?" "to make the virus treatment program successful"-situation. I guess there will be a twist later on which will unveil that the organization behind those aritificial islands just uses the powers of the valkyrie to take on world domination. Or they just film all girls while they get totally lovey dovey over each other, cause somehow it seems that the storywriters (if there were any) tried to focus on that par, at least that's what all sub-stories suggest. Overall the devs overacted with the whole girl x girl-theme, which even includes things like the two main protagonists (two sisters) kissing while they transform in battle. I don't mind if there's a real reason to add this, but the way it is it just feels like they wanted to cater to all the weebs that fall for ecchi yuri-content. Yes, Senran Kagura also included this theme and it was also rather blunt (Imu <--> Miyabi as an example) but it at least had also some fun side-stories like the whole plot surrounding Hikage (who doesn't feel any emotions and therefor tends to end in absurd situations). But there are also many other things which seem like they were added without any real sense, like the girls' teachers which are giant robots (with a height of a typical Transformer or Megazord) and are treated like they are normal humans and none of the girls really asks why their teachers are giant robots. This also makes me go to the next point I want to criticize: The cast. Seven playable characters aren't really a lot and there's not really any likeable character so far. There's the do gooder, the little sis who adores her big sis and acts like a tomboy, the streamlined housewife-character who just flows with the stream, the sassy bitch, the glutton (the one character with a bust size of 42.5 inches) and the model student. There aren't any character traits I find really appealing, not to forget that nearly all designs look either blunt or just plain ugly with their overdimensioned breasts. The only thing I somehow like so far is the battle system which, like previously mentioned, feels a bit more refined as compared to Shinovi, and Estival Versus. Still it's far away from perfect as it doesn't require any real variation. Still the battles have the problem of a rather annoying camera. I don't remember if the camera was freely adjustable in Senran Kagura, but here you can alter it a bit and also zoom in and out while it automatically tries to follow you. Tries, because there are some occassions where it just tends to get stuck at objects like bridges or you can't see one of the collectibles as the camera won't let you see upwards, which tends to be a bit annoying.

Popular Post MidnightCJ
Game #1: Day 3 Unfortunately, I had to break my rule about two hours each day and only did an hour because it's Freedom Day and I was obligated to spend time with my parents eating grilled fajitas, so I couldn't be in the house for a couple of hours. Also, I had overslept and woke up around noon and I wanted to get SOME FFXIV time in and I also had a game to plat before midnight, so I'm sorry. Anyways, in the hour I did spend on this game, I completed the first chapter after getting a fourth defense upgrade for Steve. I could have ground out weapon levels but the best farm I could get in the Underground Channel(first dungeon) was 240 ABS in the last level and that's average ABS for a level in the Rainbow Butterfly Wood(second dungeon) so screw that. Also tried an attempt to get the "Items Only" Medal in the second level of the first dungeon but I failed twice because the bats can avoid bombs, so I need to get the Improved Bombs(which can only be gotten from one of the train workers once you enter Chapter 2) which have a better blast radius and can hit thost flying rodents. I did get the Clown Robo's Attack scoop first try though and got through with very minimal damage. Steve only took 3 damage from the clow noses, he's that powerful. So now I am in Sindain and will return to Palm Brinks because a new area has opened up along with a ton of photo ops. I took a few photo ops, unlocked Rainbow Butterfly Wood and ended it there. (There were a couple of inventions I could make with the grass, rock, and log photos I got, but I will save that for the second-to-last day on this game. Popular Post MosesRockefeller
Game #3: Hyper Light Drifter Hyper Light Drifter is a top-down Zelda-style game where you use a sword and various guns alongside a short-range warp move. The defining feature of the game seems to be its lack of explanation, forcing the player to figure things out for himself or herself. You get a good sense of the game after 30 minutes, I guess. Personally I still don't really know what I'm supposed to do or what the yellow collectibles do (I understand the health pack collectibles though). There is a skull icon on my map, which presumably has a boss or something, but I haven't gotten that far. The map itself is fine, but it's not easy to see where I've been and where I haven't been yet. Visually the game is stylish, although it would definitely look better on the Switch or Vita than on a 55" TV. The sound doesn't really stand out. I have enjoyed my time with the game, but I would definitely like more direction. I don't need my hand to be held the whole time, but I prefer a bit more guidance. The controls are good, but using Remote Play on Vita maps the gun aim and fire controls (L2 and R2) to the touchscreen, which is annoying. I think I will come back to this game, but I'm ready to move onto the next game on my list for now. Playtime: 1-2 hours Trophies obtained: 1/20 + 0/3 (free DLC) Completion Percentage: 1% for a E rank Score: 7/10 My Plans after KYC: Finish the story NOTE: I added a new "plans" section to my rating template (which I mostly stole from @BillyHorrible, apart from not using his scoring system). Also, during July I have been playing Kingdom Hearts: Re: Chain of Memories and Danganronpa 2 on my PS4 and Vita, in between KYC games, and I will probably continue to do so. I've popped a few trophies and expect to get more from those games, so that will affect my completion percentages a bit. But for me this event is mostly about trying my backlog games. I don't care about my completion percentage and never will, so that part doesn't serve any purpose for me. @Hemiak, let me know if that is still in keeping with the event or if I need to focus on the KYC games only. If it makes a difference, my games so far don't seem to need 3 hours to get a feel for the gameplay, but instead they open up right in the beginning as far as I can tell.

Yeah, the requirements are just that you try to play at least 3 hours of each game, and provide a review. Beyond that, it's always been pretty lax. You can even do what I did with Star Wars Battlefront, and write extra reviews if you wish. That game was nowhere on my list.
Popular Post Edward_FOX_86
TOMB RAIDER (2013) Definitive Edition Ps4 What's Up everyone! So I guess this is part two of the Review. I'm still enjoying this as much as I did the first time I played it. I can't really explain but I love this game. I have to go back and pick up some collectibles but really that's the only con this game has, that and the multiplayer grinding which can be done alone. Other than that the Tombs are something I didn't go through on the first review. They're pretty simple, like a puzzle with a theme and you'll lose some minutes if ou don't go online but they're worth it once you finally realize what to do, besides most time its simpler than what you were thinking the first time you tried them. Besides the tomb puzzles there's some challenges that count as collectibles and those are the only ones you might have to go online (Google) to search. A little research I would say but its easy and fast to do and search. There are a ton of vídeos on Youtube as well . The multiplayer isn't all that bad as some say. I quite enjoy it and Its not that unfair really not like COD or battlefield unfair. Anyone can pull of a headshot or a nicely put together move I'l leave you a link with my last episode of the series as well oh and some statisctics that I forgot to write - 186 Games Played 18 Completed Games 29.18% Completion 4,968 Unearned Trophies As for Tomb Raider 6 of 51 Trophies earned and a completion on 8% The link to my Tomb raider last episode : And youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZh8XxtQBtK34w2qYZvHwhg BTW the episode starts witha photo of my collection. Popular Post MarkusT1992
Game #2: Tiny Troopers Joint Ops (Day 1) This game basically is a twin stick shooter. You move your troops with the left stick and shoot with the right stick. You just have to move the stick in the general direction of the enemies to aim on them. You also can use a rocket launcher, grenades and an air strike. But more on that later. The only thing you can do after starting the game is to play the tutorial, which I managed to fail three times due to unclear instructions. It said to use to fire the rocket launcher. It doesn't say to hold the button till you have aimed your shot. After finally completing the tutorial you can play one of two campaigns: The Soldiere Campaign and the Spec Ops Campaign. Each campaign is divided in 3 or 4 Operations with several missions each. To unlock the next Operation you need to beat the previous one. The missions range from just killing every enemy, destroying some buildings, survive or escort someone. I gues there are some more but that's all I had to do so far. The missions are quite short and only take a few minutes to beat. You earn so called Command Points for killing people, destroying buildings or collecting dog tags scatterd around the maps. The more enemiesyou kill fast, the higher your multiplier gets. The Command Points are used to upgrade your troops with better aim, more damage, faster movement speed and such things. Just everything important for soldiers. There are also medals you can collect in the missions, which are used to revive fallen comrades after missions. One revive costs three medals and there are only a given amount in the game. You can also use the medals to buy some specialist for the next mission. After a mission your troops rise in rank and get stronger. If one dies and you can't or don't want to revive him you get a new soldier at the lowest rank. In some Operations are special zombie levels, which are just a survive wave after wave. The aformentioned rocket launcher and the other things can be bought during missions with your Command Points. They are used with the shoulder buttons, which you have to hold till you have aimed. Otherwise you kill yourselfe because you aim near your troops by default. So far I only nearly completed to first Operation of the Soldier Campaign and am quite enjoying it. I think I will stick with giving my score at the final day of a game, so no score right now. Popular Post Mesopithecus
Game #2. Day 1 - Lumo Lumo is an isometric puzzle platformer full of nostalgia, in fact it reminded me of an old Commodore 64 game I played and hated So as you can imagine from that comment, I'm not enthralled with this game and will likely not be playing it again. Whilst visually it's charming, I found it somewhat clunky and I'm not a great fan of platformers anyway, should have really researched this game more beforehand. I have a great deal of respect that this is the work of primarily one person, it makes me want to enjoy it but I really didn't. There was a lot of death and frustration in the short time I played. I think if you like a decent challenge and are a fan of puzzle platformers from the Commodore 64 era, this would be something you'd enjoy, but sadly it wasn't for me so I won't be spending any more time with it in the next couple of days. As a replacement, I might play Magicka 2 but for now I'm going to head back to some more MeiQ (as I'm hooked ) Play time: 2 hours Trophies: 0/43 (deleted from my trophy list) Completion Percentage: 92.42% BTW @Hemiak I love the name you've used for yourself on the participants list Edited July 5, 2017 by Mesopithecus
Popular Post Kevvik
Game #2: 2064: Read Only Memories Time played: 3 hrs Initial Impressions 2064 is a throwback point-and-click adventure which takes place in a future where genetic modifications have become the rage. You play a journalist who gets by writing crappy little reviews of crappy little devices to pay the bills. One night, a ROM or Relationship and Organizational Manager (basically AI robot) shows up in your room. It was created by a friend you haven't seen in a year and is the first sentient ROM in existence. Someone broke into his apartment and the robot took off and found you as its best option of finding its creator. You embrace the challenge and start working your way through a cyberpunk underworld of hackers and genetic rights activists to try and track him down. You can interact with people with conversation options that range in tone from polite to neutral to rude/sarcastic. As some trophy descriptions seem to be based on what people think of you, I guess these will impact things later on. I also think this will take multiple playthroughs (in addition, there are 5 different ending trophies). The characters are interesting, have good voice acting and the story has me wondering where things are going next. It has some humour, mainly in how Turing (the sapient ROM) carries out some conversations. Whether that will carry through multiple playthroughs remains to be seen. The plat is UR so maybe it doesn't hold out. We'll see. I have finished 2 of 5(?) chapters and the puzzles are straight forward so far. There is a bit of length to it but that may be because I am listening and following the better part of all conversation trees. I'm doing a polite run right now which seems to be the more common choice among past players so far. The graphics work with an old school look of a scene with a portrait next to it when you are speaking to someone but fully voice acted. You can interact with objects by looking, touching/using, speaking to or interacting with it using an item from your inventory. Overall, very enjoyable so far and looking forward to seeing where the story goes. Trophies earned: 11/65, 14% for C rank Rating so far: 7.5/10 Edited July 5, 2017 by Kevvik

Final review for Valkyrie Drive while follow this evening. I won't have much gaming time today and as the new anime season starts off I want to spend the time watching a hopefully entertaining SoL-anime (Aho Girl) than spending my time with that fanservice-crapfest. Popular Post FFHannibal
Game #4 - Until Dawn Trophies: 0 of 19 (0%)Completion: 47% -> 46.80% (Went down because I played another game as well)Playtime: 3 hours 28 minutes So far so good, I'm back at a minimum of 3 hours. I don't think I could've done Until Dawn justice if I didn't. When I made the list I unthinkingly put Until Dawn on the 4th, not realising the ps+ games don't become available until somewhere around 1 or 2 PM. I also couldn't really change it to today, because I'm not going to be around my ps3 or 4 much. That said I'm not sure how much time I can manage for Titan Attacks! today. I'm pretty sure almost all of us know what kind of game Until Dawn is, and I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before when I played Resident Evil last KYC, but just in case I didn't: I. Don't. Like. Horror. Then why did I put Until Dawn on my list? Good question. I think I put it there because I feel like I'm missing out on a few gems because I can't really handle the genre. I want to get better at it (though I'm not sure how well that's going to go), and I think I managed to do quite good already. I thought Until Dawn would be a safe game to dabble in the genre, because you don't constantly have to do stuff. The hardest parts of the controls are making sure you don't move your controller and QTEs which, excuse me bragging, I'm very good at. I did require some moral support, so I moved my PS4 and made a sort of family event out of it. My little sister had already seen all of the game and wanted to see me play it. I did ask for no spoilers, but she couldn't help herself at some parts. My mom wandered in a few times and didn't really seem that interested, but when I took a break she asked me how everyone in the game was faring (luckily I could tell her nobody had died... yet). I wasn't planning to play again after I took a break, but I stopped right at the end of chapter 3. I consulted my sister and SPOILER, she told me nobody could've died yet, and I felt like I had to at least flirt with the chance of losing someone or I hadn't really experienced Until Dawn. So I played some more around midnight (and technically played longer than the allowed day), but I got to the beginning of chapter 5. The real shit has started right now, so I'm not sure how quickly I'll get back to it, but I do want to know how the rest of the story goes. Out of all the characters I like Mike, Chris and Sam the most. Emily isn't too bad, but I haven't seen that much of her yet. Jess was pretty funny so far. Ashley is really not that smart, but her hysterics are good to make you laugh and relax a bit. Matt is an ass and Joss is just a straight up creep. Some fun facts: My sister was kind enough to tell me whatever scares you the most will show up more often. She was kind enough to tell me after I honestly answered the psychologist. The dramatic music when Chris is searching the lodge with a lighter was a bit too over the top, so I spent most of the time laughing at the violin music and the whispers (so many whispering going on) than actually being scared. I also went through the house 3 or 4 times because I couldn't find the bathroom. (Also how does that lighter not run out?) My sister, despite having seen all of it before and knowing when the jumpscares are, screamed/yelled louder than I did at some of the most ridiculous things (like an Owl flying at you) Apparently I can't see ghosts ?. Anyway, I like the game a lot. There's no way I'm going to play it alone however, so I'll have to do it in sessions when my family is around. For now I still stand by my reasoning that it's a great game to get into the horror genre. I really can't do jumpscares, but the ones I've encountered so far got the adrenaline coursing, but not at dangerous levels. Popular Post Myu
Day 4 - Steins Gate 0 (Sorry, no pic this time, I don't want to go on Google Image and find spoilerish CGs ) Since the game is a sequel and you get right into spoiler territory the first minute you play it, I don't think I'll write a summary of what I've read so far. If you still want to know what it is all about, the main character, Okabe Rintaro is a chuunibyou living in his very own la-la-land, creating various useless devices and having fun with his group of friends. The lastest device is a modified microwave connected to the guy's cellphone and it soon reveals itself as a time-machine (sort of). Adventures ensue with different types of experiments until everything goes wrong.and Rintaro finds a (very painful) way to get everything back on track (sort of). I've "played" for three hours so far and I'm not that pleased with the way the story is going. I hope it will be like its predecessor : a slow starter that gets into full-power mode towards the middle of the game. Rintaro has considerably calmed down due to past events so all the funny bits are left out. You switch from characters to characters, and sometimes it's not even interesting (all that girly talk about who wants to go to ComiMa for two seconds of interesting events...). I'm still interested in the story and I still want to know what's going to happen but I'm a little bit disappointed right now. Popular Post DamagingRob
4 hours ago, Crimson Idol said: Would the name have been Thomas it would be even better. I guess... if your name is Thomas. Day 1- Crysis 2 So, now we're on what should have been my 2nd game. But I squeezed in Battlefront between this and Resogun. Lol. It's been awhile since I've played Crysis, and I can't quite put my finger on it, but this one just doesn't seem as good.. Or I've played better shooters since then or something. Basically, it starts out with your character getting the suit from the protagonist in the first game. And then you go around killing enemies. The plot is not real engrossing, and your character doesn't talk. You're shooting people and later, some type of aliens. That's all I know. Gameplay is that of your standard FPS, except for a couple of unique abilities. One allows you to turn yourself invisible, so you can stealth kill enemies, or sneak right past them. And the other makes you armored, so you can take a lot of damage and not die. Both consume energy from a bar, though. When it's empty, the effect wears off. When you kill aliens, you get points that can be spent on upgrades. I think I can better detect enemies nearby, now. Easy mode is not that easy. Or I just suck at this game. :/ And that's about all I have to say so far, for this one. Time played: 3 hours Trophy progress: 12/51 for 17% and a D rank.
Popular Post JoaoQuique
Bonus Game Nº 1 [Baseball Riot] - Final Report Expectations: Click here On this game, you are a former baseball player who wants vengeance against Explodz Inc. - for this, you should complete a large set of stages, being that to complete a stage, you must knock out a set of foes with battings. Actually, the gameplay of this game is strongly similar than Tennis in the Face, but unlike its predecessor, after KO every enemy, you can continue batting to get some stars scattered on the stage (there are 3 stars every stage, but technically you do not need to get any one of them to receive a "stage clear"). This game have eight maps, where every map mave 12~13 stages; you must complete almost all stages from a map to unlock the following map. However, unlike Tennis in the Face (which uses same standard about maps and stages), you must also accumulate some "points" to being able to go to a new map - these points are gotten by stars collected and remaining balls on a stage after kocking down all foes and getting 3 stars on it (considering also that you can receive an extra ball if you knock down every set of 3 enemies in a single bat). On every new map, this game presents some kind of new foes - per example: on first map, there are only "fans" to being hitten; on second map start to appear basefielders, which catch your ball if you throw it at their gloves; on third map start to appear umpires, which will not be knocked down if you hit them in front; and so on. As you progress on the game, the stages will also being more tricky, with some kind of obstacles (like glasses, explosives, etc.). This "difficulty escalation" is even improved if you are hunting trophies - there are two trophies related to each stage, and these difficulties are improved according to maps (example: while there is a trophy which requires 2-stars every stage on map 2, on map 6 there is a trophy requiring 3-stars every stage). Because of that, this game can be considerably harder to achieve all trophies if compared to Tennis in the Face. This post will be my final report about Baseball Riot because I will not have anything much to say - I've completed almost every stage until map 6 (I still had not completed map 6 on purpose...) and every trophy related to maps 1 to 5, and I can say that remaining stages will (probably) be harder (I'm saying "probably" because I struggled a bit to being able to go to map 6 - I completed map 5 scoring 24 ponts/stars and I should complete 30 points to go - while I completed all map 6 stages but an unplayed one with 3 stars, requirement for a trophy, without too much hassle). It's highly possible completing this game this week - I'm having a lot of fun playing this game... Playtime: About 2 or 3 hours... Trophies obtained: 10 from 16 (Completion at 50% - Rank C) Personal Completion: from 71,76% to 71,74% Final Ratings: Graphics: B - this game is cartoon-styled, and a lot simple (it requires about 30 MB of storage...) - considering that, this game's graphics are "fair"; Sound: N/A - I played this game on mute, so I can not rate in an appropriate way... Sound effects about bouncing and knocking something else are good. I can guess a C+; Gameplay: A - this game is a lot challengeful, despiting this appearance - a single pixel of difference on batting direction makes a lot of diffenece on final result. For those ones which likes these kind of games, this game is a good one; Replay Factor: A- - this game can be one of these which make you insist on a stage until it has been completed (ignoring other stuff you should do... ?). If you are not in this kind of game, this rating should be decreased considerably... Trophy-wise: B+ - this game's trophies adds a bit more challenge above the game itself, and it is satisfying when you finally achieve some ones... Popular Post Hemiak
Game 2 - 1 hr played - 3?? Trophies earned. Valiant Hearts tells the story of 3 men and a dog during World War I. I won't spoil the actual story so don't worry. The game starts with Carl, a German man living in France with his French wife and baby, getting kicked out of France and being conscripted into the German army. Shortly thereafter his father-in-law Emille gets drafted into the French army. On the first day of training Emille meets an American named Josef I believe. You take turns playing as all three of these characters, who each have different abilities and specialties. Gameplay is basically 2d movement, and hitting buttons to interact with the environment. Picking up and throwing objects, pulling levers and turning wheels are the general shtick so far. The puzzles aren't all that creative or challenging, but that's not what this game is about. There are several collectibles to pick to throughout each chapter as well. Some are pretty obvious, but some are hidden behind stuff and hard to see. A narrator provides the lions share of story for the game. Characters occasionally say one or two words, and most of the in game communication is done with symbols in speech bubbles. Completing chapters, tasks, or finding collectibles gives you more real world facts about WWI. So far the game is pretty interesting. Will continue tonight and see how far I can get. I've already missed a few collectibles but I'm not too worried about it. Finished practicing the bosses last night, it irritates me when a game makes you watch the credits every time you kill the final boss. Also picked up most of the miscellaneous boss kill trophies. Then I started my no roll run, which I finished 1.5 hrs later. I traded three of the recommended bosses out for three others I felt more comfortable with and it worked out pretty good. My no roll mode order was. The first 4 Face Titan Passive Titan Avarice (Mimic) Knight Elhanan (not recommended, but I like this fight) Rolling Titan Lava Blob (NRR) Yeti Tooth Statue (NRR) Final two bosses I actually tried the skull who is recommended and couldn't survive for longer than 5 seconds after 10 attempts. Killed the Lava Blob istead after 3. I felt pretty comfortable with the tooth guy so decided to give him a couple shots and ended up killing him first try. Continuation of boss list from yesterday Old Ruins Area Boss: Mimic Chest Attacks: Shower of giant coins, hops around, teleports and tries to smash you, shoots a single coin at you. Weak Points: Mouth (inside chest) Strategy: Wake him up and move to avoid the first coins. Dodge and keep moving to avoid his hops and his teleport smash. After two more hops he flips and lands mouth towards you to shoot a coin, this is your chance to tag him before the coin hits you. Boss: Legendary Knight Attacks: Fires giant arrow, giant arrow continues to move around room. Fires 3 extremely fast small arrows. Moves around the room to get better shots at you. Weak Points: Giant arrow, unarmored body. Strategy: Dodge the initial giant arrow, then at least one small arrow. Once the giant arrow stops glowing tag it to stun and expose the boss. Grab your arrow and nail him before he can armor up again. Graveyard Area Boss: Face Titan Attacks: Moves in a diamond pattern always facing the player. Shoots 3,5,7 then 8 projectiles. Weak Points: His back Strategy: Start on the left side, after waking him up immediately recover and fire to the top left, then start running downwards. Just before he reaches his position on the left side start pulling arrow toward you... Profit. Boss: Passive Giant Attacks: makes you feel bad about yourself. Seriously though he doesn't attack. Weak Points: Eye Strategy: Climb up to him and shoot him. Lost Woods Boss: Giant Mushroom Attacks: Jumps around, following player, shoots out spores in either a cross or X pattern. A direct hit will kill, traveling through the cloud after they explode causes non fatal "hallucinations" Weak Points: Tiny eye/mouth on the stalk Strategy: Every time the boss lands it rotates 1/8th of a turn. Avoid getting smashed and the spores until you have a clear shot and the weak point is accessible. Boss: Plantera (actually Vine something) Attacks: 4 spiny tendrils that he rotates and slams down. A cloud of poison smoke that follows the player. Deep inhale that can Suck you in. Weak Points: mouth on one petal, the juicy center. Strategy: The boss will sprout tentacles and spin about 1/2 to 3/4 turn, then spin back. Dodge tentacles and poison until it starts inhaling. Nail the mouth and start pulling. This will open the petal, and the boss will begin spinning again. Hit the middle when it comes around again. Final Area Boss: Asshole (OK, so it's another statue with fists and lasers) Attacks: Smashes with fists, shoots lasers either directly towards player, or in a predictable arc. Phase 2: fists + huge chest laser beam. Weak Points: Lens the chest laser comes out of. Strategy: There are two large switches on the left and right side. Bait the fists into activating these, which sends him into Hyper mode. After two very quick fist strikes the laser will power up and you can punish him. Boss: Doppelganger (The Soul) Attacks: Shoots an arrow, pulls arrow back. Every time he shoots 4 little energy balls are released in a cross pattern, which then begin tracking you for about ten seconds. Teleports, and hell steal your arrow and start controlling it if you leave it on the floor too long. Weak Points: When he teleports he splits in two for a second. The human side is weak. Strategy: Wake him up and move left. Aim at him and deflect his arrow with your own. Retrieve arrow and move to the north. Dodge one more arrow and hell teleport to a semi predictable spot. Shoot and hope you time it right. Boss: Truth (true final boss) Attacks: phase 1: Splits in two rings, one rolls horizontal, then the other rolls vertical. Phase 2: A whole bunch of wierd eye and mouth creatures spawn, the mouths track you, though any will kill you. Phase 3: More mouth creatures. The eye turns into a giant 4 legged spider that walks towards you. After a couple seconds it drops down and fires a laser at you. Weak Points: Always the purple eye. Strategy: Phase 1: move slightly north and to the right of middle. Move down to avoid the first ring, dodge left to avoid 2nd and immediately fire your arrow into the eye on the first ring that should be right in front of you. Phase 2: Shoot the first mouth creature below you. Shoot two more above you and look for the bigger purple eye creature coming from the top right. Shoot it. Phase 3: Shoot the mouth creature below you, shoot the nearest mouth creature. As the spider drops down a shoot it before it fires. And that's it. The regular ending boss is way harder to kill than the true end boss. 3 phases doesn't make a fight harder I'd each one is basically equivalent to the easiest fights in the game. I'll probably do my all boss iron mode (no death) run tonight. Yes, I will be using save backups, but I will at least beat the first four before backing up. I might even go so far as to beat each area before backing up, instead of doing it after every boss. So far this game is 9/10 fun and ~7/10 difficulty.
Popular Post crimsonidol38
*skims through the KYC3-thread to find his template and also his ratings* Game 1, Final Review: Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni (PS Vita) Previous posts: Day 1, Day 2 & 3 I don't have much to add about the game which I haven't mentioned in the previous posts. The only thing I might want to add and which I somehow forgot although I experienced this on all days: If you ever decide to buy and play this game, expect it to crash without any real reason. There seems to be a common problem that the game tends to crash when you move from some specific menus to others, mainly when moving from the dressing to the dining room (which is more or less the main menu plus the ability to raise the relationships). But crashes can also occur iin any other occassions. This, combined with the slow loading times, makes every crash really annoying, even if the game has the ability to autosave, which it at least does on a regular basis. And I think it's somehow funny to read that the japanese version is even more prone to crash than the western version. How can devs screw up that much. But hey, at least we can buy some costume-DLC for at least 2 EUR per costume. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ As a final conclusion I can only say that this game only has one real advantage over the Versus-games from Senran Kagura: The slighlty enhanced battle system. Otherwise, I had far more fun with Shinovi and Estival Versus. Stats: Rating: Total playing time: ~13 hoursTrophies earned: 20 / 50Completion rate: 35% Rank: BDid the game lower my completion? Yes My ratings: AWESOME!!! Fun to play, sure will continue playing these Good while it lasted, but let us just stay friends, kay? Be glad if you weren't deleted already Wait, who are you? I don't know you...oh shit, you are in my trophy list aka Starting tomorrow I will spend my time with Jotun. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
Game #2 - Day #2 First thing I realised was that this also unfortunately has an online mode. Of course no one on my friends list own this game, so it seems like I'll be creating gaming sessions for this sometime in the future. Anyway you start off by "creating" your rider, what you actually do is pick an ugly mug, one of two suits that are intended for racing and that's about it. I didn't expect otherwise, as it's a racing game after all. Then you pick one out of three bikes, of of them is superior to the others so I don't know why anyone would pick any of the other two. Off to the world tour I go (because fuck idling around in online mode until someone shows up), and there seems to be a decent amount of variation. Well, at least there are 8 (?) different tours to choose from, each intended for a specific type of bike (as in heavy, medium, classic, ). Each of those tours, have another 5 or so segments restricted by the cc of the bike. Entering one of those will finally lead you to 5 tracks you can race on. Usually 3 of them are regular races of 3 laps each and the remaining two vary between time trial, head to head, track and drag races. There might be more variations, but so far I only encountered those. Winning races nets you credits and fame. With the former you can buy new bikes (there are about 80). Some of the bikes you can win though, by placing 1st on one of the elite tours that gradually unlock. Managed to win the first one by positioning myself right in front of the driver that was second (but had a faster bike), who ended up ramming against my rear wheel throwing me off my bike, over the finish line. There's also a quick race and training or something like that, neither of which I tried out, so yeah. Edited July 5, 2017 by voodoo_eyes

I added this to my list as well, but I'll probably play something between Titan Sound and this since they're at least partially similar. I'd only heard of it in passing and then saw it on sale and it looked pretty interesting. One thing I find amusing is that the EU version plat is over 2.5% rarity while the US version is .71% I think this is the first time I haven't ended up playing the most common version of a game. Oobedoob S Benubi
Doing a short check-up to see how the event's going, lots of fun games being played! You can't see it because I put my trophy view on friends only (how's THAT for killing my completion - actually it's just another step in my plan to game more; if I can't look up my profile here then I'll bother with the trophies less and I can just enjoy the games more), but I still played through all my games from day two, as well as playing a bunch of other games from my list. Played through the Hitman prologue (will definitely buy the full game but will wait on a better sale as it doesn't offer enough content for me), Firewatch (cool game and also dang, @PerryToxteth was not kidding about the emotional prologue...) and The Fall (awesome game, will buy the sequel right away when it releases on the Switch) earlier this week. Then I wanted something new so I traded in a bunch of games I was done with and bought Elite Dangerous with the acquired funds. Those who know the game now realise my completion percentage won't be looked at any time soon... The only thing I know about this game is what I learned from Billy's reviews and that it's a short and easy platinum. Apparently I didn't pay very good attention to Billy's info because it's not what I was expecting. This game is basically a 60s style B grade sci-fi movie. You the "viewer" is watching the movie while listening to commentary provided by the original director. This all I was expecting. The game is basically a top down shooter where you control one of three characters as they climb the "Deadly Tower...." I don't know exactly what I was expecting but this isn't it. Don't know what you were expecting but it helps that I rarely talk about gameplay specifics... Setting, story and overall feeling are often what I discuss because those are what interest me. The gameplay is a bit bland but I think the overall game is hilarious.
